The reviews giving this place 5 stars are inaccurate and false. This company is ran by a single crook. He pays his employees unfair wages. He does not train employees and sends them into public schools with vulnerable children and no training. He does not conduct background checks either.

My son is profoundly affected by autism and also has significant behavioral challenges. James is one of the only special needs day programs that will accept these more challenging kids. Hopeful hands camps have been a blessing!

I have worked with this company for over 6 years. It’s been a pleasure learning and growing with this team. My employer is prompt and knowledgable when contacted with questions. They have helped me continue my education. I can’t imagine not working in this field as it has become a great career for me but also one of my greatest life’s joy. I love what I do here and look forward to the future with this company!

Ive worked at Hopeful hands for a little over a year now. James Nicolaus, the CEO of the company is very easy to communicate with and very knowledgeable in the field of behavioral health. Moving here from another state where there the training requirements are different, Hopefuls Hands promptly put me through Right Response training and made sure i had ample showing time before i was 1-on-1 with my student. I am able to contact James directly for anything i need in regards to my work schedule instead of having to go through a bunch of middle men to get time off or vacation hours approved. They now have an office in Shoreline with a clinic so if Im ever short on hours I can make them up in my free time on Saturday mornings. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the field of behavioral health and they have excellent benefits and competitive pay.

This company provides a great opportunity for growth and advancement. Including competitive pay scale. I have obtained both my RBT training as well as my CBT certification at Hopeful Hands. The work environment is rewarding and diverse. The schedule is great. I find management to be responsive, caring, and supportive of staff. You can truly succeed if you desire!Staff are replaced for Sitting around and doing nothing when the BCBA asked them to work and fill out forms correctly. Instead of doing the job of working one on one with the student some staff fill they dont have to work. Great staff members have no time to deal with the lazy.

Very unprofessional group. I was supposed to have a phone interview with them twice and I never received a phone call both times! Such a waste of time. I bet they would do the same to their clients.

I see exactly why this owner lacks employees . He not only pays them unfairly, but he likes to taunt his employees when it comes to discussing pay and pay periods. Yikes the reviews are all correct sadly .

It is one of the worst company I’ve ever worked with. Very unprofessional poor management, they couldn’t provide me summer job as I was promised. I have called the Owner of the company James necklace Multiple times he ignored my calls. Also I didn’t take any vacation time and I never use my PTO when I was done with the company after I filed my complaint they didn’t pay me my PTO. The owner of the company very rude and unprofessional when I asked for Sick leave after surgery I had he refused to give me the sickleave I filed a complaint against the company with the Labor and Industry. I’m really hoping Labor and Industry close up this company forever.
