I went on a Saturday for my regular mammogram and my experience was overwhelming pleasant. I was greeted from the front desk with a friendly staffer. My technician was outstanding.

One day before I went to the Bethesda location for a X ray, called scheduling and was told I did not need an appointment. I got there and the first thing 2 ladies asked me was if I had an appointment. When I said no, they both made an ugly face. When one the lady called me to get my information and I told her my last name, she and her colleague started laughing about it which I found very rude, no matter how weird it sounds. I had to wait for a good 30 minutes to have it done.

I walked in for an x-ray at 10:00. While giving my information, I mentioned I was returning the next day for a bone scan. Fyrna, the lady at the desk, said she could check to see if they had a last minute opening, and all the stars aligned. I had a helpful technician named Simi (forgive me if I mispelled anyones name). My experience was quite pleasant.I believe some of the confusion is from the ordering system. My doctor sent the orders 3 days prior to my walk-in, and even though I called and verified the orders were received, when I arrived, one order was not in the system. Fyrna called my doctor and it was confirmed that my order was sent, so the system might have some delivery issues... just my thoughts.

Because they dont make appointments for X Rays, I arrived at 8:10 am. I was done by 8:40 am and my PCP received the results of my chest X Ray by end morning. I had the feeling that everybody was smiling behind their masks. Very good experience!

Really unfriendly office staff. Every time I went there I was turned away by the front office staff (the Asian lady). One time they refused to do my son’s X-Ray because they were about to close. Even though I got there 15 mins before the closing time. Today they told me that I should leave as there is a 3 hour wait to get an X-Ray done after making me wait for 20 mins. Go to Community Radiology on the 6th floor instead. They were super fast and nice!

My doctor gave me a referral to Washington Radiology for a chest X-ray. I called for an appointment but was told they dont give appointments for that, and said I just had to show up. When I asked about the wait, they would not tell me. So I got there at ~9AM, and was told the wait was at least 1 1/2 hours. I was told I could come back anytime between 8:30 and 4, so I came back within that time frame, and was told they actually shut down their machines at 3:45.I do not understand their refusal to make appointments for this service, to tell people who call if there is a wait, and to expect people to wait for hours in a packed waiting room during a pandemic.

Very unprofessional. Given a call back for additional imaging with no explanation as to why. When I asked for an explanation, I was transferred to MERCEDES who barely answered my questions. I said I thought they should tell patients why they are being asked to return and what the procedure would be before scheduling. She said you can talk to the manager and hung up.

I had a wonderful experience at Washington Radiology Bethesda (as I had for the past several years). The person at the front desk was very helpful by contacting my doctor and getting my prescription on the phone. The doctor and all the other professionals were very kind, thoughtful, and friendly. I would recommend them.

I went to Washington Radiology this morning with my disable son because he needed an X-ray.Everyone from the reception to the radiology tech were so nice and welcoming.Our tech Simi was patient and calm and very kind.Very good experience

Called to get some information before making an appointment. The office staff was very rude. I cant imagine why anyone would come there after talking to the first point of contact for this location.

Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive about my visit today due to some of the horrible reviews here, but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. All the staff were friendly and kind, even arranging to get me in for my ultrasound early, as I was in significant discomfort. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend this radiology office.

Every single visit I have to interacte with Mirna (Asian woman) at the front desk, and she is not welcoming or kind (maybe once a year for 3 years). At todays visit, I came in, stood at the desk patiently waiting to be helped. With 3 receptionist at the desk, none of them acknowledge that Im standing there. Mirna looks at me and continues to sit there (not typing or reviewing documents). She then proceeds to acknowledge someone else who walks up behind me, then after 15 seconds tells me to sign in. The sign in sheet is not located on the desk in front of the entrance door. Its on the side, blocked by high counters, easy to miss. I know its not just me cause Ive seen her & another lady ignore others (including others not knowing where to sign in or that the expectation is to sign in upon entry). My hope is that there can be customer service training. It takes 5 seconds to say with a smile hello, would you be able to sign in over here, please have a seat and will call you up? A sign with an arrow would help as well.

I accidentally came in a week early for my appointment and the sweet woman in reception fit me in right away. The woman who did my test was also very kind, explained everything and asked me lots of questions which I always appreciate from a medical professional.

The process for the bone density was fine, there was about 40 minute wait. What really was upsetting was two weeks later, I went to my Dr’s office for a follow up and my results were never sent to my Drs at the Rheumatoid Arthritis office. I also requested for a copy to be mailed to my house...never received it. It’s sometimes very frustrating when medical facilities are unable to follow through and complete the task that is being waited on by their patients, just very frustrating.

If I only give 0 stars I would! The assistant was very rude! Unprofessional I think as a women her self she should show a little sympathy to patients since Im in the health profession I know how patient feel about appointment she was just rude and heartless probably in a wrong profession They didnt even know which Dr referred me to this office, its scary i had to correct which from which Dr. I was referred to this office! I only saw the reviews before I wont have come here very bad experience this was the last time I, unfortunately, dont remember the rude assistants name!!

I had an xray done at WRA and the radiologist wanted to compare it to old films. Which I obtained and dropped off. A week later no update had been reported. When I called the woman answering the phone was not particularly interested in really figuring out what my concern was. I finally got my point across. Then I was put on hold for a while. When someone got back to me it appears they cannot find the films I dropped off. What kind of business is this????

Nurse was rude and racist. The staff in WR Chevy Chase branch are much more professional and respectful. I would not recommend anyone visiting this branch!

Stay away from this location. The Virginia office in Fairfax is my usual office but due to an alarming condition, I took the first available.I followed instructions and did not empty my bladder for two hours before the ultrasound. I started alerting the front desk 2-1/4 hours of holding my bladder that there was going to be an issue. It is now 2 hours and 50 minutes and the tech said - just tell her to hold it.I WILL NEVER COME BACK. The front desk did what they could but the technician is very unprofessional.

Awful!! I wish I could give 0 stars. I went online last week to schedule an appointment, and I havent heard back yet. I called three times thereafter and was left on hold. I just contacted my gyn to ask for a slip to be seen at another center. This is ridiculous!!

Too much waiting time. I was waiting for more than 30 mins and finally I left without being called. I have no idea what they were doing?I wont go there again for my radiology job.

I arrived early for my appointment and was seen early as well. The technicians were informative and helpful.

It took four phone calls to track down my DEXA results. First, they claimed they MAILED the results (!). Then when my doctor called, they said I had never been there! I’m still waiting to hear the results of my scan.

Terrible. Always running late. Not apologetic
