I cant begin to explain all that Jim did for my floors. My late husband put them in. They had a special meaning to me. A few years ago, I pulled out my fridge to clean behind it and snapped the hose to the icemaker. Water flooded my floors for 25 minutes. They were destroyed. After looking around for someone to fix them, Jims name came up the majority of the time. I reached out to him and he came and looked at them. I knew they were in bad shape. Jims hard work has brought back my floors to brand new. He went above and beyond anything I could imagine. To say I am happy is an understatement. I cant thank Jim enough❤

Jim and crew completed a challenging vinyl and engineered wood floor installation on time and within budget. Jim was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning of the project thru project completion, always returning phone calls and texts and adjusting project schedule as necessary. One particular issue with the project involve the required inspection of each piece of engineered flooring for product deficiencies prior to installation which Jim and crew completed, removing all pieces as required. I presented Jim with the challenge of a yellow pine floor that had worn down to the bare wood with 20 years of use. Jim and crew did an excellent job of restoring the floor to its original grain and lustre. They performed and contained the work really well. I highly recommend him for any tough wood floor task. He was a joy to work with!

I hired the company based on the near perfect reviews I had seen. Jim and Mike were extremely professional, conscientious and did a beautiful job in what was a less than perfect situation due to the damage of the hardwood floors. The price quote was very reasonable and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Not to mention, very nice guys.

Jim does excellent work. He just refinished some pretty worn down wide pine flooring for me and the results were great. The flooring looks like new again. He also made custom transition pieces to match the existing floor. Will certainly use JBC again for the rest of my floors.

Additionally, Jim repaired 3 wooden stair treads that had been improperly installed by a previous contractor. Jim analyzed the issue and corrected the problems. Jim and Mike restored the original pine floor in an apartment above my 1860s barn. I am VERY happy with the results! Jim was extremely easy to work with and I enjoyed talking to them. He explained the process, answered all my questions, and recommended an approach. He listened to my thoughts and concerns and adjusted the approach accordingly. The floors had not been refinished in a very, very long time, and in many spots the varnish was worn completely away. I wanted to retain all the character that years of use imprinted into it.Jim recommended a natural finish and a tough poly final coat to stand up to the abuse an apartment floor will undoubtably receive. They leveled and secured the boards. The job started and ended on time, and was completed on budget. They cleaned the job site each day.This old floor now looks as good or better than it ever has. If you are looking to have your old or new floors refinished I recommend that you talk to him!

Jim and his crew did a fantastic job finishing the red oak wood flooring in my hallway. They helped me out of a jam when the original water based finish that I applied to the floor did not match at all with the adjacent flooring that was installed 18 years before. Jim and his crew sanded the bad finish off and applied a new oil based finish that looks 1000 times better and closely matches the rest of the red oak flooring that I have in my house. The attention to detail to minimize the amount of dust created by the sanding was wonderful. Jim showed up when scheduled, completed the job on time, and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend him and will call him back when I have future floor finishing needs!

I called Jim to refinish a hallway and bedroom hardwood floor based on all of the positive Google reviews. I was not disappointed. The floors look like I had never walked on them and were better than when my house was new. He and his helper did a fabulous job, and cleaned up so that there wasnt a speck of dust from the sanding. The 3 coats of poly gave a wonderful sheen without being too shiny, and I couldnt be more delighted with the results. New life was breathed into our mistreated 1930s wood floors. It looks like we had a new floors installed!
