Setting up service was quick and easy, just used a service window which is great during a pandemic

Been very ill and been trying to make sure everything is paid in a timely fashion..overlooked the sewer bill by mistake and was cut off for 24.12..now this bill was just due the week before..not a carry over bill either...I can see if it’s 30 days past but only a few days? Then 25 to cut it back on..they really really got a good money racket going!

Slow service had to stand outside in the cold

Theyre closed and to get the sewer service into my name I have to send a pic of my DL then theyll call me and send an application.

A monopoly company that likes to charge whatever they want but they are the only ones around the area so what can you do. They used to be a good company until new owner came in. Just a money hungry company now that doesnt care about its customers....SAD!

My husband and I have lived in Beckley, at the same address for the past 16 years and so long as we have made our payments, bar a time or two of financial difficulty, we have had no issues with the Beckley Sanitary Board. Suddenly, we continue to get letters from the board because of one thing or another, tiny items that have nothing to do with whether were paying or not (which we are by the way). The latest letter was explaining to us that our account number was printed by the bank incorrectly, even though we had our account number also in the memo line. Over the past three years, I have been extremely busy taking care of my dying father and then ill mother who was recovering from major surgery. Our household is a one income household and we only have one car so it would be illogical to expect me to drive to the office physically instead of paying for it through my bank online the way I pay all my bills. I can only speculate as to the reasoning that the City of Beckley has chosen to nitpick such inconsequential things in order to make the lives of its citizenry more complicated, but I do not approve and am currently, because of such things, looking for a way to move out of the city limits so I might live off well water so I no longer have to deal with the ridiculous business and problems that the City of Beckley has decided to burden us all with.

No Matter if its only $20 ya owe, Mark will still do His Job of Cutting your water OFF & its gonna cost ya an Xtra $25 to get it back on. But... These Folks are sweet as can be & Mark mite seem Grouchy-Mean... Naaahhh hes a Sweetheart Too! So... Ya best pay that dang Sewer Bill B4 Cut-Off cuz this is one Utility Company that doesnt pussyfoot around. They are just doing their jobs. Awesome Employees tho!!
