My family and I were traveling from Texas to Nevada and noticed the brakes started to make noise and we noticed smoking coming from the rear of our vehicle. Truck battery died so I had it towed to Larry’s. So glad they were the closest repair shop. Alfred was very busy and the shop was supposed to be closed but he went above and beyond to help. Alfred at Larry’s service center has maintained my 2009 Ford Ranger almost exclusively for the last two years or more. My truck has 222,000 miles on it.He completely replaced the entire undercarriage, replaced the clutch system, the steering wheel, headlights, re-charged theAC, replaced the fan clutch, and performed other repairs. My truck runs like new and when it doesn’t, I take it to Larry’s. All my life I worked on my own cars, but because my Ranger is a modern vehicle, I decided to take it to someone who knows more than I do who I can trust. Alfred is one of the best or the best auto mechanic in town. I once took it to a AAA approved master mechanic who screwed up my truck and cost me a lot of money. Alfred straightened it out and got it fixed right. Importantly, Larry’s Service Center charges about 45-65 percent of what other shops charge who don’t know what they’re doing. Alfred knows it. He gets it right all the time.This is the only place I take my truck to. I plan on driving it another 225,000 miles easily.

We were traveling on U.S. 550 S north of Albuquerque NM in our 42 foot motor coach, pulling our car, when we became aware that our full width mud flap on the rear of the coach had torn in half, probably during a refueling stop in Durango CO. The left half of the flap was gone, but the right half was still attached by a u-bolt and dragging behind the coach. If it had broken loose it could have damaged the car. A quick search online for a repair facility turned up Larry’s and we headed for this service center. Alfred, Larry’s son dropped everything to determine the best way to remove the piece and quickly decided the fastest way was to cut the bolt using an oxyacetylene torch. He did that in short order and refused to accept any payment for his services. I would highly recommend these folks, Larry, Alfred and Carmen Cacaus, for your car and RV repairs!

Larrys service center did an amazing job on my passenger side mirror replacement. I called the day before the job and made an appointment but forgot the time. The day of the appointment, I dropped of my car two hours early during lunch time. Larrys service center was still able to take my car early and had the new mirror on within an hour. I am now back on the road and driving safe with a new mirror. If you need auto service, remember to shop local and stop in to the shop on main street. Thank you to Larrys service center!!!

I took my car to Larrys service center because I had some work done on my car at a different shop and it was not done right. Alfred checked out my car and replaced all the right parts and actually replaced the parts not just tell me he did and gave me a good price. Great experience, I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for service or repair on their vehicle! I was shocked by the cost the dealership wanted to charge for spark plug replacements and was referred to go to this shop. Alfred was great and did a great job! Not only did he replace my spark plugs, but he noticed some other issues that needed to be fixed and communicated these to me, and then worked on fixing those issues. I am very pleased with the service as well as the honesty and care of the employees!

The service at this shop is excellent! The mechanic was very friendly, personal, professional and did an exceptional job on my repair work. He made sure to show me the work that was being done beforehand, and discussed pricing with me before doing the work. The price he gave me was more than fair, and he even helped me shop a few different options for the least expensive parts that I needed. This shop goes above and beyond, And for that I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be coming here for any auto work in the future.

Took my wife’s Sequoia in. Could not for the life of me diagnose a vibration coming from the vehicle. I typically do the work on our vehicles, except when I’m stuck. These guys were professional and responsive and were able to figure out the issue. Their price was reasonable and fair. No bogus claims or attempts to take my money. Just honest, fair and quality work. I highly recommend this shop.

I do not trust many auto shops due to being an uneducated female when it comes to vehicles that has been screwed over many times in the past. HOWEVER, Larrys goes above and beyond! I had enough trust in him/them that I called for advice from miles and miles away just to get their opinion. They give fair prices and honest advice, which is very rare in the auto service industry in my opinion. I travel for work and only was in the area for a short time, but if I ever come back, Larrys is where I will take my vehicle needs again and would if I lived there. Didnt charge me a whole bunch extra when he noticed something else. And he didnt take advantage of the fact that Im not very knowledgeable. Definitely worth every penny, and kept it cheap. I take all my vehicles to Alfred hes has a knack for his profession. Hes the best in town and hes wont soak you like all of these mechanics.

Jalisco wasnt in, so I went to Larry because my boss was yelling at me to get to work. I told them that I had just purchased and replaced the battery, and it was the alternator. The spent time and labor, which they charged me to test the battery. In two days, the replaced the alternator. This morning, I was stranded on I25 as the alternator belt came off. Apparently, they didnt tighten the screws, and the mechanical vibration worked out the screws, and under the hood everything bounced around.I was charged over $450 for a mess which is going to cost me more money to fix. AVOID![The car broke down on 11/3, and it was towed to Larrys on 11/5 in the afternoon, it was returned the next morning. The entire repair job was botched up and caused me a dangerous situation on the Interstate that stranded me on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. The screws were not tightened, and the mechanical vibration snapped some screws, and some screws came out. Some screws had to be drilled out. This was a negligent job, and there is no way I would bring this vehicle back to Larrys. Yesterday morning, the alternator belt came off, the power steering fluid came undone, the radiator fluid sprayed everywhere, and I am extremely lucky that the engine didnt get hurt -- and luck I did not get into an accident].Alred, I do not trust you and will not trust you again. It cost me $320 to fix your mistake today, and the time off burnt my vacation time so I will be working over the holidays. Good riddance!How can they fix the issue? I paid $460 or so and lost a day and a half of vacation time. I was left stranded on I-25 in the cold without the ability to have my car towed, and the damage was the direct result of this repair. I had to pay $320 to fix the job with a reputable mechanic. The belt came off because the screws were not tightened. I lost 3 days of vacation time, and my car sounds like it has engine problems. The only way to fix the problem is to leave an honest review and WARN people about not only the expensive damage to their car but let them know they might be stranded like I was in the cold and incurring towing costs on top of trouble getting time off at work and having to drive in blizzard weather because my time off is gone! Ugh.... I HATE Larrys Service Center.

I recently had a roadtrip from Texas to California. I had scheduled a stay in Bernalillo along the way. Almost to ABQ, my car starts vibrating violently. We make it to the hotel. In the morning, we checked out the car and called Larry’s. Alfred checked out my car, and we agreed on the cause. Alfred ordered the part, and within a couple of hours my car was back to normal. Alfred offered me a ride to and from the hotel, checked my car over and checked my tire pressures, and worked hard to get us on the road before the shop closed! I can not thank or recommend Larry’s Service Center enough. 10/10

I was so pleased to find Alfred through the help of Bob at OReillys Auto Parts. Im driving a Chevy Duramax Diesel and got a bad batch of fuel while in Wichita Falls, Texas. One filter change in Lubbock and I thought I was good to go.. Turns out I let my tank get lower than half and when filling up in Bernallio my filter foulwed once again.Alfred showed up in less than 20 minutes, and discovered while changing my filter that the water sensor line was broken so he replaced that as well.He gave me excellent advice, was courteous and charged me a very fare price.I feel so lucky to have found him and can highly recommmend him

Hi, I was charged $700 for an alternator after my car was there for nearly a month. No one called me to communicate, why it was there so long, how long it was going to take or even how much it was going to be. Just got a call that it was ready one day and it was $700 for an alternator.
