Good rates and coverage, HORRIBLE service. No communication, 60% of inquiries are ignored, they tell you something will be done in 2 days (corrections to policy details) and it takes 2 weeks, and then still isnt done right.

I moved to a different state and they quoted me one price only to charge me hundreds of dollars more than agreed upon and push back my payment to the the day before rent is due rather than the 20th like I was told. This is the 2nd time they screwed me and Ive only been with them for 5 months.Update: We worked together and came up with a solution 2 says after I made this review. They brought my payment down to what it was supposed to be and gave me a loyalty discount. Im glad we were able to come to work it out.

This agency is about as good as it gets for my insurance needs. Love the convenience of their online billing and price and the ease in which the whole process was made simple and tailored to my situation. No hype or pressure either. And the customer service is top notch. For the few times Ive called, everyone was friendly and professional and handled any questions on the spot. My dissatisfaction has more to do with Allstate I suppose than the individual agent or reps in her office, but my experience is that this company will take every opportunity to raise your rates on either home or auto. Theyll initially find a way to give you a lower price, but you better be diligent when your policy is nearing expiration because they are guaranteed to raise your prices. You can negotiate back and forth but it becomes a hassle doing this every 6 months to a year. Mostly the reps in this agency have been helpful, but today when I cancelled my policies, the rep I spoke with said she was sorry to see me go, and sorry that I (the customer) didnt call her back after she left a message to try to help me with my pricing. In other words, she is sorry because I the customer didnt fulfill my responsibility in giving her a chance to negotiate as if I have such an obligation. That response from her was a bit disappointing to say the least and seals the deal for ever doing business with Allstate again.

Agents are all very polite, thorough, knowledgeable and respectful. No question I’ve ever asked was left unanswered. There was no“eye rolling”, sighs, or indication that my questions were dumb. They were all answered in a manner that made me feel “glad you asked that”. Great team!

Very consistent when you resign a new contract but it was difficult contacting anyone for other insurance services. My insurance went up and no one had a clue why. Seems a bit of lack of communication in this office is common. Watch your rates!

Customer support is lacking at Maria Golseths officeI have requested last Friday a couple of changes on my policy through the Allstate portal and received immediately an email that an insurance agent will contact me within 24 hours. Tuesday at noon I called in and was told that no request has come in through the email and that nothing can be done until I give them the details again (this was Jennifer). I promised to call back later with the VIN and details.Just a couple of hours later I got an email that my insurance rate is going up for some reason so I called in and talked to another person (Ricky) and was told the error is due to addition of the new car without the subtraction of the car it was supposed to replace. However I was told the two operations cannot be done in the same time so she will take care of one that day (subtraction of the old car) and will process the second one asap but should call on Thursday if I do not see it on my policy.Fast forward to Thursday, I checked my policy and I only have one car insured. So I am calling again and ask to to to Ricky but she is on another call so Heather takes my information and passes me along.Now this is starting to get funny (but not ha ha): I am already slightly irritated because the cost of the insurance has gone up all these years but seems that other carriers have better pricing and even though I have been with AllState for more than 7 year that I can remember (maybe even more), I do not ever recall any agent of their to EVER have contacted me to review my account and possibly offer me a better deal or service.So I voice my opinions and Ricky comes back to me to tell me that I shouldnt worry because (even though she does not like to tell customers this (sic!)) I am covered for 30 days when buying a car so there is no rush to get these things done...I proceed to voice my concerns about the timeline of this problem and the fact that I got all the emails from AllState but it seems they do not get any and I have to continuously follow up, but Ricky doesnt seem to be affected by this, she simply replies:We have a 10 million ledger so we gets lots of emailsIn other words, I really do not care about your account that much.Oh well, I get the message loud and clear Maria Golseth. If you are not interested in servicing my account, I will take my business somewhere else. It seems that none of your agents are really trained to deal with ordinary people like me so, why bother?UPDATE 05/01/2017:I called in to cancel my policies with this office and was told I will have to send a request in writing. Funny how they take your money right away over the phone but when you want to cancel you have to send a request in writing.I did email April while we were still on the phone.Nobody was interested why I am cancelling the policy or what went wrong so they can address it.And also, the message I left on Maria Golseths cellular was never returned.I would stay away from these people. They are only interested in taking your money.
