Ive been seeing Dr Goodman since 2013 when I moved to LA. He is fairly priced, extremely detailed and an expert in veneers and cosmetic dentistry. I had 8 veneers, top teeth put in in 2016 and they are completely natural looking and going strong. No cracking or wear and tear. He has an excellent hygienist who gives thorough routine cleanings. I cant recommend him and his office highly enough.

Selective on the patients he is willing to take. There is ever present bias in the atmosphere in that office. Certain demographics the staff make you feel very unwelcome. Also sliding scale pricing depending on who you are. Some potential patients he wants you pay up front even if you have PPO insurance.

Many experiences in my life had led me to believe that dentists always exaggerate or even make up dental problems upon examination so they can charge you an arm and a leg to fix your teeth. I began to expect it every time, until i drove out of my way to see Dr. Goodnan after hearing great things from a close friend because i was experiencing pain in a few areas of my mouth. FINALLY an honest, kind dentist that exposed many of the lies i had been told from previous dentists. Without me having to point them out, he identified the specific issue with each area of pain that i was experiencing and NO EXTRA BS. When i got the bill after service, I was surprised to see very reasonable prices from a dentist in Beverly Hills! If you are looking for a dentist, look no more. Dr. Goodman is your go-to guy.

DR. Joseph Goldman does great work. It was painless and the price is right.I am with him since 2018 and every experience is good. I have never been to a better Dentist office. Dr Goodman is fantastic. He is very concerned about his patients. He will go over and beyond to get the care and treatment you need. I have never experienced this kind of care from any past Dentist I have ever been too. I get nervous at the Dentist but have never felt like that with Dr Goodman. I commute from Pacific Palisades to Beverly hills three times a year to get my cleaning and check-up. Dr. Kim has tiny hands and does an excellent job of cleaning. Dr. Goodman is super smart and kind to my teeth. He may be a famous TV dentist that lives up to his fame where it matters most in the dental chair. Dr. Kim and Dr. Goodman are great dentists! If I have any concerns, Dr. Kim is often able to handle them when I come in for my cleaning so there is no need for a second visit. It is a huge time saver. This dental office staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Best Cosmetic Dentist!!Dr. Goodman and his staff are amazing! I recently had veneers done and sadly, they were the wrong color and shape and naturally, I was very disappointed. I interviewed five highly rated cosmetic dentists in Los Angeles and Dr. Goodman was my last interview, and I am so grateful that I persisted and found him! He is the absolute best of the best. My veneers are absolutely beautiful and I constantly get compliments.Dr. Goodman is a perfectionist and gets every detail just right. He listened to me extremely carefully to make sure that he understood exactly what I was looking for and to ensure I would be happy with the results. He took hours talking to me, going over the plan and discussing the color of the veneers, the shape, the translucency, length, texture, etc. You can not go wrong with Dr. Goodman. He is extremely patient and makes every effort to make you happy with the results. He is wonderful and I feel lucky to have met him. I will refer all my friends and family to him.

I decided to go Dr Goodman because in terms of location he was the closest doctor to me and a coworker who had gone to him said he had a neutral experience and after looking up his reviews he seemed fair to visit.So I went in for a teeth cleaning and consultation which went fine. Got some X-rays done, and discussed some priorities for what needed to be addressed urgently and was told I will be e-mailed a treatment plan with more details.I am a very practical and frugal person and so based on the cost, urgency, and my insurance benefits. I quickly prioritized what needed to be done and started working on it.The reason I give 1 star and to Dr Goodman is for the following reasons.1) Inadequate communication regarding the treatment plan.2) He rushed to treat me for a crown before fully discussing the cost after insurance with me. Despite me coming in that day for cavities only. And then he refused to finish treating me for cavities because I said I did not want the crown that day given its cost which again he did not discuss with me before rushing and starting the treatment.3) He does not take into consideration the patients condition, lifestyle and opinion when prioritizing the treatment plan.4) He dramatizes the state of things.5) He will maximize his profit in lieu of taking care of the patients needs.6) He easily puts the blame of the miscommunication on his other employees and creates unnecessary tension and discomfort while the patient is present.Overall I felt as if my time was wasted and that I was being disrespected and that he only cared about how much money he could get out of making me stick to how he wanted the treatment plan to go.I will not recommend anyone to see him unless you want to be confused about your treatment plan and dont care about paying a lot out of pocket just for his own benefit.He left me feeling very frustrated and uncared for.

After my previous dentist retired, I was terrified at having to find somebody new but as it turns out, I did not need to worry. I love Dr Goodman, Dr. Lisa Kim & this whole office ! Both Dr Goodman & Dr. Kim worked on my partial crowns saving a portion of each tooth. I was instantly impressed & very happy! My first cleaning by Dr. Kim was the best cleanings Ive ever had. At some point I needed a root canal and Dr Goodman referred me to a really good root canal specialist after it was finished Dr saved my pre existing crown !! Wow ! This office is beautiful & yet the staff are down to earth & customer care focused they have taken really taken good care of me, which is not so common for business these days. I am so grateful to have found them all! By the way free parking across the street seals the deal !

Dr. Goodman has been my dentist since 2006 and I love him. We have been through a lot together with my mouth and after the first 3 years of extensive work -- now I only have to go in for my 2x/yr check ups and my teeth are beautiful. I cant say i like going to the dentist but this office is awesome. The waiting room has fancy sparkling water and comfortable couches. Dr. Goodman is a charming dude that gets the job done. I drove 1.5 hours to consult with Dr. Goodman.Driving is a mess, parking not any better at lunch time, but then I walk into the office with my car in the 20 minute zone. His staff immediately offered me to take their own parking spot in the back alley and they moved their own car. Wow. The office is very charming and spa like. Very cozy and you can tell you are in Beverly Hills. I originally came only for a consultation to redo my old crowns and veneers, like 22 of them, not cheap either, but I ended up starting the procedure that day . Fast forward 3 weeks: The final work looks absolutely beautiful, perfect fit, and is comfortable to chew on. Could not have asked for anything more. From beginning to the end a great, pain free, and comfortable experience.

Best dentist ever !! Very nice and friendly dentist with a sense of humor. Not always on time, but I rather wait a little than going to a dentist who has no patients in the waiting room. He fixed my front teeth, because I had it cracked 14 years ago and they still look great. No one can even tell that I ever cracked my tooth. I then referred two of my very close friends to him for porcelain veneers and they were both extremely happy. One of them keeps telling me to this day that no one can even tell that she has veneers, because they look so natural. Dr. Goodman amazing. Thanks for all the years of taking good care of me.

The doctors here are amazing! I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed in one day. It took under two hours and I had minimal pain during and after the procedure. I returned to work the very next day and hardly needed pain medication. They were very patient and made sure to explain to me what to expect and made sure that I was not in pain every step of the way. The office is very clean and modern. The staff at this office are always eager to help, kind, and remember you after just one visit.

When it comes to Cosmetic Dentistry, Joseph Goodman DDS is the best. I never thought I would write a review until my friend had veneers done somewhere else and the story she had to tell me was horrible. 3 times redone, endless injections at every try in, every time something was off.. too thick...too rounded... too heavy looking. UPDATE- The response from the doctor was so poor. “I’m sorry you feel that way” your assistant touched my tools and my face with latex gloves that I’m clearly allergic to!——Assistant used latex gloves (this is in my file, I announced it to the doctor and assistant when I walked in the room) which I am extremely allergic to that caused me to have a really bad allergic reaction on my face and lips. When I asked her if those were latex both doctor and her said “yes, but I didn’t touch you so you’ll be fine” (she touched tools that went in my mouth and my chin) What a demeaning thing to say to a patient with an extreme allergy.Among other things that happened I did not have a pleasant experience here. I am embarrassed and sad that my health was not put first and dismissed like a bad joke.

I have been going to Dr. Goodman for many years now and I can honestly say that he is one of the most professional and personable doctors I have ever gone to. First off, his office is in the heart of Beverly Hills, which is amazing, and parking across the street is free for 2 hours. So i dont have to worry about those pesky meters. Second, his office has movies playing and magazines to read, while im waiting, so it literally flies. So by the time, I sit in the chair, I am super relaxed. He always takes the time to explain to me what has to be done, what my alternatives are and how long it will take. Everything is full disclosure. Plus, all of the people who work there are super nice. After the first time I went to his office, the receptionist remembered me. Its those little things that make me feel at home. Lastly, the biggest reason I go to him, is that his work is flawless. Ive had dental procedures, both elective and non-electric (i.e. cosmetic) and his work has been impeccable. I recommend him to all my friends, family and co-workers. A+++++++ recommendation!

Im cavity-prone because of my genes, not my flossing habits, so Ive been seeing dentists ever since I was seven. Ive never been uncomfortable in the dental chair, except when a dentist is overselling me on an aggressive procedure I dont even need. I have to admit that I was reluctant to visit Dr. Goodman, who happens to be a marketing client of mine, due to the Beverly Hills zip code. But when I finally agreed to schedule an appointment, I was blown away. He arranged personally for Dr. Kim to clean my teeth. I dont know any dental practices which show such great care and humility, with a doctor taking the time to perform a routine cleaning.When Dr. Goodman inspected my digital x-rays and my bite, I was pleasantly surprised at his conservative diagnosis; informative and not overbearing. He paid compliments to the things other dentists did right to my teeth, and also gave realistic timelines for the potential problems I faced.In short, I personally recommend Joseph Goodman DDS, DMD because he is approachable, gentle, conservative, and talented at his profession. You are scarce to find a gentlemen of his caliber.

This is the best Dental Office! They are all about patient care and professionalism. The work is top notch while the staff members are humble and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr.Goodman to all my family and friends.My experiences with dentists has been pain and major suffering and neglect on my lower left molar.My last dentist did not want to help me or was unable to, which had severe consequences for me and my health. I was in horrible pain and was prescribed pain killers for weeks. I had a hidden fracture and required immediate treatment which was a major relief just the day after I initiated treatment. Thankfully, I was referred to Dr.Ettessami and Dr Goodman. Dr. Goodman has been amazing and absolutely competent in his approach to my dilemma. By doing the opposite of what was asked from him, intentionally, Dr. Goodman created more work for himself hoping Ill come back to continue. Been in pain for 2 years with numerous attempts to resolve. Carefully planned on his part; cant be trusted. The doctor is obviously waiting for the statue of limitations to be over.

Veneers, veneers veneers.I am writing this review in behalf of my girlfriend who his a famous model and didnt want to post her pics.So she had her veneers done with Dr. Joseph Goodman and I have to admitt, I was actually against it in the beginning. She has a pretty smile and I never thought she was so selfconcious about her little gaps. Dr.Goodman was the only dentist who also told her that and gave her the option of the less expensive invisible braces. For that he deserves my fullest respect.Of course my girl didnt want to wait 9 months, everything has to be perfect and everthing has to be now, especially since she is competing with all these supermodels who have an A1+ smile.The process was easier than I thought. Of course Dr. Goodman said dont floss while you have temporaries on and of course she flossed the first night, loosening one of the back veneers. She was too embarrassed to call him so I called his emergency number and we arranged to meet at 10 pm that night back in his office again for a second time. Kinda commical to be the only patient at night in a dental office.It worked out great. Once the veneers are on, you can pretty much what ever you like, Just dont open a bottle of beer with the teeth, he joked.My girlfriend has now enjoyed her veneers for the past 3 months and she is verry happy, and thats all that matters.
