I love this place. Have been going for years. Always reliably good and fast service for a fair price. Julie is just best for gel fills. There is so much competition in this industry. Please try this place out, you won’t be sorry!

Feels like she removed the top half of all my nails. It feels gross. All of my fingernails hurt in a weird way. She used the electric file to remove the prior gel polish and then filed more layers off manually. Way too much. Looks nice. Feels horrible. Never going back.

They claim to open at 9am. I walked in at 9:02am on a Wednesday to get something that I believe is simple—a shellac manicure. The woman said there was no one to do it until 10am. Would I like to come back? Hell no! Obviously I’m there at 9am for a reason. Who wants to wait around for an hour when other places are opened? I hate wasting my time and I hate that I wasted the time to Google them, stop in, just to get rejected. If you’re going to have only one nail tech, then open at 10.

I had gone to First Impressions several times prior to COVID-19 (I was recommended by my hair stylist) and always loved their work [SHOUTOUTS TO HELEN!!] They do an amazing job every time, but let me give you a REAL review:First off, I am very picky. So I want to say my thanks for being so patient with me.. Second, I have recently gone back to the salon after several months of the lockdown occurring due to COVID-19. Can I just say WOW? They have social distancing work done all throughout the facility at 6ft apart now that they are reopened. Everything is so clean. There are certificates of COVID-19 health compliance completion all over to let you know they are a professional environment and safe work space. Everyone wears masks and gloves while working and while receiving treatment. At the same time it still remains a very spa-like and stress-free experience. They take cash AND card (tips are cash only).Due to COVID-19 I ended up with several ingrown toenails and my nail technician took the time to get rid of all of them in the most gentle way she possibly could. I needed that so badly and I am so grateful for it. I work in construction and was way overdue for some TLC. A+ on the pedicure. I have NEVER been a foot person and I think my feet are so ugly, but the way she took care of them made them look so cute! The paint job is so clean- I cant stop looking at them! She removed all of the callouses that I had built up from my work boots! I feel delicate again! My manicure was just as pleasant. She took the time to renew my nails for a fresh start before applying an acrylic full set. And THEY WERE A DISASTER before she started working on them! Again,, SO GRATEFUL!The owner came over to me at some point to check in and she was so sweet! She loved the work Helen had did for me. To add to how serious and careful they are about protecting from COVID-19 she even said Normally I would grab your hand and look at them even closer but I cant because of coronavirus! I wish I could! They have a good team there!100% highly recommend First Impressions.

I’ve been here twice now and while the atmosphere is lovely and the polish experience is great, the polish just doesn’t last. The first time, the polish just started peeling — 1/2 my nail or so in one large chunk. And it kept peeling. I tried a different brand the second time but had the exact same issue. This has never happened to me before at other salons, so wanted to let people know!

So far I have only been here once, about 3 weeks ago & my shellac mani still looks flawless (although rather grown out at this point). I was very happy with the service I received for the price. I was not rushed by my manicurist and will definitely be back! This place is clean, friendly & affordable.

Gave this place a few tries because its so close to my apartment. 3 different people did terrible jobs on both my hands and feet. I got 2 regular Mani/Pedis and a dip Mani over the course of 6 weeks. My Mani/Pedis chipped after less than a day. In one case, the girl actually smudged my nail while putting on the top coat and didnt bother to fix it until I forced the issue. The dip manicures are unhygienic - they dip everyones fingers in the same pot of powder. And they started popping off after only a week. Definitely wont be coming back.

The salon had some misunderstanding with my mom one day and over charged her. Other then that day. I have been there many times and I have never had any problems. Hard to understand them sometimes but they are very nice. They require you to make appointments but walk ins are available too. They do a fantastic job on my eye brows, Manis and pedicures.

I hate writing bad reviews but I feel like people should know. Less than 24 hours after my manicure the paint started to peel and chip. If it were a little chip here and there I’d chalk it up to being hard on my hands, or that nail polish just isn’t that durable but this was BAD. So, I called the next day right when they opened and told them what happened. I made an appointment for the following day for a re-do no problem. When I got to the appointment the nail technician said that happens with nail polish and they don’t guarantee anything. I told her this happened less than 24 hours after the manicure was done to which she replied: you came in 2 days ago and we don’t have anyone to take you now anyway. So basically I was told i had a re-do appointment, went and was told I can’t be helped. I wish the person I spoke to on the phone to make the re-do appointment would have told me that so I didn’t wast my time going back. I wish I hadn’t paid so much money for a manicure that didn’t last. So many regrets.Anyway, if you’re looking for a manicure with standard polish, this is NOT the place to go. Literally anywhere else would be better. I’ve never had a manicure that didn’t last at least 4 days. Guess there’s a first for everything.

By far worst experience: Wanted to get my nails done with my daughter and walked inThe owner just takes anyone that walks in without letting them know that they might have to wait for almost an hour and there is chance that we kick you from your chair because someone with appointment walked in.Very unprofessional and poor customer service.
