We switched over to State Farm and specifically Sara Labraaten’s office in March of 2020. They immediately were able to save us money on our two vehicles and renters insurance from our current provider so we made the leap! We personally work with Courtney Fox at the Bemidji office as she was the one who initially quoted us and saved us money. She helped us get set up with the drive safe app because we were concerned about cost when we went from a 2002 CRV to a 2016 Pilot in the summer and I was furloughed around the time due to Covid impacts. The savings promised were realized after the first term of using it! We also had a windshield mishap traveling over Christmas o. Our new to us vehicle. The crack grew as we continued on so we called Courtney because we knew we couldn’t wait to get back to Bemidji to have it fixed. She immediately contacted the place we took it to in order to make sure it was all set up. We didn’t have to even take out an insurance card because she gave The repair shop all of our information before we even pulled in. We will continue to grow roots with this insurance office. The customer service here cant be beat! I had a great experience with Sara Labraaten state farm. A local agent is always nice to have available if you have quick questions or need assistance as they are generally more helpful and caring. I personally had Sandy Burgoon. Sandy was a joy to work with and she truly CARED about me which made the whole process more enjoyable and fun. The only reason I docked it a star, was because for me, personally, they were a bit more expensive than another company when I purchased my new vehicle. Normally, I stick with a company based on their customer service only, but in this case I couldnt afford to do so with my financial situation. I would highly recommend Sara Labraaten State Farm!

The worst of the worst customer service ever. Do not USE it.We have been using State Farm for years, they were professional at the time when we were buying the insurance.When my car got hit by other car, and it’s 100% other party’s fault, I thought I could call local State Farm where I bought the insurance for suggestions and advices, but the answer I got from State Farm: I only got to talk to the receptionist, the claim expert is too busy to talk to me over the phone, the answer is talk to the other insurance company, we will only do “this” for you when you file a claim with us.If my own insurance is so helpless when I only ask for suggestions or advices, I can not imagine how will they treat me when I file a claim with them.

Ive had state farm with this branch for over 2 years with simple liability insurance for an 05 vehicle my bill has been around $56 a month and now has skyrocketed too $125!?!?!?!. I have a perfect clean record and 2 years of loyalty and now Im being robbed blind, Im switching ASAP.
