Groupon detailing shall keep the same value as the regular detailing. I should not pay extra to get a proper detailing. I was asked to pay another $90 to get the seats cleaned up, which i declined. Ended up paying $90 for a detailing service i could have gotten for only $30 anywhere else.
Awesome team. I came in on a Monday evening and got the radio & needed harness on order for my car. Being a 1999 its getting older and it makes sense that all the parts wont be in stock. Friday evening, everything got installed and they stayed late to make sure everything worked well. I really appreciate everyone here!
This location talked a big talk over the phone but the actual service we received left a lot to be desired. They charged several hundred dollars more for installation than comparable dealers, but we went with them because of the promises they made about the quality of work. The dashcam they installed in our car keeps having issues, but taking it back for warranty service is so painful.

They had no problem integrating an audiocontrol amp to my factory infotainment system on my 2021 Buick EncoreGX. For a 100 watt RMS alpine component system. Sounds amazing! Super clean install. No rattles from any broken trim clips. Just as clean as I dropped it off, no wire strands in carpets. amp wiring beautifully hidden. Completely satisfied customer!
Sucks place to go. Due to sale person and installer not explained what included in installation and what not. Cost me $900 for remote starter.

I have been a long time customer of Car Toys and I turned to them when i needed a upgrade on my auto security. I worked with Brent and Chris to find the right solution for my purposes. Turns out there is not an off-the-shelf solution but Brent and Chris had a custom solution that could be built to meet my needs. I am very happy with their work and the solution they installed.
I came here to have a dash cam hardwired and a battery for it installed. Whatever was done has now broken my 2021 mazda 3 hatchback. I had to have a new front facing sensor installed for 1500 dollars since the installed dash cam was constantly draining my battery. When I contacted car toys to get it removed they refused to return my calls. So now I have to pay the dealership to fix it hopefully and my car warranty on my brand new car is void. I payed way too much for the install and ended up with a broken brand new car.
The customer service here is Abysmal. We got subs installed that broke twice in 3 days due to faulty installation. They proceeded to try and make us wait 5 days instead of fixing the defective install. Do not go here because I guarantee, you will be mistreated. We paid $1,500 to have a full sub and amp install not work at all. The gain knob also does not work correctly and they will not fix it in a timely manner. Don’t waste your time.

The Car Toys shop in Bellevue is as good as it gets. From their managers to their technicians, they know their business. They’ve installed several stereos and backup cameras on my cars and trucks. They have the best products and know how to install them. I’d be happy to refer any family and friends to them. Keep up the good work Chalisa and Josh!
Absolute waste of time, service is awful and all the employees will not help you after the sale has been rung out. Customer service is horrible and the manager hates helping her customers. Last time I will be buying anything from Car Toys at all. I also had to go and get my install fixed 2 times and I am currently waiting on the 3rd. Waste of $1,500 on a subwoofer, what good is the product if it’s not installed right. Please get someone new into management that will treat their customers well and prioritize fixing mistakes over sales.

So this is 20 years later...and I dont know how appropriate it may be to leave a review after this much time, but the service I had at this location was memorable enough that Im still angry about it.My car was showcase quality, with an appx 4-5k stereo system in it, and after getting it out of the shop one day, found that everything had been stolen. Insurance company cut me a check and I headed to Car Toys to do a complete re-install of brand new components.They had my car for two weeks...for two weeks I had to find alternate means to work, but it was fine, I couldnt wait to see how itd sound.Picking up my car, I turned on the radio, found a station, turned the volume up to maybe 2-3 and the sound became severely distorted before cutting out completely. Id blown a fuse or something...the stereo system Id just had installed didnt work.Left the car with them for a couple more days, they couldnt figure the problem out...started inspecting it myself and found that the wooden frame theyd built for my rear speakers was broken right in half and was being held together only by the carpet covering it.It was such a bad install. And I finally just asked them to take it all out, just remove all of it. And I wasnt rude, I just didnt know what else to do in the face of all their shrugging.Picked up my car to find that theyd not just uninstalled what theyd put in, but also some the cars own electrical wiring itself, along with my car alarm. They took my car alarm and gutted my car...after absolutely failing on a stereo install they had two weeks to do and after offering no course of action to correct their mistakes. Its like they thought Id just figure it out on my own or something.This place was horrible, just goddang horrible. Ive never had such a bad experience in any service industry as I had at this place.They may have very well changed the way they do business (hence the two stars) but this is that one customer service experience Ill never forget.
I went to Bellevue Cartoys because some other company did a horrible job installing my 6x9s, Chalisa and shop manager Lopez did a great job fixing my issue.They had me done with in the hour. Thanks for the Stellar service!!.

My husbands stereo wasn’t working and we needed a new one. Went in and was greeted by Chalisa. She was amazing! So kind and helped me pick out the perfect stereo for his WRX STI. They got it installed quickly and did an AMAZING job. Very pleased with the quality of their work and the great customer service. I will definitely be a returning customer!
Chris did an amazing job on my install. I upgraded my factory amps in my 2015 S550 to JL Audio gear and they sound amazing. What sets the install apart though is the programming and tuning that Chris did to make sure it was performing flawlessly. Highly recommend the crew here if you need a complex, high end sound system installed in your exotic or luxury car. Fair pricing as well.
Bad service experience with them! Charged me more than the service price (I had to ask them to fix the issue) and since it was just $5.50 more, they treated like how cheap I am to ask them to fix their error for $5! The employee had very little knowledge about the product (keyless entry) and had to go check with someone else for all of my questions several times. Finally, after instillation the employee spent very little time explaining how to use. Also for some unknown reason the unlock has a 2 second delay and the employee just said that’s how it works. How is it possible that the lock feature is instant but unlock has a 2 second delay? I’ve never heard of such a useless delay before. I believe it’s defective.
Went there 3 weeks ago for alpine door speakers. Chris and Chris took care of me thats why Im writing another good review. Went back a week later for a amp great customer service from the Chris combo Chris.
I scheduled an appointment to deal with multiple issues with my deck and backup camera. Randy called me back, took time over the phone and in person, to find out all the issues. He personally fixed everything quickly and at no cost to me. He communicated everything as he worked on it as well. He even tuned the equalizer and made it sound so much better. To top it off he walked me through everything when I picked my truck up. If you get work done go to this location and ask for Randy. I am sure anybody will do just as good of work here, but I know for a fact Randy will do it right or make it right. I love to see people who take their job seriously. Give this guy a raise! Ill have more business for them in the future for sure, from me and others.

Ive been working with this Car Toys facility in Bellevue over the last few weeks doing a complete and total upgrade of my new 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, including a 10 Heigh10 Head Unit and Jeep Integration system, Multiple Focal Speaker Systems, JL VXI700/5i DSP Amplifier and a JL Subwoofer, and the new upgrade is so awesome and amazing in every way. Its been really fantastic working with the staff at Car Toys in Bellevue, and they have been extremely flexible and accommodating to my busy work and travel schedule over the last few weeks as I was getting the system installed in segments in between my work and travel schedule. The way the architecture of the new jeeps is, installation is significantly more complex than the previous generation of Jeeps, yet, the staff did so awesome, even though they had to build custom interface panels on the fly as they upgraded my installation. Im very happy and grateful for the work they did, and I learned a lot as well through the upgrade process in regards to car audio systems as I was able to spend time by the their side as the system was being installed. This is actually the 2nd time using this Car Toys branch, as I went through them in 2018 for a 2 Door Jeep Wrangler that I since traded in, and had no hesitation in using them again for my 2021 Jeep. I will definitely be back again and will always highly recommend them for their customer service, expertise, and willingness to be flexible including willingness to work into the very late hours of the day well beyond closing time to get work completed...thank you so much!
Went to this location to get an alarm installed with the autostart feature. I must say Jose who installs at this location was really proffesional with helping me find the right alarm and also did an awesome job at getting it installed in a timely manner. Thankyou for the great service!
I have to revise my earlier review.Dont buy ANYTHING here! I purchased a remote starter and was given a 9AM appointment for the install. At 11:00, I returned to find out my van was still in the parking lot. No apologies, just... oh well. They said if I left it they could probably have it done by 2.One other note, they didnt have time to honor my appointment but they did try to sell me a detail job! What a joke!Evidently once they get your money they dont care anymore.Ron
I was in a rush to get my car detailed as we were leaving for a road trip and my car was so gross, due to my kids and football. I had called multiple places and wasnt able to get in. My friend recommended Car Toys, I called the Bellevue location and Chalisa had answered the phone. First, I want to mention how kind and friendly she was. You could hear the smile on the phone. As I said before I was in a rush and wanted to get my car done as soon as possible before our road trip. She worked quickly to get me in on the schedule. Working in customer service myself, she was AMAZING during these rough times she was definitely a warm friendly voice and EXTREMELY helpful. I was able to get my car in on Monday (I called Saturday afternoon). I have a full size SUV third row, and like I said I have kids, dogs, and my boys play football PLUS I found my youngest spilt his hot chocolate in my car, so I had lovely old milk in there as well. When I picked up my car, I was in shock. IT WAS PERFECT!!!! Johnnie and his crew did AMAZING. I honestly didnt think my car was able to be that clean again. It looked like a brand new car. Not only was the Chalisa so helpful, but the crew did an amazing job. Johnnie went above and beyond for taking care of my car and restoring it back. I only wish I had taken before and after photos to show the great work. They have definitely gained a life long customer. VERY thankful for Car Toys in Bellevue and thank you again Chalisa and Johnnie.
I am not too impressed with this store. I stopped because I noticed it says detailing on their storefront. I dont think 7 items being sold of all the same brand qualifies as a detailing store. I bought one item to try. The whole line was on sale but didnt ring up with the sale price. I brought that up to the clerk who said he didnt know but he adjusted the price after checking. I had to wait for quite a few minutes for the customer in front of me to finish which Im normally ok with when theres only one clerk but there were two. The 2nd clerk never said a word to me as he seemed quite fascinated with the other clerks conversation. He looked at my one item and then turned sideways to me to continue listening to the customer ordering a new stereo system for his auto. By the looks of the items in the shop this maybe a good place to order a stereo system. There are many different types of speakers and stereo system types.
A couple of years ago they installed an alarm system in my van. My remote control quit working so I order a new one ($100.00) to be programmed. When I came to get it programmed they said oh your main unit in the van dont work no more. What a coincidence. Remote and main unit break at the same time.So now they say I need whole new unit plus remote. Cost is over $400.00.

I bought a car audio system from this store and it turned out to be kind of a lemon. But every time I brought it back for repair theyve gone out of their way to try and fix it. When it appears that they couldnt fix it in store they sent it back to the manufacturer for repair and all of this was done under warranty.
Dismal. Multipal emails sent to attempt to resolve an issue regarding a return without any response. Dont do business with cartoys and never for any reason buy a gift card, if you do your screwed they are greedy and unreasonable and will not refund any balance on a gift card more than a couple dollars. They suck more than a truckload of Dyson vacuums. Stay away from this sleazey company run by douche bags.

Third time I’ve had them work on my cars. Installed a new stereo amplifier and speakers. Had a problem with my door lock and the installer manager came out and explain to me what was going on. Very happy with the results

Never go here! They don’t know how to detail cars they use a pressure washer and will damage your paint and decals! Please don’t go! Management is rude and argumentative. I will be contacting corporate for what happened!
I had an amplifier and subwoofer that I took out of my previous car and needed reinstalled in my new SUV. Stuart started my transaction and Dakota (DK) worked on the install. They were pretty backed up, so the install ended up going after hours. Stuart offered to stay late to let me pick it up. DK ended up being the one working on it after hours and spoke with me at 9:00pm to let me know that my woofer had blown. Since we were able to speak after hours, he was able to share what my options were and get me done early the next day. They didn’t have the right woofer for me, so DK first thing in the morning went to another store to get it and installed it so I could pick it up first thing in the morning. They were communicative and had a positive attitude every time we spoke. Stuff happens, but great service makes the customer feel like they are putting their interests first. I’ll be back there soon!!

Went in to see Mr. Boyd, and as always friendly customers service, fixed my issue, great people there, got a demo. A1 service and always leaving with a smile. Jeremy Boyd knows his stuff if you have any car audio questions hes the man to go to.
I experienced “mansplaining” while at Car Toys. While I understand that the person was just trying to do their job, they pressured me several times to spend more money and clearly disagreed with my decision.

Needed a new head unit and they got me what I needed. Very knowledgeable, listened to what I wanted, and found me the right head unit. Works like a charm. Also, the installers are some of the best. Listened to the car of one of the top installers, Jeremy Boyd, and it sounds amazing.
The custom subwoofer box built for my 2019 Ram was constructed with outstanding quality and the sound performance seems very well tuned. They did the very first design/build for this specific truck and I am very pleased with the final product.I ran into some issues after the installation that required special attention. I felt like it took unnecessary time and effort on my part to get the issues resolved but eventually everything worked out fine and I was eventually compensated properly.
I had a receiver, back up camera, and blind spot sensors installed. After picking up my vehicle I realized my steering wheel controls did not work. After returning my vehicle a second time I was reassured my vehicle was fixed but the steering wheel controls still did not work. Now I am asked to bring it back a third time. Each time there have been additional charges. The shop does not show adequate knowledge of its products and install. The shop has little appreciation for the time lost due to not having my vehicle due to repeat visits. I would not recommend purchasing here.This is a follow up to my original review. After posting my review i received a phone call and apology. Within a week the repair was made to my install and was completed perfecttly. They were exceptional with not only the install but how i was treated. Thanks to Ben and Chris who assured my satisfaction. I appreciate the extra effort it took to make this right. I have changed my star rating to reflect my satisfaction with the recovery service.
Installed a sensor of my car alarm wrong. It would go off for no reason at all. So I called to see if they could fix it. They said in about two weeks. So for 800$ you can get a car alarm that doesnt work and no one cares enough to fix it for you. I would NOT recommend going here.Update 8/20/20 I will call and see if i can make an appointment stating the above info and see if i can get in. That will be the real test. Thank you for your response.
Guy was charging 200$ per hour of work. Would recommend doing it yourself rather than go here unless you make more than 200$ per hour...Staff also really predatory and will come up with “guesstimates” to squeeze as much money out of you as possible.
Charge only what the ad says and stay on time. It was longer than they quoted and cost $110 more than sale ad. This was even calculating with taxes. I never got an itemized receipt only a total cc receipt. Won’t come here again or recommend to anyone.
Hi I just wanted to say that I had revived fantastic service from the Assistant Manager, Stuart George earlier today. My Car was recently stolen and I had gotten it back but came into the store to seek help in finding a GPS tracking device system for my vehicle and Stuart was so friendly and patient by answering all my questions and helping install the Drone System into my car. Ive had my cars detailed there several times. Most recently, Brandon did the most thorough job of explaining the before and after. I was overly impressed with his customer service and the quality of detailing my Volvo. He also answered questions I had about installing stereo and safety accessories in my other vehicles. Very knowledgeable. Nice showroom. Of course I will be back!
Was told that even though my horn stopped working after installation, it was up to me to take it to a dealership and somehow get them to prove it was related to car toys. Also have electrical issues with my headlights
The service was awful. I had the supreme interior detailing treatment on my car and it took them 13 hours to complete it and then I came to pick it up it smelled heavily of acetone...strong enough to give me and my girlfriend a headache if the windows weren’t rolled down while driving for the next 3 days. I will not be returning here and don’t recommend it to anyone. Then I spoke to someone on the phone about it and was told they would take care of it, went in and they told me to roll down my windows for a few days. If it’s the most expensive package the place offers (over $200) how can they not make the car smell pleasant...especially after 13 hours of work.
Buying a stereo for a car really improves the car in more ways than it used to. My daughter drives an older model car (2012) and Car Toys just added a new, modern head unit, speakers and a back-up camera. So in addition to a better sounding stereo it now has the backup camera, so my daughter has a clearer view of what is behind her when she is backing up and Car Play which I hope keeps her phone completely out of her hands and put away someplace safe while she is driving. I was helped at the bellevue store by Kris on Black Friday. When I told him what I was looking for he showed me several options and provided easy to understand description of the main differences between them. He sold me equipment which added the safety features I wanted without overselling me things I didnt need. The new stereo sounds great. The installation looks amazing! I would have added it a long time ago if I would have known it would turn out looking so nice. All the steering wheel buttons work, actually a little better than before. The warranty is really good too. So overall great sales and workmanship and thank you to the staff at Bellevue Car Toys
Yesterday i made a visit to this place to see if they could help me with my stereo that was installed elsewhere. I was greeted by a gentleman named jeremy. He came out to my car and took a listen. He agreed something was off. After a few settings on my deck and amplifier were made my stereo now sounds the way i expected. This def made my day. I tried to give him a tip but he politely turned down. I will be back with my other cars in the future.
This store is under new management and they have brought in some of the top talent in the company to serve this area. They have high tech equipment to “tune” up your system. Brought my Denali in and an hour of shop time DRAMATICALLY improved the sound of a system I paid north of $4k for.
Anya was very thorough in helping me pick audio components and with the demo after the installation. Macklin did an awesome job modifying the A pillars for the tweeters and custom mounting the amp, stereo, and sub.
Car Toys stand behind their customers! After installation there was, admittedly, a questionably related issue regarding a dashboard (cluster) light that had burnt out and engaging the passenger air bag warning system. This occurred while the vehicle was worked--one of those it was working when I brought it in and not working after I picked it up scenarios. Chris, Stewart, Maclin, and MyCayla (front desk) worked to solve the issue saying You are our customer and we take care of our customers! It doesnt get any better than that! Thanks CT Bellevue--youre the best!

Bought a Pioneer audio source unit from this Car Toys ~6 months ago. A month ago my car battery died and ever since jump-starting, the audio unit has been behaving oddly... pressing the SRC button goes back and forth between Radio and USB and Ive been unable to play music via Bluetooth or Aux so Ive just been listening to the radio. I tried fumbling through the audio unit UI to no avail. Googling the problem yielded nothing. I finally got tired of the radio so I called Car Toys to see if they could offer technical support.Kayla answered the phone promptly and patiently guided me through the audio units strange interface to help me bring back the missing sources. Now I can finally listen to music again! Thank you Kayla!!!!!!

I originally went in to have an amp and subs installed that I already owned . I also was hoping to get an auxiliary chord updated because my deck had the very old iPhone hookup that didn’t work with my phone. Josh from the installation department came out to look at my setup and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was honestly worried my stuff was outdated and afraid he would make fun of the gear I had, but he was kind and confident he could hook up the amp and subs I brought in. When we went back inside the sales team was busy with other customers so Josh helped me pick out a clearance deck so I could have the correct auxiliary chord. I haven’t had a system installed in over 15 years so it was definitely cheaper back then but when they rang me up I was shocked at the cost! I originally said “I’m sorry that’s more than I can afford right now” and left. About an hour later I changed my mind and went back. They let my finance part of my purchase which helped a lot. Even though it was expensive I got more than I hoped for. Josh hooked up my single amp to; two subs and my original 6 factory speakers and installed my new deck. The quality of installation was perfect and my system sounds freakin awesome!!! He even stayed after they closed to show me how everything works and seemed as excited as I was about the work he did. I highly recommend this shop and if you’re lucky enough to have Josh install everything you will get a professional job you’ll be proud of. Thank you Car Toys!

Great communication with great service. The staff here are always helpful and I can always reply on them when I need something installed onto my car. From god navigation to lights, I only get them from car toys. Their products are quality and if you do t like them you can always return it. Stop by and you’ll enjoy their service and their selection. Not to mention their prices which move around a few times so keep an eye out for that...
$130 advertised interior detail turned into $210 with extra fees. Everytime I called to find out if the job was done, no one answered, no answering machine, nothing. Days later when I finally established the vehicle was ready, it took 20min to find where the keys had been left. For the same price, a competitor has done a more thorough job and with much better service.
They did an exceptional job on highly custom installations. Cristian Lopez is a very talented installer who was able to seamlessly integrate a lot of audio and video components into 2 of my vehicles. Pricing on the hardware was very competitive, as they sold me the parts for less than typical online pricing. I plan on using Cristian and Car Toys without hesitation for any future projects that come up.
II called about a blue tooth system and talked with Chris. What a wonderful person. He gave me all the information I needed and requested I see him when I come in. He was perfect and put everything bought in a box for me to wrap for a Christmas present. When we came to leave the truck and then pick it up he was very helpful on helping us understand how to use the new equipment. Thank you Chris for your knowledge, patience helpfulness. When i do decide to put something in my car I will come straight to you!!!!!
Walked in late yesterday looking for a specific radar detector, figured i would spend about the same as i would on amazon and wouldnt have to pay overnight shipping if i bought it in store.the gentleman who helped me was very polite and good at the art of small talk. he also gave me a better deal than the internet, then we got to talking for another 20 minutes about how best to build out navigation system for my jeep. great deal, and he let me pick his brain for 20 minutes on the best way to build stuff out.. good all around. i will go back
I came in the day after my birthday to get a new aftermarket head unit for my aging Benz. While waiting for their attention may be an element to your experience here, the service after which is great. I came in with a notion of what I wanted (ok, more than that as I knew which aftermarket head unit already) and they totally helped me plan out the rest, including the extra pain required because it’s a Mercedes. I left a happy camper with special parts ordered and was awaiting their call back once the parts arrived to schedule the install.Three days later, a young driver pulled a rookie move and no two physical objects can occupy the same space at the same time. While the accident wasn’t major, the cost of the repairs outweigh the value of the car. Total bummer.Custom parts. A technically interesting install looming. I was genuinely worried about the money I had already put down to get the ball rolling.I had a calm, open, and honest conversation with the manager to explain the circumstances, fully expecting I’d eat the cost of the custom parts ordered. Turns out, they’re human and the manager was empathetic to the situation. He ignored the rules, refunded my money without question, and assured me that he understood, that it was no problem to refund the money despite the rules, that he’s been in my shoes before, and that he was sorry to hear of the accident.Truly. Just wait for them to get to you when you come in to look around, they’re pretty great. 🙂
I needed a new radio for my Honda, so stopped by Car Toys to get one. It was a good experience over all. There is an exhaustive selection of car entertainment systems, ranging widely in price and capabilities. I chose one I liked, and came back later for a same-day installation. The installer was very good, finished early and explained the new system to me. I received an itemized bill showing all charges, which the installer also helped me understand. One area to be aware of is their waiting room; its a cramped little corner with a couch and a couple magazines. No coffee, the TV has no reception, not the place to hang out for an hour or two!
The good: they took in my older vehicle and installed speakers and stereo that I purchased, and they got it done same day. The Bad: I was driving home on the freeway and my hood almost flew open because they failed to close it. Also, all the old parts, screws, misc. stuff were strewn in back of cab, on passenger side floor, ...everywhere. They should have boxed or bagged it up. Quite a mess everywhere. The stereo install was fairly shoddy. I need to go to TAP Plastics or something to frame it out neatly. I paid over $350 -- it should have warranted more care.
I got a radio installed last year around Black Friday at the Tacoma location and about two months ago it started acting up, turning on and off by itself, shutting down then remaining on ‘stand by’. Called into the Bellevue location to schedule an appointment and once they realized my warranty was almost ending they got me scheduled for their soonest appointment. They checked the radio and ended up setting me up with the newest model and reinstalling it all free of charge! Very kind and accommodating staff. I am so thankful.
Good service but nothing amazing. Told me the speaker and deck service on my car would take around two and a half hours. Ended up being a little over four hours. It’s not a huge problem, just a little inconvenient. The rating mainly goes to the service technician who guided me through the proper workings of my new audio system. Though I thought I’d be fine without him initially, he pointed out some key things I might have missed.
Every time Ive had to come here, they managed to surprise me by making things worse. They just dont care about the quality of their work. If you have a choice to go somewhere else, do that.
The FM radio isn’t working correctly. Seems the antenna isn’t connected correctly. Other than that pretty happy.
I would recommend car toys they help me put an Android auto in my 2019 tundra thank you
Extremely happy with the service from the Bellevue WA branch of Car Toys. The manager Jeremy has a friendly, helpful and efficient store. It was my first visit there, but well worth the trip. I will be a repeat customer.
Thanks Chris, He is very helpful and explained detail to you how it works. Some just sell to you then no explanation. This time he explain everything. I purchased a new alarm and had to the old one pull and had them put it in my other car and install the new alarm in the new car.

I was quoted $175.00 for an interior detail with carpet steaming and ozone treatment as upcharges. When the ticket was run and payment was requested the employee indicated it would be $211 with taxes. In Bellevue with a tax rate of 10%, this should have amounted to a total of $192.50. If there were additional shop or materials charges, those should have been pointed out as additional charges. Upcharging is one thing, misrepresenting taxes is another.
I got my car done here on the 19th! And it still looks amazing! A little bummed because I spilled coffee in it yesterday. But besides that I am extremely happy with the results. The guy that did my car was named was Matt! He was super nice and helpful. I will be back! Thank you Matt
I paid $750 in advance to have a car alarm installed with 2-way remote and Bluetooth connection to my phone, with option to subscribe later for LTE service and long-distance phone connection, etc.The remote works to turn the alarm on/off, but no 2-way communication. I found the alarm box in the car, opened it, and found the LTE module had not been installed. Went back and the installer and manager said its working (because I was complaining in front of other customers), when its obviously not.It was not even completely installed. Even though we specifically discussed the details and I paid for it, the installer said that I didnt want it completely installed but they could add the module in later if I wanted. Ludicrous. Hahaha...If they had the integrity to admit their mistake and correct it, I would be OK with that, but they acted like it was my fault that they messed up. They dont even want to correct it, instead blamed it on a defective remote.Also, opening the back door does not trigger the alarm as it should. That’s another obvious deficiency that should have been corrected before calling me to pick up my vehicle. There are several other issues too.Then for the installer to ask me to sign acceptance before I’ve had a chance to check it, nobody from Car Toys had signed the quality check line, and for him to get upset and say “Are you calling me a liar?” when I challenged his inspection’ is terribly unprofessional. Plus for the manager to support this ridiculous behavior demonstrates incredible levels of negligence and incompetence.I use my vehicle for work. Already took a day off to have the alarm installed. Now I might have to take another day off for them to fix it, that is if they will admit that it’s done wrong in the first place. Probably better to take it somewhere else to make sure it’s done right.Take your car somewhere else. I don’t want to waste my time and money at Car Toys again.
Best location in bellevue by far. Easily the most affordable as well. I shopped the competition. These guys are the most knowledgeable and are the most friendly.
I found one of my radio mounting bolts on my floor board while cleaning and when I went to put it back in I found that two bolts are missing and its impossible to put in one of them because they messed up the mounting area, when I was given my car back I wasnt even told about the missing bolts.
Recently purchased audio (Black Friday deal) installation was smooth and professional done.
Just bad customer service. That usually has been my experience with most locations I’ve ever been to, but the guys at this one just really didn’t seem to give damn about me or the quality of their work. I regret having gone here and will avoid at all costs in the future
Sales staff was very knowledgeable, product selection was good, scheduling was easy. However the communication on how long the install would take was over promised and underdelivered. I ended up having to call the store two hours after the stated finish time to learn that it would take one more hour until it was done, and by the way where would I like the USB port to be placed. Install job was clean and is working well.
The guys in the store were knowledgable and asked any question I had. They did a very nice install along with a tune for my DSP. My system sounds amazing. If youre looking to spend some good money but have it done right, these are the guys.One word of advice to your sales reps when talking over the phone. Dont refer to someone as buddy, it comes off as demeaning.
I paid $100 for a interior detailing and got a 10 minute vacuum and wipedown. Terrible customer service experience as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Horrible! Management was extremely rude, condescending and not helpful at all with a simple question. So bad I’m taking the deck I just installed and returning it. Don’t expect help if you go there.I ended up going to the Issaquah location and the manager there took really good care of me. He was able to answer the simple question I originally had. Recommend going there if you’re looking for good service.
I value their work and products that they sell. with my last purchase and installation. Everything works great, but unfortunately customer service is not the best one, just average. Over the phone the price was one and in the store was said the different one. In the store they did not talk much unless I start asking them questions, but nothing more than that.
