Hiring Nicola was the best thing for our family! When I was heading back to work and needed care for our 6 month old - we lucked out when we found and hired Nicola. From our first interaction I knew she was the right person for us. Why do I say that? Professional, organized, sound judgment, communication - these are the qualities that we liked and saw throughout our time working with Nikki. In the beginning she helped us get set up to make everything legal, get taxes taken out, develop and sign a contract and set up our play space for age appropriate fun and learning. She was extremely organized keeping a daily log with crucial info, expenses, hours and a great monthly neighborhood activity calendar that even my mom friends wanted copies of. She asked lots of questions and listened closely to what we were looking for in a nanny to make sure she was a good fit for us and as we moved forward to ensure she understood and was in line with our parenting philosophy. She brought up issues to us in a timely and professional manner - things as small as picky eating to needing to revise and update our contract. She always showed such good judgment and we often turned to her for her opinion with how to support his learning, creativity, communication and social development. I often bragged to others regarding how lucky we were to have Nicola on our team - and that is exactly how we felt - she was part of our sons team and we trusted her more than anyone else with our son.

We hired Nicola to help us find a nanny before I returned to work from maternity leave. Before we signed our contract, Nicola assured us that she had found a nanny for each family that had previously hired her.After two months of working with our family, Nicola sent us only three candidates who were appropriate to be interviewed in person. Ultimately the nanny we chose was not a good fit after one week in our home. Despite her guarantee to find a replacement nanny under the original finders fee, it seemed as if Nicola stopped looking for candidates. We were desperate for childcare and eventually found a nanny outside of her services.When we informed Nicola that wed found a nanny on our own, and that we were disappointed in her services, she blamed the result on us. She claimed we didnt give her enough feedback, despite numerous emails and conversations about the qualities and qualifications we were looking for in a nanny candidate. We paid Nicola thousands of dollars with nothing to show for it.

Nicola was recently able to help me secure an out of town nanny for a family getaway in Vancouver, Canada. I know its out of the normal services her agency offers, but she was able to connect with a nanny she knows in Vancouver and help us out.
