Ive been seeing Dr. Ryan and his team since about 2008. They did my wisdom teeth and have helped me manage my dental health for nearly half my life at this point. Ive had only good experiences with them, including recently when I had a popcorn husk lodged in my gums that I could not reach with a toothbrush or floss and was causing some serious swelling. I called to ask some questions and they scheduled me in that same day, was in and out in less than 30 minutes, and was feeling much better that night. Dr. Ryan and his team are always incredibly friendly, helpful, and are not only interested in their patients dental health, but are also genuinely curious about their patients personal lives, offering advice and guidance on much more than just dentistry. Highly recommended.

Recently moved from Boston, MA to the Bellevue, WA area and finding a good dental practice was a top priority. That is right, IT WAS! Look no further…Bellevue Dental Arts is THE place to go. WICKED AWESOME! From the moment you walk in, to the time you leave, you are made feel appreciated. It will definitely leave with a sense of satisfaction. Over the years, I have used different dental practices, and I can say with confidence, that Bellevue Dental Arts is by far, one of the best dental practices I have ever come across. Everyone in the office was extremely friendly and professional. Answered all questions in a courteous manner and made my visit look more like a spa visit. Bellevue Dental Arts uses a great deal of good technology and is abiding by the new normal of Covid-19 regulations. Heidi was my hygienist and made my cleaning beyond comfortable. Would not have anyone else do cleanings other than her. Highly efficient with a high level of professionalism. On my first visit, I also met with Dr. Ryan Chiang. Friendly, knowledgeable, straight forward, and works well with most insurances. Additionally, Dr. Ryan answered all questions and explained all options for alternative treatments for receding gums that I wasn’t even aware of. This is not your typical dentist who will try to over sell what you really need. Of course, just like any other product and/or service, this may not be the best option for you (it is for me!). Thus, I recommend doing your due diligence and perform your own research on him and his practice. What I can assure you is that if you decide to go with Bellevue Dental Arts, you will NOT be disappointed.

Fantastic experience. The dental assistant (Rosemary) and the dentist (Dr Ryan Chiang) who saw me were super friendly, patient with my questions, and knew their stuff. I appreciate Dr. Chiang’s straight forward manner and his willingness to explain his assessment of my teeth and past dental work. He obviously takes his craft seriously and is passionate about it. That makes all the difference to me, as I’ve had some really bad dentistry in the past. I feel comfortable putting my trust in Bellevue Dental Arts and I look forward to better oral health in the new year! I feel so lucky to have gotten a referral to this place from a friend.

Giving it 2 stars because of friendly nurses and staff.However, if you plan to regularly visit this office, be sure to never get sick right before your appointments. Theres a super strict 48 hour rescheduling or cancellation policy. Even when you call in to reschedule an appointment when you are sick, $100 will be charged. I wish they can be more considerate with their patients, especially during the pandemic.

Ive been going to BDA for years, and every experience has been great. I particularly enjoy that it is always very clean, calm, quiet, the right temperature, and all the staff is always kind and attentive. Dr. Ryan and Dr. Norman have both seen me, and they are both skilled and funny and have a great dynamic. Its always been very clear what Dr. Ryan plans to do for my teeth in the long term; he gives me some options and lets me choose what works best for me. Theres nothing more I could ask for out of any business. Very highly recommended place to go for all your dental care needs! It also doesnt hurt that Dr. Ryan is very easy on the eyes :)

As always, the care provided by dentists hygienist and support staff are great. They go to great lengths and expense to insure a virus free office.The real reason I rate them with 5 stars is there wasnt 6.

Dr.Ryan Chiang is really one of the best dentists. He is so gentle yet thorough with his treatment. I get very nervous when it gets to dental issues but he makes patients feel so comfortable by explaining the entire process clearly and then moving ahead with utmost care. This dental office is awesome. I’m super picky when it comes to dental care and have been to quite a few different dentists. Since I was referred to Dr. Ryan Chiang I haven’t gone anywhere else. He takes care of me and my son so well. He’s gentle and just wonderful at what he does. I would highly recommend him. On top of being a great dentist, everyone at the office is very warm. You can tell they all love what they do. The office is always extremely clean, appointments run on time and they have great communication, billing and assistance. Dental emergency? They will fit you in. They also do really good cosmetic work. If you need a dentist you won’t regret taking this recommendation.

Since I have been happy with Bellevue Dental Arts services in the past two year, I decided to bring my son to the same dental office. He is 7 years old, but had bad experience on taking X-ray pictures for his teeth in the past visits to another two dental offices. It was never successful after trying hard, and it became a scary experience to put the sensor plate into his mouth. I am happy that I took him to Bellevue Dental Arts this time, both Dr. Chiang and the nurses were so nice and patient to help my son out of his frustration. There must be some magic, this time my son made it and got his X-ray pictures taken successfully! Unlike visits in the past, this time he left the office with happiness instead of tears. Kudos to the friendly and professional stuff!

Life is slowly returning to normal at the dentist office. As a matter of public safety, masks are still required unless the team is working on you. You are still treated with hydrogen peroxide and mouthwash to kill off any COVID that might be present in your mouth. As always, my hygenist was prompt and efficient at dispensing the required treatment, using the most modern tools available in dentistry. Ryan Chiang has a wonderful chair-side manner that instills confidence in him as the great dentist that he is.

I was referred to Bellevue Dental Arts by my best friend who had a very pleasant experience with them. I was looking for a new dental office since I was not able to find someone who I really had “that” connection with; someone who truly cares and understands your concerns. When I first came to Bellevue Dental Arts, I was greeted by Stephanie at the front desk she was so pleasant, sweet and kind. Then I was taken aback by Rosemary who went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and at ease. She was so kind to me through my whole visit before Dr. Ryan came in to see me and took her time to answer any questions I might have. Then Dr. Ryan came in to go over my x-rays and health history. He took ALL the time I needed to answer all my questions and concerns. I never had a doctor who took that much time to really explain to me the anatomy of my mouth and teeth. I was blown away with his knowledge and experience. He makes you feel so comfortable and at ease and answers all your questions that you might have. I then had my cleaning done by Jill who is absolutely amazing at what she does! She took her time to thoroughly clean my teeth and made sure I was comfortable at all times. From the front desk to the back office, everyone was extremely very kind and professional and they just make you feel like you are at home J I have been through quite a few dental offices, but this one stands out the most to me! The way staff talks about their boss and how much respect they have for him (ahem Dr. Ryan...) truly shows what kind of a person he is! If you are looking for honest, caring and pleasant experience, this is the place for you! Highly recommend it to everyone!

This is a terrific dental practice. The quality of care is excellent. When the need arises, Dr. Chiang explains options for treatment and works with patients to make the best decision for them. The office is spotless, staff are warm & welcoming and I’m impressed with how the practice is quick to incorporate the newest technology. I have been seeing Dr. Ryan for a few years now. All of the staff working here are extremely friendly and make it a great experience every time I come in for an appointment (and I go there a lot!!!!)I am currently in the process of getting my veneers done and could not have asked for a better person to do it. Dr. Ryan is a perfectionist and I trust him to do whatever it takes to make my smile perfect - why would you want anything less than perfection, right?!On a regular day with traffic it can be 30-40 minutes to get there from downtown Seattle but I would gladly make the trip any day than to go to anybody else!

Thorough hygienists, meticulous and knowledgeable doctor, and super-friendly staff. Taking Covid-19 very seriously with every precaution in place. Needed an estimate to replace a crown and their billing person happily ran my insurance and gave me an out of pocket dollar amount. Scheduled my 6 month cleaning and will be back in a few weeks for a crown prep. Wonderful clinic!Aug 2021: Still raving about Dr. Ryan and his staff. I have had a dead tooth since I was 7 years old which has been brown ever since. I have tried every whitening treatment available and finally decided to shave my teeth down and get veneers. Dr. Ryan asked me to try the KoR whitening system; I was dubious, to say the least. My teeth are gleaming and the discolored tooth is barely noticeable. My smile was whitened 5 shades. If you are hesitant to try KoR whitening, take the plunge. You wont be sorry. Money well spent!

I cant recommend this office enough. Great staff, amazing attention to detail, every visit is always a pleasure, (asides from the obvious reasons requiring the visit). I have hated every dentist for the 30 years prior to coming here. The last 3 years have been a complete reversal on my opinion of dentists and field. I dont want to move away. Best. Dentists. Wonderful dental practice. They use top of the line technology to get the best analysis of your teeth that they can. The hygienists are friendly and thorough. Dr. Ryan is detailed and kind. And theyll always take the time to explain what something means or pull out a figure to help you understand. Every visit has been a great experience.

I met with DR. NORM and had the most THOROUGH EXAM EVER ..they had different dental equipment that i never have been introduced to. most likely STATE OF THE ART EQUIPMENT. i have been to the dentist faithfully every 6 months in the past several decades with excellent care yet i must say this was quite an EXTRAORDINARY experience. the staff was efficient.. friendly and helpful in every way. i would give this a rating of TEN STARS...THEY DEFINITELY EXEMPLIFY THEIR TOP DOCS DESIGNATION!

Even though Bellevue Dental Arts is a 40 minute drive (without traffic) and is Out-of-Network with our dental insurance, we still visit them for all our dental checkups and work.We tried Ryan Chiang when we first moved to Bellevue and had a good experience, but after our insurance changed, we tried 4 other highly rated dentists over the years but still decided that it is worth the extra money and time to go back to Bellevue Dental Arts.What sets them apart from the rest:--They are very gentle when cleaning and performing any operations in your mouth. Even my wife who cries when she sees a needle agrees with how gentle they are.--They use dental technology that Ive never seen used before in other dental offices. High def scanners, photography, etc.--The staff is pleasant to be around.--The dentist backs their work. If something is not right with a filling they did or something, they will fix it for free.

Have had appointments with both Dr. Ryan and Dr. Norman. Both are fantastic and easy to talk to. The office staff are friendly and accommodating. I had to last minute cancel due to waking up very ill and they were very understanding. Very positive experience going to the dentist here!

This place is great. Dr. Chiang and his team are amazing and really make you feel at ease while your in the chair. Everything was explained to me, not only what kind of procedures would be needed or recommended but why they were recommended as well. My cleaning was practically painless and the dental hygienist was extremely personable. She kept me relaxed the whole time. Everyone in the office is super friendly and nice. Both doctors have been my dentist and I have since moved a ways away, but wont change dentists as the Chaings are honest and great people.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chang for many years. He is a great professional, always listens to his patients, educate them and explains why something has to be done. I am a person who is really scared of needles and he has been great about it. Thanks to him I was able to overcome those fears and become more relaxed when going in for fillings and other procedures requiring a local anesthetic. I am so happy with him that I am willing to drive almost an hour just to go to his office which most people wont do but I guess that speaks even more about my loyalty as his patient. If you need a good basic maintenance or you have some serious teeth problems, this is the dentist for you.

The people that work in the Bellvue Dental Arts are all friendly and professional. I really dont mind going to the dentist at least not there. I think they are great.

Amazing experience here! I loved the interactions I had with all of the staff they were all super knowledgeable and taught me a bunch of new things about my mouth on my first visit, even though Ive been going to a dentist my whole life. I look forward to continue my dental upkeep with these guys!

Best dental experience I have ever had today. The entire staff is friendly and very professional they really care about the quality of care for your teeth. They make sure everything is done and completed with a very high standard they on themselves. Dr. Ryan Chaing gives a lots of really good information to help you be more aware and to enable to you to take care of your teeth. Your teeth deserve it!

I had my twice yearly cleaning and exam with Bellevue Dental Arts. After ten years the quality of service and staff is only getting better. My hygienist, Jill, was exceptional and friendly as usual. Dr. Chaing is without saying the Best dentist in Washington State!!

Seriously the best dentist ever. Everyone is so nice and always remembers you. With more complicated procedures, they always break it down and talk about ways to proceed. One thing I love is that they will tell you everything they are doing and why if you ask, even with normal cleanings. Its a small practice, so parking and appointments are easy. Even though its a father and son who own it, they have very nice top of the line equipment (from what I can tell!)

You always hear how people hate going to the dentist...well this was me! But when I went to Bellevue Dental Arts for the first time it was like I have been going there for forever. The people there made me feel so comfortable and took great care of me. Can’t wait to go back! 😀
