Jimmy is awesome and always honest with you. Exactly what youre looking for in a mechanic. Highly recommend!
I had a serpentine belt replaced on my old Corolla. In and out in quickly, fair and honest price. I couldnt want any better than that.
Jimmy has worked on several of our vehicles over the years, and has always been incredibly honest, and very fair priced. He is very up front about telling you if it is something he can not work on. And he is always very quick to get finished. I tell everyone to use him.
Called and asked how much it would cost to install 4 O2 sensors that I had bought. He said he wont install anyone elses parts. Not sure why. You still get paid labor. I certainly wont be giving him any of my work in the future.Answer to his question...No, but I had no Idea we were even talking about breakfast. How can you compare something you eat to service on a vehicle? You have a choice to make money or not. You chose not to and through that decision have lost all of my family and friends. I suppose cooking someone elses eggs might be beneficial if youre going to get paid in the process. Just my 2 cents.
Silly me, I cooked the motor in an old truck I had just bought. The water pump went bad but the temp gauge was showing normal, so I kept driving. Anyway, I had it towed to Jimmys and he analyzed for free. Very courteous AND empathetic. Also, his quote for labor for what I thought was wrong with the truck, broke timing chain, was about a quarter of that of one of his competitors.
Had another estimate from a reputable mechanic but chose Jimmys as he was originally cheaper. During repair he broke a part on my vehicle and attempted to charge full price for the labor and part to repair his mistake. Every question I asked him about the total repairs, How the part was broken and parts for the repair was answered with a dont know or a short answer making no sense with a scowl. He ended up charging me for 5 parts on my bill when he used only 4 parts on the vehicle. He may be popular to local yokels due to his prices to save a few bucks, or to fix an older vehicle, but one of the least honest persons and mechanics I have met under these circumstances and will piece mill the repair to his advantage,Positives-Jimmy fixes basic problems cheaper.Negatives- Jimmy lacks honest communications if any other problems happen during your repairs. Which in the end can be more expensive than other local mechanics
Jimmy is very knowledgeable and does a wonderful job on any car of all makes he knows his product very fair price
Best and most honest mechanic in town.
Jimmy can repair anything, he has been my mechanic for 15 years+ and I am a retired aircraft mechanic. Im picky.
