Avoid at all cost!We called under the assumption that its a Berkeley-SF company, given the 510 area code. A service person arrived from the South Bay, where the company is located for real. The inflated commute charge was not discussed with us beforehand, but was billed to us. His manner was hurried, rude and patronizing. He complained that he would rather go to an office building and serve 10 printers at a time rather than go to our home and deal with one printer. The company advertised serving private homes and offices. On top of the driving time, we were charged $85 additional above the sum agreed upon when placing the service call. He was to install the printer so that it prints via USB and wi-fi with one current laptop. The installation lasted for the duration of his visit. It then stopped working shortly thereafter. He wouldnt allow us to do an independent check of it while he was in our home, using bullying language to intimidate us. We then found out that the high cost service was not warrantied. Were still disputing the inflated charge with American Express.Update: The owner sent me an apology - see below - but they wont send a technician to get the printer to work with my laptop through the wi fi net of our house, something for which I paid almost $200!
