John and the rest of the Mid-Atlantic employees did an amazing job sealing up our front porch with concrete after a ground hog started making a den underneath. They promptly addressed any concerns we had and performed the work we wanted to prevent further animal incursions. I would definitely use them again, if needed.

Although I did not end up using their service, I much appreciated John’s candid advice when I called to seek help with a squirrel-in-chimney issue in my home. He listened patiently to the problem, and suggested me to go to a chimney company as the best solution. I appreciate the fact that he did not try to push business on me, but professionally provided advice that was, in fact, the best way to go. If I were to have wildlife control needs in the future, I will 100% go through this company.

I wanted to say Thank you to John for sending out the crew who removed the Raccoons from our attic in Potomac Md last week. The Raccoons had torn open my gable vents and destroyed my attic while my wife and I were in Europe for a week. I called 4 different pest control companies and they all referred me to Mid Atlantic Wildlife Control in Bethesda. I felt if 4 companies trusted him that much that they each told me to call them and ask for help to resolve the issue than we would be in good hands. The experience from the start was incredible when I called at 8PM to leave a message and the phone was answered by John the owner who spent an hour on the phone explaining the whole process with me. I told him about what we were hearing and insulation laying on the ground under our gable vent and he knew immediately what the issue was. The crew came out the next morning and mounted these exit doors around the roof to remove the critters and keep them out. The seal up crews returned in a week and sealed the holes to keep the raccoons permanently. I was so impressed by the technicians who worked on my home from wearing boot covers to protect my floors to making sure that the insulation the Raccoons pulled out was cleaned up. I will tell anyone who asks that this company went above and beyond my expectations for a truly great experience. I would highly recommend their services.

I had to post this review after my experience with this company and I must say they exceeded my expectations. The reason why I called them was my home had a terrible Flying squirrel problem that another company was nervous about taking on the project. My husband called a pest control company that said they sent all their wildlife calls to Mid Atlantic Wildlife Control in Bethesda Md to handle for them. The call was answered by John and he spent 30 minutes on the phone explaining the whole process of how to deal with Flying squirrels in attics in Bethesda Md. He sent out a technician to inspect the attic and roofline to find out how the Squirrels were getting in to the house. My husband and I were so relieved that we called John since they found the problems in 10 minutes of looking at the roof top area. They found my home needed aluminum roof edging that the builder never installed when they replaced the roofing even though we paid for it. The pest control company that first came out never even went up on the roof to inspect for holes. Mid Atlantic Wildlife Control not only inspected my attic but also checked the entire roof area and quickly discovered the issue. The carpenter they sent out was fantastic and he made custom aluminum roof metal covers to seal out the Squirrels and keep them out for good. They left an escape door in place for 2 weeks before returning to remove it and seal the hole to finish the project. I must say they are without any doubt the most professional and competent service provider my husband and I have ever worked with. I would highly recommend John at Mid Atlantic Wildlife Control for any pest control in Bethesda.

John handled my call quickly, however, the situation was handled horribly. The tech came out to remove birds from our second story vent because they were causing bird mites to enter our bedroom. He used a stick with nails on it to pull the nesting out of the vent; they charge a fee for the techs to set up their very fancy equipment. There are still birds in the vent, no surprise there, and after calling a separate company, we find they are even harder to remove now that the nest is gone because they retreat further into the vent. After wasting $335 dollars and getting zero relief, we now have to call, and PAY, another company who tells us this is typical of MidAtlantic and knew it was them before I even told him the name of the company. Needless to say we are not happy and we still have birds and bird mites. The photos are of the amount of nesting and a dead bird that the other company pulled out this morning so, as you can see, MidAtlantic didnt do anything at all.

I spoke to John a couple months ago and he told me to email him the job information. I have called and left multiple messages with no response in regards to 2 separate jobs. The owner of the property (my client) also called, and when he answered he said he would call back about scheduling. She also has tried to call and left messages with no response.

Mid Atlantic Wildlife is awesome!. I called them for raccoons in my attic and John was so helpful. His crew came out within two days. Any questions I had they answered with no problem. Raccoon problems please call them. Thanks again guys !!!

I cant say enough good things about Mid Atlantic Wildlife and the crew that came to my home. I have had flying squirrels in my attic for years and several pest control companies have tried to remove them unsuccessfully. I spoke to John the owner who sent out a technician named Joe to inspect my attic. Joe found I had flying squirrels in my attic that had been entering thru a loose piece of wood behind my gutters. I was so happy that it was a easy fix and it allowed me to have my attic insulation replaced at the same time. Mid Atlantic Wildlife removed all my insulation and installed new insulation for half of what the pest control company asked for. I just wanted to say thank you for a great job and I would recommend you to anyone who asks for critter removal in Bethesda.

I had a different wildlife control company come out to get rid of the squirrels in my attic and they butchered my roof and the squirrels kept getting in. The company installed a piece of chicken wire behind my gutter causing water damage to the interior ceiling and wall. Even tho the squirrels chewed in that area to begin with the guy cut the shingles on the edge of the roof which allowed the rain in. So I called John at Mid Atlantic Wildlife Control. He is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and had a carpenter that is also a wildlife control professional at my house that day. He was able to get the squirrels out and repair my roof so that it looked like nothing ever happened. These guys know what they are doing. Please dont make the same mistake I did and waist money on a company that does not know anything about squirrels or repairing a roof properly. I would give Mid Atlantic Wildlife Control 10 stars.

Very disappointed by Mid-Atlantic Wildlife Control. Last week, I had called John to schedule a bird removal. John informed me that a tech would be out between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. John gave me a call today (day of the appointment) to confirm that I still wanted his services to remove birds from my vent. I confirmed yes, and he told me that Matt would be by my house at 4:30pm. I waited until 5:30pm because I figured that the window of time was still in effect, despite having been told that Matt would be here at 4:30pm. I gave John a call at 5:30pm and left a voicemail. 6:00pm came around and still no technician. I called John 2 more times and texted, still no response. Interestingly, John has been very responsive prior. Because I thought Mid-Atlantic will still coming out, I stayed in the house when I had other errands that I could have run. In addition, I had waited all weekend for this appointment to come to remove the birds and clean my vent. The time that I spent waiting, I could have called and scheduled another company to do the job. I am very disappointed at the poor customer service in the sense that they had a lack of courtesy to call me and tell me that they would not be able to come out and reschedule--that is the least that you could have done. I am glad that I did not spend $250.00 here for this type of service. Please manage your schedule better and possibly look into hiring a main service dispatch agent (if you do not have one already) to intake customer calls, schedule appointments, and manage your technicians schedules.Update-5/16 to review: John gave me a call several times the next day to apologize and inform me of an incident that had occurred with his tech. I have increased my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. However, I have already scheduled with another provider.
