We went for a passport appointment for our new born and the staff in the counter was pleasant and welcoming. He took baby’s photo and processed the things quickly. All the negative reviews here seems to be related with the mail delivery, not the service in the Office
Looking at the negative reviews and my recent experience with USPS, I felt they absolutely deserve zero rating. I relocated to different state and before moving I shipped five baggages through USPS, which weighs around 50lbs each. It’s been more than three weeks and I’m still struggling to know where my packages are. Customer service is so rude and they simply told they can’t locate my shipment and go ahead and file a claim. They’re very irresponsible in handling the customer packages and their tracking system is TERRIBLE. I lost all my items and end up purchasing new stuff. I would NEVER EVER USE USPS again.
Our mail is delivered any time between 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the evening. The one day they show up early ( before 11:30 a.m.) it is tax day and I miss getting my returns in the mail. Please, be consistent and deliver between 12:00 and 1:00 every day. No one likes to get their mail delivered or picked up after 6:00 pm. We still have to deliver incorrectly delivered mail to our neighbors and they do the same for us. We actually received two peoples stimulus checks in our mail box that lived no where close to us. We know you are trying, but please be consistent in the mail delivery time.
Everyone is very polite, very friendly, and always going out of their way to help in any way they can. Excellent service.
Where do I start? I look forward to coming in the post office. Every single time I go in there I feel like they know who I am. I love the options of stamps that I get to choose from and the team up front helping are my kind of people. They have a great selection of “hallmark” cards to choose from as well. Way to go guys.

No way to reach live rep. the local phone # gives you automated voice for 2 minutes before transferring you to live representative where you will be transferred to a busy dial tone, Which will then auto-end the call.Below 1 star customer service
There is no clear way to call this local location and get a real living representative to speak to. Best advice is to avoid USPS as a service at all costs.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. By far the absolute WORST customer service I’ve ever had. The only person that has a good attitude is our regular mail carrier Alex. All the others have horrible attitudes and do not help in the slightest bit. If you can do business elsewhere, I highly recommend it.
Fantastic customer service. Immediately after we entered, the guy manning counter 4, called us in, as my wife was carrying the baby. He checked our docs, made my baby feel comfortable while clicking photographs for passport application and was very courteous & helpful. God bless the counter 4 guy(missed to ask his name), who is a dad of 5 kids for being nice and completing all the formalities super fast. Thank you

Going to review the actual location, compared to mail carriers or the USPS as a whole like other reviews.This post office is a very nice building. Very large and modern feeling. The layout is also very easy to figure out if you’ve never been in. Take advantage of the self service when you first walk in if you’re able to. I’ve used the kiosk a handful of times and usually in and out in only a few minutes.The three star rating is because the staff and the wait. There’s usually a very long line and slow service. Some of the staff is extremely professional, responsive, and polite. While a few others are very cold and short with you. So depending on who you get, will drastically change your experience.Overall, other than some poor customer service, I enjoy going to the building and I’ve always been taken care of.
Mail doesnt get picked up promises broken. In the past few months our company has had increasing issues with our postal service. Sometimes our mail gets picked up sometimes it doesnt. Times are irregular if not eractic. After our mail has not been delivered or picked up for a week I call the post office and explain the situation. I was told they would have a mailman come pick up our mail that day. I come to work this morning and our mail is still sitting in our box. If our mail isnt getting picked up that means our accounts receivables isnt being delivered, our bills are not being delivered and our customer base is not getting the quality they deserve. That time honored tradition of the Postal service Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds doesnt apply here. Very disappointing in that this is even an issue.
I wish there was a negative star rating.I moved. I had my new address confirmed by the 9-1-1 administration and three local post offices. The Bentonville post master confirmed that they would service the new address with a 72712 zip code.I did everything right and everything the post office asked of me. Jumped they all of the hoops to get the new address done the right way.1 week in the mail carrier knocks on the door and says she won’t deliver my mail because it’s an Extension of her route. She delivers to all of my neighbors!Mail has been trapped, lost, undeliverable for 2 weeks and now they are trying to change my address despite all of my neighbors having a Bentonville address.Complete disappointment. Very, very bad experience. Still wondering where all of my mail is.
Absolutely not acceptable mail delivery. As a business, reliable mail pickup and delivery is an essential part of our day to day. The last few months our mail delivery has been erratic at best, but now our mail hasnt been picked up or delivered for 5 Days in a row. Unreliable mail service hurts small businesses. We depend on getting our parcels out in a timely fashion, and when bills are falling dangerously late because the Mail carrier didnt feel like stopping by not only speaks against the motto of the post office I called the post office and spoke to a woman who was kind and understanding and promised we would have our mail picked up that night. Well the next morning while checking out mail Our mail was still in the mailbox. If this keeps up I will start taking our mail elsewhere.
The office is slow moving with lack of efficiency to handle minor transactions. I walked in to turn in some packages quickly at 5:59 and was told they were closed when all I needed to do was drop them off and receive a receipt.they were pre labeled ready to drop so it would have taken. Less than 1 min. I explained this to the lady and she refused very selfishly and rudely. Honestly I wouldn’t rely on them ever I now see how the post office loses millions of packages a year and billions of dollars in tax payer money when they staff the most incompetent people. Lady was elder in her late 50s with glasses. Not very customer friendly at all.
Terrible service. Packages are routinely marked as Delivered when they are still in possession of the post office. Packages are routinely placed in the wrong mailbox as well. How hard is it to provide decent service? Tracking shows that they have had my package for a week. I’ve ordered other products online and gotten them. I still have not gotten my original package.
Ive lived many places where the local post office treats you as just another number. This office is different. The management listens to complaints, and acts. While I wish my mail service was as reliable as Fedex and UPS, its nice to have a human experience with an organization Ive normally seen as faceless.
This is directed more at the actual postal carrier than this specific office. I cant count how many lost, mis-delivered and delayed packages Ive had over the past 2 years. SO frustrating.
Arnel Peralta is the supervisor who was very rude because I told him I don’t have a tracking number because I used stamps. I ask for his name and he began yelling and calling me a liar and hung up the phone. I could not believe he’s the supervisor. I called back and made him spell his name because of his conduct and he continued talking over me. I’ve never experienced immature behavior like this before. USPS, I’m hoping you give background checks of your associates. Scary

Dont bother sending time sensitive items through USPS. If you actually want it delivered in any sort of timely fashion, go with UPS or FedEx. They deliver daily whereas USPS does not. Its almost like the drivers pick which days to actually show up. I live in an apartment complex with all of our mailboxes in one central location so it is more than obvious when the mailman decided not to come. And it goes beyond that. Ill see packages of mine travel over 1,500 miles in 24 hours, and the second it hits the Bentonville location, its held for 3+ days every time. I understand the difference between ground and air travel but sitting in the same spot for over half a week??? Thats unacceptable. Worst branch in the state if you want my opinion.
I wish the USPS would just be shut down, or absorbed by some company that can make it work properly. Multiple lost packages over the years, dozens of late packages over the years, and many, many damaged packages and parcels. Any time an online retailer uses USPS to ship my order, I immediately get nervous that Ill never see that thing and have to spend hours on the phone with customer service somewhere to get the issue resolved.
Would leave a 0 if I could. Absolutely angry. Telling peaceful, Pokemon Go players to leave because they are loitering when we would only be there for a short while, only long enough to do the raid (a few minutes), then move on. We werent blocking the sidewalk. We werent causing a scene. We literally were not doing any harm at all. You dont want us there? Then talk to Niantic to get the Gym removed.
This is a great post office. I have one closer to my home but I usually choose to go to this one. The main things I like here is the 24-hour service because they have a postal kiosk in the front lobby. I also like the great customer service at the counter. The clerks are friendly and diligent. They do a great job.
Everyone knows in general not to go to the post office for a good time. That being said, online it mentions they will do passports from 9-3 daily. Naturally I get there and it’s from 10-3 and appointments only. I’m sharing so you do not go here for a passport. The Benton County Administration building is the place to go! No line and very pleasant and helpful. I hope I help at least a few people with this review...
Rude when you have to call them about losing your mail or delivering your mail to others. Management needs management skills. Customer service needs to be taught to those who actually do answer the phones. I asked a question and was rudely given the website and immediately hung up on..rude!! Another thing is EVERY question I answered when calling Karen didnt seem to have an answer and she seemed irritated I was even asking.Basically they left a slip on my door for a tracked product (3 packages) but then later couldnt find them at all....
I needed to mail an item on Friday night... AND YES!!! This office stays opened until 6:00pm. I was able to meet my timeframe. No lines. Friendly and efficient staff. Got my item sent off.
Ive had okay experiences waiting in line for the retail counter, but hey.. who likes waiting in line?? I love their automated postal center for buying books of stamps or buying postage for large envelopes or small boxes. I only get unnerved when theres a line waiting for the machine. Overall a nice, modern, and clean post office.
Amazing customer service!!!! Always helpful and will go out of their way to help! They let me me come at 5am on a Saturday to pick up packages I had to have before traveling out of town!!!! Wish I could give 10 stars!

Its the post office. Theyre lines, get over it. I stop here often to mail all kinds of things for my business, other business, and personal. The folks at the counter are always courteous and respectful. Unlike several other postage places in town I never cringe going to the post office.
As US post offices go, this one is nearly as good as it gets. Friendly-ish staff. Fast-ish moving queues. And one of those mail it yourself kiosks. No true complaints here.
They work hard and efficiently. Busy place. Have your packages ready before you get to the counter, its not their job to wrap and tape them.
The people here have been very helpful and friendly to me. They have helped me find the correct zip code; theyve taped up my boxes. I am from out of town and theyve been friendly to me. I give the people here five stars.
If you want your package to actually track, do not deposit in the postage paid large package box that is available in the lobby. Packages are routinely not scanned at point of origin and thus end up lost. I have also noticed that packages are often not accepted/scanned for up to 24 hours after I have deposited them in the box during business hours. So it does not ship until the next day. I run an online business and this by far has been the worst USPS in dealing with these issues. Stand in line with your 18 boxes and make the agent hand scan them individually is the only work around.
I ordered a Po Box online, went in to get the keys and was told they did not have my information, fill out this other paper and come back in a few days. I returned, my information had been found, my address and ID was confirmed but the box would have to have a new lock put on so come back in a few days. I returned again to get the keys and was told that I would have to have the box number to pick the keys up because they did not have any of my information. I called to speak to a manager later and was told the Po Box woman wont be in for a few days to come in and check again later. When that woman did return I received a call saying that I would have to come in and identify my address again. I requested a refund today because there is no reason why this should be so difficult!
My postal carrier does not deliver my mail until after 6:00 pm after dark & sometimes doesnt even run my route on Saturday. I have had mail going out on a Saturday that was never picked up because she didnt run
Customer service was completely unhelpful. I called saying a package had the wrong address and tried to see if I could get it to the right address without it being sent back to the sender before coming back to me. The agent asked for my correct address and spent five minutes looking for the package- clearly it was addressed wrong that isnt how you will find it. She finally took the tracking number and was able to read what was on the screen, no more ... no help, just read what was on the screen. This is why I use UPS kids..

The usps literally does not deliver mail until 6:15 to 6:30 pm and does not get out of the ban to deliver packages- it may be busy or very cold- but I sat there and watched the driver NOT attempt to deliver an amazon package at all- then drive to next mailbox- the amazon order then said not deliverable- driveway blocked- an absolute lie as I was home with front door open- waiting for said package. Sadly, when contacting the usps- not one thing happens to employee and customers do not receive packages.... hmmmm- maybe Amazon should not partner with usps if people choose not to deliver packages.
Called the number online and on hold for a couple of hours. Was receiving mail for a short period of time. Now not getting mail at all. I know its a new address but come on really. Plus they have been writing address doesnt exist on the mail and sending it back.
Don’t expect to get your mail on the weekend. I have literally watched the weekend driver drive by and then I receive a notice that my packages were “non-deliverable”. Have had this problem before, complained and nothing improved. Two different people in line before me were there for the exact same reason. As far as the actual post office, never had a problem retrieving my packages. Other than, I shouldnt be there to retrieve them in the first place.
Not a very good experience. Was overcharged on postage and then told sorry all postage sales are final. They do have a kiosk which allows for after hours service which is nice. Sad to say the kiosk is better than the counter.
Post offices are not amazing places, literally ever, but I especially dont like this place because of the staff and how dirty this place is. I cant remember a single visit where there wasnt something on the floor or counters, or dust piling up in corners. I probably wouldnt care about it or notice it if I didnt have to spend so much time waiting in line. The staff is never friendly, there have been times where they have had some weird conversations in front of customers.
Arrived 15 minutes prior to opening yet employees engaged and asked if they could answer any questions. Female clerk was kind, quick and curtious!

Just moved here and I can see that the Postal carriers are lazy an don’t deliver your mail unless it’s convenient for them . I have to call the post office to get carrier to bring my package back out to my place after she drove by earlier and didn’t deliver it because it was raining. Cmon Man !!!!
This place is the absolute worst. Agents are rude. Phone is always off the hook so you cant call them. They never deliver your mail correctly. They say they attempted to deliver your package even though they didnt. I hate that I have to deal with this dump. So tempted to get a P.O box in centerton where the staff is nice. Good luck getting help here. How does this place have 5 stars with all these negative reviews??
This is by far the best post office that I have been to.
My son went to get a passport and was standing inline and the lady with glasses told him they were not doing it today. I called several times to see when they are doing them and the phone is busy. Thats the government for you.
Went in the middle of the workday, and shipping my package was very easy and quick. The lady who helped me was super friendly too!

My mail is delivered to the box right beside my door because I am disabled....this morning I put three out-going letters attached to the box in clear view and it was not picked up. I put it out there at 7:15 am, the mail usually runs around 11:30, its almost 6:00 pm and nothing! Since my mail has been delivered to my box beside my door (about two months), many days I dont get any mail at all and then I get it all at once after not getting it for a couple days at a time....I dont know whats going on, maybe there is a substitute driver? But I would like an answer and dont want my bills to be late.......................here we go again!!!! Two days in a row, and no mailman has picked up my mail. I understand its Christmas time, but he is not even stopping at all......one of my monthly bills have not even came to my house at all, and were almost past due, had to go to the store to pay them so it wouldnt be late......Been calling and calling the Post Office on the phone and its always busy, can never get ahold of them. Sick of this!

We have a mail carrier that has a horrible attitude every single time we see her. She will rarely come in when asked to pick up outgoing mail. When this was mentioned to her she rudely through our mail through our service window and spoke very harshly about the situation. She needs an attitude adjustment and a lesson on customer service and more importantly MANNERS!
This PO is decent, but the people behind the counter all act like government employees, which they are. Old, slow, and uncaring is pretty much the order of business here. That being said, I am a frequent ebayer and have used Post Offices in NYC and Little Rock regularly. This is right on par with those, or the DMV, for that matter.

Man, where do I begin. Almost every time I have gotten a package delivered through them they place it in a busted lock box, where maintenance has to come and get it out for me. They have delivered packages to the wrong mailbox, which then I have to call and try to get a hold of someone which seems almost impossible at times. As of right now I have a package that was delivered to a locked box, but they didnt leave the key...what the hell?

Takes forever
This facility couldnt even verify my late package was still on site. I called and asked for a call back but never received one. Basically its lost or stolen.. no way a small package lingers for almost a week! Its still in transit .... Yeah right.
