We had Oz General Contracting Co Inc redo the first level on our house. It started with just the bathroom and kitchen but we decided (mid way through the work 😬) to go ahead and redo the whole main floor. They were able to execute the job well and within a reasonable amount of time. Mike was very patient with us which was very much appreciated. They also fixed anything I was unhappy with and did not make me feel like I had to pull teeth to get those small touch ups done. We appreciate their customer service so much that we have decided to return to them to redo our second floor and basement.Have posted pics of before and after!Thanks for the excellent work & excellent customer service. 🙂👍🏽

We are absolutely thrilled with the work that Oz has done for us. They are truly professionals, and their workmanship is outstanding. Our only regret is that we did not find them sooner. We could not be happier with the work done by OZ. We’ve done countless home renovations over the years and the level of professionalism, attention to detail and attentiveness we got from OZ were unmatched.The design that was done by Uzi (owner) and Lori (designer) was an easy, flexible, and enjoyable process. The level of customer service we received from Mike (the PM) was something we never before experienced. To call him just a project manager is a vast understatement. He checked in nearly every day to keep us abreast of the project status and showed us in detail what work was happening and why. When we had design decisions his considerable experience was invaluable. When the team was shorthanded due to Covid, he put on kneepads and did the work to keep them on track. He never forgot a single item that we discussed and made it unnecessary for us to keep our own punch list.All of this is great but what matters most is the final product and this is where OZ shined. Caesar (crew leader) and his team had impeccable attention to detail and never took a single shortcut. They completely redesigned our kitchen, updated our den, built us a new custom fireplace, installed several new windows and replaced nearly half of the floors in our house. Several months later it is still impossible to find any issues. Everyone who came to our house was polite, professional, and patient with our questions. As far as we could tell they all worked for OZ and none were subcontractors. The cabinets are built here on Long Island by folks who support families on the Island. When they did hit installation issues, the cabinet builders themselves came to the house to resolve them! When friends come over to check out the work, they are consistently amazed and can’t stop complimenting the project.Anyone who has done even a few home projects will realize how rare this all is. We’ll never do another remodel with anyone but OZ. Great work guys!!

First of all we used Oz in 2000 to remodel and extend our house and have been extremely satisfied with their work. They have been there for us whenever needed since the original work. Recently there was a small leak discovered under the wood floors. Oz quickly diagnosed the issue, took care of furniture and belongings, with proper covid 19 protections fixed the issue. Mike and Uzi came over daily to oversee the operation. All work was done professionally, timely and neatly. 20 years plus they are still great at what they do and make customers confident in them..No better!!!!

We cant say enough about OZ contracting. Lori the designer was so patient with us as we designed the smallest bathroom. All aspects of the construction went smoothly. The workers were pleasant and professional and completed the job in 5.5 days. Highly recommend!

Work is performed with great care. My project manager is Mike. He is a wonderful and very helpful gentleman. I highly recommend them for any project in the house.

The BEST contractors on Long Island!!! We have done 2 huge projects with them in the last two years ( kitchen and bath complete gut) and we couldn’t be happier with the work. The PM, owners and workers are all professional, honest and left my home clean each night. USE them!!! You will NOT be disappointed! They are not cheap but you pay for the great work they provide.

We did a complete kitchen, living room, den renovation. The OZ team were professional, always on time and did impeccable work. Highly recommended. Project manager Mike was wonderful, patient, had great ideas and always was available to answer questions.

We contracted OZ to gut and rebuild our main bathroom. They did a fantastic job that exceeded all of our expectations. The crew was neat, polite, and cared about our house and our safety, especially with the coronavirus situation. The price was fair and they began and completed the work on-time, even with a delay in ordering fixtures due to the virus. I highly recommend OZ for your home construction needs.

My wife and I can’t stop singing the praises of OZ – Uzi, Mike, Lori, Chico, Junior, and all the others! The kitchen they have created for us has made us fall in love all over again with our home of 43 years. We look forward each day to using it and enjoying it and marveling at its beauty.Over the years we had made several modest improvements in our small kitchen. For decades we have seen OZ trucks and work crews around the area, so we felt safe to see what they could do for us. Uzi had a vision that we had never considered and it interested us. He presented a detailed visual renditions for us and we agreed. We set a date and he promised that the complete renovation would be done in 3 weeks. Lori took us through the planning and choices, explaining, suggesting, and helping us to find what was just perfect for us. The woodwork was beautifully created by Chico and his team. He contacted us and had us inspect the work before it was sent to us. The project manager Mike, was always available and quickly took care of any questions or problems that arose. Demolition was quick, orderly, and extremely neat. The construction was excellently done by Junior and his team. They were talented, hardworking, thoroughly professional, clean and respectful of us and our home. The results were functional and beautiful even beyond our hopes and expectations and, yes, completed before the promised date!We highly recommend this fine company and anticipate having any future home improvements performed by OZ!

I had the BEST experience ever when I hired OZ to remodel my very old kitchen. Every step in the process was guided by my PM David in a professional, caring and competent way The exceptionally talented craftsmen were on time every day and always made sure to clean up before they left (shout out to Junior, Jose and Johnny!). The quality of the cabinets is outstanding, and Uzis suggestions for the kitchen layout were spot on. Last but not least, all of the ladies in the showroom were pleasant to work with and always responded to my questions in a timely manner. OZ made what could have been a stressful situation a breeze, and I could not be happier with the results!

Update: Please do not call me a liar - you were at my house and I was insulted. As far as the labor comment - you estimate every single cut of a tile in your price......no little extras to cover your high costs of manufacturing and showroom. I stand by my review and used someone else. Not interested in your company or service - so many better contractors out there.Found the owner very insulting during the estimate and decided to go with another contactor. Just rubbed me the wrong way and his prices were much higher then other estimates I received. From what I saw he nickels and dimes you on the labor where other contractor do not. Fancy showroom and manufacturing on Long Island usually means a large overhead.....have to cover your expenses somehow.
