I’m a Mom and a bit of a tomboy, but I had a destination wedding to attend for a family member and knew I wanted to have my hair cut and colored beforehand. I called the salon’s main number and left a message. Beckie called me back within an hour or so and gave me the info of two of their stylists so I could reach out and schedule with them directly. I contacted Olivia and set up an appointment, which was effortless. I looked on her Instagram to see her work and was really impressed, which gave me confidence in how my appointment would go. Olivia was on time and down to earth, as was the other stylist working in the salon. The salon was clean and really cute, they had 90s music playing, which was nice. I honestly didn’t have any look in mind that I was trying to achieve, I just knew I wanted the color and cut to be freshened up(my prior color was brassy bleached hair, with some lowlights and some roots showing). Olivia assessed my hair and asked some questions. We decided that the lowlights already in my hair would work really nicely with some brighter highlights, and that the dead ends of the hair would be cut and evened out, while added some layers and recutting the bangs. It turned out better than I ever expected. Like I literally have never left a salon as happy with the result as I did this time. And I felt listened to, because I told her that I didn’t want too much cut because I was still trying to grow it out. She took just enough off to make it look really healthy, without taking too much off, which is a very fine line to achieve, but she did the damn thing. I absolutely love her work and will definitely be going back. An added bonus: I’m a quiet person and I’m not great at chit-chatting/small talk. She knew just the right balance of making conversation, which let me relax and really enjoy the experience, especially since I never do this kind of stuff for myself. I love that the salon is family owned and operated. Plus, its not too booshie in there. I get my hair cut by Alyssa, and shes great. We always have a good time and a lot fun! Im going to do color soon, and I am looking forward to it. Otherwise, I totally trust Alyssa and enjoy my haircuts.

Ive been going to Beckie for well over ten years, and am continually amazed at her skills as a colorist and stylist. This woman can do anything with color! Ive had purple several times, orange, teal, and twice Ive gotten a mixture of colors to match my current running shoes! Beckie is friendly, caring, and she exhibits an uncanny ability to remember all the things about your hair. I never need to tell her what to do other than a brief explanation of which color I might want. Im ever so thankful I found her, and cant imagine going anywhere but Rooted.Note--during Covid times Beckie and the crew at Rooted have shown extreme professionalism and dedication to safety (masks, temp checks, sanitizers, social distancing, etc.). Im proud of the way theyve handled the ups and downs of closing, re-opening, and then repeating the cycle a couple more times. LONG LIVE BECKIE AND ROOTED BEAUTY STUDIOS!

Lisa is wonderful and such a talented hairstylist/colorist! I’ve been growing my hair long and while some hairstylists can’t resist the urge to cut more than necessary, she’s always been respectful of what I ask for so I trust her opinion of how much to take off. She gives it a great shape and movement. I’ve been taking a break from dying my hair but I’ve seen her work on her Instagram and on one of my best friends and she’s amazing. She’ll be my go-to when I dip back into hair color!

Lisa is a super talented color stylist. She highlighted my hair and added a dark reddish tint. The cut is exactly as I wanted it. She also does eyebrows as well as wedding or special occasion updos! She books up fast but i feel like that’s a testament to her work. She’s great! Rooted Beauty is CLEAN and SANITIZED. They did temperature checks, sanitizer, and everyone wore masks. The salon is super comfortable so I’d recommend it to anyone.

Rooted Salon is one of the most comfortable places of business I have ever stepped foot in. After having my haircut in Rooted by Beckie back in June, my 8 yr old daughter FINALLY (she had never had her hair cut) decided she wanted a haircut by Beckie because she felt so comfortable. Beckie treated my daughter with absolute respect and went through a whole Q&A process with her prior to cutting her hair (she cut about 5inches off!) my daughter so satisfied, as were dad and I, and she’s ready to book another appointment. I can’t even convey how much I love Beckie, the owner of this awesome studio. We were new to town, and I needed a new stylist. I called around and talked to quite a few people. Beckie was personable and sweet from the beginning. My first appointment, I had her cut of my long hair and she gave me the perfect cut and color.Every time I’m there, it feels like I’m hanging out with a friend (who happens to be incredible at her job!)I always look forward to my appointments!

Amazing salon experience right here!!! Beautiful salon and atmosphere! Everyone in the shop is super friendly!!! My hair is ALWAYS EXACTLY what I wanted when I leave, even so if it wasn’t all I have to do is speak up and I KNOW it’ll be taken care of. I travel a good 20-30 minutes to go to this salon even though I’m sure I could find something closer and get similar results BUT I love the salon and people in it. I love the location and I love the products used! Way worth the the drive for this salon experience!

I have been coming to see Beckie for almost 3 years now... I have loved every moment of my transition from deep auburn hair to blond bombshell and everywhere in between. Beckie is amazing. She is so very knowledgable and takes her time to explain the ins and outs of everything. I love her ideas and she always listens to mine. I have gone from subtle to drastic changes and back again... with Beckie at bat... she always knocks it out of the park! I have recommended her to friends and will continue to spread the good word. #happygirl

The ownership- the beautiful young woman who owns this shop is wonderful. She has handled me and my hair with grace, patience and great skill. everytime Im in the shop I feel at home. I havent had this kind of salon vibe on so long and it is wonderful.The services- this is a full service salon, I have been recieving services for color correction which as anyone knows can be intense, but I have been skating through these stages with ease due to the care and professional advice from the staff here. The stylists keep up to date with the latest techniques and styles (even hosting some classes).overall- My hair has been pampered and treated very well by these people. Everytime I walk out if this place I feel like a badass warrior princess ready to take on the rest of the week!10/10 would recommend, make sure to book in advance because these services (as with most great things) book up fast!
