Dont bother. Find someone else. I was told today on the phone by their very apathetic sales rep theres a $57 fee to sign up, $73 quarterly, $50 to disconnect, and they cant come get my trash for at least 2+ weeks from now.She couldnt have been more monotone and sluggish in her speech, and completely unapologetic and unwilling to offer any alternative.
They refused to pick up my trash even though it is in a blue bag and it was crib side. The reason is the containers I use are my own and not there’s so the bags are not torn up looking for a better trash company that doesn’t care what they are in as long as they can pick up trash without a mess.
This is the 2nd week my trash has not been picked up on my Thursday pick I pay my bill on timeme I think you should pick my trash up on time not very good way to run a business not very happy I live in the country and put it out late Wednesday night so animals do not tear it open it has laid down at the end of my drive all week and is still there it b.s. maybe I need to take my business somewhere else
Price keeps going up and up with no explanation as to why. I feel they are gouging people because they can. 50.00 a month for general trash pickup is ridiculous for the average 1 can a week. l will be switching as soon as I find another company that is reasonable. Most people I talk to dont pay half of that.
In 2018 we agreed on a $50 service charge every three months with up to 9 bags @80lb max. (I would never abuse that or even come close).Since then my price has gone up over $15 and the max bags/ weight has gone down. Pickup days keep getting pushed back and changed. There are weeks where they dont even pick it up. (staffing issues probably, understandable but needs to be communicated)The change in price and inconsistency is forcing me to change services. Not to mention the customer support is very rude and unhelpful.
Our pick up day is on Monday...as of Wednesday-no pick up. Spoke to representative and was told “driver stated container was not at curb”. NOT TRUE!We always have our trash out on Sunday night. Because you never know what time they will pick up.Unfortunately, this happens at least once a month. There are several houses in a row and we seem to be the one missed??!!??After 15 years of service, our stop should be known. We now have trash all over the yard.She said they may pick up on the 27th...3 days from now. Radio out to a driver and tell them to get our trash!
Republic is the worst company to work for & they wonder why no one wants to work there. They do NOT care about covid & will write you up even though you provide a doctors note & test results. They do NOT respect anyone; especially, their employees. The HR lady will downgrade you so bad, that you leave feeling so worthless & like the world is a better place without you. You dont even make enough to cover the counseling needed to find yourself again. The mental abuse at this organization is absolutely unbelievable.
I switched from this company because of constant missed pick ups. They are charging me for the month after my service was cancelled. Customer service is awful. No help at all. Dont use this service.

Ive been on the phone waiting for over 3 hours today for a customer service agent to pick up. Can you guys just call me. I need service at my address. I couldnt get in touch at all on Friday. My trash is building up.
Republic Services is the worst company to work with. If I could give them a zero out of 5 stars I would. I cancelled my services at the end of March 2020 and have gotten the run around on my refund since then. Every time I call I get a different reason (one employee said my refund must have been stolen in the mail...come to find out it hadn’t even been processed yet) why I still have yet to receive it. Their staff is not on the same page. The last time I called I asked to speak to a manager and was told someone would call me back. I knew then that nothing was going to come of it, that was 3 weeks ago. It is now been 3 months since I cancelled my services with them and no refund. Tomorrow is the 6 weeks since my refund was “processed” so we will see if I get it or not. But I do know I WILL NOT recommend this company to anyone.

Going on three weeks Republic has not picked up my trash! I have called them multiple times to pick up and they say, You are on the schedule!! Dont worry! They NEVER come! What kind of company is this? Dont waste your money on this company.
Original pick up day was Wednesday and they often didn’t show up until Thursday. Then they switched my service date to Friday and now have not picked up my trash going on 2 weeks. Don’t waste your time or money.
They never pick the trash up at the same time, and sometimes dont pick up for weeks, and the personnel at their call answering service (in another state) are extremely rude and condescending. Im tired of cleaning up trash from the lawn after its torn up by the critters. There is no other trash svc in the area, short of paying for a dumpster (through a different company, their dumpsters are +800$) for a week at time. Which means you have to collect your trash for a significant amount of time for it to even be worth it. Ive started composting and recycling as much as possible to avoid having to deal with them at all.Although, I appreciate the response, I will not be replying via the contact info provided in your reply. My things were not picked up again this week, and I did not feel the need to leave them out overnight for the critters, nor did I put them back out to be left again today. I have made other arrangements and will most likely be cancelling my service. Thank you for the services that I had received up until this point, and I wish your business well. Thank you.Please note also that this has been an on going issue for months, and I did not make this decision hastily.
Missed pickups. Over billed twice in six months. Wrong billing address and charged me late fees for their mistakes. Spilled trash all over the yard. Couldn’t let me setup online payments. Disrespectful as a whole. I payed 150% of what they told me I would pay.
Usually my fiancé and my self are very understanding people but we moved about 2 and a half weeks ago and tried to start service they took our deposit and said a can will be dropped off. Awesome how easy was that? Well a week goes by and we still haven’t received a can so my fiancé called on Friday and they said on will be dropped off in 24-48 hours okay sweet. Well Monday rolls around and we get home from work still no can. So I called and they said one was dropped off and we called and said it went missing. How can a can go missing if we never received one? So then they say there were 3 different delivery attempts?! And they say one will be here tomorrow. well tomorrow comes no can... so finally we call and want to cancel our service and I want the deposit back we will see how that goes. But if it is this much of a problem just trying to start service? This company has to be the biggest joke.

Had republic for years. Never any issues until about 3 months ago. At least twice a month they dont take our trash. Changed my pick up day without telling me. Pick up day was yesterday..I called.. we will be there tomorrow she says.. still nothing. Husband is so mad from taking the trash back and forth. Animals getting trash all over the yard. No one at customer service seems to care. And they keep raising the prices.. to not take the trash???
So this company told us they would pick up our old hot tub if we put it out by the street. We already had planned on paying someone to remove it but when we learned this we decided to save some money. My husband took off work and had some friends come over to help break everything down except the tube it’s self and put to tub by the street. When they came to pick it up they just looked at it and drove off. We called that day and they told us that they rescheduled it for the next day and someone would call to speak with us. Well they never came to pick it up and no one called. So we called again. This time they told us it was scheduled for the following Tuesday. The Friday before someone came out and left a note stating that if we would like them to take the tub it will need to be cut into fourths. My husband called that day and they were not willing to help what so ever. My husband already took off work once to move it out to the street now he needs to take the time to cut it up..... the eye sore was sitting outside our house for a week and there is no way we are investing any more time towards this. Just a fair warning if your wanting this company to pickup anything bulk up be prepared for it not to happen. We spoke with four different people and waited five days before we received any information about having to cut the tub up. Now we are out time and money. We called and paid a different company to remove it.... In my opinion this is a poor company who does not care about the people receiving their services.
We live on a small drive with multiple customers of Republic. They have not picked up trash for 2 1/2 weeks and promise everyday to come. This is the 3rd missed pickup in 2 months. The call center is a joke. If you want your trash picked up, dont sign up with Republic.
If I could give them no stars I would. They do not pick up our trash - they call and reschedule and still dont pick up our trash. They come at inconsistent times. I do not recommend this company.
Been calling them everyday for a month they havent picked up our garabage since August. Everyday day I call get told be there tomorrow well tomorrow never comes and then asked for supervisor and got hung up on. Wouldnt recommend them. To anyone let alone the service address if for.my mother in law that is legal blind at 75 yrs old. Last person I talked to said well she cant see the trash any way so what the problem. And then they billed her 109.00 dollars for trash but wont pick it up
If you have any other trash service available to you, go with someone else. When we started service we were told we get a free trash can, with no associated cost other than the normal trash service cost. Sure enough, a nice $63 charge shows up on our first invoice for trash can delivery. Customer service told me that even though they understand the situation and we were essentially lied to, their policies are written in stone and there was nothing they could do. Stay far, far away until this company starts putting the customers first.
If I could give this company a -100 I wish I could. They are pretty much thieves! Just a disaster of customer service. Called three times after cancelled a dumpster (and never receiving it) to get money reimbursed. After 4th try I had to dispute this personally! I will never ever use this company again!
When I called, the representatives I spoke to (2 of them) were courteous and resolved my issue within 5 minutes. I did not give them a 5 as the pricing did not reflect the reduction in services I requested.
One star is an over rating. It should be 0 Stars. Beware of punitive fees and policies with their contract Service. You will be penalized 6-month service and a removal fee of their equipment if you cancel. Require written notification of terminating service which you will not know until its too late. I E your contract automatically renews. Plan on missing your scheduled pickups after each holiday. We are lucky if half of our pickup services are completed.
I would like to say my experience at this point has been different, but unfortunately... Theb last time anyone on my street had a pick up from Republic was 8/5. Today is 8/21 I have called at least 6 times to get this handled. My wife Misty has also called. My neighbors have called to also get runaround as well. To add insult to injury this morning at 10:45 a Republic truck drove down my street and didn’t pick up anyones trash!! I called again today only to be told it would be picked up tomorrow again. I pay for pick up in advance, now I’ve had no service for 2.5 weeks this is completely unacceptable!
Have called repeatedly for missed pickup, were sorry for the inconvenience, you are on the schedule for today.. never show up. Ive never seen so many people looking for a change in service provider at once like this.
Can not get in touch with anyone at the landfill. Tried to call the number on their website and it directed me to someone in Indianapolis. They could not give me any information on what type of payment they accepted when a person was taking something to the landfill. They didnt even know the name of the landfill outside of town. I finally got the phone number to the landfill, which is different than the number on their website, and all I received was a recording when I called. I left my phone number for them to call me back, and I have not heard anything back from them! This company is a JOKE!!!
Terrible in every way. They charge $5.95 for “administration fee” but then don’t send an invoice then bill you a late fee. Every invoice amount is different & you can’t get a straight answer on how much it should be. Trash pick ups have been missed for months. I’m cancelling my service as soon as I can get lined up with another company.
I spoke with Sandy Suggs in Customer Service about establishing new service and she was very helpful and patient. I didnt know what size container I wanted and she talked to me about my options without getting frustrated. Thanks Sandy!
I do NOT trust them with billing at all. They are all over the place giving different reasons for raising their prices. My bill used to be around $35 every 3 months because I was never late with my payments. I dont know if they changed hands but they started raising my bill by $10 per bill cycle. My bill went to $63 for not very long then it went up to $75 without them telling me. They are practicing unethical practices so stay clear of this company.
Zero star would be more like it. Our bill is paid. Not due till June. Our trash was outside Thursday night. Pick up on Friday didnt happen. Called them Friday afternoon. Said they would send someone as soon as possible. Tuesday trash still not picked up. Called they said they should be here by 7pm. Wed. Still have trash. Called, trash pick up was cancelled but no reason why. They say Thursdays it will be picked up. Dont do same day pick up. What? Was to be picked up 5 days a go.
Im upset my trash has been set out since Monday. I have called them everyday. I want my monthly money back or Im done with republic services. I say get uall sh%t together.
The WORST service Ive ever had... didnt pick up our trash for over 2 weeks, then when i canceled they failed to pick up the can... Ive spent so much time on the phone with customer service, and of course, itll be 4-6 weeks to be refunded for the prepaid service for the month... absolutely awful service! Not to mention, 2 customer services reps were completely rude and sarcastic when i called
They are the worst company. They over charge and add on fees all the time. Then to top it off they didn’t pick up anyone’s garbage on our whole road. I add to call them 4 times and wait for over 45 minutes for them to say “oh we’re a little behind” it’s been 16 days and they still haven’t showed up. I call again and they said they had 4 drivers quit on them. Then they called me and said we’ll be out on your next scheduled pickup. They still haven’t showed up. Animals drag it all over every night every morning we clean it up ! URG!!!
I’ve used these guys for a few years now but there service has gone down hill. They haven’t picked up my trash 2 weeks in a row called said they would pick it up but never do. There price has gradually gone up but service has gone down. Going to cancel my service today.
Republic trash services kept missing our trash day on Thursdays for 3 weeks in a row and always had to call in to schedule a miss pick up. Then did not come at the scheduled miss pick up and had to keep rescheduling. Horrible service and customer representatives did not apologize or issued a reimbursement. Canceled our services. Pick another trash service if you can.
Without notice, Republic Service no longer picks up yard bags with leaves and grass. In addition the customer service people are very rude.
I am continually frustrated by the Customer No-Service that we receive from this company!! After multiple phone calls over MANY months, I continue to NOT receive our bill. Yet I am penalized (late fees, interrupted service) for not paying. Cant pay a bill I dont receive. So Im sitting here smelling 6 bags of trash in my kitchen with 10 more bags out at the road that I was promised would be picked up today. If you have other options in your area, save yourself the trouble. Go with another company!!
I have not had trash pickup in 3 weeks and they tell me leave at curb someone will be there to get it mind you we have to go down and rebag it cause of animals getting in it but yet they want my money what a joke
Run a business in Logan county and they are always missing pick ups. If you can avoid using this company, you should! They have no after hours contact either. Very frustrating!
Great place to get ride of trash, but be ready to pay for it. You can also watch trash get covered with dirt!
Horrible horrible customer service. Representatives are rude and if you ask for a manager they say none work there. Perhaps that is why customer service is so bad, maybe they need to get some management on staff! They certainly DO NOT put the customer 1st.

Okay about a month ago I gave an amazing review to you guys . What happens next ? Trash pick up is late . Then last week you all decided not to even pick my trash up ?! Call and you guys said u were coming the next day, that was 2 days ago and my trash is heaping over the cans . I really hope to hell ya all come tomorrow . This is ridiculous.

Horrible customer service. I have waited on 2 different occasions on hold for over 45 minutes. With a invoice issue.They have failed to follow through with anything they have said, other than actual trash pick up.
