Its always tough finding an honest and competent mechanic. I lucked out with Jim & Alans. They are fast, dependable, and very fair in their pricing. I would definitely recommend.

I was referred here by a family member who knows the mechanic Mike - from scheduling to bringing in my car, it was a pleasant and easy experience. pricing for brake pad/rotor replacement felt fair, and the people themselves who work here all seem like good dudes. Mike explained the issue to me thoroughly & provided me with a lot of helpful info.i was offered a cold water bottle while i sat and waited for the work to be done, which took about an hour! i’ll definitely continue to bring my car in for future maintenance and repairs.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had going to a mechanic. Idk even where to start, lets start with the miss diagnosis of my vehicle and fixing the wrong thing and charging me $340 dollars for something that didnt need fixed. I was not offered reimbursement for their mistake and after I came back to help me get this fixed they didnt seem to want to help me at all. They put my car back up in the air and basically said they didnt know what was wrong with it and said it could be one particular part and said they would get back with me on fixing it and never received a phone call regarding it after I left..This place is a rip-off and Im still stuck with a messed up car. I do not recommend going here. As a previous mechanic it is a shame. I was also able to diagnose the problem within 5 minutes after I got home so it tells me that they didnt even attempt to look at my car and just guessed the entire thing. I do not recommend going here. Pretty sad when the client has to tell the mechanic how to do their job.

Needed to get a quick odometer reading to get my registration transferred. They were able to get this done on short notice for just a few dollars.

I was referred to them and to my surprise I was very pleased. My appointment was at 1 pm, I got there a little early. At 1 pm they began to look at my vehicle (prompt service) the staff is friendly and trusting, which made my experience that much better. I will definitely be back for them to do more work on my car when needed 👍

Its hard to find a good shop that you can trust. Jim & Allens has always been fair, honest, and upfront with all repairs. I have taken multiple vehicles to them over the years and have always been very satisfied. Alex is always good about explaining the problem before making repairs. Also, to date, I have not had to take any vehicles back for the same issue, they always diagnosed the problem right the first time. I have referred friends and family as well and all have nothing but positive feedback.

What a wonderful experience. Very pleasant and timely. Ladies, you can come here with confidence because they won’t rip you off. I always look my car’s symptoms up online so I can be sure I am not being taken advantage of. I told them I thought it was the a/c compressor, which can cost up to $1000. They could have gone with that and ripped me off, but they were honest. A simple fix and I am on my way!

Walked in looking for the mechanics opinion about getting some work done and what to do about an issue with my vehicle. I was hoping the guy could look at my truck real quick but he rudely said that he couldnt do it and gave me a slip to make an appointment at a later date. Guy couldnt spare 30 seconds. Guess they didnt need anymore customers.

My first choice for car service. Ive recommended them to multiple family members, and all gave had good experiences. They actually explain whats wrong, dont attempt to upsell needed maintenance, and treat my wife like she actually understands vehicles. Only issue with them is that they are constantly busy, so call first for an appointment.

Straight up, hard working guys. Honest and very knowledgeable. After shopping around they are also competitively priced! You cant beat that.

Took a blazer in with a leaking brake line. They told us and charged us for replacing the brakelines and calipers with new ones. All they did was seal the old brake lines. They did not put new ones in. The calipers were used but yet we were charged for new ones. Dont go to this shop they are shady machanics. And when we came to pick up the blazer the machanic was yelling and harrassing us. We took the receipt and the blazer to another shop. The other shop confirmed that Jim and Allens lied about the work and will turn them into the better business bureau. They tried to take advantage of us and lied through theyre teeth. DO NOT GO TO JIM AND ALLENS

Found my new mechanic HANDS DOWN. Referred me to another place to get the tires that would best fit my needs based on cost and availability. On top of that, he had my car to do a brake job, rotors and pads, got them pulled apart and called me to tell me they were only half worn down and I could easily get more out of them, the weather was why I was hearing some squeaking. Extremely honest and knowledgable.

These guys were so professional, very clear about what they were doing for me and how much it cost. And it was very affordable and they got me right in and out. Very friendly.

Always my go to place for car issues. Not scary mechanics who talk down to a silly girl. They stay pretty busy, but make the appointment and you wont have to worry that they will fix what you broke.

Couldnt figure out what was wrong with our car but the never charged me for Al the hours they spent trying to fix it. Great customer service!

Jim & Allens Auto & Tire have been the ONLY place I take my vehicles for MO Safety Inspections and repairs. WHY? Because over the years they have been honest with me. They tell me whats wrong, what it will take to fix it, and how long it will take to complete the repair. And they have never lied or misled me, NEVER! Thats why they get all my business. And if they dont have the means to complete the repair they tell you upfront. Give them a try and youll never be sorry you did.
