Great place once I set up an account. I was able to place my order over the phone and have my contractor pick it up. The only improvement would be more people to help so your not waiting for a long time. I recommend them. We need one in Bowie!

1) It is illegal to request payment in full. MHIC regulations clearly state that a contractor can ONLY request 1/3 as a deposit. 2) Their MHIC # is nowhere on their site - also against regulations. Steer Clear!

I have NEVER in my life received such exceptional service from any retailer! Let me tell y’all about Jeff, the manager of Lumber Liquidators Flooring in Beltsville. You might not even believe what I’m going to say!I recently purchased a house & immediately started renovations. Within the last 2 weeks, I have visited this store multiple times to buy flooring. Once the project was over, I had one unopened box of floor panels that I went in the store to return.As soon as Jeff saw me unloading my car, he quickly ran to the door to meet me. He opened the door, kindly greeted me, and took the heavy box from my hand. I followed him to the register to start my return. He asked me how my thanksgiving was and we had small talk. I ended up telling him that I recently saw that the floors I had purchased during my renovations had went on sale & joked about the fact that I should’ve waited 2 weeks to start my renovations. His response was “let me see about that.”Y’all, this man went and refunded me the difference of what I paid and the sale price of ALL the floors I purchased. I thought I would be walking out with a $60 refund but ended up leaving the the store with over $400 in refunds. I spent a lot of money these last few weeks between a down payment on a home & renovations. Not to mention, Christmas is right around the corner and I’m a single mom. This was truly a BLESSING.Jeff - THANK YOU SO MUCH. THAT MEANT SO MUCH TO ME! You were a HUGE blessing to not only me but also my family!!!To me, kind acts mean SO much, ESPECIALLY with the state that this country is in! If we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic, Jeff would’ve had no choice but to receive a very tight hug! I’m just truly so appreciative!Jeff - ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU! Very poor customer serviceI was told my order was to be delivered weeks ago and up till now I have not receive it. I spoke with the store manager he was not professional at all I personally will not refer anyone to that company.I had a Very bad experience. I called fedex for my order and fedex said the company has possession of my order but they lied that the order is with Fedex according to the store manager at laurel. I called so that they can hear from fedex they refused to answer their phone.

James was an excellent sales person. Our experience was very good as James explained the wood floor options, pricing and financing. We had estimates from Empire and Next Day Floors - Lumber Liquidators pricing estimates were more affordable than other companies

Pretty good place. There person I spoke with really seemed knowledgeable about the flooring which was a great help. Pretty slow to give me the flooring after the purchase, but it is a warehouse. Yes, would ship here again.

One of my friend recommend this place.I went there to buy hardwood for my house i brought more then $7000.00 material from there and i asked at that time can i return the unused material. the person who was working over there that day said i can return any undamaged materials but when i went there to return he said he will only accept unopened box and he refused one box which was mistakenly opened by worker its cost around $150.00 .they will welcome you nicely when you go to buy the material and unhappy when you go to return

Wide selection of floors.

Were in the midst of a flooring project and are considering cancelling. Customer service is horrible, lack of explanation of products and procedures. The professionalism, and promises to following-up arent honored. Delays in products are suppose to arrive. Outright tales? Not certain. Steer you towards other products and services without any real explanation Lots of uncertainties and time spent on the phone with them. Its like the customer has to manage them. Way too.much involved. As another customer stated, is it really worth it?

I was surprised what a good experience I had here. As good if not better selection and price as Lowes or Home Depot. I ended up with vinyl plank flooring at a better price than I found at either of those. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful at both the Beltsville and Frederick locations.

I installed our wood floors, however the project took a bit longer than was anticipated since we had to work around our contractors. Finished up about 5 days outside their 30 day return window. Now I have 2 boxes leftover and nowhere to put them and they will not take them back.Service on phone and in store was poor. Took forever to get the delivery.

The prices are good but customer service is very poor. The poor customer service almost negates the competitive pricing.

I would not encourage anyone to shop at this store, except if you plan to deal/work with Kanessa, her customer service skills are exemplary. She is very pleasant and knows her job very well. She does not need to be micro-managed.On the other hand, the manager Mustapha is very unpleasant and he has his nose stuck up in the air. His dealing with customers is very poor. I asked him about a product today, he never took the time to explain any details about the item only to say, they are over there and pointing to the item and at that specific time the store was not at all busy. How rude when one spends hundreds of dollars so he can earn. Maybe some Customer Service training is required.

Fast Friendly services

Worst customer service I have ever had at a place like this. Waited for 10 minutes with one person in front of me. Then, they told me it would be a half hour before they could get my one box. I was taking a lunch break to get this, needless to say, I couldnt wait around for it. Plus, I ordered the stuff on line in February, and they called at the end of April to ask how the product was working. This was the first I had heard from them. Cheap, but I will go elsewhere next time.

The beltsville store have horrible customer service. The manager mustafa is rude and speaks over people not a good place to shop at all they are a rip off. They do not provide detal information about their products. Very very very poor customer service.

This company in a word: scam. They charge $25 to come take measurements. Then they give you an outrageously high quote to which you must say no. They keep the $25.

They suck. Told me over the phone I could return an item. Brought it back, wouldnt take it.

I only gave them 1 star because I could not give them a zero. The policy and procedures are so screwed up and geared towards ripping you off. They have no interest in the DIYr or independent contractor. They make you sign waivers before you can see your product and if you dont like it and want to return, they take 20% for restocking fees and the product never left the building. You cant open any boxes to see if what you bought is what they have displayed in the showroom. If you open the box they Will Not give you your money back. Very horrible and rude customer service reps. And the list goes on!

Just google FBI Lumber Liquidators. It is ridiculously cheap because its illegal. Just talked to them, they dismissed it as bad apples and bad media.
