I had a gas fireplace that wouldnt light. I replaced the thermocouple, tested the thermopile and a few other things which led me to believe it was a bad valve. They no longer make the valve so the options were: find a replacement that might work, or a new fireplace altogether. Allison was super helpful by picking the brains of their techs and researching online, eventually finding a conversion kit that would work. We now have a functioning fireplace thanks to her help, as opposed to replacing the whole unit, for a fraction of of price.

Awful communication and follow-through. If we hadn’t contacted them several times we may still be waiting for our installation date. Still waiting for the thermostat we were billed for almost 2 months ago.We got an estimate for AC installation at the end of June. We ended up selecting an AC and Furnace system, Stephanie the estimator said she would check their inventory so we could choose an option that was available and in stock. Due to it being summer the installation was scheduled to be 6 weeks out. We used their financing option through Wells Fargo and was approved within a few days. We never heard back from West and contacted them about 3 weeks later wondering what day we’d be scheduled. We were told that the furnace we ordered wasn’t in stock and they would schedule us for August. Friday around 3pm before our installation on Monday they called to cancel the installation because the furnace hadn’t arrived and offered to reschedule for a month later in September. I explained that I would rather just have the AC installed because our furnace was still working and we had only decided to replace it per Stephanie’s recommendation. They agreed. Monday morning before our 8am installation they called to tell us the furnace had “just arrived” and they were able to install both. The installation was great but the Smart thermostat we chose was unavailable so a basic one was installed until it was back in stock. We didn’t receive an invoice so we contacted them about a week later and they said once the job was complete we’d be billed since we were still waiting on the thermostat. A week later, we were billed without the thermostat and mailed an invoice that we received after the account was already charged. We contacted them a month after our install date wondering where the thermostat was and if it still wasn’t available we would just want a refund for the difference. Stephanie was “checking with the VP” and now a month later we haven’t heard anything. We weren’t refunded or contacted about when the thermostat would be in. Still waiting on the response a month later.

I feel like I received quick and efficient service. I was a little worried it would take a while to get an appointment at the beginning of fall- but they fit me into their schedule about a week out. I just needed my fireplace cleaned for selling and it looks great!

Competent young men who assessed the problem and made positive recommendations for me. And then installed a new fixture very quickly for me.

Brian did a great job at installing electrical for our remodel. He said it would take 3 days but only needed two. He’s quick, efficient and explains thing very well. He gave a professional bid and came in a little under the bid.

I Unfortunately I was not able to use this business due to my companys layoffs. However, that has all changed in the last week and I will be making an appointment come Monday to a brand new Mitsubishi heat pump to be installed to my home!Stephanie did an amazing job explaining everything little question I had about installation, usage and costs regarding the heat pump. She even showed me a few options that best suited my home, and explained how to measure a home, to know exactly what would need to be installed to be effective. Excellent experience. Had Brian come out for a day to do multiple electrical installations; wall fan heater units with thermostats, ceiling fan, can lights and etc. Great communication to make sure everything was done just the way we wanted it. He also spent time consulting with us on the best way to do some future heater installations.

Appointment was set for 10-12. Called at 1210 inquiring about when the tech would arrived. 1215 received an automated text saying he was on the way. He arrived at 1243 and was completed with his task at 105 pm. The charge for looking at the unit and installing two filters was $205.00.

Bodes Electric/West Mechanical installed a Level 2 EV charger for us. They were responsive (did install within the week that I called) and completed the job in less than 2 hours. Other electrical contractors estimated 1-2 months until they could schedule the work. We were please with the work and would call them again.

Have a gas fireplace that was in need of service as well the pilot light went out for no known reason. Emailed West Mechanical and received a return email quickly. Very nice experience all around. I was working on replacing my elderly mothers furnace and they were very understanding. I needed to know how quick they could either fix it or replace it. It was great to talk to one person who could get me the answers I needed right away. I called 3 places and choose them because they were easy to talk to, and quick to come out. One of the places I call I ended up in more of a call center and getting specifics about when people could come out took over 20 minutes to get answers to. I understand the efficiency of a call center but it definitely caused me more stress then comfort. All the people we interacted with, from the repair man, the estimate, and the installers were very nice, great communicators, and compassionate. My installer came to retrofit earthquake strapping. The space was tight and challenging (mobile home) but he was very positive and cheerful, a great problem solver. He explained every step and my options, and explained options for discounts in future (Comfort Club). The installation varied from the specified WA code requirements, but meeting those requirements to the letter isnt possible based on the configuration of my water heater (the controls arent located in the lower third of my heater, as the WA code assumes) but I am confident that this will be obvious to my lender and will be acceptable for their requirements. This installer was a terrific representative for your company!

We had a technician come out for furnace maintenance and troubleshooting our gas fireplace. Unlike other local companies I’ve worked with who took three or fours visits (that each required separate visit fees), he was able to look and and resolve all issues, get parts and fix everything in one visit. He was very polite and professional and I felt comfortable having him in the house.

February 2020Juan came to do routine maintenance, and found that our furnaces were not safe. He was patient, kind, and caring, explaining exactly what we need to know and do as homeowners. Because we were left without heat, she made sure we had loaner space heaters, making an additional special trip. We had our annual tankless water heater maintenance check. Brandon was in and out of our home with reports that our tankless water heater was still performing perfectly. He wore his mask, shoe covers and did the 40 minute performance test on our water heater to make sure there were no issues. It’s now clean and we are all paid for them to come back again next year. Very happy to have a great tankless hot water heater and a team to keep it running well.

With so many options available we decided to call 4 of what we considered the most reliable. Of the 4 companies West Mechanical was the most responsive, most reasonably priced, and didnt try and upsell us a bunch of BS we didnt need. Kris the sales guy came to the house, followed all the COVID-19 safety protocols, talked about our needs, and then presented us with a few different options before spewing out pricing. Once we decided on the furnace it was a couple days before their installers came to the house and replaced the old with the new. The installers came in and explained to me what they were going to do, got right to work, and within a couple hours had heat blowing through the house courtesy the new Trane furnace. Before leaving the installed cleaned up, checked in with me to make sure everything was in order, and took away all their trash.

Weve had 2 other projects done by West Mechanical, so when we needed the hot water tank replaced in our air b&b we called.The service installers (Ryan and Tony) showed up, removed the old tank and installed a new on demand system.Great guys, knowledgeable, quick and clean.Thanks again for the 3rd time.

We reached out to West Mechanical for furnace and fireplace maintenance. Juan was able to come out quickly and clean our furnace and fireplace. Unfortunately we had a broken piece on our furnace that was quite pricey to replace (especially for how old our furnace was), so we made the decision to replace the entire furnace. Juan made a call and was able to get Todd out the same day to go over our options for furnaces. Todd was incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of his way to answer any questions we had. Not to mention he had already worked a full day and still was able to fit us into his schedule. Seriously, above and beyond. The employee who reached out to schedule our install was friendly. Tony and Juan came out to do our install. They replaced the furnace, installed a new thermostat, leveled the base of our air conditioning unit, and added earthquake straps to our hot water heater quickly and efficiently. They were friendly and knowledgable, answered all our questions, and did good work. We have had a great experience with West Mechanical and all the people we have worked with. We will absolutely use them again in the future and have already signed up for a maintenance package for our furnace.

We had West Mechanical install a new gas furnace in our house. The job was completed in one day including removing the old furnace.The installer was very meticulous in every detail. In addition everything was cleaned up and left the place perfectly clean.In addition, West Mechanical, after first installation comes back in 6 months to inspect the installation, cleans the new furnace inside and out, makes any adjustments necessary and makes sure it is in perfect working order.All this at no extra cost. Again the person doing the inspection did a very thorough job and left nothing to chance. This included cleaning all the filters, checking pressures, measuring temperatures and all performance items insuring a system working at 100% efficiency.I would recommend West Mechanical to anyone interested in having a professional install done.

Their technician, Nathan, has done an excellent job helping me from trouble shooting to maintenance. The scheduling end had dropped the ball sometimes but definitely shows improvement. Amanda has done a great job. Overall experience is good and I would recommend their service to others.

We were having issues with our Mitsubishi ductless heat pump system about 3 months after it was installed. It would make loud wind like noises. West Mechanical came out and thought they knew what was causing the problem. After that the unit ran perfectly for over a year. This winter - same problem. Brent went out of his way to contact the manufacturer in an effort to solve this issue. He personally came out and added a piece of tubing per the factory suggestion. Apparently the strong winter winds coming from a certain direction can cause this problem. Thanks to Brent and the rest of the West Mechanical crew.

Just had my first service after buying my Trane high efficiency furnace from West Mechanical. Juan the service technician was great! He was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable.
