My dog is very fearful and the vets here showed compassion, caring and were willing to get to know the dog and help build her confidence before treating her at all. My dogs fear comes out as aggression. Unlike other vets they are willing to calm her and get to know her instead of acting like she vicious. Great Vets

Yesterday we had to put our precious little dog down and we were heartbroken.. We are traveling in our RV and luckily found Alpine Veterinary Clinic online. We chose them because of the reviews. Everyone there couldn’t have been kinder. Dr. Kelley was thorough and made us aware of our options and supportive of our decision. We feel blessed that we found this place on such a sad day.

I loved everybody. I loved the the doc. Anyone that deals with my spicy cat is golden. The techs were real concerned about keeping my caat calm. I guess the best thing was It felt like home.. thank u Alpine.

Our daughter was visiting from out of town with her dog and he developed a cough. Alpine Vet was able to schedule a non-emergency appointment, on a Saturday, to see the dog and prescribe medicine to help him cough less. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Alpine was very accommodating by getting us (as a new patient) in the same day. Dr Kelly was thorough in explaining everything well and recommending other items we could use to help our 10 week old puppy while healing. Appreciate all the staff during these tough times.

My dog is my best friend. He helps me through times when I struggle to deal and cope with my ptsd and anxiety. He’s one of the best things that’s ever happened in my life. When he was seen and Dr Kelly informed me that he was in desperate need of a cleaning and what ended up being about 16 extractions amongst large cyst removals I was terrified for my Jack. A sweet boy who suffers from separation anxiety and being away from his home. But, the entire staff at alpine veterinary clinic met his every need. They cared for him, they kept me informed during the long day of surgery while I was anxious at home. They gave options, honest recommendations to better Jack’s life and when I asked about the choice I should make I was assured by the veterinarian it’s what he would do for his own dog if he were in my shoes. Since the surgery just three days ago I’ve received 3 phone calls from staff checking in on Jack to see how he’s doing. They answered questions thoroughly and most importantly my Jack is feeling so much better. Better than he felt before the surgery and healing up well. I have full confidence that I can entrust them with anything that may come up after experiencing nothing but the utmost care, competence, knowledge, professionalism and compassion for our entire family. Super friendly and my senior dog was not shaking after going into the facility. At his old vet, he was terrified, this one he was at ease. The Dr. spent time explaining things to me for each of my pups and I understood all of the options before I made decisions.

They have always taken really good care of our animals! From cheat grass removal, to dental care to big medical scared the vet was very caring and thorough when discussing our options and explaining what was going on. Thank you, Alpine vet!

I was expecting to pay about $800 for. dental work on my little choahuaha. I paid just over $600 for 10 teeth to be pulled late year at Klamath Falls animal clinic. I also expected to pick up my dog at 4:30. Not only did they not even start until that time, they didnt communicate. Then he was sent home at 8:00 pm without recovery time. There was not a call as promised after the x- rays. I was slapped with. A bill of almost $1, 400. I am not impressed with this vets communication, pricing or decision making. I will definatley reserch other options.

Doctor Kelly was amazing with our dog Bogey and with us. His whole staff was so sweet. Very sensitive to our needs. Our sweet Bogey had to be put down and they were all just perfect and very professional. Thank you so much!

We are visiting Bend, and they were able to get us in on short notice, including then scheduling a procedure under general anesthesia on a Sunday, so that we could leave town when we had planned on Monday! Very efficient, knowledgeable, and caring.

We have been taking our kitties here for three years, and wouldnt take tbem anywhere else. They take the time with each one and get to know them and us. When we lost one of our beloved kitties the vet was amazing, so compassionate and understanding, and truly felt our loss. The Alpine Vet team is the best.

I have only been in a few veterinary clinics, before this, and the clinic smelled VERY clean.The veterinarian thoroughly explained why Hayzel’s wound presented the way it did, and gave detailed instructions on wound care. My baby Atlas was in an altercation with 2 other dogs and he was in bad shape so we called some Vet Clinics in the area and it was hard getting him seen. Alpine Veterinary Clinic told me to bring him in right away! They were so caring and awesome with Atlas! He had to get a few things done but I was on a tight budget and they helped me out as much as they could so that I could afford it and it was a big weight off my shoulders! I definitely recommend taking your fur baby here!

So amazing and caring and sweet to my animals. Wont ever go to anyone else. We had to take our sweet kitty joey and we had no idea what was going on with her, and as most of us know that is the worst feeling ever they were so kind and had us bring her in right away and took such good care of her it was just her glands, but still very scary not knowing. We have had to take her back a few times to get them expressed and you can tell how much they care. Today we had to take her in as she was in a lot of discomfort and now not even a half hour later she is home and crashed out on the couch. Thank yall so much.Marji and Makaela Parker

I really appreciate that they are open until 7pm, even on weekends.

When our cat became sick on a Saturday afternoon, I called Alpine to see if they could fit her into their schedule. They said they could see her if we dropped her off and picked her up later. We did. The vet came out to our car and introduced herself to us. Two hours later, the vet called us and gave us the diagnosis and complete instructions on what to do. Our primary veterinary clinic was closed on Saturday afternoon. Even though we were not customers of Alpine, they saw Emma and took good care of her. Dr. LeMaire was very nice and professional. An Alpine employee called us Sunday morning to check on our cat. We definitely appreciate the care that Emma received from Alpine Veterinary Clinic.

We do not go to Alpine normally, but our cat was attacked and needed help over a holiday. Alpine was open! Alex, the front desk team member, was super helpful and reassuring. Taylor and the medical staff were professional, thorough and wonderful! Dr. Alan assessed our boy and got him right on for surgery.We are very thankful for Alpine vet. I found Alpine while hoping to avoid a emergency room visit for my dog on a Sunday afternoon when I noticed he had a infection brewing. I was so happy with our visit to Alpine that I have started to use them as my normal vet. Dr. Webb has been beyond reasonable with all of his treatment plans for my dog and takes his time answering my (often too many) questions with a smile on his face. Dr. Webb and all of the staff at Alpine have been wonderful with my dog, he happily jumps out of the car to go inside with them. Their force free handling and warm personalties have made vet visits a breeze. On top of them being great their hours of operation and pricing are the best I have ever seen at a vets office. If you need a vet in Central Oregon Alpine is the place to go.

It was my first visit with Alpine Vet. Clinic. They took great care of my dog. A very good experience. Dr. Lemaire is fantastic and I cant imagine better medical care for my pup.

I have a very fearful dog, and the vet techs and veterinarian were so careful with and kind to her. They didnt force her to go in the door, and I watched from my car as the tech sat on the floor with her for 30 minutes, giving her treats and petting her. The price for an exam + meds was incredibly reasonable, and they were responsive over the phone and had appointments available next day.

I really needed a FIV test within 1-2 days of adopting a new cat from a shelter, nearly everyone in town was booked out into the incoming week, but alpine was able to get me in that day! Amazing and friendly staff too

This place and the employees that run it are Amazing, they are kind gentle caring informative and smart. They took great care of dog NiTro who had an inner ear infection and well lets just say NiTro doesnt mind going to the vet all his lady friends work there and he loves the ladies lolJust wanted to share this my dog is my life he is like one of my kids (BUT NICER AMD CLEANER lol) I would never let any one care for my baby who wasent the BEST of the BEST . Took my rabbit here. They aren’t an exotic animals clinic, but Dr.Webb sees small animals. He did a basic exam for me. Everything was okay except my rabbits teeth. He isn’t able to do a surgery for me, but he was very knowledgeable on how to take care of rabbits. He also said he would call around to vets in Bend to see if anyone would be able to help with the dentistry. Really enjoyed our time here. 10/10.

We were a loyal customer of another veterinarian with our previous dog. We recently got another dog and went back. We were disappointed with the service we received. We went to Alpine Veterinarian Clinic and spoke to Dr. Kelley and his staff. They were great, very helpful and answered all of our questions. They have some awesome health packages for puppies. I highly recommend them!

My whole family loves Alpine Veterinary Clinic. Having three dogs, a cat and bunny we make frequent vet visits. All of my animals feel calm and relaxed at Alpine and as an owner I know I am trusting them to the most caring and attentive team of veterinary professionals. My daughters also love coming with since the waiting room is so inviting and there are several books and kids activities available. Pricing is great! All my dogs are on a healthcare plan with Alpine and I really appreciate that as an owner as shots and appointments can be very expensive otherwise.

This is my first visit to the clinic with my puppy! The staff seems pleasant and caring. It’s difficult to comment on the interactions with my dog, b/c I had to remain outside to comply with COVID-19 restrictions. They gave her shots and nasal injection and I paid the fee. I feel the interaction overall was good. I scheduled two more follow up visits and I suspect it will be the same.....b/c of COVID. The Veterinarian was informative and we discussed the best plan of care as we look ahead.

They got my little dog in for an Urgent Care appointment for pain in his mouth on a Saturday afternoon. The person who greeted me out at the car was very kind and patient. Although he was hesitant to walk in with her, I noticed that she didnt try to grab him up or drag him, she waited until he would go along with her. The doctor called me very shortly thereafter with her assessment and treatment plan. She explained everything very well. The clinic called me 24 hours later to check on my pets progress. He recovered well. Its great to know that they are open seven days a week and have Urgent Care available even for people who are not established clients .

We called in after 5pm on a weekday with a bit of an emergency and they were able to get us in that evening for X-rays for our dog. By the time we drove down there they were ready for us and greeted us by name. They stayed late to make sure our dog was ok and the customer service and professionalism was outstanding. They called the next day to check in with us to see how our dog was doing which is above and beyond what would ever be expected. We’ve been to several clinics in Bend trying to find the best one for our pup and finally we’ve found it. Thank you, Alpine, for all that you guys do and for the incredible care you give to our animals. I recommend this place above all others.

We were new clients to this clinic, and they were not only kind and responsive about our older dogs issue, everyone worked with us to get her taken care of the same day that we called. The team went above and beyond to help us get our dog the antibiotics she needed quickly, and were kind with a very anxious dog. If my pup could vote, this would probably be her favorite vet clinic she has ever visited. It certainly earned my vote.

I was looking for a new veterinary doctor to take my Springer Spaniel to, as he was in need of some medical care. I went to Alpine, and I am so very glad I did. What wonderful staff. I mean it. They are all so considerate and personable. They are compassionate care givers,beyond what I have ever experienced before at a veterinary office, not only for your pet, but for the pets owner as well. I was extremely grateful that Alpine Veterinary clinic was open on a Sunday and til 7pm, as I was really hoping to get all my cat’s vaccines updated before I moved into a new apartment complex that coming Tuesday. They saw him right away and during his exam, they discovered that he had several resorptive gum lesions that were causing him a lot of pain. Alpine had his blood work done and a tooth extraction surgery day set before the week was out. Now Jack is recovering at home after a successful surgery and won’t be in horrible pain any longer. I am so grateful for the care they gave him and how soon they addressed the problem I didn’t even know he had. Thank you Alpine Veterinary Clinic!!

Brought our cat in on a Sunday and was extremely pleased with how nice and caring the whole staff was to us. I have recommended this vet to many friends. I also liked the special touch of having Ziggys name on the welcome chalkboard in the exam room as well as a towel laid out with some cat nip.

During pandemic they have developed a way to safely treat pets, keep their staff and human clients safe and still offer responsive service.

I initially brought my dog here due to the great weekend hours, and was impressed by the excellent and thorough staff. I have been bringing my dog here ever-since. Dr. Kelley was kind enough to juggle his schedule around to fit Dozer is quickly when he had an infected paw and needed urgent care. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience at Alpine Vet Clinic! My dog Lucas got a scary puncture wound hiking that needed immediate veterinary attention. Unfortunately all other clinics were already closed for the evening. I was so thankful that Alpine was open late and able to see Lucas. I was also very relieved that the staff and veterinarian were exceptional. They were a pleasure to work with, extremely professional, knowledgable, and were so caring with Lucas. The Vet took time to explain the situation very thoroughly and answered all my worried mom questions. On top of it all, Alpine was very affordable. I found my new Vet!

Our puppy got something in her eye and it got very bad overnight. They got us right in and took such excellent care of our baby girl! Highly recommend this clinic and both dr.s!

Can’t recommend these guys enough, very thankful for their caring thorough service on Sunday evening. After taking my kitten Emmett to Alpine Veterinary Clinic I would highly recommend them. Very friendly staff and a welcoming environment. Dr. Kelley was kind and very helpful. He took the time to get to know Emmett, answer all my questions, as well as my curious 10-year olds questions, and even showed me how to properly clip Emmett’s claws. I’m happy to have found a veterinary health care team that can help me care for Emmett for his entire lifetime.

From the phone call to set up a same day appt through the veterinarian coming out to our car to talk with us after the exam of our dog - our experience with Alpine Veterinary Clinic was outstanding. I felt like the communication here is very poor. I called about our dog who is 14 and could barely stand and was losing her bowels in the house pretty consistently. She also kept falling and getting stuck in the dog door so we knew it was time for her to be out to sleep. We talked about doing it at home vs the clinic but we opted for the clinic so the other dogs wouldnt see. They asked if we wanted to do it in the car which we said yes because she would be more comfortable. When we got there they had us call and the tech came out and had us sign some papers, then they called back and said the vet had to look at the dog first before putting her to sleep. This made sense but they didnt explain they would charge for a full exam. The doctor then said her knees were shot and she had horrible Arthritis but he wanted to try pain meds to see if it would help significantly. We thought why not, because if it did she might get through the year, but at the same time, if it didnt, we didnt want to prolong it. They then called us and said it would be 98 something with the discount, and I paid and then wondered why it was so high for a small bottle of anti-inflammatory meds. They said it was for that and the exam, which they charge $70 for an exam. I was really surprised because our normal vet charges $50. When I asked about the covid discount they said it had been applied but when I looked at the statement I didnt see anything. The receptionist said she would refund the amount as it wasnt applied when I questioned it, and send me an email or call if she couldnt do it. A few days past and it didnt get done. Had to call three times to get it. We went to alpine because it was the weekend and she was declining fast and in a lot of pain despite cbd we had been giving her, and I had met the owner previously and he seemed nice so I thought we would try it out since it was closer. I regret doing it now. The owner wasnt the vet that we had, but when I called back to say that she wasnt improving and actually was getting worse, they said they would have to do another exam to see how she was doing. So basically I didnt know if they were trying to make money off us, but they had originally said to try the meds for 2 weeks and if no improvement then put her to sleep, but when I called about it they said they would have to do a recheck first. We did not want to go through that emotionally and keep drawing it out and see her day after day keep falling and having so much pain, in addition to having to keep paying for exams and also being more exposed to people with covid. I called our normal vet at Brookswood and they told me they would probably charge a $45 dollar consult fee in addition to putting her to sleep but ultimately the decision was ours because we knew our pet. This was what I would have expected, for a clinic to be upfront and honest about everything, rather than our experience at alpine having a plan and then totally changing it when we got there. Our dog finally was laid to rest at Brookswood and we had the best experience possible where they had a special room for us and gave dog treats and a bed, and even a gurney so she didnt have to suffer any more and walk around. The vet examined her and talked about quality of life and didnt pressure us in any direction either way. She saw that our dog could barely stand and didnt try to make us feel bad about bringing her in. They also only charged us for euthanasia and didnt even charge the consult fee. She was so peaceful and was finally able to relax lying down whereas she had been in pain for a few weeks. All in all, I would recommend Brookswood for anything as they have been amazing with all our dogs throughout the years. Perhaps Alpine will improve over time as they are a fairly new clinic, but our experience was not very good and I felt like it was somewhat sketchy the way they ran things.

Good experience, I moved to Bend with an elderly frenchie with heart issues.They were able to put him on meds and we got a few more good months with him at our side.When it was his time the staff was great in making the process easy and comfortable.

Took our cat in after he bad been missing for a month to get him checked out. It was late at night, last minute and we were unsure what we could be facing. They calmed out nerves, took amazing care of him. And help reassure us that everything was okay. We left with a clean bill of health and a new vet for the future! Cant wait to work with them again!

Dr. Kelley and his staff are fantastic! They were able to get our new kitty in for an exam at a time that worked for us. Once there, Raven the cat was well taken care of, the exam room we were shown to as soon as we walked in was set up for cats. Not staying in the waiting area while a dog was hanging out waiting for its owner to finish at the counter saved her some stress. The room itself had cat toys, treats and catnip to keep her occupied during check in and her exam.

This office was so gracious and professional when we brought our dog in for an emergency wound. They got us in right away and everyone made us so comfortable and confident. I wish this office was in our town. Thank you so much.

On our cross country trip, our 12 year old Boston began to rapidly decline. Just two weeks before our trip, our vet confirmed that Torie was going blind and showing signs of neurological problems. We hoped this would be a slow progression, knowing this would be her last vacation with us. We did not expect her to decline so fast and found ourselves for two days debating the end of life issue and in an area where we had no cell phone coverage. As we approached Bend, OR, we began a google search and found Alpine Vet and made an appointment for as soon as we arrived in town. The staff were very compassionate and made us as comfortable as possible, ushering us into a back room for privacy. My husband and I were a sobbing mess as we said goodby to our dear Torie. Dr. Kelly was amazingly patient with us, didn’t rush us, and assured us we were making a good decision. He was kind and genuinely compassionate. All went smoothly. They made all the arrangements to have her cremated remains sent back home. Thank you to Dr. Kelly and all the staff for getting us through this very difficult time. Ive had dogs for 15 years, but I have never been to a vet who sat down with me for a good 10-15 minutes and explained what to be aware of, what vaccinations were essential and why, asked me about where I travel and what kind of exposure my dog gets to stuff, and laid out a health checklist for me to understand. Now I know WHY Im doing all these things Ive been instructed to do for years!

Dr. Kelly and his staff are absolutely amazing! They treat my animals with love, patience, kindness, and quality care. They call me the next couple days after our appointments to check on how our fur babies are doing, and that level of follow up is truly appreciated and valued! Alpine Vet has has been our choice of care for over 15 years.

Ive been taking my animals to Dr hill for over 20 years. I referred a family member to Alpine and they had a positive experience there with Dr Kelley. Such a great team. Dr Hill helped me take care of my pup when i was just a teenager starting out on my own, he always helped minimize the financial burden as much as he could. And he was the one who was with me 17 years later when I had to put that pup to sleep. He even sent me a nice condolence card signed by him and the staff. Very family friendly, and local too.

Dr. Bleuer was very patient and compassionate. The staff doted on and spoiled our pup (who is not very comfortable at vets). They even used Cheez-Wiz to coax him out of hiding and helped him feel comfortable. They were incredibly patient and gentle with him. His experience was fantastic as was ours.C not recommend them enough!! From the medical staff to the managers, the team is fantastic!

Dr. Kelley and the staff at Alpine Vet Clinic are amazing, thoughtful and kind. Sadly, I had put my 14 year old Tiger (cat) to sleep yesterday and did not want to put him through stress of a 20-minute drive to our regular vet. After numerous phone calls to find a veterinian closer to my home who uses a compassionate approach, I made the decision to go to Alpine Vet Clinic. This turned out to be the perfect choice.Losing my beloved Tiger was especially difficult and Dr. Kelley and his staff were incredibly compassionate. They suggested that I bring Tiger in at the end of the day when it would be quieter and less stressful for Tiger. Dr. Kelley repeatedly expressed his sorrow throughout our visit and was so soothing and gentle with Tiger, allowing me to hold him throughout the entire process and to take much time as we needed while spending our last time together. I was sobbing pretty hard as I turned to leave and Dr. Kelley reached out with kleenex and a big hug. His empathy is genuine and unusual in a world where so much about life is superficial and rushed. I had a friend who came to support me and we both agreed that Alpine is where we will bring out pets from now on.Thank you Dr. Kelley and staff at Alpine Vet Clinic.

It doesnt get any better than this! What a sweet and sunny crew. And a doctor who has gone above and beyond taking care of our baby when shes been sick. Its also been a joy coming in when shes healthy. Feels like a small town caring vet in our growing town. Love that theyre here!

I will never go to another vet in oregon everybody was so friendly and willing to help out Dr. Bleuer did a great job in explaining everything to us and also appreciated that the whole team examined my pet in the room with as me it is a big plus for me to see what they do to my dog great job by the whole team

I have taken my cats and my dog there for about 10 years and have no complaints to share. The vet and staff were extremely kind and sensitive when my dog had to be euthanized. I really appreciate the vets calm and quiet demeanor.
