Love this car wash! I appreciate that they dont leave the plastic interior with a coat of wax-y substance like other car washes Ive been to do.Went back to get my interior shampooed and they did a wonderful job getting an oil stains from a bike out of my seats!!

Had my car detailed at Shine Auto Spa yesterday. Im sorry I did not get the name of the gentleman who worked on my car. He wanted to show me my car before I paid to be sure I was happy with the work. Boy, was I ever! My car hasnt looked this beautiful since I bought it. FANTASTIC JOB!Just wish I could keep it this clean!Thank you Shine Auto Spa!!!

I’ve been using this car wash for about 5-6 years now. It’s always been super convenient, especially with the monthly unlimited wash subscription. And now with the new owners, things run even more smoothly. I would definitely recommend coming here !

Most car washes overlook many things, i.e not vacuuming an entire row of seats. But this car wash didnt miss much compared to others. I will say my tires werent cleaned very well. They needed a good brushing that the machines cant get to. This isnt my first option, but I would revisit in the future.

I played 30 dollars for top service.. I received a 10 dollars wash... stain Marks every where .. they power wash my Matts and threw then in the car soaked and wet.. I got there at 5 o clock and they tried to deny me service.. thought they closed at 6? By far the most expensive worst service ever. Other places offer top service for less and much better detail job. Half of my tire has shine the other half does not.. how does one manage to throw a tire shine on a hood of a car and not notice it to clean it.. and lastly the machine only cleaned one side of my car the other side is half dirty.. seriously? Not worth the 30 dollars I just wasted..

I have a monthly membership here and now with the new owners it’s completely transformed! I love the service here and my car comes out like brand new each time!! Definitely recommendEd for sure.

I got an interior detail today and I am so excited with the results. They were great and really got the muck out. It was about 160$ which was totally worth it. My car looks cleaner than it did when I bought it. Before and after pics attached! So happy! There were crayons and juice and a hot mess thanks to my small child. Now, the car looks and smells great. Great and polite service, too. Dropped off the car at 930 and picked it up at 130.

I really love the service there and my car looks great when its done. You can see how thorough the wash crew is when they are working on your car. Its also a nice shop to walk around in and shop for a few things you might need for your car. Im a Giants fan and I was able to get really nice Giants floor mats. The manager at the shop was really nice and helpful. Overall, it was a great place to take my car for a very thorough wash. I will definitely be back!

Quick and detailed service at reasonable price. The staffs are super nice and they clean vehicle in details before and after wash. They have different monthly package which is worth for money than one time washes. Also they have mechanic onsite that take care of oil change and maintenance. The location is perfect for easy in and out.

Closed at Noon on a Sunday with good weather. No explanation. Have a monthly unlimited plan and cant use it today.Nice way to do business.I wont be back when plan ends. I wont tell anyone to use this place.Stay away!!There are other, better car washes within 2 miles.

Do NOT waste your money here! Horrible service! Their machine on the right side does NOT work therefore you are only getting a wash for your left side of the car. I informed the cashier and requested a discount and her response, we know the right side is not working and still charged me full price for a service I didnt even get. ALSO, the workers did not even do a good job cleaning inside. You would think they would inform you and give you the option to get your car wash there or not. Yet they still charge you full price. Waste of money! Will never come here again!

Shine Auto is pretty good place to go. However I noticed the cleaners use the same cloth they wiped down the dashboard with,, on the windows. So my windshield and the rear window have streaks. Sometimes the outside of rear window still has soap residue on it..looks terrible. Why pay $18 or more, to go ho e and clean the windows..

Ive been coming here faithfully for the past year. I even have the monthly membership through the Everwash app. The staff is always friendly and the service is good. HOWEVER, the last 3 times I came they were closed! I called today 15 minutes ahead to ask if theyre open and was told yes so I came only to find out the owner had just decided to close. They need to notify the monthly membership participants when they decide to close early.

Waste of Money. The Group-on deal is a rip off. They will only honor it if you give them a credit card to be put on file. I asked them to bypass that and let me try the service for a month, the girl refused. She redeemed the offer and would not honor it. The cleaning is bad. I told the vacuum guys to clean under the mattes and they did not. The inside wipe down was not done. The line to get in was long and slow moving. The lady at the register was rude. Its the worst service I have ever had from any car wash.

Went to get my car detailed. Was told to be there by 8 am because it is a four hour process on a Saturday morning, I get there before they open to make sure that I will be out by 12 noon, I tell the manager and the guy that doing the detailing that I am there. I walk back to see how far he had gotten at 10 am. I get back there and he working on another car instead of mines. When I bring is to the cashier attention, she goes back to find out why he hasnt start o my car. She comes back and tell me that the manager or the young man didnt know I was there for the car detail. I told her that is not true that I had spoken to them both and let them know I was there. I was told that is would take another four hour for my car to be done. I told her dont start to work on my car. if I allowed him to work on my car I would have been there until 2 oclock in that after noon. The manager keep walking by me and not once did he offer me an apology, incentive to come back, and no concern about my inconvenience. What I did get was a courtesy car wash. I will never go back to them again

From the friendly staff, to the excellent prices, even the late day hours that they are open, you just cant choose a better auto spa! This place is great. I usually wash my car myself, but right before a special occasion I will always bring my car to them and get a detailed wash. The amount of time they spend on your car is the closest thing you can get to your car being detailed in a short amount of time. Ive never been disappointed.

Through time, Ive cut them enough slack as to the continuous oversights. No more, I wont go back! Today I paid $29.99 for the Super Shine; it was far less than super. Car Wash? Yes; Vacuum? Partial - Didnt vacuum the crevices or even remove the floor mats to vacuum underneath. Window & Dashboard Cleaning? Yes and no - They wiped down some areas and never applied window cleaner, nothing but streaks, inside and out; Hand Dry? Incomplete - Dirt and grime on the running boards; Wipe Down Entire Inside of Car? Hell no! Car Freshener? Nope. Adios!

The first time I went to have my car seats shampooing, the young man told me, that they cant do it today because of the bad weather. I came back a second day then he told me that I needed to set up an appointment, so I did. Then came back the third time, they vacuumed the car, washed it then shampoo the car eats in a quick way. The job was done in 30 minutes and the seats were half shampoo done.I definitely wont go to SHINE auto Spa again.

I absolutely love this car wash because my car always comes out looking amazing. They take the time to talk with the customer and find out if they have any special needs pertaining to their car. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a scrape on my car and couldnt get it off and the guys in the detailing department helped me out and when they were it looked like my car never had a scratch at all. I find my self going their 3 to 4 times a month. They also have a great package for those customers who wash their car frequently that is very worth it.

I live right around the corner. Love the prices, but the workers rush your car and always forget which services you payed for!!!Poor communication, if I didnt check they always forget to put chrome tire treatment on my car. They also dont clean the inside of your door. You have to basically stand over them to make sure they clean properly.

Shine auto spa is one of the best car washes in the tri-state area. I myself have the monthly plan where you pay $25 a month and wash your call as many times as you want. The owner Kevin is also a great guy, if you have a problem he will do the best of his abilities to make it right. I would recommend this car wash to anyone.

This place used to be really good, but I’m not sure what happened as now the quality of service has plummeted. I took my car to get a “deluxe” service (tire shine, exterior wash and wax, vacuum, dash cleaning) and my car looks like the service was done a week ago instead of just today. - smudges all over windshield and mirrors, and spots still not clean on my car. - Not to mention the “vacuum” service looks I could have gotten a better job done with a household handheld vacuum.Tried to be a loyal customer, but they have officially lost me. Waste of time and money

Very nice people also nice Managers. Unfortunately every time my car is finished I drive away and notice my windows still have soap spatter on them..or they are cloudy. Also..i would suggest the owners start using microfiber towels and not cotton, this leaves swirls of scratches on the top coat.

They started out strong when they opened. Then they slowly dwindled down. Not everything gets cleaned. Half the automatic machines dont work. They should never had went to the automated system

If I had the option to select NO stars I would! I found out about the car wash through a groupon deal for the monthly Super Shine & Clean package. They vacuumed my inside and trunk very good and then things took a turn. I was told that the driver for the cars was out and that they would direct me as I drive myself through. After I got out I watched as the workers wiped down my car and was done within 3 minutes with my car still leaking water and was not fully cleaned with dried water marks on the windshield! I believe I received the basic wash service. And when I got home I realized they didnt offer to give me the free freshener ugh. A waste of time and money. Absolutely horrible! When my 30 day trial is up I will not renew!

I purchased a car detailing trough Groupon I waited two weeks for a appointment call the date before to confirm my appointment gave them my name and phone number I get there at 8:00AM for the girl to tell me that the detailing lady isn’t going to be in and that they don’t have any one else to do it.no call or anything very un apologetic and she tough That was ok I took off work for this.very unprofessional no customer service I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

This car wash is the best my whole family goes to this car wash is awesome.

What a waste of money, I choose the Super Shine & Clean Wash that was suppose to wash the car outside and wipe down the inside. First the vacuum gents, did not lift the mats to get the debris from underneath. I had to actually lift the mats and point in detail were to vacuum. They never touch the trunk which was included in this package, didnt know until I just read the list of service details. Next I watch the car wash itself and the brushes on the right side did not make contact with the car like it did on the left side, that was apparent when I looked at that side of car after it dried; you can still see the dirt residue. Then its checkout time, free air freshener is giving, now you would expect it to be the $3 tree versions, instead they gave three choices of fresheners that are the same size of a half a business card; that doesnt come with a string to hang it up with. Now to the finished car, I had to call the gentlemen who was taking care of the car 5 times, to clean the (side of the car, inside door jams, redo the glass...). When I got home, I notice more things that werent touch (they didnt left windshield wipers, to clean the windows thoroughly, the front grill was filthy, the tires were dirty). You get the picture .... This was a post snow week, so its really apparent what parts of the car was touched or not. These folks just dont care!! #notreturning

Probably need to buy the monthly plan to get a clean car... cuz dang! Water spots everywhere and they missed a huge dirt spot in the back. In Passaic there’s a car wash that charges 5 bucks with the wax and cleaned about the same as this 35.00 experience. Used to be a great experience but has gone down tremendously.

I got the $20 service (I forget what it’s called), but the undercarriage is supposed to be washed, rain X is supposed be applied, car is supposed to be vacuumed along with the mats. As my car was going through I didn’t see any jets squirting from underneath, nor did I see anything spray from the rain X section. After they did a terrible job cleaning the interior, they went on to the next car and I asked for the tire shine. The guy asked for my receipt. Now keep this in mind, even the most basic wash has tire shine. So no matter what wash you get tire shine is included. When here a while ago and thought it was good, now it looks like a front and service has gone down the drain. I won’t be returning. Also the mats were put back quite disheveled. Had to pull over to fix them.

The quality of this car wash has dropped off significantly since the new owner took over...this is no longer owned by Al and his Dad, which is too bad. Poorly run and below average wash even with a Groupon. Go elsewhere and save yourself the hassle.

I paid $30 for a special package with interior vacuuming but they didnt do a good job vaccuming inside of the car, no difference from the regular package they offer. If I had known this I wouldve just paid for a regular package half the price, they didnt even clean the rims. I feel robbed for the money I paid

Im very sorry to say that the basic cleaning that is advertised was NOT done. Im very distressed that I payed about $16 for a cleaning that was not clean at all. I dont like to give bad reviews but this was truly a waste of time and money. My car is simply vaccumed when the windows, dashboard, and all interior shouldve been wiped.

Do not go here, i have a bigger truck, their staff was rushed so they did not fully wipe down my truck so i grabbed a towel to do it myself and found that their machine broke the mirror mount cover on my passenger side. the owner said they would pay for it so i went to the dealer to get an invoice of the replacement mirror and installation cost. i decided to be nice and cut him a break on the installation cost but he got pissy about the cost and tried to pay only half using excuses such as a junkyard would be cheaper. i dont want a used one or a knock off one, if anyone broke your stuff you would expect a new factory replacement. in the end he gave me a check for it but it was 50 bucks less so i still had to pay the extra to order the factory replacement mirror.

Please BEWARE: Their AFTER your car wash drying rags are ALWAYS dirty with grease, tire shine or some other substance that Will Always leave a streaking and smearing residue All over your vehicle!*The Male employees smoke Marijuana/Weed often as they smell/reek of it in the mornings!We have brought these Very upsetting concerns to the attention of the girl who is usually at the register, but she is Phony! I have the $60 membership and to be honest i think Ill just downgrade to the $30 membership. Its not worth the extra cash a month . They do a horrible job at cleaning the interior of my car. Also Everytime i go i give them my ticket and then have to remind them that i have the full package and that tire shine is included in that even though it says that on the recipient. I tell them they dont have to clean my trunk which is also included in the package, and u would think that, that would b incentive for them to atleast try and dry my car down since the trunk is one less thing they have to do..... but they dont ! I ususally dont write reviews, and have just been giving them the benefit of the doubt, but the service as far as cleaning and getting what youre paying for just isnt worth it. !!

Waste of money truck came out dirty in the back and had to ask them to clean two spots after they were done. The rear window I did myself because the girls couldnt reach and they barely used enough tire shine to coat the tires. $20 wasted.

Ive been to a lot of car detailing centers in the past because of all the luxury cars that Ive owned and Im very picky with how things are done. Ever since Shine Auto has been opened, Ive never had to look for another detailer again. Time after time, they do the best job possible to take care of my vehicle and give it its best look possible. They make sure my car is cleaned inside out and treat it as if its their own. The quality and time put into my car is far above superb and Im glad Ive found my regular auto detailer with the best prices around!!! The quality of cleaning products used on my car is top notch and Ive never had to worry about the integrity of any part of my car. Thanks for always surpassing my expectations!!!

Only reason i keep going is because of cheap monthly car wash plan.....its ok car wash at best. they rush to wipe down cars and often miss spots. they give u a hard time if u call them back to wipe down.. I had to point out some obvious dirty spots that didnt get clean... they gave me a hard time about it.

On Friday, 9-1-17, Went to this place to have my car detailed. After paying 150.00. The owner told me what they do . He state all minor scratches will come out with the compound that they use when I picked up my car 6 hours later, not only were the scratches still there but the paint on the top door panels on both sides was stripped off and the car looked like it only went threw a car wash. I told the owner to come see it and he did with the person that did the detail. He first advised me that theres nothing he could do. The person that did the detail stated that he ripped the clear coat off the car.After hearing that, the owner stated that he would send me to his repair shop to repair. So I thought he was going to pay for it. He advised me that I had to pay for the damage that he did. Then when I stated I was going to do a police report to document the damage he became outraged and belligerent and then He stated for me too leave because it would get ugly. Even thou I was parked on the street. He didnt want to give me a receipt at first and then gave a receipt for what I paid. No detiailed receipt. The owner of this place is rude and doesnt have any customer service skills.I have everything that happened on Video. I am filing a civil case on this matter. All Law Enforcement officer should stay away from this place.

I am very disappointed with the service. Before they seemed to care about making customers happy but not anymore. I went to wash my car earlier today, my vehicle was not properly wash and to make things worse the gentlemen did not clean the inside well either. It was a waste of money and time. I doubt that I will be returning here. So dissapointed!

Ive been going to this car wash since he used to be hand carwash. The previous owner father and son used to care about your cars finish. However under new management and no longer a hand car wash. Most often the car comes out with a lot of soap still on the car. Which makes for spottie finish also the machine made a lot of fine scratches in the paint. Im looking for a better place. I have noticed the employees always seem to be angry specially the old dude drying the cars.

First time and probably my last time, I choose their The Works service but they didnt clean the inside of my car and it wasnt dry properly. I hope that this was just a bad day, nobody seems to care.

I spent $30 for the best wash... I have a new 2016 car so its not very dirty but, The Windows had spots all over. The mats were dripping wet when I got in the car and were not clipped in.The center console was not cleaned. There was finger prints on the navigation screen. The rims were dusty. Ive been here once before and told myself I wasnt going to come here again but I figured maybe they had an off day so I gave it another try...now Im definitely not going to come back. What a waste of money very disappointed.

I went here for the first time on a Friday afternoon... First time....so I jump out the car to ask what the pricing was from the first guy you meet and he is yelling do you want the inside and outside done... I said both how much ....he ignores me and walks away.... I stand there waiting for a slip or something telling me how much Im paying he gives me nothing and not only does he do a terrible job vacuuming my new Truck ...he steal the knobs off my radio control for the back seat..i walk up to my truck to get in and the lady who is supposed to be cleaning the inside is seating in the driver seat on her phone...this place is the worst..... I go inside to tell the owener and he is kind 😒enough to give me 2 dollar discount and make me pay 15 dollars for the worst car wash I ever got.... They will never ever get my businesses again... They have the worst people working there... Im still pissed about my knobs on my radio..... What a bunch of theives .....who does that.... Seriously ...😒

Loved the fact they have monthly. Which I loved. I jad my car detailed they did a nice jib. Then a few incidents happen. 1st they broke my button on my seat, I let it go, then I got scratches, let it go. Then my mirror was knocked off in the car wash. When I told the owner he told me my car was old, then told my husband I got nasty with him. I pursued him paying for my mirror which he did. After calling for a month. So I figured ok Ill go back. I resign and am told if anything happens to your car we are not responsible. That should have been a sign...I sign up and by the second wash my brand new mirror has a hugh scratch. Im done. My car may be a few years old but it is garage kept and pristine condition. I have no respect for the owner he is not a nice person.As far as the Devin and the staff that works there, they are a great bunch of people, that is the only thing I will miss.

Complete waste of money. According to their sinage, Full Service is supposed to include dash cleaning, interior windows cleaned, and tire shine. I recieved none of them, when I questioned it, I was told the tire shine was frozen and the rest was done. It clearely was not. Trying to support a business in my new town and never will again here. I highly reccomend going to Major League Auto Spa in Nutley (5min away on Franklin Ave), they are far more superior and you get what you pay for!

Awful. The monthly is an awful value because if you go often and actually try to get your moneys worth, the car wash is less than half assed. Ive had my car vacuumed 2-3 times in one week and no, it was not powerful enough to take out the bits of artificial grass. My car is not dirty by any means, and I just like keeping it clean. Shine does not help with that. Ive dried the car myself after the people who are supposed to dry it, and the clean towels are often damp. Ive had my car smell like smoke because the person taking my car from the end of the wash to where the employees dry it couldnt put his cigarette down for 2 seconds, antenna ripped off 2x, and lots of wet spots on my car. Id rather wash the car myself as I do now and I spend 10$ every 3 weeks to wash it with the TLC an investment such as a car deserves. Used to be really good, now that they have a big clientele, service has significantly dropped in quality. Even when there are no lines everything is half assed

I really wanted to like this place but their monthly car wash plan leaves you feeling ripped off. $25-30 a month for unlimited car washes sounds like a great deal until you show up and the place is never open. They close by 430 during the week and open around 8am during the week making it impossible for anyone who works full time to go during the week. No problem, go on the weekend, right? Wrong. This place is closed wayyyyy too often on the weekends. When I asked the owner about it, he became unnecessarily defensive, acted like a total jerk and defended being closed anytime the roads are wet from earlier rain or its foggy. He insisted that it doesnt make sense to be open if the roads are wet. If you own a business in the north east, the roads are gonna be wet more often than not. if precipitation at essentially any time closes your business, you need to disclose that before selling people on the monthly plan. To not do so is a joke. After seeing the inappropriate way the owner behaved when I tried to explain to him my concern about the businesses hours, I couldnt be happier that I terminated my membership and wont be giving another dime to this jerk.

I went to get an oil change and got a free car wash. After I left and went home I realized that everything including $$$ gift cards were stolen out of my console. I will never go here again!
