My sons pediatrician referred me to have his speech and hearing evaluated here. I have tried multiple times talking with Genie to make an appointment, only to have my name and number taken for a call back to book the appointment. Its now been over two weeks and counting. It may be just the Bellevue office, seems like they dont want my son going there, and now have to ask the pediatrician for another referral.
The staff was so sweet and patient with my 4-year old daughter. She gets shy and everyone here was encouraging and kind while still getting accurate results. The audiologist even sat right down on the floor to get to her level and help her feel more at ease. I felt confident in the care and the results we received.
The fitting went very well. Excellent doctor and staff. All very helpful, professional and caring. Hearing is much improved.
I wasnt sure how a hearing test would go with my strong-willed 22 month old, but ESHC did a great job keeping him focused and switching things up when needed. Thank you!
This is one of the best clinics I visited. Administrative staff is very friendly and accommodating. I found Dr. Salzmann very professional, knowledgeable and thorough during the entire testing and fitting. I am happy that Ive found a great clinic. Thank you for all your help.
Very nice front office staff. Easy to schedule with. Just frustrating when you are one of the first appointments of the day and they are 45 minutes late.
Had a great first experience at Evergreen for my new hearing aids. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure all my concerns were addressed. I also felt confident they were taking appropriate precautions regarding the COVID-19 virus, and felt safe. The product they recommended has exceeded my expectations; they are much better than my old ones.I plan to recommend them to any of my friends looking for any of the services Evergreen provides.
Evergreen Speech and Hearing has a very professional staff who appear to be very devoted to customer service. Appointments are easy to schedule without any significant delay.
Very impressive. Well equipped to handle everything and they go out of their way to help you. If they dont have what you need they find it, get it and get you on your way. The hearing test and audiologist team is top notch and they explain everything in laymens terms. If you already have hearing aids, they will tune them to perfection and if you dont, they will recommend whats right for your needs, rather than just sell you what you can afford. Follow up is key and theyre the best. They spent an hour helping me correct a problem created by previous hearing center! Plus they are super nice 👌. Thats an unbelievable combination. You wont be disappointed 😁
The experience was good until I receive the bill from the insurance company. In short, they did not give me any cost estimation and told me everything will be paid by the insurance company, and after I purchased the hearing aid, I received a ~$1700 bill. The doctor was nice though. When I was about to do the hearing test, I asked whether I need to pay for the test, and they said no, the insurance will cover it. Then I did the test, and wished to purchase a hearing aid. They suggested a quiet expensive aid (~$3000 per ear). I trusted their expertise and was thinking about getting it. I asked how much the insurance would cover, they said the insurance will pay for $3000. I have premera insurance and this clinic is suggested by the insurance company, and thats the reason I come to this place and trust their words. So I asked them can I get one ear first to see how it works, and get another ear later (by which time Ill probably switch to another insurance company). Then they said its a good idea! You can totally do that! I checked multiple times with them how much I should pay if I get one ear, they always said the insurance will pay for it and I need to pay nothing. So I purchased the aid. After one week, I received a $1700 bill. It turns out neither the test or the aid is totally paid by the insurance, I need to pay for the deductible and the co insurance part. Non of these was mentioned by the clinic staff, even when I asked explicitly. And now I need to pay this huge bill which I didnt expect, and even if I return the device, I need to pay $300 deposit. When I called the evergreen billing office, the person who answered the call was talking all the time and barely let me speak. She was repeating the cost estimation process again and again, which I already know the clinic staff didnt follow! And she wasnt providing any remedy or anything they can do to help with this case.Although I like the hearing aid (how can a $3000-per-ear aid be bad) and the doctor, but i did have a very bad experience with the purchase and now Im in a bad situation where I need to pay a lot no matter I return it or not.
I have been a customer of Evergreen for at least 10 years and always found their service good and people great and friendly. Do business with them!
Fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly staff!
Dr. Limb was helpful and informative! Explained musician earplugs and sound exposure much more clearly than other hearing specialists I visited. If I decide to get custom earplugs I will go through Evergreen. Also, the first appointment was free (to my surprise!) and I wasn’t pushed to invest in custom earplugs right away. Dr. Limb even suggested that I try my generic earplugs first- if they work properly, it will save me a lot of money. I appreciate the honesty!
Very disappointed with lack of communication and lack of professionalism. Got a referral for daughter and contacted them twice regarding insurance coverage. Was told the expected charges and insurance coverage and received an unexpected bill amount because the diagnosis was submitted under a different code. Contacted them again and received confirmation of insurance coverage and expected payments. After six visits, got the bill that it was not covered but was subject to the deductible - which was the exact opposite of what we were told BEFORE we decided to go forward with the therapy sessions. Explanation that Evergreen didnt actually know how insurance would handle the claim until after it was processed was never disclosed. Then even after Evergreen knew that there was no coverage because the claims had been processed, they never told us about the issue and we continued to go to therapy sessions. After contacting Evergreen about these problems, I was told a manager would call me about the issue. No call from a manager, only received an e-mail from an account coordinator saying we had to pay the full bill. Our daughters speech issue was very mild in the first place - they even told us so, and we would not have followed the recommendation to go through therapy without the confirmation regarding insurance coverage. Be careful about relying on their representations without confirming everything first.
Excellent Service the Staff very nice! I felt comfortable, trust & I was able to ask a lot of questions! Excellent Staff & Excellent Dr! Thank You for ALL of yr help!
The staff was wonderful at ESHC. Dr. Higgins was great at diagnosing my ear issue as well.
Superior knowledge about hearing and the people who have ears. The whole staff understands when people have questions and concerns, then answersand guides their patients to a better quality of life with better hearing.
Very friendly staff that I could easily hear. Quite efficient. Appreciated receiving my hearing test results right away.
Very nice and professional staff. Highly recommend for all your hearing needs!
Jeannie at the front desk was so helpful as well as everyone at the Redmond and Bellevue Offices. Polite, professional staff.
I finally have answers for what causes some of my sons learning difficulties because of Evergreen Speech and Hearing. My son has a subtype of auditory processing disorder, and I have been getting him tests, assessments, and evals for a while trying to figure things out. Some places have long waiting lists but they got us right in. They were welcoming, professional, and quick! I did ask if that was why my son had trouble concentrating on noisy environments and was told no, but everything I read about it says thats part of his diagnosis, but other than that bit of confusing info our experience there so far (Bellevue office) has been amazing, from first phone call to final visit.Edit: took two months and repeated phone calls to get a report sent to another provider, so that downgraded the experience.
I have had very positive and informative meetings discovering the extent of my concussion. I would recommend them highly.
Dr. Norwood was extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable in a near-emergency situation. Highest possible rating from me!
The staff are all friendly and helpful, and are wonderful with my twin 3 year olds!
I trust Dr. Pinczower completely with my ear issue.
The testing was great, i loved how they explained everything to us.
Warning: Up-sell alert.... I went in there for some testing my physician ordered regarding an ear infection, and they wanted to sell me expensive hearing devices. Also, they ask for an abundance of personal information that is already on my chart. No idea why they need so much personal information.
Staff there are friendly and nice
Great staff and very helpful
Professional and great service
