These guys are exorbitantly expensive. I broke my foot, and the ER gave me a Brace Center walking boot. Obviously I didnt have a choice in what equipment I got. Got the bill a month later to see that the Brace Center charged me $311 for a simple walking boot.

Everyone was truly kind and professional! The front office did a great job letting me know about insurance versus cash pay beforehand, and with sending out appointment reminders/calls. Plus, Jim, the orthotic fitter, was exceptionally detailed and thorough making sure I understood everything about the costs, the brace itself (including alternatives), and answering any question I had.

Cheap prices and straight teeth. All of the staff was friendly. Only a few more months to go before I take mine off. Ive had a good experience here.

I typically dont leave reviews, but I had to brag about this place. Everyone there was so nice. They did everything they needed to to make sure that I had a brace that fit my knee comfortably. My first brace that I got didnt fit correctly, so I went back two days later and they fixed it with no issues. The guy who fits the brace, was so nice and did everything great. Thanks!!

Needed to return once again, and Mitch helped me by heating my brace and pushing it out just a smidge.Hopefully his work will alleviate the swollen part of my ankle![ × - × - × ]Had to go back for a quick touch up as my previous Velcro strip had come off. Got fixed by Jim, and he had me out of there soon afterwards.Thumbs way up for the work they do! 👍

Ive used The Brace Center for years. Theyve always been friendly and concerned about my needs. The braces have been excellent and made walking much easier. Dorinda knows what the insurance companies require and files all of the necessary paperwork to keep them happy. Ive trusted Jim and Mitch with my brace and orthotic needs for many years and have never been disappointed.

I had toe surgery on both feet. The doctor used some inflatable brace on both my feet which I did not know about. I had hit my max out of pocket that year and was told there would be no cost for the surgery. The Brace center sent me a bill 5 months after surgery asking for $360.00 even though I had an EOB that said I owed zero and these things were not medically necessary. I called this place and the girl that answered the phone whose name begins with D said that by law they had to send the bill out three times. I said what law was that? Then she said it was there procedure. I said so you can see if some idiot pays for this? I told her it would be in her best interest to make this bill go away or I would come down there and explain how she was wrong and had nothing but a high school education. The next day I was notified the bill was gone. The Brace Center is associated with Dallas Orthopedic Associates so read you paperwork carefully before you go to surgery. Dallas Ortho (Uptown) has you sign this paperwork agreeing to this because they know this is a kickback scam. Update, they are still billing my insurance from 2016. This is 2019.

JUST REALLY irritated that theyre only open 8-5. HOW are working people supposed to get in? Not even open on a Saturday
