I was a fool. I used to clean my own gutters, I used to get up on ladders and almost fall and all that...and I hate heights. Anyways, so we move to this new place and the house is really tall. So, like a dope, I ask handy men if they know anyone who cleans gutters. No one wants to come close to this job. So, my lady finally breaks my stones and tells me to get on google. I get on the google and found The Gutter Boys. Everything from the quote, to setting to the appointment to billing was sooooo easy. Im kicking myself that I didnt do this earlier. This company didnt give my mom the advance notice she specifically requested (5 minutes before you arrive is not advance notice), came when she wasnt home and destroyed her garden hose while they worked. Accidents happen, of course, but in my multiple discussions with them, they never, ever apologized, to me or to her, never said they wanted to make it right, nothing customer service-related at all. They simply flatly asked how much her replacement hose cost, and said they would take that cost off the bill. They said theyd email me the updated bill and they never did, even though I called them twice more to discuss getting it. They simply put the bill in the mail for the adjusted amount. I do not recommend this company.

They installed new gutters with the leaf guards. I called and set up an appointment for about 1-2 days later. The person came out, gave me lots of good information and the cost. It took him maybe half an hour to assess the current gutters and then write up the cost. He applied no pressure at all. The estimate included every single thing, so there were no surprises. Later that day we called to accept the order. I was contacted very soon after to set up an install date. Austin Casey was the lead on the project and he was one of the best workers we have ever had the pleasure of hiring. He and his partner were so kind. They were clean, quick (so quick), efficient, and kept me informed periodically about what they were doing. My 5 year old grandson made cookies for them and they gratefully ate them with a smile. The gutters look wonderful and although it has not yet rained, we expect they will work well. I would highly recommend The Gutter Boys.

Contacted this company for gutter cleaning based on online reviews. They gave me a 10 day window to come. No call, no show after the date they promised. I called and they said they’d put me on the ASAP list, which was fine. They came out two days later. Pulled in my driveway at 10:19, pulled out at 10:33. Checked the box for downspout flush, but didn’t access the water. No commentary on gutter condition. Left the bag of leaves and a $150 bill. You do the math on this one…

The techs did a great job on my gutters. They took pictures of their work and showed me a place where a branch was rubbing the shingles off my roof. I appreciate them taking the time to let me know and sending on that information so I can get that taken care of. Great experience, highly recommend.

Scheduled on their site, was in contact next day with a rep by phone to confirm service needs and details. They were upfront about the schedule being dependent on Ohio weather cooperation, but they came out very fast, performed the work and cleaned up. I didn’t have to be home which was great and they sent me a picture of a troublesome section of my gutters to show that it was cleaned and repaired! I observed the gutters during a recent storm and everything seems to be working perfectly! Very happy with the service by their team.

The guy that came out to reattach some of our gutters and downspouts was on his phone when I was telling him what the issues were. He clearly wasn’t paying attention since he missed some of the spots that needed attention and didn’t take care of the downspouts at all. He also overcharged us. Someone came out weeks later and fixed the first guys work, but we have yet to receive a corrected invoice. We keep getting calls and texts that our account is “way past due” but we’re obviously not going to pay until a corrected invoice is received. We’ve called multiple times to sort this out and are repeatedly told that the invoice would be corrected and resent to us. Still waiting…

Had Valor gutter guards installed.. quality is much higher than the one that runs TV ads all the time. All metal, no plastic (PVC).. A warranty is great, but who wants to call for broken guards (feedback from co-worker). And how would I know the plastic(PVC) broke without climbing a ladder, which is the whole point.Austin Casey did a great job.. professional, cleaned up everything, gave me a status update at the end. No more 28 ladder trying to reach a 32 off the ground gutter.

After reading all of the positive reviews, we paid the more expensive price and hired The Gutter Boys to replace the entire gutter system in our house. Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience. The crew they hired out for us was extremely unprofessional. They left trash in our streets (our neighbors came over to help clean it up). They left cigarette butts all over our yard and left parts of our old gutter system in our yard instead of disposing of it. We were also billed a higher price that was luckily corrected and deemed a clerical error. To make matters worst, the communication was poor all around. They still have not came back to pick up the old gutter trash despite leaving emails and calling. I am sure they are fine for gutter cleanings but this larger job performed was disappointing. I will not be using their services again.

They had no problems climbing to the tippy top of our tall Lakewood house to install, and they left our property spotless. My husband and I needed the gutters on our home cleaned and repaired and one section completely replaced. The sales rep who came out to meet with me for the free estimate, named Ryan Thomson, was super friendly and professional. We had already gotten a couple of other estimates from competitors and he was the first person to actually climb up on our roof and personally inspect the state of our gutters before recommending the type of work that needed to be done. I was impressed at how thorough and knowledgeable he was! He didnt try to push their most expensive products and the price we agreed upon was very reasonable. It took about a month before the repair team could come out to do the work because theyve been really busy (which is understandable), but once they got here they finished the job in no time! I spoke with one of their sales representatives about needing to have a section of the gutter rerouted to drain better on one of the houses that I own. He told me that they do not do repair work even though their header on Google said “Gutter repairs…” He also told me that they do not install less the 100 feet of gutter. I may have missed that on their web page but I did not see that statement. I find it odd that the sales person did not ask to see any pictures of what I was talking about. He did not know that I was a small growing company with 5 houses of which 2 others needed gutter work. He did not know that I may have been interested in their Valor Gutter Guard system for all my houses. I would caution doing business with a company that seems so busy that they are not interested in exploring what needs you may have. If they don’t do a good job assessing the situation how thorough do you think they will be on the job? I have to say that he was courteous.

The Gutter Boys sub-contracted my gutter installation without my permission. The guys that did my installation drove vehicles advertising patio remodeling and another gutter company. They left the house a mess after installation with mud and shingle debris dripping down the siding, windows and garage. When I called and spoke with a manager after installation, he admitted they subcontract installations sometimes. I was offered a free power wash, which I declined because I had already spent the time cleaning up the mess myself. I had some concerns with the slope of the gutters after installation, and a crew came out 2 weeks after installation to review my concerns. They determined the slope looked ok, then pointed out other things the subcontractors did incorrectly during installation. This entire experience has left me frustrated and disappointed. After getting numerous estimates, I looked beyond the price and put extensive thought and research into choosing a company I felt comfortable with. I would not recommend The Gutter Boys to anyone looking for installation. This company violates consumer trust and uses unethical business practices by subcontracting installations without customer knowledge or permission.

The salesman came for an estimate, no pressure at all to purchase. I was given options to fit my budget and we developed a plan to best fit the budget and application. Installers phoned ahead and arrived promptly, performing the gutter cleaning, a few reinforcemen s and even destroyed a few wasp nests.They completed the job in less than two hours, cleaned up and gave me instructions and suggestions for optimal use. Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend them.
