We had a 45’ motor coach towed in on a flat bed after they agreed to repair. After sitting there for 24 hours they decided they no longer wanted the job. We had to scramble on a Friday before a holiday weekend. They even lied to the road service paying for the tow, who had to pay a second time. Very unprofessional, fly by the night shop. You’ll see that if you show up there.

Advertises 24 hour service. Was on the road traveling toward billings and needed a quick repair. Never got a return call back. Yes it was Sunday, 24 hour service is just that no matter what day.Update - Their reply to my review was as timely as after hours 24. hour service, over a month. Kind of childish to call me a crybaby, but oh well. I wasnt unkind just stated a fact. This review had over 50 views. If I hear from them again I will post the reply they left for me.

Had a very good experience with Yellowstone got into a bind radiator cracked minus 13 degrees outside and they were able to get me out of there within a couple days only because they were so slammed with the cold weather and nobody else could look at me until another week. Hats off to these guys top notch

Updated review: I blew a radiator hose and have been trying to call these guys since 3:30 in the morning to get it repaired. I keep getting a recording that phone number xxx-xxxx is not available. So much for 24 hour service. Update... finally got someone to answer the phone at 10:30 they refused to work on the truck until Monday and said that I hadnt been trying to call for that long. I have been sitting in below zero temperatures for 8 hours with no heat. Stay away from this guy. He is a real piece of work....

Fixed my truck quickly.

We were towing a three car trailer with our Ford F350 when the axle seal failed near Billings.In spite of the fact that Jake was busy with a ton of other work, Jake took us into his shop to inspect the truck.A failed axle seal turned into the worst wheel bearing failure I have seen in my 15 years of working on cars and trucks, and it was clear that we needed a complete axle replacement - the wheel bearings had gotten extremely hot and welded themselves to the axle housing.Jake shifted his schedule, worked through the weekend, and moved many things in his personal life to ensure that we got on the road as quickly as possible.Jake’s hospitality, genuine care, and willingness to prioritize our needs over his own is something that I’ve rarely encountered in life, and I will remember our experience with his business for years to come. Took them two days to replace egr pipe. They broke plastics in the cab and charged 1500$ for couple hours of work. Told me they will mail broken plastic to me and its been couple month now . Avoid to go they unless you want waisted your time and money. They also messed with my personal belongings in the cab

DONT GO HERE!!! Ive had generator problems for 3 days and after many places telling us we would have to wait 2-3 weeks we found this place who said they would get to us this evening . We showed up around 12pm and waited patiently for our turn. We had to get on the road with a working RV ASAP to get to glacier national park. We had no power to the cabin. It is now 5 oclock and no one has came and spoke to us. A guy walks up and tells us he was on the road all day and the guy on the phone didnt have time to get to us and they were closing. Their hours on google say 24 hours. Obviously not.***no one came out and said anything to us until after 5pm. They came to the roll up door at 4:58 and shut the door. No after hours service was ever even offered. Looks like it’s your loss because we would have paid it.

Worst worst repair shop. They are thieves just ripping customers and steal their money. Clutch broke down and 13 days truck was parked and they didn’t work done. So at last truck towed away in parts to other shop. Not giving even 1 Star

DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS they will strong arm you into paying ridiculous repair costs and then when you piss them off they will tighten up your brakes and ruin then in less the 20 miles and potentially cause a brake fire and burn your load to the ground

What a great outfit! Were full time RVers and blew a fuel pump in Billings. Jake couldnt help us directly because they dont work on motorhomes (seems one does but I digress). He did however pick up a friend from another business and drove out to our RV which was disabled at a gas station. Between them they sourced a willing tow truck and garage. Wed been unable to do this for hours.Then, though he made no money on the transaction, he called the next day to see how we had faired. We were stranded until Jake. Great guy, great company!

He come out to Walmart and replced my air compressor after one mobile service left me stranded bc he couldnt fix it. Jake fixed it and got me back on the road. Will definitely recommend them to anyone needing semi work around billings

As far as Im concerned there is only one guy to call if you break down in Billings! I limped my truck into his shop and he got me out even though the part place gave us the wrong pump he was able to make it work (I had livestock on) and when I got the bill I was relieved since it was a late last minute deal... Although it was for a slightly embarrassing reason( I was in a loaner truck with a malfunctioning fuel gauge and 1/4 tank meant empty🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️) the professionalism and the personality of the owner and the speed at which he had me moving again was surprising and impressive. Once again, Jake comes thru! My trailer breakdown a few weeks back has made me quite paranoid. When I saw a little grease on the trailer wheel, Jake jumped into action and showed me that everything is perfect. He wouldn’t accept a dime and even had my semi washed for me after I wasted over an hour of his time! I guarantee that if anybody has had a problem with Jake, they were the problem...not Jake.

I was stranded along side the road when my motorhome broke the main belt, Jake came out to assess my problem and decided that the problem could not be repaired unless it was towed to a shop. Jake was concerned for our well being as the area we were in was sketchy.

I called first to make sure they were OPEN...they said they were. I just had a valve stem replaced. They charged be almost $400... their excuse was that it was after hours ....but it wasnt...I called and asked first.

Brought me back to town and somehow found the rare alternator for cheaper than he quoted. Went back out the next morning, installed it and has worked well ever since. Where do I start? I contacted Yellowstone for help with a serious trucking issue. I was traveling through an area in MT that I was unfamiliar with. The weather was extremely cold and bad. My air breaks locked up on me and another critical part that connected my truck to my trailer broke apart. This left me stranded, so I reached out to this company for assistance. Not only did they help me, they went above and beyond the call of duty. The owner was so helpful and he walked me through some critical next steps to get back on the road. Additionally, he saved me at least $1500 by telling me how to resolve the issue. It was tough but Im glad I followed his instructions.This is not a greedy company that wants to beat truckers over the head. This is a company with great integrity and character. They even checked on me after the fact to make sure I was okay and to make sure that I was able to solve the problem. Very professional help me diagnosed my truck over the phone. I ordered parts and he brought them out to me I. His personal vehicle helped get truck fired up and followed my oversized load into town to insure I got off the highway before dark. On top of all this the rate he quoted me was cheap. Called this company for road side service, and after several hours of the kid working on our truck, we tried to share our concerns about how the job was going with Jake who responded with saying our “concerns were beginning to sound like complaints”. I found this very unprofessional. The kid that worked on our truck should get 3 1/2 stars, mainly for his effort. He tried and did his best with what he had to work with (considering he had never replaced a radiator on a Kenworth). But Jake gets 1 star for his complete lack of professionalism with a customer paying thousands of dollars just wanting some reassurance that the job was going to be finished correctly.

Broke down at 3-4 am with it being -17 degrees outside. Told me it would be about 4hours before he could get to me because he had a bunch of trucks down. Asked if I heat in the truck which I didnt. So he picked me up n let me ride with him while he did his service calls. My truck was down from Thursday morning to Monday night. He made sure I was ok every day and night that I was there. I would have to say Jake n seth is probably the best guys out here. Not for their work but their hospitality. You dont meet people like this everyday. Especially in industry now days. So to the people who gave him anything less than 5 stars. Youll probably one of the ones who hovered over his shoulder or calling every 10 minutes wondering where he was. Just sit back try to relax and hell take care of you.

Was broke down in billings. Called this company as the local freightliner dealership recommended. They came out to my trailer but couldnt fix it because of the availability of parts. They were very accommodating to me even to bring me to a hotel room for the night. Parts came in the morning, they fixed my trailer promptly and professionally. My family just started our vacation and had an issue with a tire on our travel trailer. It was Sat. July 2 and we were stranded 60 miles from any services. I tried to get help from 6 places. No one would help and many did not return my call. Jake from Yellowstone Truck Service found the parts we needed and traveled many miles on that Sunday to service our camper and get us on our way. He also called us multiple times to make sure everything was working perfectly. We are very satisfied with Jakes work.

I had a great experience with Yellowstone. We were traveling from MT to MN on a Saturday and had a wheel bearing go bad on my pickup truck. We started calling places around Billings and everyone was closed until Monday. Once I got a hold of Jake, he started working with me to try and get my truck fixed ASAP. First he offered to get it fixed Sunday morning and I was happy with that (it was better than Monday!). But he kept digging into options to get the part and repair it sooner. A few minutes later he called back, he had the part and would be on his way to my location shortly. Once he arrived, he and James started work immediately and in a short time the work was done professionally and we were ready to continue our trip to MN. These guys work hard, know what theyre doing and care about helping out. Great service!!

Had a problem getting fuel to a generator he was able to diagnose the problem had to drop the fuel tank to fix the faulty valve replaced a couple other lines that were leaking just an awesome job great guy dont be afraid to call him for anyting. Thanks again Jake

First time i used this shop i had called a few other places first and got no answer or call back, Jake answered right away and got back to me with updates on when he found the parts he needed for the repair and i was back on the road before any other shop called me back the next morning. I had a steady oil leak from under the engine and could not pin point exactly where it was coming from. I dreaded making an after hours emergency call out to a service truck but I had no choice. Jake arrived in the time he said he was going to be there, and within 5 min he found the oil leak. Turned out to be a cracked oil pan. He was able to get the oil pan (considering it was now 3am) and install it and had me back on the road in short notice. He was thorough about his work, and was priced fair for the work performed. I recommend him to anyone else that needs roadside assistance.

They didnt know was was going one. Air bags wouldnt air up and as I result of their incompetence they tore air lines and rigged the tanks. Use them because you need help but only as the last and I mean last resort.
