Ive had the pleasure of visiting the Saban Theatre for multiple concerts. My most recent visit was for an E-40, Too $hort, and Mack 10 concert. Easy to get to big enough to accommodate a nice size crowd, however, not too big in that you are unable to enjoy the show if you do not have front row seats. The facility itself is a bit dated, however, it has everything it needs for concertgoers to enjoy a night out.

The sound is fantastic and the venue is not too big so anywhere you sit will be a good view and will sound great. The bar outside needs to up its game a little. Get some higher quality scotch and stuff. The theatre is getting old so it helps if they renovated parts of it especially the entrance and the bar area.

Another of the many Art Deco theaters we are lucky to have here in Los Angeles. Thank goodness people fought the developers to save them and rehabilitate. They have upgraded the sound system and it is solid. Same problem at all these historic theaters. Not enough bathroom space, and the sound is better on the lower level, and toward the center. Just be aware and you will have a great time!

It’s impossible to find parking. There is a tiny lot across the street that charges ten. The general balcony seating makes economy on a airplane feel like a luxury. God it was so painful sitting . Unbelievable. And I guess air conditioning doesn’t exhaust either. I’m sweating everywhere. It Rick Springfield was incredible

Its a smaller more intimate setting for concerts. The decor I would say is very old Hollywood it reminds me of Pantages Theater in Hollywood only more ostentatious and gaudy. Theres definitely some signs of age in the structure and maybe not very well kept as paints start to peel off the ceiling.

Its a beautiful historic theater. Getting the crowd in and out wasnt a hassle and drinks were great. The staff were very helpful. My experience would have been 5 star had it not been for the parking situation. There is no parking with direct access to the theater. My SUV was too long for the $12 parking right across the street so I was advised to try another $14 parking lot which was able to fit my car. The walk from these parking lots to the theater is not bad at all if its not raining but allow yourself an additional 10-15 min to park.

It was incredibly hot in the balcony area. There was no AC in that section and with so many people it was ridiculously hot. Everyone was sweating and fanning themselves. The sound system is horrible. You could not make out a lot of the songs being played because the sound was so bad. All you could hear was bass. You could not hear the artists voice clearly it was just all bad. I will be contacting them to try and get a refund and I will never be going back there.

This year I purchased the distinguished speakers series. its the first time Ive ever purchased it and I do really like it. Looking forward to the rest of the series. The theater is nice but honestly for being in Beverly hills its a bit rundown. Paint is flaking off of the walls and it just looks like its kind of falling apart. I would think that being in Beverly hills, they could definitely do some touch-ups and make it look a little bit better.

A really excellent venue for live music.A lovely art deco movie palace, with good sound & comfortable seats. Fully stocked bar, better than most; good line of sight seatingon the ground floor & front balcony, I dontknow about the really high rows, they wereway up there. Too steep for me! (The ladies room on the mezzanine level is larger thanexpected, worth the climb.)There is a small restaurant/bar on the adjacent corner, I think its called The Hill& it is open (as far as I know) nights when there is a show. Always liked this place, decent food, good drinks.Lately moved to The Stinking Rose,a short block up La Cienega. Excellent food,(consistent) & a destination on its own.Fun, piano bar (a real one with stools)and fabulous decor. Be sure & walk thru thevarious rooms. Valet parking pricey buteasy.

Of all the gorgeous historical live music theater venues in LA, I have to say, The Saban seems to be the best in several areas. What I liked is the mom n pop feel shes got, but maybe because the lobby is quaint, tastefully decorated, but retaining its near 100yr charm. Especially noticeable in actual theater. Great lighting and light scaping too. I wish Id seen more ushers however finding my seat required one and it was busy. Gotta shout to the bartenders! Absolute pros.😊 Heavy hands and big character. Dont be surprised when you leave broke, but begging to do it again! Acoustics were way better than Ive heard almost anywhere!

Its a beautiful venue. The artists appear to find the theatre endearing. We havent enjoyed our past few concerts there. Maybe I just havent caught up to the new etiquette. I figure at a concert cheer, applaud, dance, and even sing along. But people yelling at the person sitting next to them in random conversation.... do not appreciate that. Cant people just be quiet and appreciate the show? And many people will take photographs with the flash on, or record in full screen brightness, or, worse yet, text or scroll Facebook during the performance. People get offended or belligerent when asked to stop talking or put their phone away. Security at the Saban did come to speak with folks about it, but were ultimately not helpful in deterring the behavior. Maybe the problem is that the Saban really encourages extensive alcohol consumption. Just about every show weve seen there the performers take a break. People come back even more inebriated and obnoxious. Also, the bathrooms are gross and sticky.

A really nice place to see a concert. Small and intimate. Even balcony seats are close enough that a video screen really isnt necessary. There isnt a dedicated parking lot or structure at the theatre, but there are several lots close by for a reasonable fee. Check the Saban website for locations of these lots. We paid $6, so it is very reasonable. But the lot we used (at the Starbucks on La Cienega two blocks from the theatre) is cash only, so make sure you have cash. There is no food concession inside the theatre, so its best to eat before you go in. There is a burger place next door, but I havent tried it. It is small and can get crowded on show nights. The Stinking Rose and Lawrys Prime Rib are a few blocks north on La Cienega if you want a nicer, more expensive meal than a burger. And theres a Subway just a few doors away from the Starbucks lot if you want to spend less.Drinks are available inside the theatre. On the whole, a terrific experience.

I attend shows at Saban regularly and it has always been a 5 star experience. Shows are great, Venue is amazing, staff is superb and acoustics sound wise are a 10. Two employees who come to mind and stand out, are Dana the GM and Trish at the Box Office. I had the unfortunate experience of buying a fake ticket for the Pat Benetar show from a 3rd party and Dana was resourceful enough to turn a deflating situation into a wonderful evening. He was my go to Michael Jordan in the clutch. Trish, always is multitasking and organizing various tasks, people and situations. She is super composed and handles everything with grace and class.Bottom Line, dont miss this Venue to see great artists and enjoy the cozy environment, and superstar staff, that will make your night a memorable experience.

Cool theatre. Decor is nice. Looked small from the outside but actually bigger inside. The parking is next street over but not too far of a walk. Theres also street parking but Id bet you have to get there early and scout for people leaving parking spots to get one. If youre looking for a landmark to find it, its right across a Bentley & Lamborghini dealership. It was not that easy to find if the navigation did not say weve arrived. 😂 They have bathrooms upstairs and surprisingly, they were bigger than most theatres its size. Overall, its a good venue.

Seems like Agape is starting to ask for more love offerings and to me it feels like church. They just want our money! I dont think Ill continue going anymore. Also, they moved to a location that charges $5 for parking. This is ridiculous! I wish they stayed at the original location. Seems they have a higher bill to pay here and now are hoping we give more. Its not right and doesnt feel right anymore. I will have to find another way to fellowship on Sundays. Definitely not here.

This is a old theatre on the edge of Beverly Hills. Architecturally it is very striking, in particular the main lobby and the theatre itself. I am not sure of the name of the style, but the detail is very meticulous. The facilities are nice, but the staff is not very proactive with making sure patrons are sitting in the seats they paid for. People were taking your seats even if you left to use the restroom and then didnt want to move when you asked them. For this reason I am only giving three stars.

Very cool venue for a concert. Interesting old style architecture, comfortable seating and an intimate feel even though it seats quite a few people.
