I have gone to V’s twice and my first experience was good enough to give them a second shot. But after going the second time I would highly recommend thinking about getting your haircut here. The reason I gave it a 2 star review is because my experience the second time was a mess. The one cutting my hair was Sasha and he seemed like he had not cut hair ever in his life. Even though I guys he had for several years. He asked me what I wanted in a haircut and I felt like I explained to him what it was I was looking for in a haircut I even showed him a picture. I don’t feel like he had all of the tools either… he told me that we were going to use a number 3 guard and he didn’t have it so he was stumbling around and was then like I’m well we will use a 2. For a company that has higher prices for a haircut. They should have well trained staff with ALL necessary tools and supplies. Sasha also didn’t take the time to trim my sideburns or even trim around the ears. My girlfriend pointed out that the neck line also seemed really patchy like he had cut or trimmed parts of it but didn’t do all of it or even the other side.

Sasha is an excellent barber and provides a comfortable haircut experience! He has great attention to detail and makes sure you are happy with your haircut before you leave.

Adriana did a great job on my 10 year old sons hair. Would recommend again and again!

Ive been getting my hair cut here for almost 3 years now. Absolutely wont go anywhere else. Cooper does an excellent job. Super cool dude and great to talk to. Very clean and love that they are taking the appropriate covid precautions. 100% would recommend.

I live out in the county. Made an appointment for 4 oclock for a 45 minute window. Took me longer than usual to make it into town. Ended up driving 50 minutes to get there. (They give good haircuts so I didnt mind driving just for that) I arrived at the door at 4:12 stood out front for 2 minutes as it looked like I had been seen. Called at 4:14 to say I was out front. I was informed that they had a ten minute window that had passed so it was impossible to see me and that i was free to try to make an appointment a week or so later. I said it it was a 4 minute difference and was told that actuslly it was a 5 to 7 minute window and so I would not be let inside. I understand the need for rules, but I dont think the drive is worth it anymore. Driving almost 2 hours round trip out of customer loyalty and getting turned down didnt feel good. Wont be back.

I recently took both of my kids in to see Britney (sp?) for a haircut and it is hands down the best hair cut they’ve ever had. She was super friendly and made the appointments easy for both of my kids (ages 6 and 12). We will definitely only be seeing her for their cuts from here on out.

Avoid this placecall them and told them we were running a couple minutes behind schedule and that we would like to push our two appointment from one oclock back to 1:10The lady on the phone told me that would be fine.When we arrives,The receptionist Leslie has an bad attitude.She told us that she will only wait for 8 minutes and would not take usThey had four employs doing nothing at the time, And 0 customers in the shop.I ask to speak with the management.There was no manager there at the timeIt was a awfully experience.

My father took me here yesterday, so we could get our haircuts together 2 hours before we had a photo shoot to go to in semiahmoo.My father called them, when we were sitting traffic and we had a delay because of road construction.We got there a couple minutes late.The door was locked,all their lights were on there was no customers inside and there was four barbers .we stood outside the door for a couple minutes.we were told that they would not take us. There was nobody inside the barbershop except for their employees.So its not like they were too busy and didnt have time for our appointments that we scheduled online with them 4 days earlierThe lady that works there was rude to my father and made him really upset on a verry important day.My father asked to speak with somebody else when the lady started to have an attitude with us.After they really upset my father he told them he was going to leave them a review for other people to see, and the employee said HAVE FUN WITH THAT !

My regular haircut place was closed down so I needed a new one, found this place on Google- called at 3pm, booked an appointment for 4:30pm. Showed up and checked in at 4:32, place seemed really relaxed and chill and they offered me a drink and everyone seemed friendly. So I took a seat and waited for them to be ready for me. At 4:40 2 of the stylists finished up and were hanging out at the computer, i figured I would be called soon. At 4:43 a guy walked in for an appointment he scheduled for 4:45 and they took him immediately. One of the stylists was still hanging out at the computer. At 5pm the one hanging out at the computer announced she was leaving for the day and everyone said bye. I had been waiting for 30 minutes and had to pick my dog up from HIS grooming appointment and walked out just before her. Seems like a cool place, but doesnt really mean much if you have to wait over 30 minutes after your scheduled reservation and check in to be seen. This was my first day off work in over a month and I really needed a haircut and a new haircut place to go to. Shame it wont be this place as the vibe seemed my speed.

I had my first haircut since the lockdown today at V’s Barbershop. Satisfying experience, but still the same low price and professional service.Wear your mask. Call V’s when you arrive, then someone comes out to get you. Don’t try to walk in- the door is locked.

So happy to be back getting a haircut. All the precautions i had hoped for and expected from Vs was in place. Felt very comfortable and safe. Excellent job Vs!!!

The place is nice. It’s clean, smells good, friendly staff, and got in right on time, but definitely feels more like a modern chain rather then an old school barber. I went in for a shave and got the deluxe, just because my beard needed a little more then a quick trim. The deluxe was nice, three hot towels, some moisturizer, and a straight shave, but wouldn’t do it again. My trim left me with a crooked lip line, uneven neck line, and my chin was slanted to the left. I ended up straightening things at home. Also I felt like the straight shave wasn’t very close, I didn’t get cut which was nice, but had a little 5 O’clock shadow in areas.

I take my two boys, ages 9 and 11, here for their cuts. The barbers are always so great with them, they do high quality cuts and my kids love that they get to watch a show on their own tv while they get their cut done. My husband also loves going here, and is obsessed with getting The Works. High quality barbering - you wont find a better place in Bellingham!

Do not take children under 2 here during the quarintine. For some reason this company requires children under 2 to wear a face mask at their appointment. Do not take your child here unless they can wear a mask the whole appointment. Does not say anywhere on the website when scheduling an appointment that they are not following the government mandate by letting kids under 2 not have to wear a mask.

It was my first time getting my haircut since the coronavirus lockdown ended. I have had inconsistent experiences at other businesses, so I was nervous about how a haircut could be done safely. I was quite pleased with all of the safety precautions being taken and I actually felt quite safe during my haircut. Plus, my hair looks MUCH better than it did with a shaggy COVID mane. Sonja was my stylist, and she is always awesome!The only downside was that I missed the hot towel and neck massage at the end of the haircut, but I understand and appreciate that current pandemic safety measures prevent those nice touches.

Walking into Vs is like re-acquainting with an old friend youve never met...the gleaming row of barber chairs ...the ambience... takes you to a time long since past...but its friendly service is firmly rooted in the present, inspite of these covid times. Everything is super sanitized in the shop, with precautions taken before you enter, handwashing is requested and mask wearing is (as it should be) mandatory...but why was I there?To get a haircut!*Britny D* knows wild untamed hair (a result of five months of self inflicted hacking during pre-phase 2 covid confinement)...who knew it would feel so great to get a good haircut at the hands of a competent barber...hairdresser person?! Vs is a barbershop, not a hair salon. Barber chairs, clippers, hot lather and a razor on the back of your neck, and a hot towel and neck/shoulder massage. Dont think that makes them unable to cut current styles. Theyll cut your hair how you want it and do a great job. It took me quite a while to find a good barbershop and I wont go anywhere else.
