I lost my keys from my Chevy Silverado,I called this guys I told them I need a key for my truck they said you have to bring the truck because we have to program the key,I told them I will do my self I just need the key,I asked them how much is going to cost ? They said 120$ just for one key without programming!!:((.I called Chevy dealer they cut the key for me for 38$!!

This is the ONLY place to go if you need a locksmith. I’ve used these guys many times. It’s nice to have an owner that truly cares about his customers! Offering good old fashioned friendly service, great pricing and a locksmith that knows what he’s doing.

These folks are magicians. I have an old house, with old locks that never in my time worked really well. When they finally break, I take the locks to Bedford Lock and Key, and Michael and his colleagues fix them, make new parts, make new keys, and generally restore the locks to like-new condition. Their fees seem fair to me, and the work is done when they suggest it will be done. I ended up with doors that latch and lock. Perfect!

Very nice people, but they messed up the computer in my car programming a smart key. They did not take responsibility for this. I had to pay the dealer $500 to fix their damage. Would avoid bringing smart key vehicles there.

Purchased a new remote transponder key for my Toyota Camry. Had the key bought, cut and programmed while I waited - all for $115. I was in and out in 10 min with excellent service. Certainly saved a lot of money (about $75 -$100) by not going to the Toyota dealer.

I have lived in Town all my life never went to this place. Recently I was replacing an old lock and parts broke I could not find them any where. I went to these folks as a last resort embarrassed to ask for help. They were very knowledgeable and tried to fix my lock. However I had bought a substandard lock and they let me know it was. They proceeded to help me get a much better set up in less than a day. Also keyed it to my old key and even cut a new a spare key for me. I had them make two copies of a Toyota key. Its one with the integrated fob, which must be programed (and cut) for the car. The dealer charges an obscene price, so I decided to go with Bedford Lock and Key. They use blanks made from the same company that makes them for Toyota, and obviously will stand behind their work and product. I considered other more cost effective routes, but wasnt thrilled with the additional effort required on my part, and didnt want to run the risk of finding a solution using a cheap knock off. If the key malfunctions at the wrong time then youre really inconvenienced. Bedford Lock and Key did the whole thing in about 20 minutes. They were also easy to deal with.

They were very professional, showed up on time, replaced our lock that weve had two other locksmiths look at but unable to repair and they charged us a reasonable rate.

Bedford Lock and Key are our go-to resource for lock & egress issues in Bedford. Theyve provided prompt and honest service on multiple occasions, even flexible enought to support same-day appointments (for not just emergencies) sometimes. I reccomend giving them a call before undertaking door and access projects - even just for some insight thats lacking from most hardware and big-box retailers.

Yikes! All I wanted was a rough estimate for getting my locks re-keyed and the gentleman on the phone starts **yelling** into the phone at me that he cant give me a rough estimate because doesnt know how old my house is and if theyll need to reframe my doors.Thank you for your time and I will find someone else.$10.25 per place where a key goes, + $82 per hour of work (where they would insist fixing anything wrong with the way the door hangs), + $55 trip charge (from one town away)

Went into Bedford Lock and Key this week to have a key copied and the guy was extremely rude and terse with me. Apparently they don’t copy this type of key there but the way he communicated this was harsh and downright rude. I won’t ever go back or suggest their service to anyone else.
