Went in today to repair a watch and they told me is was working fine - just showed me what to do! I so appreciate the honesty! Plus, SUPER friendly. i found this by doing a google search and went in because of the great ratings and review.. and they lived up to them without a doubt. And, they had an amazing selection of old vintage watches of every make and brand you could imagine. 5 plus starts from me!!!

Absolutely fabulous experience. I purchased a watch made in 1971 for my 50th birthday. As clean as it looked in the photos, the watch is even better in person. I pushed the order button on Sunday, they shipped from CA on Monday and I received in NY early morning on Tuesday. Highly recommend. Ill be buying again!

Bought my favorite watch here. Anything you buy comes fully serviced and guaranteed. Have brought it in to fix small issues here and there and it is always in tip top shape. I bought another watch second hand from another less than savory dealer second hand and the team at Second Time Around fully serviced it and made it like new again. The staff is super friendly, knowledgable, and most importantly honorable.

I cant say enough positive things about Second Time Around! Weve bought a couple of watches from them and been incredibly happy with quality and service. When I was in an accident and my watch was badly damaged, I sent it to them for repairs. When UPS lost the watch, they proactively managed reaching out to UPS and then sent me a new watch, perfectly done. Flawlessly professional and super kind communications made the process a pleasure. Ordered a vintage watch through the online store and was extremely impressed with both the watch and the service. The watch was exactly as pictured on the website with no hidden wear or blemishes. Ordered the watch late in the afternoon and received it cross country the next day. The package also included a handwritten thank you note from the store which I felt was a very nice touch.

Id been foolishly going to Tourneau and paying $25 to have my battery changed. Shame on me. I found this little hole-in-the-wall on Google, and figured that the 4 stars (except for one cheapo who complained about the price!) meant that J was worth trying.YES. This is the place for all things watches. Fast, efficient, inexpensive, and a charming young woman at the desk. Go, and go nowhere else.(P.S.: discount for military personnel. I LOVE this place.)

Ive been putting off replacing my watch battery for weeks. I was in the Hillcrest area for a workout and found this place on G+. The original plan was to drop off my watch and return after my workout to pick it up. My plans changed because it only took 30 seconds to change the battery. Awesome quick and friendly service. Total cost: $10.75!

My husband’s vintage Omega watch was damaged after being dropped by our 3 year. I took it to a neighborhood jewelry store and it was unfortunately further damaged. I then mailed it back to the Northern California watch dealer he originally purchased it from and after about 6 months was told “the watch was irreparable and should be sold for parts.” Second Time Around Watch was my last hope. Not only did they fix it, they cleaned it up, serviced it and warrantied the repair. Jon and his staff were professional, super knowledgeable, and nice to work with. Yesterday, I surprised my husband with his fully functioning Omega for the Holidays and he was thrilled!

Very decent and professional people who will advise you on restoration of watches you cherish or sell you beautiful wristwatches at pretty fair prices. I’ve gone in there w a watch expecting to have to pay a bunch and the nice man (whose name eludes me) cleaned her up and taught me things, wouldn’t accept any payment!?! THAT made me a repeat customer.
