I am so blessed to have found Judi. After a year of treatment I can honestly say that my life has totally changed. My behavior was pretty much out of control when I started treatment with Judi. I walked around so angry all the time, other than when I stayrd in bed due to being so depressed. I couldnt keep a job or a relationship. Skip forward 1 year and I am now in a healthy relationship. I have a job. I am no longer ashamed of how I behave. I am amazed that I am now the person I wanted to be. Judi helped me get there. It was hard work but she was by my side throughout my journey. Thank you form the bottom of my heart.
She admitted she couldnt be objective about my distant past despite the help I need today. Being open and honest will lead her to judge you. Its very unprofessional of her to draw an arbitrary line in the sand when you come to her desperate for help and she only focuses on just one aspect about your past, which she knows very little about. All human beings should deserve an equal right to treatment. A psychological practice should not turn away those desperate for help when they come in openly, honestly, and with a willingness to improve and learn. She should advertise up front very specifically what her biases are so you dont waste your time and intake fee ($320 for 45 minutes NOT well spent!). She then offered to refer me to others who, in her words, wouldnt react as I would. I declined, telling her I couldnt trust her any more, not even for a referral. Dr. Judi Sprei is personally and professionally biased! Dont open up to her. Dont trust her. Dont waste your time with her.
