The service is as personal as it gets--usually its just the owner, sometimes there has been a very experienced person when he is not in. Hes very reasonable in prices, a place to trust with your typewriter. If he says it cant be fixed, likely it cant. Hes not there to sell you on new though he does have a few models he trusts for sale.A great place to take your IBM Selectric, Selectric II, or Selectric III ! Also any manual you want to have tuned up, and yes, you can buy typewriter ribbons here!

Excellent place to get your old manual typewriters repaired. They take time to explain how to do things and gave me a rundown of some of the models to look for since I started collecting the antique typewriters. Only negative is you should call ahead since they seem to be semi retired and the office hours are minimal.
