We replaced four tires at our neighborhood Big O Tires. The man helping us was very professional and personable. He called us when our tires came in and calculated our bill correctly including remembering my husbands military discount. He appeared to be really be giving his all and was never rattled - as phones rang and more customers entered the store. Hes a keeper!

Jose was super customer service oriented. Was courteous and friendly even though when we arrived he was by himself and absolutely slammed. Will come back for sure. Hope Jose’s manager recognizes his efforts and enthusiasm.

Writing this review on behalf of a friend who went in today for tires and oil change on his truck. Was told this would take 45 mins, however he waited 4 hours for service and they only did the tires and forgot the oil change. The manager, Tyler, asked him if he wanted to wait longer, however 4 hours was too long to wait and they never apologized nor offered any type of discount or compensation. Worst experience on service ever. There were also other customers that were upset about their tires not being ordered or wrong order, several customers had walked out of the shop disappointed.

Jose went above and beyond for me. I brought tires in to have mounted on my rims the tires were 12 years old and he called me and told me he could not do it and then found some tires that were on promotion for my car. He did not have the tires at his store so he called another store he went and got them and had them put on the car. Great customer service I definitely recommend this particular Big O tires

Im so glad Big o tires is willing to help customers the only reason we found out bigger tires because Firestone was too arrogant to provide us with proper service its like you didnt care to have our business at Firestone we got tires wheel alignment and other parts that are front end needed just because they were a little bit more courteous we want those spending almost $1,000 that we needed to repair our car rather than just shoo us away era so thank you for say at Firestone for being so helpful

My tire hit a pothole on my way to an appointment. I googled and called around the area of Bernalillo tire shops to no avail. I called the suggested Big O location nearby. I was looking for a used tire that would last until I gathered the money for brand new tires.. John (installation area technician) offered to change the bad tire with the doughnut for no charge. He is very knowledgeable and customer friendly. He made helpful suggestions for when I am able to get the funds for new tires. Straightforward and honest is a very rare quality in customer service. Kudos and Thank You John 🙂👍🚘

Mr. Lopez greeted me upon arrival. He was a courteous professional. He listened to my concerns carefully. My tire pressure seemed to be low on drivers side. Oil change, tire rotation and inspection were needed. Lobby was clean and airy. The service fast, efficient and affordable. Dont let the busy intersection, congestion and/or construction to deter you from servicing your vehicle at this Big O Tire . You wont be disappointed!

Very disappointed at Manager, and the sales person that gave me a quote. Sales person gave me a quote for changing out shocks, coil springs, and a set of big o tires. I showed up to get service done on Saturday morning. The manager look at the quote and add another $400 bucks on top of the original quote for coil springs. I guess that $400 is going towards his laundry bill due to him getting up set for working on my truck and getting his golf shirt dirty. Very disappointed at Bernalillo Big O..

My first experience with this place since its transition to the Big-O brand seems a big improvement from before that change over. It seems more professional. My low tire was found not to be repairable and the damage was shown to me. The tech incorrectly stated that the existing tire was a run-flat and tried to convince me of this, but the manager quickly saw the error of this and dismissed this. They changed over to the spare for no charge. I ended up ordering tires that were not in stock, despite the cost being about a C-note higher than Discount tire as I wanted to support a locally owned franchise business over a chain. I scheduled a time to have the tires installed and went in only to find the tires had not arrived. I get it, sh*t happens sometimes, but a call wouldve saved me 30 minutes driving there and back. I went back later in the day when they informed me that the tires had come in. They were quick and didnt tell me I needed an alignment that I didnt, but there was a receiving glitch that cost me another half an hour after they attempted to ring me up. Once again, these things happen, but this doesnt indicate a well oiled machine. I hope these were isolated incidents and Im willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but time will tell if these are systematic issues and whether they deserve continued business. Supporting the local economy is of great value, but there are limits to what should be sacrificed for a higher social good.

My experience with Jose and Tyler was not good.. Its unfortunate. Jose didnt even have the decency to call me back to fix the situation. Almost 500 bucks later and it is running worse than it was when i took it in.

Big O has always been a reputable company. The guys at the Bernalillo store are top notch. Fernando, Steve, James all took very good care of us when we had to use the warranty on a set of tires we purchased May 2019. The tires wore faster than they should have and they were replaced without question. I will continue to buy from Big O and since I live in Placitas, this particular shop will be my main stop for any tire or alignment issues. Thank you !!

So I took my 2016 Chevy Silverado two times for the same issue, of a broken control arm. Had both replaced and was told the can’t do a alignment because of whatever reason (had the alignment done before same truck same wheels and tires). They replaced them, then failed to noticed the knuckle was stripped. So I returned it to get it fixed, still couldn’t align the vehicle. So I finally took it to another shop, since I wasted over 1,000.00 dollars for nothing to be fixed. I took it to 4x4 tires on southern Blvd for them to tell me the wrong control arms were placed and now it stripped the other knuckle. Now I have to pay even more out of pocket.After speaking to Fernando over the phone he informed me they did a vehicle inspection, even though they failed to see all these other flaws I brought to their attention. I was unable to drive a in safe vehicle to them as he wanted me to. So after asking for a refund, or the parts they installed he said no. Since I didn’t get it fixed with them, so they can more money out of me. He won’t refund me.Do not go to them

First trip to Big O today to see about getting a slow leak fixed.Was greeted by Jay who took my car in right away and within 20 minutes my tire was fixed.Had a pleasant conversation with Joe too.What can I say...I wasn’t even charged to fix the tire!!!This was my first trip and I guarantee it won’t be my last...I’m going to Big O !

I am very impressed with the service at Big O tires. I went to 2 places to find out what was wrong with the shaking in my daughters car when she turned corners. Big O was the only place that knew what was happening and did not charge me for the inspection like the other 2 places did & were clueless. Jay was very helpful and knowledgeable. I am now waiting for the part so they can fix the vehicle. I highly recommend Big O in Bernalillo and I plan to service all my cars there in the future.

Love these guys! They are always helpful and knowledgeable. Jess saved me a ton of money by suggesting some barely used tires over new ones that I couldn’t afford right now. Been going here for a long time because they aren’t just in it to take your money.

Rental car company put 60 psi in tires rated for 35 psi. After the warning light came on, Big O fixed the issue quickly and free of charge. We were able to continue on our vacation safely, and we are extremely grateful.

Joe and the other staff have gone above and beyond for me. I typically end up there an hour before closing to help me finish a job (like a front end rebuild i did and now I need an alignment) on my truck or another one of my vehicles. They always get it done promptly, the vehicles always leave better than they came in, and I would not hesitate to send anyone else there as a recommendation. Great job guys!

Great service better than any discount tire shop with a lot better prices no hassle shopping. Came here twice to have air put in the tire. They didnt treat me like o this guy just wants free air. They treat me like I was buying 1000 dollars worth in tires. Love this place. If I lived out of state I would come here for vacation just to get new tires.

We have used Big O Tires for over 5 years now. We started using them in Arizona and Colorado and now that we have moved here to New Mexico. We have always found them to be both fair and honest with us. Their pricing is very competitive and the quality of their work is wonderful. We highly recommend them for all your automotive needs.

RIP OFF!! Been going to Am Tire for yrs; decided to try Big O for routine maintenance since they take reservations. Charged me $45 for oil, $25 for labor; Am Tire last charged me $22.50 for oil, $11 for labor. Both were for synthetic oil. Thats OBCENE!!!

TOOK ADVANTAGE OF AN 83YR OLD MAN. My great uncle went in for an oil change and grease job. When he got home we took off the tires to change the break pads and found that nothing had been greased. We looked further and found out they hadnt changed the oil filter. They charged him full price for half a job.

Could’ve been killed on the way back home since the steering wheel turned to the right only half way through. They messed up with steering stabilizer and track bar. Didn’t give me a test result just saying wheel alignment is out of spec but no trace at all around the bolts. Seems to just waste $100 for nothing.

Ive been a customer of this particular Big-O for a few years. Im always satisfied with their high mileage oil changes. Theyre under new management and in the process of hiring, so the wait time was a little longer than usual.

The experience I had in Bernalillo was far and beyond any other tire shop experience I have had. The friendliness and helpful nature of the entire staff was uncommon and delightful. The knowledge of the product was shared without bias towards profit, rather towards suiting my personal needs. I was treated like family, though I had never met anyone of those folks. It was a hot, hot day. I had dogs in the car with me and was forced to make the trip to Big O due to an unfortunate accident. They made sure to address the dogs needs also, and were very fast and efficient. I will certainly be back, (hopefully not for awhile...just saying..., I hope no tires get accidentally destroyed anytime soon...but if they do, they are under an affordable quality warranty....). I would absolutely recommend this location to any human/ human with dog.... 100% Thank you!! A+

Was there 30 minutes ago, needed a tire fixed they told me the rim &tire were to old, that didnt make any sense just needed the valve replaced. I went to Garcia tires, got my tire fixed in less than 2 minutes.. dont recommend Big O tires desperate to sell tires and the lady there was rude..

I wanted to take the time to thank Joseph.... after explaining to him the situation with shaking of my car on the freeway he quickly diagnosed my problem and had me pull around back and was on my way in minutes!!! Amazing service. I had a slow leak in my tire and my ice chest wheels fell off, it was my birthday and I was in a rush as my kid was playing in a tournament. The guys were amazing and fixed both for me quickly. I was back on the road and made the games.

Great service. not sure what the post was about $36 to mount and $36 to balance. I got one flat tire replaced, paid $0 to mount and $12.50 to spin balance, very fair. Went back two days later to get other 3, same price. Very friendly, Richie and Gabe were great. My tire store for life now!

I had a blowout on the freeway, got the donut on and limped back to town. The Big O Tire store was about to close. The manager said, its ok, we will stay for you. We made a deal and he said, be here at 7 and we will get the tires on and do a front and back alignment. It should take about an hour and a half. He and the boys even helped find a place for the night. I was there at 7 sharp. I was out the door at 8! Never had service like that before! Thanks again guys!!
