I walked into the post office at 4:27 PM and looked at the guy behind the counter. As I was walking up, apparently he or someone else pushed a button to shut the overhead door, signifying they were closing. I said out loud, “I need to pick up a couple of prescription medications that were waiting on me….please!” He just kept his head down and the door kept going down. I looked at my phone, again, to make sure I saw the correct time…it was just now 4:28. I know I was cutting it close, but I got there as soon as I could, driving from my office in NLR. The guy heard me, 100%, and chose to shut it down before closing time. The customer service has always been terrible at this Post Office, so I’m not totally surprised.
I know the postal service usually gets a bad wrap especially now during this pandemic but I can say first HAND that the staff at the Benton location are some of the best Ive dealt with in my 35+ years of adulthood. Bridgett and her crew have been a true God send in helping with a very important piece of mail I had thought to be lost in a recent move and change of address. She not only located the item but personally called me back and made arrangements for me to pick it up after normal hours on a Saturday! I cant Thank them enough.YALL ARE THE BEST!!
Why am I constantly receiving the wrong apartment numbers mail at the Greens at Longhill?? I get different apartment numbers mail all the time, so that means they are getting my mail and throwing it away. Please find someone that can read numbers. Please

Failed to deliver a 36 gallon holding tank because the mailbox was full? Good Lord, what would you have done to my mailbox if you didnt think it was too full!? Whatever happened to bringing oversized packages up to the house?
Failed to deliver because my address is incorrect according to them, except that I have packages delivered to me weekly with no problems ever...these people are either stupid or just plain lazy
Very helpful, friendly, and fast with processing my passport application! It is recommended to call ahead and make an appointment (which I did not do, but recommend to others). Regardless, they were able to get me help within just a few minutes! Thanks!
Every time I have called the post office number, its busy. Cant get a person on the phone. Package showed attempted delivery. I was home the whole time and have the ring app. No one showed up. Lost package. Why does no one EVER answer the phone and WHY is there always a BUSY signal? All the supplies in the lobby are always out, and the staff is so rude when you ask for something (bc its not stocked in the lobby to help myself). HOW OR WHO DO YOU COMPLAIN TO. I have lived in lots of other places, this is BY FAR the worse customer service ever. Seriously...dial the number. I bet ya money its a busy signal.
I walked in to the Post Office today and went to the self service to get some stamps. I realized I needed a pen and went to the counter where the to very lazy workers were standing neither one of them looked up at me to even give me the time of day I will never come back here again I will drive out of my way to find people that care about their jobs or their customers apparently they really dont give a ship about anyone just a pay check
I called today because my son has had an issue (for the past month) with getting his mailbox key for his apartment. I called and surprisingly, no busy signal, Melissa picked up and fixed the issue. I had great customer service from her. Why it takes a full moth to get a box rekeyed is beyond me, especially since the $30 fee was paid literally a month ago.
After having a delivery issue, Pamela called me each step of the way until the issue was resolved. She was very concerned and caring, and deserves 5 stars for her above and beyond customer service. Thank you Pamela and also the rest of your crew. 😊
My package was supposed to be delivered on a specific day and I have not received it. If you want to order something from a business online, DO NOT order anything from a place that does business with USPS.
This is by far the worst customer service experience that Ive ever had! Mr. Williams as he stated himself to be was reluctant to listen to my issue. I purchased something off of Amazon, but the post office delivered it to a different address. I was informed by three different people by the post office that my issue would be resolved, given a case number, and even was told that my package they initially lost was redeliverd to the correct address. Its been two weeks. I still have not received my package. No one has an answer as to why the things that I was told do not match their tracking system. The number is busy when I call if it even rings, but Mr. Williams was kind enough to inform me that since they are in fact a business I would experience said issue😂😂The government obviously hires ignorant and unprofessional people! Darnell was simply an employee, but still offered more assistance than the supervisor. Other employees even mentioned the fact that their supervisors do not perform their job duties as required. I am just going to cancel the order altogether &a request a refund. This whole process has just been ridiculous.
I ship often, sometimes from the Benton Post office. Amazingly, my shipments often get lost when shipped from there. In addition, I had an item scanned as delivered to me, when I never got it. I went there to see what was going on, and ironically, the customer in front of me was arguing the same issue. It was not hard to deduce what was going on!
Apparently I cant go less than 1 star. I tried to get help from this supervisor identifying himself as Mr. Williams. He was rude beyond description. His supercilious condescension was intolerable in itself. His smart mouth and demanding I change the quality of my voice was just way too much. I am not some ignorant mendicant begging for anything. I paid for a product and the post office lost it. Im just trying to find my property. If this is the caliber of the people who represent the USPS, I find it VERY easy to understand why its in the shape it is. This man is a disgrace! I cant begin to describe just how livid I am at this moment. I have yet to decide what else I will do to address this pathetic excuse for a supervisor, since the postmaster of this facility is impossible to reach, and I suspect this attempt at communication will be ignored in its entirety.
This place is literally cancer. 1hr wait time just to try to call them. they mishandle packages, and leave them at your door with no announcement. expected delivery time just had an extra day added when the package arrived here. a whole day because of this facility. very poor indeed. fixing to have to drive to the office just to make sure we dont lose 60 dollars worth of stuff.
They come anytime of day. They dont pick up my letters and they are rude. Handing me package addressed to my Mother saying have a wonderful evening. Then saying I know you were waiting for this. Winking and laughing. Why would I be waiting for a package addressed to my Mother? We get sometimes 4 packages a day addressed to her. He seems like a drug addict.our other mail man was kind and on time and would take my letters to mail.

This post office is the rudest ever!!! Rude employees and do NOT want to help you. I have yet to talk to the postmaster to whom I need to speak to. The supervisor, Anthony, is a total jerk and will not help. A package was delivered which was not mine and pulled up on my curb and busted 2 of my landscape timbers in my driveway. I have yet to get anywhere with this. I called and called and thr phone was always busy went up there twice the postmaster was on a conference call and talked to supervisor... no help. I have this on video for proof and nothing. I am so frustrated!!!!!
I had a delivery notification (email), yet no package on my doorstep as USPS tracking information indicated. I had been on vacation and placed a hold on my mail. I called the Benton Post Office and explained the situation. The lady placed me on hold for approximately 2-3 minutes. She returned and explained that the package was at the post office and that my carrier would be delivering it today. My matter was resolved in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
I have been trying to get my mail box for 2 weeks now. every time I call, either the phone is busy or someone picks up and answers and never says anything. Need to do a better job at customer service.
This place needs a major overhaul. Every time we have an issue, they do not help and have a terrible attitude. The lastest issue is that I have a package that the tracking number said it was delivered. I called the office and they kept me on hold until the office closed. I would be fired from any normal job with this type of customer service.
I have never had a problem with them not delivering something...It is only a 4 because the wait time is sometimes super long. Other times, I walk in and there is not a line at all. Its pure luck.The individuals Ive interacted with are always very polite and EXTREMELY helpful. When I was looking for stamps for my wedding invitations, the lady took out her options and straight up told me none of the ones she had were really wedding appropriate, but was able to tell me that the Bryant location had more of a selection, as well as online.They arent pushy with insurance or anything like that either...
This post office is completely unprofessional. I spent 80.00 on product to send out and 25.00 on postage. My father gave me the wrong address because he has alzheimers and gave me the incorrect address it got returned with postage due; 3 weeks after they tried to deliver it.I called during this time and they told me Well sir it always takes longer to get a package back when its returned I let that go and kinda understood. the package came back to me with postage due. I asked them why is there postage due and they said it was special handling to have it returned. I questioned this considering it was only a box. Then the post office manager lady told me its not her problem its yours when i told her i cant afford to pick it up then send it back out, and asked if there isnt anything they can do to help me get this resolved. No sir thats not our problem.... if we do help it is lost revenue for us. I even told them I was going to turn around and send the package back out priority with conformation. I will NEVER deal with this branch and maybe even with the post office.
Worst Post Office ever!! Terrible customer service and are only there for a paycheck, not to serve the community. Ive yet to speak to anyone who doesnt have a bad attitude or even willing to smile to the public.
Just called the post office regarding a check our company sent to a wrong PO Box (typo) and I talked to a sweet young lady, (sorry I didnt get her name) and the box was closed but she found the check in the return mail and was able to put it in the right box... Thank you so much!!!!
Usps claims my package wasnt dropped off will be going there tomorrow and submitting a police report avoid this place like the plague
This is the WORST post office Ive ever had to deal with! It was bad before, but now they have a new Postmaster & she seems to cover up for her carriers. Weve ordered things and I will be home & it will show up delivered yet its not here. This has been numerous times recently. Mt husband went up there a couple times & was told they would look into it. A week later & she stopped replying to emails & for several days I tried calling only to get a busy signal. I called Bryant PO to see if there was another # she said sorry no, but they get A LOT of calls/complaints abt the Benton PO. We reordered one item & yet AGAIN it said delivered... Nope not there. I went to the PO the next day & they tried saying it had the wrong address & was delivered to a Bryant address bc the Company put Bryant 72022. Thankfully we did get that package today & you can clearly see it said Benton, AR 72019 even though they tried to scribble over it. There were several other people making complaints ant the same issue when I went in. They need to come in & clean house at this Post Office because its a mess!!!!
This location cant seem to ever deliver a package correctly. If I had been given a choice, UPS would have been used. The usps suck and Im being generous saying that. Employees are rude at this location90% of the time.
This location has lost 3 packages in the last 8 weeks. One package was lost twice! Sometimes they deliver packages a day late even after the shipping information says it has been delivered. Its as if they scan it as delivered, but really not deliver it until the next day. I spoke with someone at the location and he said it showed to have been delivered to the wrong address, and I should contact Amazon and they will resend it. Which I did, but it was a Christmas present that was 2 weeks late. Very unreliable; you never know if you are going to get your stuff.
Are you kidding me? Im lost for words. Ive received my neighbors (different neighbors) mail 6 times this month. Ive order expensive packages and even though tracking says it arrived to my house it hasnt. That has happened twice in the past 3 months. This is a joke. When I call to speak with the manager the phone is busy. I am soooooooo mad right now.
I cant get my mail delivered! I ve lived in same house for 24 years and last November they started delivering wrong address to me, similar to mine but not mine. I went up there 5 times with the mail and pointed out what they were doing. Next thing I know they stopped delivering to me and my mails getting labeled, return to sender, no one at this address with no forwarding address on file.My bank and dentist that Ive used for over 30 years now just call me when they have mail for me to p/u.This place is terrible!
Learn to answer the phone. Worst post office I have ever experienced...... ANSWER THE PHONE! I called the post office 33 times in a 5 hour period. Not one single person answered the phone. Something needs to be done about this place. But when you call the Bryant Post Office they know how to pick up the phone instantly, never had a problem with Bryant.... But the Benton post office is horrible..
What’s the deal with this place, this is the third package I’ve had that says awaiting delivery scan?? Are the carriers stealing my packages or what? And when you go in to ask about the package they get an attitude?? Excuse me but shouldn’t someone be looking into who ever is supposed to be delivering these packages??
If I could give this location a negative 10 I would. I have asked numerous times about my mail not being delivered and packages lost, absolutely no response. Employees are not just rude, they are hostile to customers. I was in one day and witnessed an employee yell at a customer. If you can avoid this post office do so. Something is very wrong here. Far too many lost packages.
This Post Office is a complete joke. The phone number listed doesnt even work anymore. Our last mail carrier was a meth head and we complained about her for three years before she finally got fired. My packages either get destroyed or dont show up past out for delivery. I guess thats how they are stealing packages now. Now Ill have to drive to the PO in the morning and deal with these morons that dont care about their job.
No one is answering the phone. if someone sees this there is most likely a problem with you phone. it rings and rings and then connects, but there is no one on the line. I have called multiple times and still the same result.

This is the worst possible post office you can ever go to there is thieves inside the Postal Service because there is been two packages so far they have been stolen the first one was a gift card that was sent out for the holiday and just today there was a package delivered which was a phone for my grandmother and somebody had opened up the package took out the phone and then tried to reseal it. You will never be able to get a hold of the post office through phone because they never answer or you automatically get a busy tone. The management is completely unprofessional and very rude. No matter how many complaints come in about this post office nothing will ever be done about it. Youd be better off using UPS or fedex!!!
I ordered something online and received an email saying it had been delivered via usps. Nothing on my doorstep and package wasnt in my mailbox. I called the Benton post office and spoke with a gentleman who took down the info and said he would look into it for me. I never received a return call and every time I call the line is busy or nobody will answer. Im new to the area but Ive never ever had something show as delivered and it not be and I do a lot of online ordering. I was also home during the so called delivery time. My neighbor has had two online orders not delivered to her as well. Im thinking that the postal inspector needs to be notified because sounds like someone is stealing or not doing their job. Im also going to contact the online store but its usps word against mine so Im not sure how they can really help. I also live in a safe neighborhood so I know that my package wasnt stolen off of my porch. Very frustrating situation. Also the mail will sometimes come on a Sunday or after 8 pm which is is out of the norm.

The employees here are extremely rude, arrogant, and unhelpful. If you could go to any other post office in Arkansas, I would go there before I went here. They really need to hire some new employees because these ones are just pathetic.
When you do get the correct mail, the carrier continues to jam mail in mail box with packages to where you cant even get the mail out. The parcel locker is available but the carriers act like it is a challenge to see how much they can shove in a tiny letter box. Filing a claim for damaged goods doesnt work either. This post office supervisor needs to some surprise route inspections.

I called to make appts for passports and Paula put me on hold. For 12 min I waited on hold and then hung up. Called back a few min later and a lady took my name and number and said some would call me back. Well after 2 hours no call. I called back 6 times and no answer. Getting passports in Mabelvale. Their poor post men deliver mail on Saturday and Sunday and after dark.
Our regular mail carrier is pretty good, but today (Sunday), the carrier tossed a package up our driveway and it landed in the flower bed...in the rain. One if the items in the package broke.
Terrible customer service. Passport site says no appointment required for photo. Was very rudely notified that they are appointment only despite what the website says! I simply mentioned “ohh, the website says no appointment required for passport photos”. Then, I was rudely told “ I’m not going to argue with you.” Walgreens has much better service! Use Walgreens and the Saline County Library! They have excellent customer service! This post office is terrible!
Come rain, snow, sleet or hail, the Benton post office will always fail. Thank you to one of the only unions in Arkansas for destroying an age old institution.
A package was delivered on 11/23/18 and shoved in my mailbox, it had rained that day so when I checked my mail the box was swollen and I had to tear the box to get it out! It was glassware and this type of delivery is unacceptable! If you have to force the box in, leave it on my deck like the other mail carrier did. My driveway is in and out two directions and is right in front of my deck! Very disappointed in the delivery of packages.

Manager is extremely rude. I called to see if I could pick up my package. Before I could get the word out Paula yelled Nope. I said I always pick my packages up because my carrier dont deliver to close to 7pm and she said well aint no carriers gone be out that late. Everyday my carrier is that late with mail. Then she hung up in my face. When I called back she said they dont have time to get packages. Her delivery was extremely rude.

My driver seems to just decide which days shell come by to put mail in or take my outgoing mail. My bills sit in my box with the red flag up for days at a time.

Another prime example of a poorly run government organization, I order several packages a month and time after time after time they fail to meet the scheduled delivery date according to THEIR online tracking. There have been dozens of occasions where my package was received at this facility between 4am and 5am and somehow they cant get it on a mail truck by 9am so it can be delievered. For the money these people are paid it seems like theyd get their heads our of their asses and do the job they are paid to do!! So sick of this fu*king place!

The WORST USPS I have ever dealt with. Rude staff who refuse to do their jobs. I have had more packages lost or damaged here than anywhere I have ever lived. We moved frequently while in the military, this post office is off the charts in the most negative way possible.

The mailman never pick up my mail outside my house even with a stamp. Our street has out mailboxes on our front porch and they are too lazy to walk up. I am forced to drive to the always understaffed post office to mail anything. Benton PO is horrible.
