This is a great organization that I cant recommend highly enough for people looking to get a handle on their personal finance situation. They have free financial workshops and offer free budget and credit counseling. Unlike some of the shadier financial assistance organizations they are a non-profit with a stellar A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and are in it to actually help people out - not to make a buck by fleecing you.
