I knew Id never get photographed as much as on my wedding day. I had spent a silly amount of money on my wedding dress, and I wanted to be sure the person who altered it was someone I could trust.I found that in Terry. She and I spent many fitting sessions together making sure my wedding dress was perfect for my big day. The process took about three months and in that time she shortened the straps, sewed in a whole new lining, hemmed my long train, created a bustle, and sewed in details to my corset that you couldnt tell werent originally on my dress.Terry is kind, professional, a pleasure to spend hours with, affordable and extremely talented. I got nothing but compliments on my big day. Thank you Terry!

Terry is so sweet and helpful! She is excellent at what she does. Whenever I have an alteration, I will look no further. She altered my wedding dress, added a bustle and worked with a variety of layers, fabrics and beads.

Terry is amazing! I bought a dress for my sons wedding - loved the dress but hated the short sleeves! I found the same dress on ebay for a good price (not my size), so I bought it to use as material to add sleeves o the dress. I found Terry at Needle & Thread, and she made long bell sleeves for the dress that came out beautiful! When finished, the dress looked like it came with the added sleeves!!! I will not take my tailoring to anyone else but Terry in the future!!!

Needle and Thread is the BEST alteration/seamstress business in Bend, hands down!!! After trying a few other places in town for different occasions, I was never satisfied with the service or results. I am SO GRATEFUL to have found Terry at Needle and Thread. She is the friendly voice on the phone when you call, and the bright and welcoming smile when you go to her shop. She has an adorable studio, its cozy and smells like amazing essential oils. She spends time with you to really create the perfect fit. You can tell, that she truly loves what she does. Terry is literally the best. She is a superhero tailor, so flexible and responsive, and will tailor (Ha!) Her services exactly to your alteration needs! She just really gets it and is such a kind human, always radiating happiness and light and making kick butt gorgeous garments. I never go to fancy things requiring nice fitting clothes but dangit. The next time I need something altered Im taking it to Terry just so we can hang out 😊

This review is long overdue! Even a year later I still think to myself: I need to remember to give terry an online review! A year ago, I called terry in a slight panic as I had a wedding dress that needed altered and only had a couple weeks to get it done in. Terry worked with my long work hours and was always so pleasant. Just from the first conversation on the phone I knew she was the right person for me! Her work is amazing! She even created straps for my dress that match impeccably! I could never say enough good things about Needle and Thread Alterations! Thank you Terry for all of the time and care you took with me as a panicked bride to be. You truly have a heart of gold and the talent and skills to match it!

She does a great job and is reasonably priced. We have used her for alterations on wedding gowns to simple pant hems. Highly recommend Terry!

Brought in an item that needed to be brought in an inch. Brought it to her in May she said she could get it done by August. August came and went... so did September and October... after numerous attempts to get in touch with her she finally got back to me and made a ton of excuses for why the simple tailoring wasnt done yet. Then on top of all that she got it done in a week and charges me 45$ OVER the price she qoated me because apparently it was hard to sew. Why be in business of things are too hard for you?
