Nice idea, enjoyed falling asleep listening to the river. Room was nice, comfortable, pretty clean. but fridge cabinet door was flaky, bottom of curtains dirty, and could not move curtains aside from window due to AC unit placement and screwed in blocks. Tried to spend money there 5 times, went 1/5. Upon check in asked if I could get take out at the restaurant, was told yes, orders taken until 8:45PM (it was about 8:35) Walked 15 steps to restaurant hostess who said i was too late, last orders at 8:30. Hmm, front desk 15 steps away, didnt know this. Mentioned it to the front desk good naturedly) and got confused looks from the staff. Later that night I called front desk to ask if they sold toothpaste at the pantry, also 15 steps from front desk. Told yes. Got there and the toothpaste along with several other items were out of stock. Told by front desk Sorry, truck hasnt come in a while. If you are out of stuff within line of sight from the front desk, maybe tell the guest and save them a trip to the lobby. Better yet, go to a local store and buy resupply items until your truck shows. As long as I was in the lobby, I thought Id get a nightcap, but it was 9:30 and last call was at 9. The next morning I went to get breakfast at 10:50, the hours were posted as breakfast until 11AM, but nope, kitchen already changing out to lunch. No breakfast orders after 10:30. then post 10:30, not 11.I did manage to order room service. it came quick. Tomato soup was good and hot but unseasoned, and no salt or pepper provided. Meat and cheese plate was pretty lean for the price. A year and and half into COVID, I get your please be nice to our staff signage, but none of the issues above were COVID related, except maybe the room maintenance, these are management issues.

Beautiful, lovely clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Hotel is on the river, with some rooms overlooking it. Not too far from the river walk path, & across the street from a grocery, for those snack essentials! Hotel has its own restaurant as well. Truly nice experience- highly recommend this place. :)

I really wanted to like it. Sometimes it just isnt your day, and that is what I want to believe happened here. I travel a lot and unfortunately this was one of the worst first experiences I have ever had. I get that things can go wrong, and I dont like complaining, but this was was very bad. Below you can find a list of our experience..• Our non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes from the previous occupant. I am not overly sensitive or anything, but it was off putting.• The AC unit had both dirty filters pulled out but the staff forgot to remove them. They were laying on the counter in the room.• Old uncleaned mouse droppings all over the balcony.• The fridge had old food in it, and the microwave had splattered dried food.• The first night we were initially turned away from the restaurant due to a lack of silverware. They later managed to squeeze us in due to what they said was a mistake on their communication.• All of our food was served very cold, and I mean like cold from the cooler cold. It was supposed to be hot which I double checked to ensure I wasnt crazy.• They mistakenly overcharged us at the restaurant and acted annoyed when I pointed it out.• The second day we wanted a drink from the bar but were told that due to technical problems they had to close and wouldnt serve anyone. They did give us 20% off of the rooms due to everything, but I have just never had so many things go bad.

The staff was very friendly so great job. The room was not so great. TV was not working and the air conditioning broke. There were no screens on the sliding glass door to allow cool air in. We called the front desk and they sent someone up first to fix the TV then to look at the air conditioner. The filter was so dirty the air conditioner could not operate properly. They gave us a new room. This was about 9pm. We asked to have the manager contact us about our issues, left our phone number and we never received a call back. This is poor costumer service and a lack of caring for customer satisfaction!! I would not recommend this hotel!!!

This place is absolutely beautiful. I actually spent my mini-honeymoon and first anniversary here with my husband and our dog. With rooms on both sides of the river and a cute bridge joining them, its nice to take a walk around on the rocky river paths. You can hear the resident ducks and geese on the river and smell the scent fresh juniper at night. The rooms and facilities are nicely maintained and clean, and the tubs in the rooms are nice and roomy, too. Our rooms had a lovely view of the river with quick access to the walking trail so it was easy to take our dog out. The outdoor pool was nice and warm from sitting in the sun all day, and although we didnt use the fitness room it looked pretty quality as well. You can tell the maintenance team does a lot to keep this place looking its best, it really shows. We ate out on the patio of the restaurant, which was really nice to be able to do. The food was quite good and my husbands cocktail was lovely as well. Overall a great experience with this place, I could not be happier with our visit.

Weve stayed here before. The location is very good, but the quality of the place has gone down. Also, they added two additional fees to our room fee--a resort fee and a property fee. Really? What for? Thats a shady way of advertising a lower room rate. When I questioned the fee, I was treated very rudely. We wont be returning.

Pros: The staff were all so kind, helpful, and accommodating. They really cared about how we felt and put our comfort as their first priority. They were all so wonderful and made this trip so memorable for us. Also, the facilities (lobby, spa, restaurant, pool, etc) were al top notch. Food was delicious.Cons: The rooms are average and is like any other basic hotel room (and we stayed in the supreme king). The other downside was that we chose the place for the river view but did not get that experience due to the curtains only opening up 1/4 of the way. Even when we walked out to the balcony, there were many trees blocking the view (which is not a bad thing but it just wasn’t what we were expecting).I am giving this a 4 star because they went out of their way to make sure we were happy and well taken care of. And the facilities overall was beautiful.

The customer service was lovely and I would definitely stay there next time I visit!!! I had a very pleasant stay 😊! The only thing that wasnt as advertised on their website was the wine package. It says if you purchase the wine package with your room, you will get a bottle of wine grown and made in Oregon but when I received mine it said Washington State on the bottle. I was disappointed heavily in my anniversary stay there on Sept 8th. It was anniversary night so I wanted a nicer room with a river view. I dont think my expectations were unreasonable for my stay.I did not get a river view room even though I paid for one. I was in #2112. I walked the property early that following morning before checking out & noticed that most of the rooms on the property had a good view? The south most EV plug was open with a Tesla next space over. I saw that the sprinkler was on & didnt think much of it but got soaked when it crossed the parking space which I didnt anticipate with it being fairly dark. I could only retreat one way with the plug already in place which didnt help. I also noticed the service panel was left open & the circuit breakers were getting wet. Dont charge your car here! You & your car charger plug will get wet & likely scrap your door on the huge curb that makes no sense. Also the resort doesnt cover any charging time like the sign says.I get back to the room & the HVAC will not work & is stuck on 61 idle. Im still wet from the sprinkler system. We called the front desk & were put on hold, later being told she was there by herself & had no one who could help. The HVAC was inoperative including not venting air which was also unfortunate due to the smoky air. When checking out I mentioned our stay wasnt good to Allyson at the front desk who ignored the statement until I mentioned it again. She said she didnt hear me but I doubt it. Not a good experience. I did not get the river view room I paid for. 2112 is not River View & if it is then its overgrown with vegetation & thats not the fault of the guest. I got soaked by a sprinkler system on my anniversary night & got salt rubbed on the wound when the HVAC didnt work & no one could help just like no one wanted to help at the front desk when I mentioned the issue at check out.  Reached out to the manager Robert Uchida who seemed like he might be interested in helping but he never got back to me so there you have it. I will send a complaint to Wayne Purcell, the hospitality board, & reached out to ChargePoint regarding there poorly maintained charger. I had to request a refund from my travel agent. River house was a total let down guys!!

Riverhouse made me so sad on my wedding day....My family flew into town in March to tour the hotel and pick out a room for my wedding weekend! We found the perfect room. Suite facing the river with enough space to get ready for the big day. Communication had been so unfortunate the entire process. When my husband and I went to check in the sales rep did not book us in the room we chose so many months ago and were looking forward to. We got a king room facing the parking lot with no tables for getting ready. They said they could not accommodate me in anyway and it just hurts my heart. I was so looking forward to my stay here and it turned into a huge let down. They didnt seem to care much or do any sort of thing to make up for the mistake. Also, earlier in the year we toured the banquet rooms and wanted to book our rehearsal here. My mom had to basically pull teeth to get responses and we ended up going with another hotel for the rehearsal because of the lack of communication.I had high hopes for the Riverhouse because I visit Currents and I love my time going to the restaurant here. Theres a lot of behind the scenes work that should be done here. Please make your next brides feel special. They dont deserve this! :-(

Reading reviews and viewing photos prior to our stay had us feeling positive about our choice in hotel. However,, when we arrived to our room there was a odd smell to the room. Maybe a smoke, musty smell? We had a room with a sliding glass door and screen door. The handle was broken, the top screw was completely gone and the screen door was not on the track either. There was no bedding for the pull-out couch in the room. Also, the shower drain did not work well. There was no edge to the shower and the water would flood the bathroom floor. For claiming to be a 4-star hotel, we were less than impressed. If your visiting Bend, I highly recommend going elsewhere!

We stayed June 22-24, 2021. The room was not cheap, which was okay but I did have higher expectations because of the price. One of our AC units didn’t work. We told the front desk and they did not do anything about it. It was apparent they were very short staffed. Understandable because of Covid. The hallways were filthy. We ordered some desert for room service and it was $10 each and not good. They aren’t cleaning rooms so we had to call the front desk to get coffee refilled, which again is fine, but we had to ask multiple times because they kept forgetting. I would blame all of this on being understaffed and most places in the area are. When checking out the 2 customers in front of me also complained of AC not working. So just a heads up to anyone planning you might be able to find cheaper. They did have a great indoor and outdoor pool which we enjoyed. I bet if they were full staffed it would be a cool place.

We drove to bend for my brothers bachelor party. We called ahead and were told our rooms would be ready by 2. We had booked two Suites. We arrived around 3:00 after golfing all morning, and were told our room would be ready in about “45 minutes” at 4 we were told “45 minutes” finally 6:00pm rolled around and I asked for the manager. After trying to push the problem back on to his front desk, I asked him to go check on the room and let me know personally when it would be ready. Finally around 7:15 pm we got the key to one room while they finished the other. We couldn’t just leave and go out, because we were waiting on the room to shower. Was not happy with the delay…but service was even worse. It felt like everyone was just pointing fingers at each other. The place is nice, but I wouldn’t trust it for any special event

The outside looks rundown and old. But the rooms are nice and spacious. Beds are fairly comfy.Upon check in and paying, checked our bank account and was charged $150 over the total amount we booked for. Called and were told that is normal. Now I assume that is for incidentals and what not. Which is fine. However, they need to disclose that. Especially since they said that it could take up to 10 days after check out to get it back. For us it was fine. But some people may not have that extra $150 in their account.Bar to keep the sliding door was broken. And the people below us were out on their patio area smoking pot... yes, I know its legal here. Just wasnt expecting that.We were very disappointed that there was no TV services. We called the front desk to see if we were doing something wrong. They said they would send maintenance. Then several minutes later called back, said there was no cable because they were switching providers. I guess all the cords and Dish remotes thrown out in the walk way in front of each room should have tipped us off. Also, an hour prior to scheduled pool closing, security told us we could not swim. Now granted it was raining, so I understand not being able to use the outdoor pool but the indoor pool too???

This hotel was probably very nice 20 years ago and the lobby is still pretty good. The rooms are a different story - old, grungy and not very clean. The carpets are VERY dirty on the way to the rooms and inside the rooms, it doesnt get any better. I say rooms because the first room I was in was infested with ants. Also, the secondary lock on the door was broken, clearly a result of being forced.I called the front desk and they sent someone to set up ant traps. Really?I called again and complained a little more loudly and this time I was put into another room. This second room had no ant infestation but it was, if anything, even dirtier. There were cobwebs in every corner full of dead bugs, there were a bunch of moths fluttering around the room and a swarm of gnats flitting around each light. I killed a LOT of bugs before going to sleep. I left my suitcase packed, sealed, and sitting on the bathroom counter. You need to stay away from this place - their fees are extravagant and their rooms are NOT clean. Also, they include a coffee maker and 4 mugs but only one packet of coffee? Hello?Ive stayed here twice but will not return.

The hotel was nice, and overall clean. The river and setup is lovely. They gave us plenty of soap and complimentary items to set us up for the stay which I loved, except pillows and blankets not quite up to par with the level of expect from such a lovely hotel. Tiny overly soft pillows(wish we had asked for 4 more), and very thin blanket. We were a bit cold and uncomfortable. Our room had a broken sliding door latch to the porch and there was a weird lightweight bar they put in to lock the door and it was super junky. Had to fight to open and shut the door. I sincerely hope they plan to fix it before the next customers stay in the room. Sliding door glass was also gross as were the sheer curtains like something got splashed in it and overlooked in cleaning Restaurant was wonderful, our server was Steve and he was great from start to finish. His mixed drinks were great and the food recommendations were spot on. Id stay here again for the restaurant alone. And the lovely view of course.

I recently stayed at the Riverhouse and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! I started out reserving one night but when I called to add additional nights, I was upgraded to a suite across the river that had a fireplace and a lovely view of the river. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the hotel staff were polite and attentive. There was a fireplace but I didnt use it. I liked how the the hotel was really close to shopping and easy to get to Mt. Bachelor. I will definitely come back again! The restaurant had recently opened back up and the food was delicious. However, there was one waiter who wasnt wearing his mask properly - please keep an eye on your waitstaff to make sure their masks are up over their nose. Also keep in mind that there are no elevators on the far side of the river. I asked for a ground floor room because of that.

I had to go out of town for work in bend and brought my wife and son with me. Needless to say we won’t be staying here again. Our room was in the back across the River at door B. We had a late arrival and when we walked in, we were greeted by ants and bugs at the entry door. The staircase to level 2 was stained with mud and dirt and our initial reaction was pretty gross and displeasing but it was late and we were tired. The room was spacious but carpets were stained and pretty rough and the most recent update to the room included a flat screen TV. Everything else was what you would expect at an upgraded room at a motel 6. The bathroom was cleaned poorly and the bathtub had dirt inside of it and on the rim of the tub. The toilet had stains from previous tenements and there was only 1 partial roll of toilet paper available. After cleaning the tub out I noticed here was also a dirty towel under the sink. We’re it not 10pm and if we didn’t have our 19 month old with us, we would have stayed elsewhere. To make matter worse the walls are so thin and poorly designed that my 28 lb son running back and fourth in the room was enough to bother the neighbors who called and complained of the noise. To be fair to them he was laughing pretty hard as he ran back and fourth. Although I question the complaints one would get if they were on a honeymoon….The next day while I was at work my wife went to their restaurant for lunch and waited at the table for 40 minutes before being waited on. The waitress excused herself for how busy she was and apologized for the wait which was confusing because only 3 tables in the restaurant had customers, and there were 5 waitresses available. She ordered her food to go and waited 30 minuets for her breakfast platter. Upon getting back to her room my wife noticed the waitress did not provide utensils for her food so my wife called the front desk and requested towels and utensils, which never arrived. She called back 3 hours to request towels again and received them an hour later. My wife called me at work and asked if we could switch hotels for our second night but my work already paid for the room and all other hotels were booked up so we were forced to stay another night. Needless to say for $310 a night it was probably the worst stay we have ever had.

No view of the river, and frankly, if you cant see the river I dont see the draw to stay here. Not being negative, but the building my room was located in overlooked a parking lot and the sides of other neighboring buildings. All doors open to an outdoor passageway to the parking lot providing no real security. So it had more of a motel feel than a $700+ hotel scenic experience.

When I arrived to check in at 7pm, the man at the front desk could not find any record of my reservation in his system. He showed that I had cancelled even though I showed current evidence of the booking including text message confirmations sent by the hotel. He encouraged me to cancel my existing reservation through the 3rd party app, call the credit card company and ask for a refund, and then rebook my stay with him. He said this happens a lot when people use 3rd party booking services. I pushed back because I knew my credit card company would not reimburse me for canceling after check in and rebooking. He acted like there was nothing he could do on his end and when we asked to speak to a manager he said the reservation team had already left for the day and there was no management on duty. After standing there for 15 minutes he finally made a phone call to Expedia and shorty thereafter he found my information in his system. We were given breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience however it felt as though we were burdening them by simply expecting our prepaid reservation to go through without having to be homeless for a night.

The room and bathroom were very clean and updated which was really nice. A few downsides though, the coffee in our room was only decaf, there was no bedding for the sofa pullout (we specified 3 guests, one being a child, on our reservation, thought bedding would have been included since that information was provided upfront), the toilet seemed broken and was running nonstop, there were not enough towels provided for the number of occupants, the curtains would not open the full-length of the windows so the room was very dark. To top it off, breakfast at the restaurant was pretty poor quality, home fries were barely edible. Really lovely location, and if you overlook all those details, because staffing, etc. may be challenging, due to Covid-19, its a really lovely location and the facilities were otherwise really nice. Coffee and bedding were certainly provided upon request, just required extra trips to the front desk late at night and early in the morning.

The room was fine, but the noise from rooms above was so bad. Every time a door opened and closed there was a loud bang. The carpets in the hall way were so dirty and discolored. We ordered from room service (7:00 pm) and after over an hour we got a call that they didn’t have any more pizza. The restaurant floor had food and other items all over it. Waitress was great. Not coming back.

Nice looking place, professional staff. The room was nice, but in disrepair. Dead bolt would not work because the door was way out of alignment, sliding door onto balcony did not latch and the screen slider was completely useless. Not sure there was a level on the job site when this place was built.

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Overall it was a solid experience, but next time were in town I may try a different hotel.Good:• Staff: Everyone we interacted with was SO friendly, from the front desk, to the bartended, and everyone else.• Location: So pretty having the river going through the middle of their property, and the cool bridge joining the two halves.• In room fireplaces were really nice. I wasnt thinking we would use them, but ended up using them every night and they added a nice ambiance.• Had a fill a growler every night room package that was awesome. It was great being able to have that every night to come back to and enjoy at the end of the day.Ehh• Decor in our room could use updating. Wooden bed frame was scratched up and could use a stand/stain job. Carpet seemed just a little worn, and some of the dresser drawers didnt close all the way.• All lights in the room are LED and they just arent warm feeling. Whole place, even with most of the lights on, just kind of felt cold• Finishings felt a bit more like a $250 a night hotel instead of a $500 a night hotelBad:• Website advertised both an indoor and an outdoor hot tub, but when we got there there was only an indoor one• Curtains on door to porch only open 1/2 way. Considering youre paying extra for a river-view, would be nice to get more of the view and more natural light. Also— our curtains were broken and half off the track. Was difficult to get them to open even the 1/2 way they were supposed to.Also, our room was not cleaned the entire 3-days we were there. This was done because, allegedly, of COVID safety practices. However, none of the staff were wearing masks at all, and there really didnt seem to be any other COVID safety measures. I dont really care that much where a business lands on the whole COVID thing, its up to them. However, its disingenuous to pick-and-choose to be responding to COVID stuff in areas where it saves you money, but in other areas, like mask wearing, completely ignore it. Its really obvious this is just a money saving measure. Kind of frustrating as a customer. On top of this, we were not informed about this on booking our room, but only via text message less than a day before we got there, when it would be too late to change plans.Overall, if I had paid $900-$1200 for 3 nights at this place I think I could have been happy. However, our bill (even without room service) was around $1600 for 3 nights. For that kind of $$$ I just expect a bit more from a hotel. Not a bad place. Staff was amazing, and we really did enjoy ourselves. Just a pinch over-priced, in my opinion, for the quality. However, this is the first time Ive stayed in Bend, so it could just be that I dont know their pricing for that area.

This hotel was probably very nice 10-15 years ago. It needs TLC. Also unvaccumed and cleaning staff are nonexistent during covid. Check in (Our room had an Ozone machine being pulled out of it after our 6:30 pm checkin—room smelled- carpet wet), in person dining (patio had 10 open tables but we couldn’t eat there without a reservation, menu is heavy for summer), and room service (came 1 hr after ordering) was disappointing. Waitstaff in bar were helpful, checkin people were nice and moved our room quickly.

Room wasnt ready and we were even still a half hour after the 4pm time to check in. And were notified after getting the room and paid the night before that our room had a flood in it and wouldnt be getting the river view room everything else would be the same. That was incorrect majorly incorrect. I paid for a queen with a sofa bed and fireplace river view. I got a queen no sofa bed no fireplace and no river view. When checking out next morning (because it was past 10pm when finally got into the room so didnt want to deal with them more that night) I spoke with the lady at the front desk about comping some of the cost of the room back to me since I didnt even get to sleep let my kids have the bed instead and she said she would write down my info and have the manager call me when they got in. That was two days ago and still havent had any calls from them. I am not happy what so ever

We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was clean, quiet and loved the view of the river out our patio. I would say our only complaints are the front desk and coffee. The front desk are not well informed and gave us conflicting information. The coffee needs improving. The keurig needed some cleaning and the k cups were a terrible selection. Other than that we were quite happy and would stay here again!

Stayed here 3/25-3/27 and it was clear upon check-in that the staff were completely overwhelmed and unprepared to be closer to full capacity. Check-in is at 4pm, but our room was not ready until 6pm for check-in due to cleaning service staff shortages. We werent the only ones with these issues as the lobby had 3-4 other groups who were in the same boat. Once we were in our room (King Suite with a pullout couch) there was no bedding provided for the pullout couch and we were not provided any until 4 hours after initially calling. Mind you that was at 10pm, far later than our 7 year olds bed time. Additionally, they were unable to provide more than sheets for the pullout and they were out of pillows... Not that it really mattered as the hotel doesnt even provide more than what can only be described as a Red Cross Emergency Blanket on their regular beds with a sheet below and a sheet on top. Thankfully we had a blanket in our car, but if you spend $500+ for two nights in a suite, one should reasonably be able to expect that the hotel has basic bedding and a pillow for every guest (and that you dont have to make the bed, aka stained pullout couch, yourself!) The staff were incredibly kind and helpful to the best of their ability, but it is abundantly clear that whoever owns this property doesnt expect to ever be close to full and has subsequently cut cost corners by not regularly keeping enough supplies on hand. Definitely will not be returning.

We got one of the riverview rooms with a fireplace and were pretty disappointed given the cost of this place. The river is nice but it is way down below the room level and can not be hear over the traffic noise. One little duraflame does not equal a roaring fire. Desk person was very curt and not very engaging.

EDIT: Today, my fourth time calling in, I was able to speak to an awesome employee named Kelsey who got me refunded. As a result, Im bumping this up an extra star. Despite Kelsey being a rockstar, the overall experience was pretty bad.My family booked a stay at the Riverhouse for 3 nights. Prior to arrival, Riverhouse sent us an email saying we could check in early at 11AM for a $50 charge. We called them, said we’d take them up on the offer, and they made a note in our account. When it was time for our visit, we drove from Portland early so that we could arrive at 11AM in order to get situated and nap our youngest child at noon.Upon arriving at 11AM, we were told our room was not clean, and that we would need to come back in to check in at the standard check in time. This was annoying, because we now had to nap our toddler in the car (after already have young kids in the car for 3.5 hours on our drive to Bend from Portland, and our 4-year-old being increasingly antsy). It was also frustrating because this was during the PNW heat wave, so even with our AC on, our car was very hot. What was very frustrating was they later billed our credit card for $150 and emailed us a PDF saying they charged us an early check in fee for each of the 3 days. First, we were not allowed to check in early. Second, you only check into a hotel once for your stay.We called the front desk, they apologized, acknowledged it was an error, and said they would credit us back the charge. Days went by, and we never received the credit. Next, we called their accounting department using the command prompts on their phone menu. No one answered, so we left a message explaining the situation. No one called us back. We later called back in, left another message, and no one called us back. After fraudulently charging us $150, we finally had to file a dispute with our credit card company. This hotel is incredibly poorly run. Visitors beware.

Check in painless, but not told there was interior hall to enter from, room direction vague and only interior numbers to ID each room, no exterior room identifiers. 2 tiny waste baskets and recycle basket. Exterior sliding doors to parking area great, but had snowed days before and ice between car and sidewalk to cross to get to room doors and sidewalk had snow ice melter pellets that stuck to shores and to room rug. No mat inside of door to wipe feet on when entering that way. Never saw the river..opposite side of buildind and no easy access from where my room was. Was clean, warm and handicap accessible.

Your clue that this place isnt going to be a great stay starts before you even check in. There was one person working the reception counter when I arrived and he was helping someone else which is fine, but he never looked up to see me waiting and when a second person showed up to work the counter, she was busy typing and ignored me as well. Neither ever said welcome or be right with you. Got my room key and the little envelope says Were all guests here. Really? I thought I was the guest and that your job was to make me feel welcome.! Got to my room, LOTS of noise from the nearby highway and no way to keep the fan running to block it out. The internet was SOOO slow that I couldnt download anything at all so finally had to set up a hot spot on my phone to get anything done. I even tried sitting at the bar but no luck there either with getting anything loaded up. When I went to the bar, there was no one there to seat me so I assumed that I should just seat myself but was rudely informed by a server that only their restaurant receptionist could seat anyone. Returned to the restaurant desk and waited for someone to show up. She proceeded to ignore me and put away silverware instead. I asked if I could be seated and was informed as soon as I am done with this. I would rather camp out in the woods than stay here again! Such a disappointing stay.

This is the type of place I want people I visit to recommend. Fantastic views, great location, and amazing staff. The beds were comfy, the balcony was perfect with the river running below. Fireplace added such a cozy touch to the room. Both the room and bath were large, and the closet had a ton of space so everything was put up out of the way. When we got there the TV was not working, their maintenance worker came quickly, got it working and was so kind. Parking was great, tons of spaces. 10/10 will stay here again.

Third time here with my boyfriend. I guess that makes us repeat customers! We love the location on the Deschutes River right in town. This time, they upgraded our King room to a river view at no charge. We appreciate the cleaning protocols they are following. Plus, breakfast is provided in a sack lunch form. My tiny wish is that they would provide drinking glasses and even plastic table service. Drinking wine out of paper cups just isnt the same!

Our expectations were not met on this visit. The stairwells and hallways were grubby and uninviting. The room was ok, the bed frame was old and creaky - the AC was quite temperamental. The restaurant had limitations on dining so serving us was not an option, even at the bar. When we asked if we could eat take out in the bar we were told no outside food was allowed. The staff was fielding lots of unhappy guests. The stay was too expensive for such a poor showing.

Check in was supposed to be at 4pm, room was not ready till 6 pm. Ordered 2 mojhitos at the bar the had no alcohol in them at all. Finally decided to order beer as we were sure they couldnt screw that up. Tried to go to dinner and were told they were not seating anymore people or taking reservations. We had to order food to our room, the food quality was poor and they also screwed up our food order. We hung the do not disturb sign as we wanted to sleep in. We were abruptly woken up by room service at 9 am. We will never go back again. The service was also poor. The only nice part was that our room was nice and had a great river view. If you just want a place to sleep and go elsewhere for food, drinks, and activities then it ok.
