Preparer had poor attention to detail. I, the client, should not have to point out mistakes on simple forms. She was way too busy talking and not paying attention. I had to visit the store a second time due to having a balance due that I was not made aware of until after the fact. The owner did give us a discount, however, if I did not inquire to corporate as to why I hadn’t heard anything via text message, our taxes would still not be filed. The whole process of me and my wife filing our taxes took almost a week. I will not be back to H&R Block not will I recommend anyone go there.

Benjamin was super helpful, and explained my tax return to me so that I could understand it. This is the first year where I’ve genuinely understood where the numbers come from and why my return is what it was.

This year was the first time I have ever filed taxes. I am only 16, and the woman that was doing them for me, did not explain anything to me. She flew through the entire process, without telling me about anything she was doing, so I am still absolutely clueless to my taxes, and dont understand a thing about the process. She didnt speak very good english so she had to talk to my mom in Spanish because she couldnt explain something to me about a coupon or something. So not only did she not explain anything to me, she also couldnt talk to me much about anything, my main language is english, and she talked in spanish while explaining the coupon to my mom. The employee doing my taxes was Amelia Huaringa.
