Talina is the best! Shes been my hair doctor for the past 3 years. Im extremely picky, before finding Talia I would go from place to place never seeing the same person more than twice. My 3 children love getting their cut by her. She is professional and good at what she does. I definitely recommend 1st Stop Barber Shop & Salon.

T is the best barber I have found in the area, and I have tried almost all barbers in the Bernalillo area as well as several in Albuquerque. It’s just how I want it every time. I have never had a problem with timing or unprofessional practices and I have been going here for over a year.

Horrible experience! Walked in on a Saturday afternoon ok I understand it was the weekend but nobody took my name down, then 2 hours later Telina the so called manager started to cut my hair and totally chopped it up horrible while she just flirted with me the whole time I think for a tip! I of course will never go back and make sure to send business elsewhere!

I met Telina three year ago. She is an amazing stylist. She not only cuts my hair, she cuts my three boys hair and cuts & colors my wifes hair. My middle child has anxiety about getting his hair cut because other barbers have gotten their clippers caught in his hair. Telina is the only person he trusts to cut his hair. Telina has always made it easy to get appointments around times we need. With her online appointment setting, it makes it easy to get an appointment so there is never a wait time! Prices are reasonable for her services and the shop has a great atmosphere that is family friendly. I cant say enough good things about Telina. Amazing Barber and stylist!

Telina is a great barber. She always answers her phone when I need to make an appointment. She remembers my cut every time I go in. Honestly shes probably the only girl Ill let cut my hair. Shes friendly and knows how to make a customer feel welcomed. Not just her but the other barbers as well are also very friendly. The shop is always clean, they play a variety of music, theres always good conversation going on, the barbers do great cuts, what more can you ask for!! Keep up the good work barbers... 👊🙏

Best haircut I’ve had in 5 years. Very detail oriented. Maximum effort to make the client happy. Took pictures of my haircut so he could reproduce the same results next time. Friendly atmosphere, and has a women’s stylist for my wife. I’m finally able to check off the box of finding a great, new barber near Placitas.

Nysh and Telina did a great job with my skin tight fade and beard and neck trim. This place is clean and they spent their time on me. Their pricing is standard and fair. Ill be back.

Telina is the best female Barber/Cosmo around. I have been getting my hair cut and treated by Telina for 5 years. I have extremely curly and ethnic hair .I only trust her when it comes to touching my hair. I am very picky about cutting my hair and Telina understands me when it comes to this.I never want too much taken off because I am growing it out and with curly hair when it drys it’s shorter. Telina always listens to what I want and need for my hair. She gives me exactly what I ask for. I also have received an anti frizz treatment from Telina which has allowed me to style and do my hair much easier. My hair looks and feels better than it ever has. I also take my boys to get their hair cut by her. They are always saying they need another haircut and can not wait to go back and see Telina. I truly appreciate Telina for always given her all to making me and my boys look and feel amazing. If you have not visited her yet, your missing out. You’ll definitely be thankful you did.

Great team of barbers, we drive from Santa Fe every other week. Best barbers around.

They said they open at 9AM so I went there around 9:05, the sign said be back at 10:00. So I waited in the parking lot until about 11:05. I was so upset at this point I started calling the business and there was no answer. I finally gave up and went somewhere else but this is super unprofessional.

Horrible service. Waited 2.5 hours to just leave Without a haircut because they were taking people out of turn. Barbershops are only supposed to be at limited capacity by law during COVID, but there were so many people crowded inside that there were people waiting outside for their turn. Will never go here again!
