I had a great experience at the location. I could not recommend Quinton enough.I ended up needing to order my car and throughout the entire process Quinton made sure to always keep me in the loop. I was never left wondering. Any question that I had I was able to text him at any time and he would always respond promptly. He cares for his clients and its seen when he builds connections and a relationship. When it came down to pick up my new car, Quinton was there on his day off guiding me through the process and staying after hours to make sure I was good to go. He is an outgoing and kind person, if you get a chance to work with him I recommend it!As for this Bellevue location, I have no bone to pick. They are pretty efficient and facilities are clean. The service department and I have had slight run ins, but nothing overly concerning (Ive been a part of the Suburu family for 3 years). I definitely recommend this location over the others.
My husband and I had a great experience at Michaels Subaru of Bellevue. We were lucky enough to have Quinton help us every step of the way with our car buying experience. He was patient with us through the whole process until we found the Forester that was right for us. We chose to travel to Michaels Subaru versus a more local dealer due to Quinton making us feel like he wanted to find the right car for us and not just selling us any car. He was extremely personable and took time to get to know my husband and I which we greatly appreciated. We cannot recommend Quinton enough!
Never get your car serviced at this location. I brought my car in for a recall and left with a broken touch screen. The manager told me they don’t check touch screens after they unplug the battery even though they know sometimes touch screen don’t work after you remove the battery.
Kai was our salesman. Friendly, intelligent, worked hard for us to keep us satisfied with our trade-in numbers. We were one of the lucky ones that walked in on that perfect day to find only one 2021 Crosstrek unspoken for. Kai grabbed it for us, waited only 3 days to drive away the most perfect car. Kai, may you have more people like us that bring you great reviews and wish you lots of sales success, you deserve it! J & K
This place gets it done. I was a first time buyer and they had ever person on hand trying to get me this deal. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone. They got me a killer deal on a car. I didnt even negotiate and they took down the price to fit my needs. I worked with Jeremy and he was amazing. So amazing that I recommended a co worker to go and look at cars there. The entire team treated me like family and were attentive to every detail. And I mean every detail.
I purchased my 2019 Outback Subaru with this dealership back in July 2021. I had my first service done with the Service Department for the first time this past week, which I can say was the worst car service I have ever received. The day I brought my car in, the Rep I was working with called me around noon and left a voicemail to say they still didnt know what was wrong with my vehicle and that they probably would need to keep the car till the end of the week. In this voicemail there was no mention of a loaner car or what my options were to cover for the fact that I would be without a car for a week. I called back and left a voicemail asking what my options were and when I should return that day. After not hearing back from the Rep and having no response to my calls for the next 4 hours, I spoke with the receptionist who said to come in before they close so I could speak to the Rep about getting a loaner. That same week, on Friday, I received a call from the Rep saying they found the issue and it was the Fuse box that caused my tail lights not to work but the part wouldnt come in until the following Tuesday. On Monday I received the call that my car was ready for pick up (which I was pleased it was done earlier). When I picked up the car, I hadnt noticed that in the trunk of my car everything was still disassembled, parts all over the trunk, and part of the plastic was damaged where it was removed. It wasnt until the next morning when I opened the trunk when I noticed this. I called the service center and was told to bring my car back that day. Many concerns with how my experience went but the main ones are: 1) it is clear they are understaffed and unable to provide safe and good quality service to their customers and 2) If that is what the back of my trunk looked like, what is to say there wouldnt be parts missing internally of the car? I can honestly say I did not feel comfortable leaving with my car and hesitate to go back there again in fear this quality of service would happen again.I want to provide this review in hopes that the GM for this location and Subaru Company will provide the proper support and staffing thats needed at this location. It is clear the staff are not able to deliver safely if the demand at that location is too high.
Originally we went to Toyota of Renton to browse/ test drive trucks with the possibility of purchasing. We were greeted by a salesperson and received rude looks and dismissive conversation and elected to leave shortly after. After having a bad experience at Toyota of Renton, we went to Toyota of Bellevue on July 9. BEST DECISION! The second we entered the lobby a gentleman greeted us with a smile and directed us to the Toyotas and Tundras. He was very transparent about the trucks selling fast and are options are limited due the crisis of car production. Michael Lambert (salesperson) was very honest, wise, and communicative and well informed about the vehicles. We got complimentary chocolate chip cookies and cool water! We got to meet his team including Murphy (hilarious, Communicative and Intelligent) and Lewis (wonderful smile, friendly, understanding, informative, great with numbers). There were unexpected technical issues, resulting in delays but every single one of them kept us in the loop. This made the waiting process worth it. We will be returning for a 4RUNNER. This was the best experience I have had buying a vehicle so far.
My husband and I had been discussing purchasing a new vehicle. Subaru was in our list alone with a couple of other brands. Art Campos was very knowledgeable, patient and professional, listened closely to our questions and provided excellent information and advice. His main concern was that we were making the right choice for our needs. When we decided to purchase a Forester, he made sure we had very smooth and stress free deal, got all of our questions answered and even paired our phones to the car once the purchase was final. Thank you Art Campos for making this such an easy experience. We love our Forester! I would highly recommend asking for Art if you happen to stop by this dealership. It was without a doubt the very best car buying experience we have ever had. Everyone we met at this dealer was friendly and helpful. We appreciated that we weren’t pressured or rushed into anything we weren’t sure about. I highly recommend Michaels Subaru of Bellevue.
Our sales person was Tim and he walked us through all of our options in detail. He was patient, never pushy - he really just gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. We ultimately decided to lease a new 2021 Subaru Forester Sport and, while its only been a couple weeks, we are VERY HAPPY with our choice.Art was our finance guy and he was great,as well. Fully explained what we were signing our lives away for, broke down all the fun financial stuff, and made the process of buying/leasing a car (which in the past has always been a chore Id rather NOT have to go through) a really easy and fun experience.Tim then took the time to teach us all the ways our car is smarter than we are before taking the bow off the hood to let us drive it home!Their maintenance warranty is really affordable so we added that to our loan and we feel confident we made the right decision choosing Tim and Michaels Subaru. The only criticism I have is... I REALLY wanted to keep the red bow! :)
This review is for Kevin Moore. I brought my car in for a recall and didn’t expect my first experience at the Subaru Service center to be so smooth. Kevin was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. He was attentive every step of the way and kept me informed. A very hard worker and he kept a smile on his face with every customer. I hope management will read this and relay this back to Kevin.I am now considering bringing my car to Michael’s for future servicing.👍
Bought a used Subaru here a few years back. Went to try and sell it and found out it has a branded title from New Jersey. The Washington title has been washed and shows clean. Thats a federal crime. I went in to have them fix their problem and they couldnt be bothered to help me. I was told they have no responsibility to do anything and referred me to a used car dealer to buy my car. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General.Update: The general manager, Mark King, reached out and wasnt able to solve my problem. Unfortunately they are not willing to buy the car back for the true value, only a low ball amount. The biggest issue is, they say there is nothing they can do, but that isnt true. They are just not willing to do anything.
Michaels Subaru was one of the easiest buying experiences Ive had. Ive owned seven vehicles and two motorcycles, and this was the second best buying experience, only behind Tesla where I did everything online and never went into a dealership. It was an excellent process from start to finish. I stopped in on a Saturday morning and wasnt bombarded with sharks. I browsed the lot, and went into the office where I met Tim. I test drove an Outback as they appraised my trade. Their trade offer was fair but just under what I wanted so we met in the middle and made a good deal for both parties. I put a deposit on the car and came back two days later with my wife. We submitted our financial information online before picking up the vehicle, so all the paperwork was ready before our pickup appointment. It took 25 minutes from the time we entered the dealership to the time we drove off in the vehicle. The salesmen and finance manager werent pushy at all and made the process enjoyable instead of miserable like so many other dealers. They didnt ask me to write any review but this was a rare enough car buying experience that its easy for me to highly recommend Tim Hunley & this Subaru dealer to anyone.
My lease is expiring next month and I decided to purchase my Impreza and finance through the dealership. I called and left a message for the finance manager at 1000 hours on Monday. I received no callback that day, so I called again on Tuesday at 1100 hours. By 1600 hours on Tuesday I still had not received a callback, and the receptionist said she would hand deliver the message to the finance manager right away. Still no callback by Wednesday, so I called again at 1000 hours on Wednesday. Still no callback. I called my bank and they will finance it in one day. Let me say this, if you are a Vet thinking you would get better service, well, I am a 75 year old disabled Vietnam Vet, and life member of Vietnam Veterans of America. Think again.
Clint Miller! Thats the name of the guy you should look for if youre looking into getting the car of your dreams. He is all around excellent, Very knowledgeable and has exceptional customer service! He made the whole car buying experience very exciting and fun. He listened to EVERYTHING I asked for and more. He really went above and beyond. I also want to shout out Jake the business manager for a very well detailed experience! Out of all the dealerships we dealt with in the past and this time, my experience with Michaels Subaru, Clint, Jake and Sean was all around exceptional!I was very nervous and intimidated knowing that I have to deal with car dealerships! I went online and basically e-mailed 4 dealerships within the area. Out of the 3, Clint stood out. He is was very transparent and respected my wishes. You should see my review on walkers, it was a whole different experience. He was very pleasant to do business with. Our negotiation was not stressful, intimidating and pushy. We did that via text and e-mail! Great for people like me who likes to have that time to think things thoroughly! I am grateful and thankful for people who listens, patient and respects my wishes. I am completely satisfied. I now drive a 2021 Subaru Outback - Touring! (our negotiation was that great that Im able to afford it!)I hope this review helps you narrow down your choices and stress! Goodluck!
Yesterday I came in looking for an Impreza. I was looked after by Jeremy and Jake. They went above and beyond making sure I understood everything I was signing, helping me get the best deal and Jeremy even brought my rental car back to Enterprise for me while I was wrapping up. Jake put up with my mom being on speaker phone asking clarification and made sure he got me the right deal in my price range. Im not usually blown away but the customer service and the positive attitude that both of these employees had was genuine. I was in the market for a new car after mine was stolen a few weeks back. In that interim it has been nothing but stress of filing out forms & waiting on hold while I got everything worked out. This experience was the opposite. Buying a car is a huge deal and I felt that Jeremy and Jake truly tried to empathize with my situation and get me the best deal and the safest car. Jeremy even helped me decide between two cars citing which one he would want his daughter to drive. Oh and he wouldnt let me leave until he helped me set up blue tooth in my new ride. Thanks so much guys. I appreciate you.
Took our forester in for recall work and windshield replacement, I understand that the service department doesn’t clean the entire interior after service but they could have at least cleaned up the mess they made. Debris from the windshield replacement was all over the dash, mud across the steering wheels and debris inside the vents...Looks like I’ll be spending the afternoon detailing my car..
Buyer Beware! Thats old adage and its true if you buy a used vehicle from Michaels Subaru. First off let me say that all the salesmen I dealt with were great. Nice, respectful, no pressure to buy. The sales experience was not the issue. However the car they sold me had a major issue that was somehow missed by their Safety inspection I was told about. (also a broken brake light bulb some how passed inspection too). I found out the transmission fluid was mixing with radiator fluid when I got nervous about a long road trip coming up and took to my mechanic 10 days after purchasing it.$800 for a transmission flush (and some other things they could have done inexpensively to sell a good car) and $800 hundred later and a new radiator I contacted my sales guy and told him about it. He said hed see what he could do. When he got back to me he said the GM offered to pay $400 of the bill. Dont get me wrong I cashed the check but do I feel made whole? Nope. They knew I was in a bind and wanted out of my truck loan and sold me a dangerous vehicle that likely would have left me and my family on the side of the road somewhere. The truck I traded was purchased last year at Michaels Toyota next door. They repriced it $7000 higher than I bought it for. Between that purchase the trade in and the used vehicle I purchased they likely made 10 to 15 grand off me in the last 8 months and then offer to help me out by giving me $400 towards a repair bill on a vehicle they shouldnt have sold in that condition. I thought all the 5 star reviews meant Michaels Subaru a trustworthy place to do business with. Turns out they are just another shady used car dealership. Check out the other 1 star reviews, Im not the only one. If your looking for a used car take your business somewhere else.
It was wonderful experience at Michael Subaru, right from the beginning i got support and question answered on time.Especially i would really Appreciate John Frackenpohl for helping and answering all the queries.John helped on providing the car model, various color and test driving as well.He is very friendly and cleared my all doubts very patiently. Really Appreciate his help through out the process.Highly Recommend for any buyers to go to Michael Subaru.
Just had a horrible experience with the parts department. Drove an hour after they told me they had the part I needed. I bought our car there originally and provided the vin number over the phone trying to ensure they had what I needed. Upon arrival they said they made a mistake and it would have to be ordered. With Seattle traffic half my day is gone! No apology or solution was discussed. Ineptitude at its finest.
The customer service is the best I have ever experienced at any car dealership! Ray and Art were the best duo when it came down to the paper work and explanation of what needed to happen. They were transparent, willing to help, and made me feel like I was a priority. Those two really made my experience of Michaels Subaru of Bellevue one to remember. This alone made experience enjoyable. The organization and attention to detail was also such a great and comforting feeling.
Jeremy was extremely helpful. Fast and responsive. Ask for him and u won’t be disappointed. We purchased 2020 Ascent in June 2022.
Great people to work with. Worked most with Ray Germani in Internet Sales.
Purchase and service was great. Until service appt today. Dude, its the service dept, I would expect at least a LITTLE bit of service. Nope. Seriously, you would get better service at home depot. So, if you are looking for an easy appt, service, quote and human decency, go elsewhere. Going to Michaels ruined my day.
This review is for Yeng- The first day I talked to him and told him what I was looking for- hes been so helpful and on top of everything. Hes worked so hard on finding what I wanted. Great work and customer service. Keep it up Yeng.
Top of the line experience. Great from start to finish. Highly recommended.I bought a lower end used car and was still treated wonderfully. Great bunch of folks.
BLUF: If you want an awesome, hassle free car buying experience visit Yeng Moua at Micheals of Bellevue. If you want to make a well informed decision about coverages with just the facts and no hassle, visit Jake at Michaels of Bellevue.Yeng took great care of me from start to finish. He was always a consummate professional even during the price negotiation phase. The best part of my experience was Yeng Moua taking fantastic care of me throughout the deal. I test drove with Yeng and then shopped around for a couple weeks. No other dealership matched my experience with Yeng at Michaels Subaru of Bellevue. He emailed once to ask if I had any questions he could help me with. I returned and Yeng was just as welcoming and enthusiastic as when I first met him. He brought the car around and I decided to commence dealing. Even during the price negotiation phase Yeng was phenomenal. Straightforward, no hassle. We came to a great deal I was happy with, which meant a lot. After the deal was made, Yeng transferred me to Jake to consider coverages and other products to protect my vehicle and again, phenomenal experience. Jake, like Yeng, took me through the details, weighed pros and cons and allowed me to make the decision. They did throw in additional coverages to enhance my first year of ownership. Once the purchase was complete, which was an hour or so after closing, Yeng met me at my new WRX, which had just been detailed (cleaned thoroughly), and fully fueled, ready for the road. He took a picture with me and off I went. I have purchased a number of vehicles Audi, Toyota, Pontiac, Cadillac. I have purchased motorcycles, BMW, Kawasaki, Suzuki. None of those purchases were as good as my experience at Michaels of Bellevue. Not only was the process fair and transparent, but the machine has been absolutely fantastic. Jake said Michaels treats their customers like family. Thats how I feel after my purchase. Like a member of the Michaels of Bellevue family.H Hamilton
I caught them openly lying to me on more than one occasion. First was when they told me that many more services are REQUIRED BY SUBARU at a particular mileage than listed in the maintenance schedule that comes with the car. Second time they failed to program to my car an OEM key fob that was previously used with another car. First time they failed to notice that the model of the key was wrong, but the second time the key fob was of the correct model and ultimately it was successfully paired with my car by an independent locksmith. But this dealership claimed that (very expensive!) Subaru key fobs can be programmed only once, to one car only. They, of course failed to present any Subaru documents supporting their lies. Today I had a scheduled appointment. When I came the first thing I heard is that my car doesnt have a fuel filter to be replaced as the maintenance schedule book requires at 72k. But then I was denied service whatsoever because of my previous demeanor. They dont like to be caught red-handed lying by too smart customers. While maintenance schedule table that comes with a car is not exactly rocket science. Are they hoping they will have enough customers who never read it? Update: The Subaru of America first seemed understanding and promised a resolution. But then they called and the only resolution they offered was to go to another dealership. They refused to take any measures against this one. Apparently, they dont care and/or dont believe what bad customers say. Well, I just hope that at some point they will have received a number of complaints sufficient to convince them that it is not the bad customers but rather such retailer partners who generate more damage than profit for the brand and company.
After looking for the right car for months, we finally found the right car for us and most humane car buying experience at Michaels Subaru. Kai was a good listener and helped us clarify for ourselves what we really wanted in a new car purchase.Kai was cordial, knowledgeable and actively sought to create the best financial deal possible. Ben swooped in to fine-tune the transaction and we ended up with a final number that made us all happy. My husband and I appreciated the family atmosphere at Michaels; we felt respected and welcomed by all staff we encountered. It is evident that the staff has been well trained with a high degree of professionalism. These are the reasons well be heading back to Michaels when we need our next vehicle. Thanks again Kai and Ben--we are really enjoying our purchase and well see you next time in your new expanded facility!Judi and Frank
Ray Germani is the BEST. As a young woman, I’ve experienced my fair share of rude car sales people who have tried to inflate my budget, dismiss my concerns, and so on. Well, not with Ray. I emailed with Ray back and forth for a bit - and by the time I came in for my appointment, I knew I was in good hands. Ray took care of everything seamlessly, asked me my concerns, and answered every question I had. I felt like I was buying a car from a longtime family friend. By the end of my appointment, my sister and I turned to each other and expressed our gratitude for having worked with Ray. My sister is planning to buy a car within the next year, and I know when that time comes- we will come back to work with Ray.
I come here to get my car serviced, and I love their professionalism. They get requested work done on time, answer all the questions I have, and are supremely organized. Highly recommend!
My family has purchased two vehicles from Clint Miller over the past 4 years. In both instances he was both accommodating and professional; no surprise charges or attempts to steer us toward a different vehicle. Despite the fact that it took me multiple visits to decide, he always respected my approach and was very responsive to phone calls and emails. While we were able select a vehicle, apply for financing and finalize the price virtually, I didn’t like the fact that I had to sit in the Finance manager’s office during a pandemic. All of that paperwork should be able to be signed digitally and his sales pitch could be done in a video call. I highly recommend Clint as a salesperson and wouldn’t hesitate to continue to do business with him.I returned a week after taking delivery to have a hitch installed by the service department and was well taken care of. While I was expecting to get a 1.25” receiver, my service rep, Jessica, told me that apparently the new OEM receiver is only available in 2”. It wasn’t a problem because she ordered me an adapter, which I received 2 days later. The tech did an excellent job installing the hitch; it’s extremely well integrated into the bumper. Upon returning the loaner, I forgot two bags in the trunk. Another service advisor was happy to retrieve the vehicle so I could get my belongings. Overall, a good experience!
Service is over priced and service is average. The parts department is particularly unhelpful
The service department cant be trusted. Be careful if they say you need to change your tires because there is a puncture. They never patch them and ask you to replace it with a new one. I was able to get it fixed for free outside.
10/6/20***Update to review 3 STAR: Customer service relations manager, Kiristin, personally reached out to me regarding my concern. I felt she really wanted to understand where my experience went wrong, which was nice. We discussed in detail my service issue and she provided me a customer service credit for my failed diagnosis. Further she said she would carry out training to help their service team avoid this mistake in the future. Now knowing Kirstin has an interest in my future experience with Subaru service, I would give them another try in the future.Original review: 1 STARUseless service department failed! Their best mechanic was incorrect in diagnosing my car trouble. Good thing I did not take their word for it because the Service Advisor tried selling me $4000 worth of parts and service my car did not need!!! I paid them $160/ hour to diagnose and tell me BS!Afterwards, I worked on my car at home and found the issue was debris that had to be cleaned out in the turbo and was able to fix it myself without any new parts. They told me the catalytic converters were bad requiring a completely new exhaust system replacement costing thousands!!DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS, RUN!!
Just had my 2016 Forester serviced at Michaels. They were Prompt, Thorough, and even Provided Me with a Great Loaner Car! Couldnt have been Easier. Definitely going back when the Time comes for a New Subaru.
I had never been to this location before, I was pleasantly surprised with how friendly everyone was. I didnt have an appointment for service but I was still taken care of in a timely fashion. They were honest and caring, and understood how valuable their customers time is! I will definitely be getting all of my services performed at their service center from now on.
Phenomenal dealer experience when it comes to bringing in my car for maintenance. They always take great care of me and have my back when it comes to any questions or concerns that may arise.I had the team at Bellevue do an indepth assessment of my rig when I first bought it (from another dealership) back in October, and very quickly they determined that there were some serious concerns regarding the vehicle I had just bought. Long story short, the assistant service managers, service technicians, and shop technicians made sure I was aware of everything and did not want me to take my vehicle home due to the extent of the damage that was unreported by the previous dealer.I dealt with both Michael and Nick (assistant service managers) and could not be happier. They both were willing to arrange an uber for me to get home safely and leave the car there for the other dealership to come pickup the car with a trailer and have it fixed up properly. They both also vouched for me by providing documentation of the damage that was found on the vehicle and a breakdown of estimated cost to repair so that Id have a stronger case against the dealer I had bought the car from. After several months and strong arming the other dealership to correct their wrong, I still bring in my car to Michaels of Bellevue because of the lasting impression I had from the very start. The people in this dealership all care about the experience that you have and truly look out for your best interests, ESPECIALLY when it comes to your safety with your vehicle. This team is very professional, fun to talk to and they always have your back even when extreme and unprecedented circumstances arise. My hats off to the team in Bellevue. You have gone above and beyond to earn my business 🙌🏼
Tl;dr: The service department made a mistake and the customer service after was terrible. They seem very busy and I can’t help but feel like that translates to less care taken with each service appointment.I took my car in for service on June 2nd for an oil change and general inspection. Everything seemed fine at the time, but last night I noticed a fairly large spot of oil under my car that I had previously assumed was just water runoff. This morning I called as soon as the service center opened to ask them to look at the leak since it seemed odd that it was happening right after an oil change. They told me they could slot me in for Monday (its currently Thursday). When I told them I can’t wait that long they put me one hold and came back 5 min later saying everyone was busy and they could call me back later to see if they could slot me in sooner, but again asked if I’d like to make that appointment for Monday. To me this sounds like I’m not getting service any time soon.I got off the phone with them and called around and found a place that would take me in right away. After a short inspection they told me “the oil pan plug was loose (the crush washer was not crushed)”. It ended up costing me another $80 to get all the oil cleaned up and refilled. When I called Subaru back to let them know this they told me “Well you really should have waited for us to call you back, we would have fixed it for free”. I understand that mistakes happen but this seems like a pretty big one on a very routine procedure. I don’t know a lot about cars but I believe if this hadn’t been caught when it had that I could have damaged the engine.Overall Subaru’s handling of this situation has been terrible. At no point during the first call was I assured waiting for a call-back would mean my car was looked at today. At no point during the second call did Subaru apologize or offer me anything other than “bring the car to us to make sure everything else is fine.” The problem has already been fixed on my own dime. My trust in the service department was shaken by the mistake but it the poor handling of the aftermath that really caused this review.
Bought a new 2018 Subaru Outback from this dealership. The sales and leasing specialist Jeff Blum has done a pretty good job explaining about the car and absolutely no complaints on this part of my buying experience. The reason for this poor review is their Finance Department. The Finance Manager sold the maintainence package, saying that if I do not use any of the services from the maintainence package for any reason, the pro-rated amount would be reimbursed back to me by the end of the maintainence period (3 years).Due to COVID and other reasons, I could not use all the services from the maintainence package. The 3 years period recently completed and when I called their Finance Department for reimbursement of the unused services. The Finance Manager gave below reasons to avoid the payment. He finally said he will talk to his boss and come back with an answer, but never called me.1. The dealership was undergoing merger process during that time and rules have changed.2. I would have one year time to use the remaining services from the maintainence package.3. I should not skip services on my car.On #3, when I told him that I could not get the car maintainence done last year due to COVID, he said their was open and it was not their problem. Really?Do not buy from this dealership, they do not stand by their word. Why would you charge your customer for service that you have not offered?
I had my leaking head gasket replaced at Subaru of Bellevue that cost over $2200. I have not been driving very much due to the pandemic and recently moved to the south end. I took my car into Subaru of Puyallup 1 year and 5 months after the initial service for a general inspection only to find my head gasket was leaking again.I called Subaru of Bellevue to see if they could repair, but was told the warranty only lasted for one year. Since I had not been driving much during the pandemic I didnt think the head gasket would be leaking already.I understand the rules of the warranty, but this just goes to show the quality of their service and their lack of remorse for providing such poor quality service.I do not recommend their service department.
I recently purchased a Forester from Michaels Subaru of Bellevue and the experience was incredible! I never felt pressured or rushed, just well taken care of throughout the whole process. The people I worked with went above and beyond in their service to help me find exactly the right car for my needs. Thank you Ray, Kirstin and Connie for all your help!
The staff here is friendly and welcoming. Every time I come here I receive consistent and quality service. Everything is explained to me with honesty and transparency. Michael’s is my go-to dealership and I trust them with my car.
Kai was amazing! His knowledge of the models and hospitality on the lot made our first time car buying experience completely stress free. Best experience we had out of the three dealerships we went to.
I purchased a 2021 Subaru Forester with the assistance of Hieu, who was an incredible agent to work with. I was coming from Houston and Hieu made every effort to ensure that the car I wanted was available and held for me until I came to Seattle. Hieus customer service was unmatched in both his timeliness and friendliness. Even when I came to pick up the car, he made sure that every specification I asked for was there in the car. I would strongly recommend purchasing a car from this dealership and particularly from Hieu.
My new place to go, after walker Subaru Renton wanted almost $200 more for a remote start for my wifes outback and would not match it or even discuss it, up to that point we had bought the car from them and all the service done there. Micheals Subaru to me has an awsome service department and more then willing to do everything they can to assure a great experience. 👍
I just purchased my first car, and the process was easy and seamless. John, our salesman, answered all of my questions and listened to what I was looking for in a new vehicle. Shelly in finance informed me of all the different maintenance and warranty packages in a way that was clear to a first time buyer. Overall, everyone I encountered made me feel welcome and comfortable. I would strongly recommend Michaels Subaru to my friends and family.
The Assistant Service Manager made me feel at ease. He explained things well, offered me a good deal, and was upfront about what needed to happen right then and there. I was able to use a loaner and also return it easily. Though it wasnt a cheap repair, he made the whole process as easy as possible.
Christian Graham in sales and Shelby Wilson in finance dept were absolutely amazing to work with! On the purchase of my new car! I have been buying and leasing cars from Michaels for years (before it chaplins 15 yrs now.) They are two great folks! Buying cars when your a woman is frustrating to say the least- most car sales people take it as an opportunity to take advantage. But these two were great! I was given lots of options, they explained everything in detail, and I was not pressured which was amazing.I would highly recommend seeing them for your next car, or lease purchase! =)
I LOVE this place. I bought my car here three years ago from William; he was great to work with and still remembered me even after three years. He had only excellent things to say about the company and his bosses, which says a lot about this place. Scott in the service department and his team are the only people I trust with my vehicle, they are honest and totally understanding of budgets, priorities, and they have never tried to upsell me just for the sake of it. Whitaker was also extremely polite and helpful while I was waiting for my service to be finished, offering me coffee and checking in on me. Overall, I am so satisfied with this place and appreciate coming here; I was joking when I arrived that its almost the same feeling as showing up to the salon. I will be back for every service my CrossTrek needs!
I have owned my Subaru for 10 years and every time I bring my car into this service department I am impressed. This last time I came in I was most impressed with Kevin Moore who didn’t stop working on my car until he figured out what was wrong! I don’t know if anybody else would have done that for me! Thanks Kevin!
I dont write reviews that often. I do when things are really good or really bad.We were shopping for a new Impreza for our children. We went to several different dealerships around the area including Tacoma.Worst: Walkers Renton Subaru. The sales manager at this dealership was very rude.Best: Michaels Subaru of Bellevue. This was where we bought the vehicle. It has been about seven months now. We are very appreciative of Michaels Subaru. They go out of their way to answer questions and address issues. We brought the car in a few times for services including the 6,000 mile maintenance. We were always treated nicely. All questions and concerns have always been properly addressed with no fusses. We highly recommend this place and will for sure go back if we ever need another Subaru.P.S. For comparison purpose, we drive a Cadillac and a BMW and have our cars serviced at the respective dealerships also.
My experience with the service department was excellent. I made an appointment here for a regular minor service. They completed the work in an hour while I waited, and it was a very good experience overall. Very efficient service team!
Very professional. They match the market prices. Service is one of the best experience for me. Thanks Michael.
Jason Takahashi and Jeremy Potter were incredibly helpful and transparent - I visited several others in the area and spoke with every Subaru dealership in a 100mi radius, and Michaels is the only operation I would recommend, as the others rely on pressure and manipulation as a sales tactic. Transparency is key when spending 40k on a vehicle, and I trust the team at Michaels to provide a transparent and honest process
Got the 2019 Impreza I wanted down to the very last detail... Michaels made that happen. They brought it in from another dealer so I could pay the price I wanted. And they got it in within a few days... On top of that, everyone was fantastically friendly. The only criticism I would have is, follow up.I havent received one bit of follow up after buying a brand new car, with a large chunk of cash down and now trade in... Im the kind d of person you want to follow up with. Especially since I told you I had 2 other family members in the market for new cars.
Everyone Ive worked with has been deeply interested in making sure Im happy with my purchase. Thats gone well beyond the actual purchase as well, which I appreciate. Sales staff is patient and helpful. Id recommend this dealership to friends and family.
Absolutely excellent. Highly recommended.
Absolutely the best crew over there. Got in and out with our new car with no hassles. Hieu and Sean took really great care of us. Shelby was fabulous with the paperwork. We’re definitely coming back. Thanks guys!
Service was timely and did not have me waiting long with their Express Service.
Took over an hour for a scheduled oil change and then was charged $100. Left me with a sour taste in my mouth.
We had a mixup with wanting to see cars on both lots and Yeng from Subaru and Michael L. from Toyota helped us streamline our process so easily and professionally. I wanted to make sure to give those guys a shoutout for their professionalism and ease in a situation that could’ve been an annoyance. We ended up buying at Toyota and it’s because of their efforts to make our experience so easy.
I had an excellent experience purchasing a new Crosstrek with Michaels. They didnt have the model I was looking for in stock, but Ray and Jeremy organized a swap with another dealership and within hours they had the exact vehicle I was looking for in stock, ready for collection the following day. The process was very smooth, they took the time to answer any questions I had, and Connie in financing was a pleasure to work with. They also included two Remedy ski passes at Snoqualmie which really sealed the deal. Looking forward to continue working with Ray and the team in future, would highly recommend.
Love this place! Every time I get my Impreza serviced here they are quick, thorough and professional. The service bay is always clean and running smoothly. Shout out to Isaac, his customer service is top notch.
The service and sale people were all very friendly. the service people who worked on my car were great and even set me up with sales for an appraisal to buy my car when i asked. the sales guy who handle the buying of my car, Ben, was so nice and informative. he seemed to answer all my questions before i needed to ask. and if he didnt he answered right away. and when i left something in the car he informed me right away so that i could come pick it up.
Ben was straightforward and sincere. He gave off the feeling that he is genuinely putting customers first. Even when Im clearly trying to bargain with him, he did not act like he was dealing with someone who was bargaining, but someone he is trying hard to satisfy, eagerly rather than out of necessity. I dont meet sales reps like that often, and I wish that more are like him. He gets my A++.Connie was also quick, through, and precise. She give me all I needed to know, and made through the final signing process so cleanly. Id been waiting awhile for my turn but when it was my time, time did fly by.
I’ll start by saying I was a tough buyer. This was the first dealership I went to when I started looking at the vehicle I wanted and throughout the process I almost decided not to buy. But Michael’s Subaru did not give up on me. Ben’s team and Jeremy walked me through the buying process and Milad was great and extremely helpful at setting me up with my new car. They also offer a great service package and I am so glad I got my new car from them.
Id been researching smaller SUVs and finally landed on a Subaru Crosstrek. I arranged for a test drive and my amazing sales associate Clint Miller got the vehicle ready for my appointment. Clint talked me through everything, and the test drive was fun! Buying a car is always a process to get through, even after you know the car you want. Clint worked quickly and professionally, and was extremely informative about my new car and answered every question I had and then some! Great experience and I love my car. I know I can call on him for anything I need in the future!
Great experience with their service department and Gabby, specifically. Our routine maintenance turned into a bigger project than expected, but their communication during the whole process was great. I felt like Michael’s Subaru was acting in MY best interest the whole time.
Its so refreshing to shop for a car without the pressure that you would find in most dealerships. I recommend this dealership to anyone whos looking to buy a vehicle!
Easy people to work with, friendly staff.
I am here right now. Called in ten minutes ago to schedule appointment. I was told to just drive in since I only need to patch a tire. When I arrived, the field agent has no clue what I am here for (the rep on the phone has taken all my info and request already, not a new costumer to them). Then I told him what I am here for. And he said will get people to help me. And the guys who came ask me same questions again. They dont have any machenism to communicate each other. I got it, they are busy. One guy promptly responded this is not our fault and we have to charge you when I said the tire was purchased here. Come on, I did not blame them at all for a punctured tire and he acted like I am here looking for trouble. Make me feel a very bad customer myself. I dont mind to pay for service as long as I am treated fairly. But feel the workers and the system here are all very stressed out which results in a suboptimal customer service. I will try to go to Ballard subaru next time.
I joined a friend who picked up a new vehicle paying cash. Took more than two hours despite arriving early at 9am opening. Vehicle was not prepped and had to wait for it to be cleaned, protective films to be removed. The sales person was nice though. Having purchased an Audi a few months back the experience and timing was much better.
Very thankful with the care and concern they show for me and my car. They fixed an issue for me and when I had another sound I couldn’t describe scheduled a time for the tech to ride with me- I feel like I’m heard and they genuinely want to fix my car and aren’t just trying to nickel and dime me. The customer service I’ve received has been fantastic and I will encourage others to use this dealership!
Clear communication & honest/transparency. Thanks for working hard to ensure I felt fully informed and for walking me through every detail of my deal—it helped me feel great about my final decision. Also, thanks for taking time to ensure I was educated on the car itself by giving me an overview of the manuals, setting up my identity with the car, etc. I had a great experience!
I recently purchased a 2012 Forester from Michaels Subaru and had a seamless buying experience. My salesman, Al took great care of me throughout the process.I had to drop off a check the following day and mentioned that the car seemed to be having trouble starting, so talked to the sales team. They sent me up to the mechanics and they replaced my battery without hassle or charge.I also appreciate that they welcome dogs! I had to hang out for awhile while they worked on the battery and my pup got to hang out with me in the waiting area.
Great service, saw Scott and he was respectful and and had grace with me working nightshift.Everything went smoothly, no complaints. The new lyft service instead of the old shuttle service ROCKS. Please keep it even after covid, the convenience is perfect 👌
The least stressful car buying experience of my life. My first Subaru and I didnt know what I wanted, Alex was so helpful and patient. I needed to understand the Subaru in general, to drive a few models, to go home and sit with what I was learning. When I purchased my beautiful new Outback I felt confident in my decision. Everyone at the dealer was so kind and helpful. Even the experience in the little room to finalize the purchase was pleasant. While I did choose to purchase an extended warranty and protection package, I did not feel manipulated or pressured in any way - what a surprise. All in all, its a great dealership with stellar people and a fabulous product, what more can you want in a car buying experience.
They took care of us. I always love dealing with these guys. Ive had a ton of interaction with the service department which is top notch and the front of the house isnt any less awesome. Haakon was easy to deal with and made sure we understood everything and had all of our questions answered. It was a great experience. Ill be recommending this dealership to everyone I know.
Michael’s Subaru made getting into a new car easy and hassle free. Highly recommend working with Haakon Andor. He’s the man! 🤘
So my extended service is over for my 2017 Outback and I’m not sad about it...Not because I won’t have to lift a finger maintaining my Subaru but because I have access to a garage and the ability to perform my own maintenance. What I will be sad about is the excellent customer service at Michael’s. After a poor buying experience at Subaru of Renton I’m happy to have brought my Outback to this Service department. I will likely buy my next Subaru from Michaels... which will probably be when this one breaks. So I guess it was nice knowing you
We met with Ray and (sorry for the mis-spelling) Wedicor during our visit to the store. They were both welcoming and friendly. Ray was very professional and informative with all of our questions. Wedicor went with two test drives with us, and made the experience so much fun. Although, in the end, we decided to go with another brand, we would totally come back if ever want a Subaru in the future.
Ask for Ben Holcomb if you want to buy a Subaru in the Puget Sound area. I reached out to multiple dealerships at the same time and the professionalism and communication from Ben was amazing. He went above and beyond multiple times and I would encourage anyone to go to Michael’s because of Ben. We love our Forester!
From start to finish my experience at Michael’s Subaru Inn Bellevue was outstanding. I was not interested in spending my time trying to haggle, with Michael’s I received an offer that was equitable before I even walked through the door. All of the sales staff were amazing and really went the extra mile to make sure that I had a good experience. They offer a VIP program at no extra charge to support you after the purchase. I would absolutely recommend my friends and family to join the Michael’s family.
Benjamin and Ray were a pleasure to work with and the whole Michaels team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs concerning Covid. They even went as far as setting tables up outside to do all the paperwork and and were very respectful with mask use and social distancing. Great car buying experience and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to others.
Will not be going back. After years of service I was lied to today about what was done with car, last time they forgot my radiator cap. I spent a lot of money for a prepaid service package and I do not and will not trust them anymore
Updating with my most recent experience with the service department:Recently I bought a used Subaru from Michael’s Subaru (see details below this review) and I had an excellent experience with everyone at the dealership. While driving to work in my other Subaru which is a Legacy I started to have a metal on metal sound coming from my wheelwell. At first I thought maybe my brake pads were low, but the sound got worse and was not happening when braking. I pulled off the road, could not see any visible issue, but even if I moved a foot forward or reverse the horrible sound was back. I was worried something major was wrong and was not sure if it was safe to drive.I towed the car to Michael’s Subaru, they had let me know they likely would not be able to work on it for a few days due to existing service backlog and the weekend. Later that day in a followup call they had a chance to inspect the car and it was ready. What?? They found that a small rock had gotten lodged in between the brake pad. I asked how much I owed when I came to pick up the vehicle and there was no charge!!! I was shocked and they even offered me a car wash voucher. This was my second time interacting with Michael’s Subaru and the second time they treated me with exceptional service. Thank you, all my cars are coming to you going forward for any service needs!------Recently, we were in the market for a used Subaru. After looking around for a few weeks, we decided to purchase an Outback from Michael’s Subaru. Went in and met Haakon who was very easy to work with. The process was low stress and we felt fair and reasonable. At other dealers we had been looking at the sales staff laid on pressure from the moment we walked into their store for a decision to buy even though we were just looking. Not so with Haakon and the folks at Michael’s Subaru it was a completely different experience. They respected that we were looking and were ready when we were.In the end we purchased a used Outback and had the next major 105K service which was due in about 5K miles included as part of the purchase. While doing the 105K service they found the heads needed to be machined down, this was not part of the service. Since they had the engine apart for the service they just did it no questions asked. This delayed our delivery by a few days but it was all for a good cause and again no cost to me, they just did the right thing for me their customer. All the staff we interacted with from Haakon to finance were excellent. We walked away having a great car buying experience. Michael’s Subaru has earned my trust and business. I will come back when any of my Subaru’s needs service or when I am ready to buy a new one. Thank you!
Again great customer service everybodys treated well
This was my first scheduled maintenance appointment. I was met promptly, all employees were very polite, and I was happy to see everyone wearing masks and gloves. The waiting area was clean and comfortable with room to work, although I didnt get much done because the appointment took much less time than anticipated. Not a bad thing!
I changed my review, deleted my old one actually. I had some issues with a car I bought “as is” after talking to Kristin she helped me out. I felt really supported and they appreciated me being an essential worker. I feel lot better that the men that helped me no longer work there and I can safely recommend this location to family and friends.
Do not hesitate to purchase a car from Michaels Subaru of Bellevue! We had a great experience and you will too!
Gentleman named Christian helped me. Their Subaru Forester was going to be my first car purchase, and, knowing this, Christian made sure I fully understood all the logic behind financing, ways to sort out insurance and taking it out for inspection before buying. He was a helper and an educator! I did end up buying a Ford f150 at a different place, since I decided it might be a better investment considering the variety of tools Ill be purchasing. But if youre interested in any of their cars, and Christian helps you, worry no more.
Had a great experience today with Milad Bashiri! He has great customer service and explained everything to us. He didn’t sugar coat anything and gave us a great deal on my new Subaru crosstreck!
Another great shopping experience #$4The sales department worked together to make this an excellent experience. I went in with a specific list of the vehicle and the accessories I wanted. There wasnt one on the lot and nothing which was close so... Tim Hunley went above and beyond to find my perfect car!!
