I used a Groupon deal for this service and couldnt be happier. I wouldnt have thought about paying anyone to clean my car but decided to try it out since the deal was pretty good. The lady at the front desk was warm, friendly, organized, and professional. Now, my car looks even better than the day I purchased it. All the dog hair from our previous pup (who has been re-homed!) is gone as well as the residual smell.I was initially turned off by the businesss name, but I wont judge a book by its cover, especially if the reviews are this good. I can also respect the fact that those who prefer to have their car routinely professionally cleaned/polished might like that kind of marketing. Even though I used a Groupon for this service, the quality of the work makes it an excellent value even without a discount. Highly recommended!

The owner Damon, came out and personally inspected my vehicle and assured me that I would be well taken care of. I was asked to wait in the waiting room which was very clean, especially the bathroom, wifi equipped and featured a TV and music to kill the time. While waiting any questions I had were addressed immediately. A customer that I spoke to while waiting loved the way that they cleaned his car and mentioned that he felt that this was the best detail shop in the area.When I got my truck back I was thoroughly impressed...I went through the truck like a military drill sergeant looking for missed areas like door jams and vents...couldnt find anything. The swirl issues that I had were gone completely also. They did a excellent job! I will be coming back!

I went today and the car came out looking like new they washed the car and the detail the took was amazing they where fast and efficient 100% recommend definitely going back to this shop. Update: I went on 5/12/21 to get a carwash today is 5/18/21 it rained all weekend and the car still looks clean best car wash.

My husband’s car was being used for work before he got promoted to a company vehicle so I brought his car for detailing (it was filthy!!) 😂. When I called, the person on the phone was very professional and nice. When I arrived, he immediately did a walk around of the car and told me it would take 2 and 1/2 hours. I was given the WiFi and enjoyed the a/c and quiet waiting room. They finished a half an hour early and wow! The car looked great! The inside was spotless and smelled great! I had no complaints at all about the service and will definitely be bringing my own car next time!

I had a horrible customer experience at another detailing center so didnt follow through with the service. I saw all the positive reviews for Shine My Ride so I decided to go here and boy did they live up to expectations AND beyond! From the start of the phone call to schedule, the gentleman was incredibly kind and professional. When I got there, everyone I interacted with was giving off nothing but good energy and a smile under their masks. They made me feel so comfortable and welcomed and respected.The detail job was impeccable! I had so much dog hair in there but they got it all out including the stains on my beige upholstery. They really took the time to do what was right. I cant recommend this place enough!

Took my truck in to get it detailed and got the Executive Detailing $350. They did the job on the day I called and had to do a little extra on the body to clean it up. The truck looked pretty good when it was done. However when I got home and was washing the windshield because it was not clean, I noticed the roof of the truck was also not done. I called the guy back and took it back and he immediately wiped down the roof with some spray and it was OK. Also the cab corner caps where broken off. These are plastic parts on the Ford F250 that get pretty brittle with age and they where not good anyway. But they where both broke off the truck and in the back bed. They never said a word to me about that. That was $225 to get the parts get them painted and installed. They also power washed the engine compartment. They have warings inside they do this and are not to be held responsible. Never the less the next day the throttle body of the truck starts acting up. turns out it was shorted out with water exposure. That was $650 to get that fixed. That was a really expensive detailing plus some extra work!

I have a great experience each time. Whenever it is time to get my car detailed, this is the first and only choice I have. I have both gone to the shop and waited, and had them come to me to clean my car while @ work. Each time as good as the last. It never takes too long, and they are really good and detail oriented (Ha! u see what i did there?) but really... its awesome. And the prices are very reasonable, esp to also offer mobile services.

I am new to Maryland and recently had damage to my car from my parking garage. A cleaning chemical residue leaked onto my paint and windshield and I was devastated and didn’t know what it was at first or even how to clean it considering it was on the paint. I work close by to Shine My Ride and decided to go there based on my boss going there and giving his recommendation. I was thrilled with the work and compassion that they had! I came in and showed them my car and they were able to find out what it was and make an appointment to clean my car to hopefully fix it the next day. When I came the next day they were efficient and friendly and wanted the best for me. They worked on what schedule I needed and were able to recover my car to its original self while sealing it and making it look like new! I bought my brand new 2016 Honda Civic to Empire for the first time and was blown away. Damon gave me a two minute lesson on how to protect my car during the cold months and suggested ways I can maintain my car in between details and washes. He was very nice, kind and engaging. I appreciated the one-on-one advice considering I dont know that much about protecting a cars exterior. After my car was finished, I noticed that Damon personally inspected it before handing over the keys. When I looked at it - it looked better than when I bought it off the lot a month ago! The offered a few options for exterior wash and waxing for a reasonable price so I purchase one. At the end my car looked like new! Well, still old but nice old. Used this company for the first time this past weekend and these guys did a really good job on my car. It looked completely different when they were done so I was pleased. The place is further than walking distance for restaurants & stores, but I was okay waiting because I had my laptop. The waiting room is clean and pretty comfortable. My car turned out really nice so my overall experience was good.

I brought my truck in for a interior detailing job initially and added a few things once I got there. They did a truly excellent job and I was very pleased. I had bought a Groupon for the interior detailing and decided to go ahead and have them wash and was the exterior as well. The wax job looked great!The only negative thing I would say is that with their policy of charging more for dog hair you can bet they will charge you even if they see a little dog hair. For me that meant an extra $30 for a truly small amount of hair on the back floor mat so that seemed a bit much. I can totally see it if there is a good bit of hair but I think this was an easy way to pad the fee. If I use them again I will just be sure to vacuum out the little bit of dog hair which would have only taken me 5 minutes and save myself an extra fee.All in all though, my truck looks fantastic. They did an excellent job with cleaning up the outside of the truck and it completely impressed me that the underside of the wheel wells were all cleaned out and shined including the tires themselves. They looked like it had just rolled off the factory line. The wax job was incredibly well done. I believe I will be going back to get my front light casings cleaned up and get rid of the yellowed aging look on them.I recommend this company!

I went in to Shine my Ride to get tints on my car. Damon, the owner, was very professional from the moment I called in to schedule my visit. He provided me with all the appropriate information to make a decision. The tint contractor was professional as well. Once the job was done, Damon walked me through the finished product and educated me on how to care for the newly added tints. I was very happy with my decision to use Shine my Ride and would HIGHLY recommend.

I first experience Empire Auto Detailers -Shine My Ride a few years ago, when I had my sons windows on his car tinted and I was extremely pleased with the great customer service by the Owner, Damon. I bought a new car in November and I immediately called to make a appointment to get my windows tinted. I have had wonderful experiences with this company and they always come through with wonderful detailing. I have referred several people. Its a very comfortable seating area for you to sit and use the Free WiFi while you wait for your car. Its worth the time.

I’ve been taking my car for detailing service for like ten years now. Best thing about it is that I’ve always been lucky when it comes to finding a good spot. I’ve never had any complaints before. But when it comes to this particular one, Shine My Ride that I first tried out a few weeks back, I was really disappointed. They did not perform the tasks I had asked them to do thoroughly, the interior was not clean at all to be honest. Even the manager himself was somewhat snobbish when I tried to ask him what really happened or why did they rush the detail. I was really furious with these guys. What a bad first experience with these guys. I’ve never seen such bad customer service before… Not willing to come back here any time soon.!

As a Realtor I have to have a clean and pristine car to take my clients in. Shine My Ride did a good job doing the interior shampoo and exterior hand wash. Only exception is that the hatch back trunk which is upholstered was not clean as part of the interior shampoo. #RealtorNicola

I purchased the New Car detailing option and what a great job Shine My Ride did for me. Every nook and cranny was sprayed out with compressed air and either shined or conditioned. My leather seats look great as does the whole car and an excellent job with the sealant as well. I highly recommend this business and its also nice to have a quality detailer in the Beltsville-College Park area! I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Good management Damon is fantastic, he allowed me to leave my truck a day before my appointment, when i came in he was very nice, he explained to me what i will get with my Groupon voucher, what dirt may or may not come out of the carpet (we all know that not all the dirt can be removed). He then went on and inspect my truck and i left it for over night. when i came back the next day, the truck was like brand new, they cleaned the carpet, washed and waxed outside the truck everything was excellent. I will definitely come again and bring my wifes cars.

I had my Infiniti detailed here and they did an EXCEPTIONAL job! Both the exterior and interior of my car was carefully cleaned and the shine stayed for weeks, even through rain! What I really love is no matter if you are spending $20 or $200, your car will look like you spent a million! Also, the waiting area is customer friendly and very clean. I would recommend this establishment.

The interior of my car, after a very rainy lacrosse season was really gross. Shine My Ride did an amazing interior detailing (I got the basic interior detail, plus the additional ceiling and visor cleaning). It looks as close to new as a 2009 Yaris could. The gentleman I worked with was very nice, and professional, and made very helpful recommendations, I never felt like I was being pushed or up-sold. I will definitely return and recommend to anyone.

The owner is very hands-on and courteous with his customers. Once my car was finished, I thought I was driving off the lot with a brand new car! The only add-on that was needed was for the actual car wash (I got the interior done with a Groupon) and ceiling cleaning. The waiting area was very accommodating and comfortable. We often take the dog to the park in the car, so it doesnt take long at all before it looks like we upholstered it in dog fur. Ive tried to get that pet fur up myself: with a vacuum, lint roller, with a Chom Chom, with one of those silicone things. Listen, Ive tried it all. The only way that comes out of that upholstery is by literally picking out every hair BY HAND.When I bring my car here, it is utterly spotless. In addition to the stuff you can easily see (e.g., pet hair), they folded the seats up and made sure every nook and cranny of the car was cleaned as well.This most recent time, there was inclement weather, and I wasnt able to stay at the shop during the service. Talk about going above and beyond: Damon actually came to my house to get the car. I truly cant say enough good stuff about the job they do. Thank you!
