Hands down the best dog rescue in Southern California! I rescued a dog from Henrys Hope a couple of years ago and Teri and her team have been nothing but amazing! If you are looking to add a sweet pup to your family I cant think of a better place to start! And if you are looking to volunteer and spend some quality time with some some adorable pups, this is a great place to do it :)

Henrys Hope is a shining beacon in the rescue world. The dogs are so well loved and cared for before they adopt them out. Henrys Hope is like a team of miracle workers. I have two of their dogs...adopted 18 months apart. They are the most loving little creatures. Thank you, Henrys Hope!!

My experience with Henry’s Hope Foundation was most excellent from the start. I rescued Batman exactly one year ago, and Teri made it happen. I am a first time rescuer and she was there from the beginning literally walking me and Batman through it. Even after I brought him home she was there a phone call away checking up on both of us. Anytime I know of anyone who is looking to get a dog, I tell them to rescue and point them towards Henry’s Hope! There’s nothing more gratifying than the love and affection a rescue will give you for giving them a second chance.

So glad I found Henry’s Hope rescue. Not only did I adopt the most adorable, funny, loving little dog from them, I also became a fosterer for this organization because I admire and love what Teri does and all the dogs she saves. This group takes in many seriously ill and injured dogs that would not have had a second chance at life if it weren’t for Henry’s Hope. Once they take a dog into their rescue that dog gets the care it needs no matter the cost to make sure it’s as healthy and happy as it can be and is adopted in to the best home. Love them!!

It has been such a pleasure to volunteer with such a kind, thoughtful rescue group as Henry’s Hope.Teri, the founder goes above and beyond when it comes to pulling, vetting and placing the rescue pups. She has the biggest heart and loves unconditionally the doggies she saves and the people that support her. The best I’ve worked with in rescue!

We adopted little Sammy who is such a great addition to our family. We are so happy they spotted this dirty homeless pup who was abandoned. Henry’s Hope goes the extra mile to help and rescue as many pups as they can from high kill shelters and those who are left on the streets. We decided to make this one of our charities every year to donate to. I witness day-to-day and how Teri, Barbie and other volunteers work tirelessly to care and nurture pups back to health and hope to trust humans again. It’s not easy work and I appreciate all you do.

We adopted our pet pup Sammy (formerly Olivia) from Henrys Hope earlier this year and Ill tell you these are some special people running the foundation. Teri was unbelievable to us and takes such good care of the animals and ensures they head to loving home. Thank you!

I can’t say enough good things about Teri and Henry’s Hope. Teri is the most dedicated person I have ever known and I have had pets my whole life. Ocho and Molly are my two beautiful rescues for two years! Molly had a medical issue (after a year and a half of adoption) and Teri went above and beyond to help me. She is AMAZING!

Thanks to Teri and Henrys Hope, I have the daughter I never dreamed Id have. My 28 year old son is actually jealous of his little stepsister Abby, the sweetest Terrier Mix I adopted last year through this exemplary rescue organization. I am a shelter volunteer at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter and I am also the President of Dream Team Angels Rescue. I have worked alongside Henrys Hope Foundation for many years, rescuing dogs. They have always worked so hard to rescue the medical dogs, the ones that do not get adopted or rescued. They take on medical dogs and also aggressive dogs that need training. In every experience with them, they have always been so responsive, kind, and willing to work with me and others. I appreciate what HHF does for the shelter dogs and how they also treat the humans who are part of rescue.
