I had some work done (on recommendation) on my truck from a shop in Billings claiming to be an extreme diesel repair shop. So, when the turbo on my 2011 Ram 3500 went out, I had it towed back there for a quote. I was shocked by the prices I was quoted (I wish my shock and surprise had ended there) approximately $3000 for a non-VGT turbo and close to $3500 for a VGT turbo. So to this day, I still dont why i didnt think of Frank, call it ignorance on my part. He had done some previous work on my vehicles and did an amazing job. I guess in times of panic you dont always think clearly, a lesson i will not forget! Anyhow, after picking myself off the ground after hearing the prices, I called Frank. He gave a quick quote over the phone on a brand new VGT turbo with exhaust brake. It was over $1000 cheaper and on top of that, he handled all the leg work to get my vehicle from the other shop to his. Remember the part where I said I wish my shock and surprise had ended there, well here you go. I hadnt really taken the time to look at the work that was previously done on my truck by the other shop, I really wish I had. So one day when I swung by Franks shop to check on how the turbo was progressing, he took some time and enlightened me. The other shop had stripped the threads on studs for my EGR valve and decided to stack multiple washer instead of replacing the stud, They took a metric bolt and cross-threaded it into a pipe plug hole in my intake and it looked like a two year old had ran all the wiring! There was more but, this review is long enough and I hope you get the point. Save yourself the money and the headache, go to Franks. He methodical, precise and doesnt take shortcuts. So, it might take a little longer in some cases but, you will thank yourself in the long run when its done right!

Franks does amazing work. Always helpful, even if they dont work on your vehicle, you can get great consultation and the rates are, in my experience, the lowest in town for the work performed.

I took my 2002 Ford to Frank to rebuild the 7.3 diesel engine. We settled on a price for the work and a time it would be done. It took 6 months longer than stated cost nearly twice the quote and the agreed rebuild was not done. I took him to court and he lied under oath. BEWARE of this shyster.
