I think fitness connection is the best gym in the area. It has a ton of equipment almost everything you can imagine. They even have a separate room just for women (although I never use it). I love that they have a lot of free weights and several platforms so you can get a good workout in, however they close too early. If you really like post workout amenities like massage and etc. and 24 hours gym go to planet fitness! But fitness connection is best if you want real weights and more machine options. Fitness connection…stay open later people get out of work late!!!!!

I canceled my membership and moved on. I came here for a gym after 24hour shut down for good. This gym just isnt a good replacement. They dont do 24 hours and the equipment is not optimal. Some areas like bench press and the free weights area are full for hours at a time.

I have called and waited on hold for over an hour to cancel my membership and was told it was canceled and still being charged the last 2 months!!! And they only open Monday through Friday 8-6 so it’s difficult to even get through to somebody while I’m at work those hours!!! I just want my membership canceled and my money to stop being taken because i don’t go there no more!!!

It is a Fitness Connection all the amenities. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Not crowded. Plenty of machines. Saw almost everyone cleaning their station when they were done! Excellent!

Needs to be open 24 hours. If Planet Fitness can manage this, why cant Fitness Connection 😤?The facilities are not as clean as they were pre-pandemic. The doors leave an impression. There are prints and debris all over the doors, upon entry and exit. I can smell the sweat on the lounge sofas as I walk by and toilets have fecal stains. Clean this place better.

The only problem I have with this location are the hours because it should be 24 hrs. Because some people would like to avoid large crowds during peak hrs during this pandemic. I would much rather workout at midnight or beyond then working out at 5 am to avoid crowds. Nevertheless, the staff is great and the equipment is awesome. Please change your hours to 7 days a week 24 hours.

Stair machines are pretty dirty- I bring my own Clorox wipes to avoid using the gross cleaner in the bottle/touching the bottle. Would still be nice if FC invested in the pull up pre wet wipes.The cables shouldn’t have the metal piece that’s impossible to remove. Each cable should have the clip to move around the interchangeable hand pieces. Also, if someone could WD-40 the cable machine adjustable pole, that would be great. It’s impossible to raise.Most of the employees are fabulous! The girls in the morning are great, so nice and helpful.Supplements use to be great in here. The DOT fit product is known to be very trashy so that’s a bummer. Great drink selection though.

So I requested a 5 day pass and someone call me to set up an initial kind of meet and greet. I told him my only availability was early at 5:30Am and he confirmed that would be fine. Come in the next morning and I was told I could only come try the gym from 8am to 8pm. Who has availability like that? And no. There is no way Im going to get a membership without making sure the environment is right for me.

Place is nice and always clean. Plenty of space and a wide variety of machines. Plenty of benches and squat racks. I used to attend the Irving location. This one is much better.

Fitness Connection is great! It has all the equipment I need and it is kept very clean. The workers are friendly and always clean up at the end of the night. Not like the LA fitness in fort worth that is dirty and never put there weights up.

This has been my favorite gym I’ve been to. I love the women’s section and the theater cardio room. It makes cardio so much easier to get through. Everyone is always so nice, anytime I don’t feel like going I’m glad I did as soon as I walk in. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I loved that they took a poll when the mask mandate was lifted and they went with majority rule. You get more here than for $10 than you do at other gyms for $30+.

I live in Arlington but I come all the way to Bedford to go to this gym.The gym is fairly newer and bigger than the Arlington location.But the staff are always friendly and wanting to help you in anyway they need to help you.The machines are always clean, the floor always looks great, the locker rooms are kept up nice and theres plenty of room to move about.I suggest this fitness connection location over the Arlington one.They also enforce wearing masks so bring your mask to not only protect others but also yourself.

I understand Fitness Connection Bedford doest plan on opening back up to 24hrs. Can I suggest that Fitness Connection Bedford open from 4:am - 11:00pm Mon - Thurs. that way those of us that have to work 12-14 hour days from 6:00am - 6:00/8:00pm can use the gym from 4am to 5am

Large space with lots of equipment. Was in town and they gave us a free pass to check things out. Equipment was new and well maintained along with sauna in locker rooms.

This gym just makes up the numbers on the mask poll to continue to force people to wear them. Hate this place. Sure would be nice if the customers werent treated like ignorant people and had their own choice. They say 70% voted to keep wearing masks. Well let the 70% keep wearing them and let the other 30% not wear them. If the masks work it shouldnt be a problem.

I would give zero star if there is any....but be aware of your credit card charges. You might see surprise charges in your credit card statement that they never mention at the time of registration. If you ever want to cancel your membership it is long process with this gym. my one advices just read all fine line in detail, if that worth your time and money than go to this gym or look for other gym. I am not happy with the way manager/owner deal with customer at this location.

Reason is people who arent part of a basketball league just regular people taking up both sides told me I cant shot around cause they want too use both of basketball rims I pay my membership too go shoot around too relive ny stress being told by other customers that I cant use basketball court was upsetting cause reason why I pay too go use the basketball court and work like telling someone they cant us the work equipment cause their using it

They have sooo much equipment. Its intimidating. Devin, one of the mgrs there helped navigate me through there. I signed up.

Decent gym. Layout a bit strange but has bball, heavy dumbbells and somewhat happy staff, which is different than most

Let me explain the charges. In case they decide not to. It’s a big $10 a months yeah ok. However I paid for 3 memberships, I paid $50 to sign up on May 10th. I was charged $10.83 for each membership on June 1st, then the annual membership that is not thoroughly explained, I was charged $53.04 for each membership on June 15th. So that’s over $240 in almost a month of having a membership. I asked about the cancelation and they said I’ll still be charged. The representative tried to make it like I was wrong for not reading the contract and it’s entirety. That’s not what was explained. But ok. Lesson learned. Just FYI to the next person.

Fitness Connection, why are you charging for minors to use the gym when most kids are still mostly home with no exercise? If they are coming with their parent or guardian you should not be charging! I love the facility but that’s a definite TURN OFF! Now I regret leaving Planet Fitness because my daughter could come on my black card without me having to pay extra. You guys should consider that during these times.

They dont limit the time you spend at the gym like 24hours Fitness.I just canceled my 5 year membership with 24 hours fitness, they keep charging me while the gym was closed due to the pandemic. I asked about a refund and they refused, saying they can only do credits. ......very sad 24hours fitness. Also 24hours fitness keep increasing my monthly payments without advising me.Honestly, anyone looking for a nice,clean gym. Within a decent budget.........Fitness connection is your deal.

Signed up recently, great equipment, but way too packed from 3pm-9pm. Most people have bad gym etiquette leaving their weights everywhere etc., and using multiple equipment at the same time. Will probably cancel.

FC is a very nice gym. The place is huge with tons of equipment. It is very clean with excellent ventilation and great cooling. The staff is crazy friendly, always willing and able to assist you will any questions or issues. Probably one of the nicest gyms Ive been in, especially considering the price of $10 a month!!! I would highly recommend.

Gym stays clean and they are serious about the COVID procedures. Price is good if you know what youre walking into. I think from any location the bad reviews are about the billing procedure and the cancellation.I do wish they would have better hours on Saturday and Sunday but I guess because of covid they had to cut back somewhere.

To preface everything below let me just say that if you are thinking of joining this gym I HIGHLY suggest you look up this company on the BBB website. It will highlight just how common my issues with this gym are. I understand if people arent willing to read all of this but PLEASE look up the reviews for this company (not the location) before joining.I struggled with this company all pandemic. Trying to get UBF and fitness connection on the same page is next to impossible. I’ve been on hold for over 4 hours now. I was initially just going to give new card info but after 4 hours I’m canceling both of my subscription. I was charge for months I shouldn’t have been charged and I’m tired of it. Still waiting on someone to answer the phone.AND THE STORY CONTINUES! So after no less than 4 attempts (Where I did all the work and couldnt even get a call back) Ive finally cut ties with this gym. I love how the phone number on this listing is wrong and you have to go on location to actually get the right number. I also LOVE when someone in a business screws up and thats some how much fault. My last dealing with this location was the gm telling me Meh...someone put your info in wrong so I couldnt get in touch with you. Well...when I left my phone number with your associate a week ago...why didnt you think to call me and ask some questions...why do I (yet again) have to chase you down to get you to do something. Why didnt your associate think to ask me some questions when they couldnt even spell William correctly....that is entirely on you, bud. Really hope the one extra month of fees you extorted out of me was worth it.

Sign up fee makes you think twice. Still a good value, lots of machines, clean, and staff is friendly. Only drawback is not open on Sundays and closes early on Saturday.

Would love to give more stars. You require gloves and masks. Thats great, however require everyone to wear them or not use the facility. You need more hours open. My work hours only allow me there once a week now. ladies area is full friends come in a take over the equipment. They trade off so no one else has excess until theyre finished. Main area. same story. Walk around and see whos wearing masks and gloves and who isnt. Im looking for a gym. more hours and days. yes the price is great, cant use the place. why pay. I mentioned to manager about going somewhere else and she basically told me the other place is dirty. never clean and FC locks the cleaning crew inside every night to clean all night long. OPEN up more. you say foot traffic doesnt warrant the man hours. ever stop and think. more hours more tarffic??

Great place, very clean and equipment is top notch. They do take temps and require full gloves, which is a huge plus during this pandemic. I would like to see more “mask patrolling” as there are always IDIOTS on the floor that don’t believe the government mandate applies to them.

Started going to this gym July 2019 after my gym closed down. It’s been a great experience. Rolando was the consultant that helped sign me and my family up for our memberships. He’s been one of the best teammates that’s always greeted us with a smile and said hello. Rolando, and others, help us out with whatever we need or have questions with. It’s a clean facility and the kids club does a great job with our kids. The regular members really like to keep the place looking clean and when needed the facility staff make rounds to make sure everything is look top notch. Great job for this location. I’ve been to a few other locations and this is one of my favorites to workout in.

The customer service is terrible. This is only my second visit and I am leaving because Maddie the manager wouldnt accept my government issued id to watch my kid. If the manager were to read or actually care to work with her clients, I provided a state of Texas group A acceptable form of identification according to the state of Texas dshs website. Super frustrating.. Good luck with them on your sign up at this location too. Zero dollar enrollment is how they get you in the door so they can proceed to charge you twice the advertised rate for forgoing the 0 dollar enrollment. Slimey sales tactics.. nice looking gym though.. Ill keep going for the facility not for the staff or customer service.

So... I really like FC. I dont like having to wear a mask but, it is what it is😷. I spend most my time is the women only area. I can really lose track of time in the theater💗. I recommend FC to my friends and family👍🏼👍🏼.

We are much happier here than 24 hour fitness! Tons of cardio and weight machines are available we always find what’s needed. They stepped up the cleaning over the last couple weeks as well. I’ll be even happier when they open on Sundays and open the dry sauna 😁.

After a club that I was a member at closed down (Texas Family Fitness) and sold their customers to Fitness Connection, I went to the club and met with Maddie and actually just wanted to cancel. She was very helpful and I was in and out in no time. I came back in the next day to check the place out just for the heck of it, and was impressed at the number of machines, free weight access and a dry sauna. The place was clean and decided to forgo cancelling and asked Maddie to not cancel my membership. Every time I go in now, I am greeted with a smile and unlike at Texas Family Fitness, not pushed to buy things I do not need.

I have gone to this gym since shortly after they opened. Havent had too many problems other than the paper towel dispensers always breaking. However, since COVID began, I suspended my account until things started to get back to normal and gloves were no longer necessary to be worn in the gym. Also, hours of operation are still not back to normal. Long story short, after calling early to continue my suspension, I was told to call after my suspension ended to re-suspend my account further. I did this and was charged my normal dues. I had to call their support center and wait about 30 mins to get the fee reversed, which they indicated that they would. I waited a few weeks, fee was never refunded. Called today and now theyre telling me the fee wont be refunded and I was to call prior to my suspension ending (which I originally did) to prevent future charges. Be cautious when signing up for this gym.

Equipment is better than irving location but the staff is rude and practically called me a lier on my first day back at their location.

Absolutely fantastic place! Amazing facilities, courteous staff, TONS of different equipment. Yes, the staff tries to upsell product but Ive never had any of them be pushy. Its a business.....making money is what they do. Nothing wrong with that. A simple No thank you always does the trick.As for all these angry 1star posters.......ignore them. The fees and membership costs are all there in black in white before you ever sign your name to anything. Not the gyms fault you guys are in too much of a rush to read a LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT. Come on......youre not buying a burger. Its a contract. Its on you to know what youre signing before you sign it. Took me a whopping 10 minutes to read their VERY transparent set of fees and dues.

Fantastic gym for the price. Tons of different variety of machines way more than LA fitness. The only downside I would have to say is the sauna doesn’t get too hot 🥵 . Moreover, their Prices don’t burn🔥 a hole through your pockets. So I can live with it.

Of all the gyms that Ive been to, this one is by far my favorite. Obviously weve all had to adjust to this temporary change in the way the things are at the moment. I wasnt surprised when FC and its staff went above and beyond as far as the new guidlines. Every morning I am greeted by the 2 most upbeat and friendly staff members. Zach and Jackie are always welcoming and energetic, even at 7 am. They are sure to put a smile on everyones face that walks through the door.

Joshua is absolutely amazing. He has been a great help with information about the gym, enrollment and just an overall stand up guy. We love this gym and are so excited it came to town. Our whole family goes here and we would recommend it to anyone.

Simply put, the management would rather lose a customer who goes there 6 times a week then simply make 1 piece of equipment OF ITS ONLY TYPE, blocked due to covid-19 restrictions. I understand the spacing policies in place but when you have at least 5-6 pieces of equipment for leg workouts and only 1 decline chest press machine, I would think they could make some compromise for customers that want to use that piece of equipment. I politely asked the staff and two managers to make the equipment available over the course of a week and the answer today was, WE CANT RE PURPOSE THE FLOOR BECAUSE YOU WANT THAT PIECE OF EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE. My answer was process my 30 day notice to end my membership which the manager happily did. This was suggested by the blonde manager by the way! Not a way to do business especially when many are struggling during this pandemic!! Im going to Fitness Nation around the corner from this location. Im sad because I really like this gym. The staff is great but the managers need to retain customers, not close their memberships!

Seems like a nice gym, I went in yesterday to sign up. The person helping me was super pushy. I told him up front I just wanted to see the gym and get prices and he was really rude. Went on and on about why I shouldnt need to go check out other gyms. The questions they ask you when you sign up are totally to up-sell you. So far Im not impressed with their business model at all.... But the gym and its equipment looked very nice. Wish the hours were better. I also think it is super shady that you cant quit unless you mail a certified letter in, and that once they get the letter youll still be charged an additional month? They need a new CEO

After a disappointing experience with 24 hour fitness I came to fitness connection and I was not let down. The gym has enough space for everyone and the prices are extremely reasonable. I had the pleasure of getting assistance from their beautiful worker Bijon Willis. She was extremely thorough and answered all my questions. Highly recommend this gym and if you do come make sure to get help from Bijon!

I started with Fitness Connection before they moved into the new, far larger location next door. Its everything Id hoped for in a gym and more, plus my trainer Ariel is so highly skilled at knowing what particular exercises would suit my level and goals. Very clean, bright gym with plenty of the latest equipment, free weights and programs for both men and women.

It is extremely difficult to cancel or update your account with this chain. Ive made 4 calls and been on hold for over 4 hours and still havent been able to talk to a human. The staff at the gym cant do anything but sign you up. This is a poorly managed company that has no respect for its clients time.

My husband took a tour and loved how fitness connection was compared to where he was at fitness nation at the time the enrollment fee that he was interested was out of our budget so he told the manager keep him updated on any promotions they had coming so I called a week later and Rolando let me know about the awesome promotion they had going and told me to come in and he would take care of me! Well I came up here to surprise my husband with the membership to the gym he was so determined to switch to and ended up leaving with me and him memberships!!! I am truly excited to be apart of this gym and start my journey to getting healthy! I can definitely say I know we will be taken care of here the staff is AMAZING! Huge, clean and has brand-new equipment. I came in around 6pm on a weekday, and did not have to fight for any free weights or machines. Theres enough equipment without waiting in line.Clean bathrooms with lockers. Does not have locks or towels, so bring them if you need to bring your bag to change or shower. For those wanting to swim laps, there is no swimming pool in the gym. They do have a womans gym section and daycare .Overall, I definitely recommend this gym.

Let me start by saying the facilities are great, and the people have been nothing but friendly.BUT...read the fine print, and DO NOT trust what the person who signed you up says to you. Read the whole agreement top to bottom before signing (which I usually do, but since I was in a hurry I stupidly confirmed what I understood verbally).I signed up with someone during their $0 enrollment special. Verbally confirmed with the employee that the $0 enrollment included the $10/mo fee. He confirmed the same, but said that I would be charged an annual fee of $26 in the fall. Okay, fine. Nothing unusual about that. Paid my first months dues in person, and out the door. August rolls around and my account is charge $22. Call in to ask, and they said its because I signed up for $0, I pay a $22/mo fee. I explained that that was not what I was told in person, but since the agreement I signed (again, I did not read it, I just signed my name on the pad when I was told to) said I agreed to $22 a month, my only option to switch to paying $10/mo is to pay the $129 difference in fees for the membership. Talked to management, who was unsympathetic, but did agree to coach their membership staff into making sure they understand what theyre actually offering people. Heres hoping they actually follow through with it.That being said, I got burned, so I will not be staying or recommending this place.
