We have used Weed Man from Benbrook for about three years now and have seen definite improvement in our lawn. As I work from home, I see when they arrive and leave. They are always careful to check that my dogs are not out before they start and when I have asked about certain areas of the lawn I am concerned about, they go over what they are doing and what they plan to do to address those areas. The technicians have also promised to come back and re-treat if necessary.They do try to upsell a lot, grub control, aeration etc, which are usually pretty expensive and I often opt to do those myself to save money, though we have hired them do both services once. That is the only reason I am providing a four-star review. I have never dealt with anyone in their office, and am therefore unable to comment on the poor reviews Ive read about their customer service.My neighbor asked if we were happy with their service after seeing bad reviews on other sites and I shared the same information. Hopefully the company will work harder to address those reviews as the actual lawn service is effective for us. And for the guy who thinks people are paid to give good reviews . . . not so with this one.

We have used Weed Man in Fort Worth, TX. We had a minor issue and they were quick to come and resolve--i.e., they came to our house the next morning! Very professional and kind technicians. I would definitely recommend!

I have used Weedman for about 10 years. They apply 8-10 treatments though out the year. I pay annually, so I get a discount. It took the first year before I saw a reduction in weeds and a healthier lawn, and well worth It. The few times I’ve had a weed patch pop up, I’ll call them and they’ll either come spot treat it or take care of it on their next visit. I’ve never had bad customer service, technicians always polite and everyone always wants to be helpful. Oh, in Feb and March, when weeds start popping up in yards when temps rise and more sunshine, my yard and others on the street that use Weedman, are the only yards with no weeds. I highly recommend the annual plan (8? Treatments) but give it a year or so to see results.

Weed Man has done a great job on our lawn and their prices are reasonable. My wife is great in the yard but we dont have the time to do everything we want. This company does a great job. Our lawns are looking great. Highly recommend this company.

Tried to set up their service at my new home. Got a phone call shortly after I thought everything was confirmed and the rep was very rude after confusion on their end on who I was and my property address.To top it off no one ever showed up to do any work!

I experienced the absolute worst service ever! I signed on with their service initially but later canceled due to them never showing up. I called week after week was told they were coming but they never came, nor did they call to reschedule. They later called me and ask if I would consider giving them a second chance. They explained that they were backed up due to weather and they were working on changing things within the company. I also explained to them clearly that I had tree saplings in the yard and that I was hesitant to sign up because I was going to have all the sod removed and new sod installed in order to remove the tree saplings. I had just moved into this house and I didnt want to spend any unnecessary money if I didnt have to. It would only defeat the purpose to pay for treatments if I needed to get new sod installed. The sales person on the phone assured me that the solution they used was very strong and that it would kill the saplings. I took his word for it being that he was supposedly the expert and had experience. I agreed to give them a second chance. I asked if I would still receive the introductory price of $24.99 for the first month, in which I was told when I first signed up. They told me they couldnt honor that but would give me a free treatment later towards the Spring. Once I arrived home there was a note on my door stating that they advise me to just keep the lawn mowed low and that was the only solution. I immediately called them and told them that they mislead me and told me something different. I canceled service and later received a bill in the mail saying that they did two treatments in one day. (After reviewing my camera it didnt seem like they did much of anything). I only was told there would be one treatment and I only authorized one treatment. I called and explained this to them and they told me that they just went ahead and did one because it was good to get the second one in before the end of the year. I received calls about my bill and I explained that I did not give permission for anyone to do two treatments. I spoke with several reps and they also said they understood and that things should not have happened that way. I was always told that they would figure it out and get back with me. They never did. I dont mind paying for what I owe, but I dont think it is right to pay for something I didnt approve of. I later receive a call from a rep in customer service/billing from KIm. Kim was very rude and unprofessional. You would have thought she was calling to collect money from a criminal from a bail bond she paid. her tone and professionalism was awful. I asked to speak with her manager and she placed me on the phone with Jennifer (who sounds just Melisa B.). Jennifer was just as rude and I see why Kim was so happy to put Jennifer on the phone. Jennifer was just as rude as Kim. They were a true reflection of each other. A true business definitely starts from the head. Then they went on to no listen and debate back and forth with me and disregard everything I tried to explain. If this is how they go by collecting money, it is a disgrace. They also went as far as to throw their sales team under the bus and say that the sales rep dont know what they are talking about or dont have any say. This company does not communicate to each other well. I called and spoke with Melissa B and asked if someone could please listen to the conversation I just had with the billing reps.I wanted someone to hear how rude they were. She then told me that the boss is right across from them in the same room and can hear when they are on the phone calls. This really stunned me that the boss would approve of such manner. No need to reach out to customer service if they are all alike! Just RUDE! I will never use this service and I advise others to be aware. The customer service is awful!! I paid my bill but it was definitely money WASTED!

I will not recommend The Weed man (head office is located in Argyle) to anyone. If you are currently using them, I recommend you have you camera on all the time. Whatever they are spreading on your lawn contains Weed. You will find your lawn actually got worse with weed once you start their services. Also they cheat customers because when they to spread whatever they have come to spread on your lawn (fertilizes, weed control, etc.) they WILL NOT spread on all the required areas but only one part of the lawn). The staff will only spend 3 minutes at your house and then spend rest 9 minutes writing so they can leave receipt at your front door. I caught them on camera that they did not perform the service they were supposed to have and so also a friend in Coppell, Texas. They also have the worst experiential customer service. If you complain, they dont offer solutions. They messed up my lawn summer 2018 (my grass got burnt by whatever summer application they did) and I have to replant new ones. The staff that come out to your house do not do what they are supposed to do, This is the worst company and am surprised I stayed for 3 years . Those that gave 5 stars must be new customers or were paid to give 5 stars rating.

My yard has never looked better! Anytime Ive called them to ask them to come spray or respray theyre always so polite and never agitated when I asked! Service like this is hard to find!
