Look, I dont expect a lot from a discount salon located in the front of the local Wal-Mart, and I get that Covid-19 restrictions have required personal care services to make a lot of changes, but having to book 3 or 4 days ahead and then getting calls hours before your scheduled slot to reschedule, on top of charging $20 to fix my fade is inexcusable. If Covid taught me anything its that I can cut my own hair if I have to and save myself the time and hassle, plus the $20. Hard pass.

Jcpenney salon is much better. Always feel theyre like a factory here - in out in less than 15 minutes with no real style or advice. I go to a professional salon now and its worth it. This just popped up because I went into walmart for my cousin!!

Read hours on website...drove an hour to get there ...they were not open...waited an hour and a half no employee showed up...terrible customer service..if you advertise hours then be there during those hours

My son and I both got haircuts here that made us look good. Friendly staff, but under-staffed on that day. Only one staff person working on a shift is not good management.

Every staff we have encountered when in the hair salon or even just walking by is always so friendly. Oldest son needed a trim and staff helped him out with great cut. He is very happy! (And looking good)

Manager was rude impolite and smelled like booze. When she got to my hair it was patchy

Hours stated that they would be closing at 8pm. Show up at 7:15pm for a mens haircut. Not a single person in the salon. Ask if he could get a quick haircut. As she was sitting there, doing nothing, says she is no longer taking appts. I look around again. Not a single person. Says she needs to clean.....yet was just siting there. What needs to be cleaned if your not cutting hair?? Then dont state you are open until 8pm. Close the doors. Waste of time and energy.

This rude woman that works there was rude to the woman whose child hair she was cutting. Shoved her and threatened to call the police. Totally unprofessional behavior.

Well had a kids haircut done and I look at it after I get home that it wasnt really cut well and looks chopped up on top of my sons hair and not to mention the long hairs that never got cut behind the ears. Probably never go back here and I only did because my other place I couldn’t make it to my appt on time so I hide here. Sorry to say but not going here again.

I asked for a very SIMPLE cut. I left with one side of me head shaved less than half of an inch and the other side almost two inches longer and UNBLENDED! It’s so unfixable and I am so upset. The woman who cut it is apparently new with long pink hair and glasses. I am so, so sad and disappointed because there is a woman there who always does an amazing job and I can’t remember her name. But this was the worst haircut i have ever had. It will take MONTHS for it to grow enough to even be properly blended. If I could leave a negative star I would. I wish I could post the photos !

Not a bad place, go hear cuz why not. It usually gets cut just fine but I have gotten better ones other places.

I am a huge fan of this salon!! I have made it my regular place to get cuts and color.... I am so impressed with the friendly atmosphere and knowledge, that I find myself recommending this salon to everyone that comments on my cut or color. What a boost in confidence!!!!

I have had Hallie cut my hair and she is amazing. These ladies work their behinds off and they are awesome!

Terrible, stylist did not ask how much i wanted off the ends and ended up chopping nearly half of my hair off. layers were extremely in consistent. my bangs were longer than the hair going over my ear. the side shave was extremely patchy as well. :) I only asked for a trim, tyvm. youre better off going to fantastic sams or the fringe salon. my hair was really nice but i guess thats what i get for going to a salon ran inside of a walmart.

Heat prices for great hair cuts.

Staff is super nice and knowledgeable about products and styles. Would recommend and go there again!

This may seem unlikely, but this salon is one of the best in Bemidji in my opinion.

If I could give less than one star I would. The old lady who works there is incompetent and stinks like cigarettes. All of the staff are dressed like slobs.

I was not happy with the outcome of haircut ☹️ would not go back.

We thought this salon was the only one open on Sunday. We called, no answering machine to say hours etc. So we showed up at 1pm and they were closed even with posted Sunday hours til 4pm. It was kind of an inconvenience.

Awful. They wasted my time, energy, and gas to lie to me. So for the record, they dont do relaxers for ethnic hair, like the website or staff on the phone say. Especially if you did your last one with a store bought kit. I will never patron there again.
