I walked past probably 10-15 of the same truck to the back lot that was about 2-3 blocks away in the rain, to find my truck in the middle of a line of truck parker nose to tail. As in, 4 trucks would have been needed to get mine out.I walk back that long distance, in the rain, and tell the agent. They were clearly not surprised, nor sympathetic or apologetic. They asked if I knew the truck number of the truck at the front of the line, which why would I?When then talk about the reservation, which is changed to remove the appliance dolly I did not think I had even added, and the truck was changed. I was then walked outside and given the furniture dolly and furniture pads to then walk then 2-3 blocks back to the truck, instead of say telling me to bring the truck up to get them.I get to the new truck, and none of the photos/mileage/gas tank match, because the system still thinks I am in the prior assigned truck. BTW, your app is horrible.I then have to drive back to the office to get them to switch the system so I can finish the check-out process, again, no apology.

Only getting one star because 0 is not an option. I’ve moved 10+ times in my life. Across the country multiple times. Always had good experiences with U-Haul. After this I won’t use them again. Waited over an hour to pick up my truck. When I finally got it it was almost empty on fuel. Every employee I encountered was rude. I’m not one to leave reviews but when I was returning the truck the gentleman working the lot cursed me when I tried to inform him that the ramp on the truck was not functioning. I wasn’t complaining or trying to get a discount, I worked around the ramp not working. I just didn’t want the next person renting it to be stuck with a busted ramp. But I’m willing to bet they will be. If you can avoid this U-Haul dealer I would.

Recently moved here, and had to turn in my auto trailer and 15 truck. I was greeted by Jose, who was both friendly and capable. The auto trailer was unhitched and return complete in a matter of minutes. He also had a few tips for fun things to do in the area once I was settled.It was really grateful to have such a warm welcome by Jose after such a stressful 2 days driving to move here.

Bad service. There was a van blocking the Equipment Return Lane, sat behind it for 10 minutes with 4 cars behind me blocking the entrance to the parking lot because we were all waiting. Finally went around the van when I realized the employees abandoned it there with no one in it. The girl came out and got mad that I was in the wrong lane to return it. Parked it in the correct lane shortly thereafter, but was charged a fraudulent $25 Cleaning Fee when we only went 9 miles, and moved a few boxes from our old storage unit. Avoid this place.

I had a terrible experience with them and they caused I lost so much money. Don’t trust them and have a second plan due to I trust them but they are so irresponsible. Imagine 8 days ago I paid money and they told me by next week come to install hitch system and I trust them and also rent a cargo. Based on that I did my schedule for my journey and book some hotels on my way to my final destination and break my lease and packed all my furniture. But suddenly in last minute they will let me know that they don’t have hitch system and I have to wait for couple days and destroy all of my plans. I call to customer service and they didn’t help me and finally after 8 hours that I was waste my time in the line and pass me to different representatives their answer was so rude and told me this is not their problem and leave me without any support. Very easily they ignore their fault.

They claimed to have called me BUT no one answers my calls. Trust me I would have answered if someone called.

Sometimes I get to rent stuff, most times the staff makes up some tiny gotcha to invalidate my reservation. Getting pretty tired of it.Two or three times Ive tried to help my father with a reservation. It always turns into waste of time because on the day of pickup they find a way to send him packing. This is not some shady individual; he literally drives a semi for a living so I think he can handle a little box truck.

I routinely use Uhaul, minimum three times per month. I dread this location. Anyother locatoon ia great but when I have to come here everytime stafd have bad attitudes, poor work ethic and poor service. These are independently owned and this one doesnt come close to franchise standards.

Tried to get a hitch installed, called me the day before the scheduled install (I scheduled almost 3 weeks prior) saying they didnt get the part and it should be on the next truck. Three weeks go by, complete silence, almost impossible to reach, gets routed to some corporate site which said they contact them and get a status, 1 week still no reply. Finally got a human at Beaverton and they had no clue as to the status so I canceled it and went elsewhere.

Possibly the worst customer experience ever. I bought a hitch adapter yesterday and went to fit it to my car today, it did not fit. I brought the hitch adapter back and was told I could not return it because it was used. Yes, used for 10 seconds. Unbelievable, and Uhaul lost a customer for life.

Very shady, falsely advertised a daily rate of $19 for their cargo van then charged me $89 per day and had the nerve to slap on additional fees for cleaning when they sold me a dirty truck to begin with!The $19 dollar a day price is printed in huge font all over the damn van too.Such a scam, my bill was incredibly high, never using their service again!

I dont appreciate your staff yelling at me. Other drivers not leaing keys in the proper place is neither my problem or fault. Its unacceptable in every way.None of the staff was pleasent to work with.The fuel guage was low by 1/8th of a tank(~5 gal).The lot is packed and poorly organized. The curbs are broken up and in dis-repair. Traffic was blocked by unattened trucks. Parking was insufficent and inaccessable.Trucks turn around using adjecent businesses parking lots because no proper method exists.By far the worst facility Ive every used.

Honorable manager. Corrected a triple-bill mileage mistake on their part. A lesser person might have kept the money and gotten away with it. In the future, I will always be taking my own pictures of the odometer as a precaution.

I dropped off a trailer here. I had to lock the chains on the trailer because the trailer hitch does not have a locking mechanism. It took me a second to remove the padlocks from the chains. Both employees that came out were very rude and condescending. I dont think they have any idea how to treat a customer.

What can I say. Moving is stressful, and Ive had bad experiences with uhaul in the past. I went into this reservation with a bad attitude, and due to a miscommunication ended up leaving the uhaul later than I wanted. I had to change my reservation multiple times while I had the uhaul, and getting through on the 800 number left me even more frustrated. 20+ minute waits to be transferred to someone else with another 20+ minute wait. But the manager Antonio and the rest of the local staff whenever they were able to talk to me, worked with me. Bent over backwards to accommodate my sticky situation. As a result I was able to save money and get everything I needed done. I feel really bad with how frustrated I got. Its a really busy location. The lines nationally, regionally and locally are always over burdened. But the individuals are working very hard and understand the frustrations of something like this. Will 💯 use them again. Great staff even when youre not being super kind

Having paid 2.49 a gallon for propane many times recently stopped in to fill the tank, they do not post their price at the filling station, and when it was filled the guy said the price had changed to 3.89 a gallon! Every other propane filling station in the area is 2.99. What a bunch of crooks thats my last dealing with this business.

Guy at truck return was very rude... After receiving my receipt I noticed that they charged me for 2 days instead of 1 when I picked it up at 8am and returned it by 4 on the same day... When I called them out for it they blamed their computer system. I wonder how many people they have overcharged who didnt notice. Didnt seem to be much accountability or care for their customers.

--DO NOT RECOMMEND-- I almost never write a review unless required but I feel the need to warn others about the Uhaul location off of TV Hway (Aloha, Beaverton). It took me almost an hour just to book a van from that location and although the rep had a professional manner, he did not tell me anything about checking in when returning the vehicle except for parking the van back in the U-shaped drive through when returning, dropping off the key into the box right outside his office, and not parking my car in the parking lot but on the street or else it would be towed. My kids were screaming at home both when I rented the van and when I returned it so mind you, I did not have the right mindset to re-read the contract and looked for the part where it said something about the $20 fee if I failed to check in online after retuning the van and key. To this day I dont even know where in the contract stated that. I checked my email the next day just to receive a receipt from Uhaul with a bunch of extra charges that made my original bill almost double! I was also charged for failing to fuel the tank up to where it was supposed to be. The rep said to return it to about the 7/8 line and I made a note of that on my phone. To be extra careful, I did take a picture of where it was originally for proof right before dispatching because it was NOT at 7/8. But that doesnt matter. I still made sure to filled it up at least 7/8 when returning the vehicle. I remember feeling like a dummy for filling it up MORE than what they gave me but I was like Oh well, thats ok!, but no, the rep charged me 1.5 gallon more because it was somehow below expected (which is absolutely not true!). I called them and they said theyd get back to me right away. No call. I emailed them at the customer email provided. Nothing! Youd think a big company like Uhaul would treat their customers better. Bring your business somewhere else unless youd want to be charged for outrageous charges and have your hard earned money thrown out the window!

Came to have a hitch assembly thrown on my car. I SAVED 300 FROM HAVING SUBARU DO IT AND FOT A BETTER HITCH. Very nice, professional the waiting room is spacious, has childrens toys, a tv and a comfy couch. I can also peak out a window and see them working on my car.

The employees outdoors that wander the lot and receive equipment returns needs serious customer relations skills improvement/training. They are often the first and last contact a customer may have with the business. With that in mind and the attitude and service or lack thereof its an extremely poor representation on the business. I wonder if these employees have any understanding at all that its the customer that keeps them employed? If I owned this business they would receive human relation skills and customer service training. If customers werent satisfied with the interactions from that point forward theyd be fired! Be warned, rude and obnoxious lot personnel at this location.

Costs are high, staff is & owner do not care about your customer problems. Access through the facility is crowded with parked rental trucks that block access and make it difficult to drive through and if you have any problems then good luck. They even went as far as making me pay a fee when i returned a truck that another location promised would be waved. They didn’t seem to care... made me pay it anyway....

Staff is super nice and friendly. I just dont like the entrance/exit to the place. You have to either drive through the truck drop off or enter through the exit, and I feep awkward either way. Otherwise I have no complaints, and the facility is very well taken care of.

Jeffery was a trooper. The fact that he struggled dealing with their computer system being down for the 2 HOURS I was waiting, with a smile and friendly demeanor the whole time, was fantastic. Now the tall whiny kid that loudly complained and borderline threw a tantrum on the floor because the store manager wasnt coming up to help them... somebody needs to teach that kid customer service and professionalism under pressure. In the first hour and a half that I waited, there was no sign of the manager to come help his employees as the line started to grow out the door. Then when he did show up, and he started clearing out everyone after me, yet again the system crashed on attempt 4 with poor Jeff, so he THEN came to help the one customer who had been waiting to be helped the longest (me.) After he told me we had to fill out everything again, when I asked angrily, are you kidding me, Ive been here for 2 hours?! He then got defensive and said everyone had been. No sir, they hadnt. When I came in, there was one person in the store, not 15. You should have apologized for the wait instead of giving me excuses like I didnt know what was going on. I heard every bit of your walkie talkie conversation as you procrastinated to come up there and your employees begged you to help them. It starts at the top. U-Haul... more like U-Wait.

As I was completing my online return of the vehicle I was kicked out before being able to finish and was told they would take care of the billing, which I do not trust. Only go to this place in desperation and only use the online pickup/return.

I am in complete shock of the service that I received at the Beaverton U-Haul. I initially made a reservation to pick up and drop off the truck at the Sherwood U-Haul. I called the day before to set up my reservation and the call center rep accidentally set it for Beaverton. I went into the Beaverton U-Haul and was helped by a young man named Hector. I started to tell Hector what was wrong and he said that he would need to get his assistant manager to help me. Jacob Johnson AKA Jake is the assistant manager at this location. When he came to help me he had an immediate high level of agitation with me. His tone of voice and demeanor made me feel very uncomfortable. I was just trying to get my truck and I was expressing my frustration and he told me you can either pay me and get the truck or you can leave here without a truck.  Im not sure why he took it so personal, I was just expressing frustration. He started to get more agitated and almost aggressive towards me. I called him out on his behavior and he told me to leave his store. Desperate to get the truck that I needed to handle an emergency I coward to him and told him I was sorry and needed to get a truck. He asked me if I was going to leave my car parked there while I was using the truck and I said yes. He told me that I could go and park in the parking lot of the neighboring business called Precision Body & Paint of Beaverton. All of the parking spots there are clearly labeled that cars will be towed unless they are customers of Precision Body and Paint. Jake told me that they probably wont tow me but he cant guarantee it. I asked him if I could get that in writing and his response was nope.  His behavior kept getting more and more rude and extremely aggressive. Eventually, he handed me my contract and the keys to the truck. As I was getting ready to leave I took a picture of him just in case he would try to pull some funny business on me. As a single woman I can never be too sure of how to handle an aggressive man. He told me that I had to delete the picture and I started to walk away. He said he was going to call the cops and I continued to walk away and then he got on the phone with 911.  Im not sure what came about with the cops because they never came.  I got in the truck and drove it off the lot. Luckily I had somebody else with me who could drive my car off the lot. Upon returning the truck a few hours later we were greeted with the same harsh behavior. We asked for a receipt and Jake threw it on the counter and walked away. I have never been treated so rude before. BEWARE!!!

I understand that truck rentals are always challenging. Long waits, long checkout processes, and sometimes questionable equipment. That being said, my recent experience with Uhaul was great, do to my sales rep Luis. He was really nice and accommodating, and tried to make the best of a difficult Saturday morning rush. Though it took me nearly an hour to wait through the line and checkout (despite having a reservation), Luis was a pleasure to work with.

Your staff is completely unprofessional and rude. You charged and re authorized our card 3 different times. Twice without consent or authorization. When asking the manager why he could not explain and had an attitude towards me and my pregnant girlfriend. It has been 5 days and the 3rd authorization still hasn’t fallen off. We did not consent to the charge of $123.00. We were not told our card would be re authorized 3 times. You have now over drafted our account. Treated us with disrespect and gave us zero reason as to why you authorized my card 3 different times. The amount you charged us does not coincide with the mileage we drove or the amount of time we had the truck. I am still waiting on a refund of $123.00. We will be reporting it as fraudulent to our bank. I will never take my business to this location or manager again.

I will highly recommend this Uhaul!! Jacob made my move easier and went above and beyond what any employee ever has to do!! We had some issues with my backup lights not linking up to my truck. He got under the tailgate found the wires to properly link it up. Ive never seen such customer service!! Awesome staff!!

I rented a truck here and was charged twice on my card - once for the estimated cost and once for the real cost base on the mileage. No harm, no foul - mistakes happen. When I showed up to get the money back on my card, I was told a manager had to approve my refund and it would take a week. A week later, no refund - so I finally contacted my bank. The bank contacted the location and the location provided them with a FAKE RECEIPT listing I had driven this U-Haul 89 miles. (I was hauling a couch from Aloha to Beaverton! My total trip was less than 30 miles.) This not only affected me financially as the charge remained on my account, it also affected my credit. Do NOT rent from this location.

We just completed a one way move & had to return our truck to this location as uhaul needed the truck here. Upon drop off our extra miles were waived & we received excellent customer service. This is a super center location with extended morning hours. Weve rented a lot of trucks over the years & this was our best experience. Safe for a night time drop. Well lit parking lot & easy in/out.

Sigh... Im a very frequent customer. Its safe to say I probably cover their utilities per month with how much we rent from them. Bob is great, and I respect him as a person, as well as Brock.Today crossed the line. I was charged $70 for fuel... even though we had filled the gas back to the level it needed to be. Looking back on my contract it looks like Matt had made the charge for the fuel. He was also going to charge me for blankets that were never put into the truck (I got a call from Matt saying he was going to put a hold on my card for the blankets) although we had requested blankets be put in the truck that morning, none were, and my crew was left with zero blankets throughout the day.Sorry boys, lost a huge client. Wont be back.

3 workers inside and 2 of them were helping customers. Wasn’t greeted or anything. Took them 20 min to even help me. The guy wanted to talk about anything except getting me on my way. Finally told me to go pull in front of the trailers and I’d be helped. After another 20 mins I was able to find someone who did’t know anything about the trailer I rented and decided to go help someone else instead of hooking up the trailer for me. Then someone else pulled up and I was asked to move my car. 2 stars only because Matthew was nice and made it so easy to cancel my rental.

(1) Waited 15 minutes after bringin the truck back and there werent even any other customers being helped.(2) Our uhauls ramp was broken and was really hard to put back in.(3) They gave me the truck with 1/4 tank, and guess what? I didn’t use any of their services, BUT! My car did run out of gas and I stopped in their parking lot. The gentlemen working were super helpful. One of them even gave me a gallon of gas to help get me on my way. Such an inconvenience. They only make things harder for you not easier, which makes moving that much more stressful with the strict pick-up and drop off times. Not flexible or empathetic with changes, even if theyre small. Also if youre going to have someone explain their situation right when you answer, but then ask for their information first to get started, you might as well ask for their information in the first place instead of after theyve explained their situation. Poor and inefficient phone service. Mark my words this is unfortunately my first AND last uhaul rental.

Rented an Auto Transport for a local car show. Matthew, one of the employees at this location went above and beyond in setting me up with the correct hitch and ball combo. A friend had loaned me a set but it was the incorrect size and way under the weight capacity. This had to be one of the warmest (95 degrees+), busiest days of their week, but he made sure my setup was properly installed. My mistake for having the incorrect setup, but props to him for setting me up and avoiding any incidents on my way to my event.

The two gentlemen who helped me to get my trailer squared away did a fantastic job! They did some trouble shooting to figure out why my brake light wasnt working, fixed it quickly and also found another problem with my tow vehicle while I was there and troubleshot and fixed that problem as well.I genuinely got the feeling that these men cared about my safety and wanted to help me as best as they could.Also, they educated me on tongue weight, tow capacity, towing, and improvised a plug for my tongue jack(I lost the last one)You guys rock! Worst uhaul place in my life. So disgusting. The people there are extremely unfriendly. The return process is much more complicated than any other uhaul place I have been to. I agree Uhaul can be annoying with long waits and no parking spaces for customers. I have not been to this specific location before and yes there are NOT enough parking spaces, I arrived 5 minutes after opening and took the last of 6 parking spaces. Why cant they accommodate us a little better! But the staff was wonderful, the line moved quickly, and I think this was my most positive Uhaul experience ever.

Picked up a trailer and had the pleasure of working with Jeffrey. He was friendly and helpful throughout the entire transaction, and offered great safety advice. When I went outside to hook up the trailer, the right side blinker wasnt working. A couple people there looked at it, and determined it was a problem with my truck. I thought I was about to throw a huge monkey wrench in my day having to go to an auto parts store and figuring out my problem. Jeffrey came from inside and saved the day. Found a bad fuse, quickly replaced it with a lesser needed fuse from my box, and I was on my way. That extra effort saved me from having to call the 3 family members waiting to help me load, and telling them to figure out what to do for the next couple hours.

This Uhaul location has proven in thing certain over the years; you will never not have long wait times. After waiting about 20 minutes (in hopes of getting a storage unit) we got to the counter where a very rude, very abrupt, Ector told us he could ring up our boxes but we’d have to wait even longer for a unit because he didn’t know how to do that. I explained we’d already waited for a long time and he interrupted and said, well, I can’t help you but Jeff can. He yells out to Jeff and says “this lady wants a storage unit.” Jeff yells back and asks “do we even have any?” I interjected and said that the tv screen on the wall said they did and Jeff let me know that screen is not in line with their inventory and at best only shows “maybe available’s.” Not one person knew if there were any units available. Ector continued to be short and unapologetic for the terrible experience he and his colleagues were able to provide. They are unorganized, rude and have no clue what is really going on within their operations/storage units. We left and went to Extra Space Storage where were treated like valued customers, immediately presented with available inventory and left with a storage space in under 30 minutes. I recommend skipping the frustration and poor treatment at Uhaul and going straight to Extra Storage Space!

I have utilized the services of this UHaul store a couple times and have disliked each experience. Twice, the vehicle I wanted to rent was not available despite having a reservation made at least a month in advance. I also had utilized them for a hitch install that was acceptable and I would only moderately recommend. I encountered less than acceptable customer service on all three visits. Three strikes your out; I will not return if I can avoid it.

All I wanted was to rent some plastic boxes so I can move eco-consciously. Website said 12 boxes were available at this location, so I go there only to find out that they dont have ANY boxes because the other people have not yet returned them. They tell me there is NOTHING they can do for me to make the situation better and suggest I drive all the way down to TIGARD for these plastic boxes. I drive down to Tigard, only to find out 1) they dont have number of boxes I wanted and 2) when I return them, I have to return them to Tigard. 10/10 dissatisfied and upset. Thumbs down for customer service and holding users accountable.

U-haul changed our reservation to the other side of town 20 min before pick up; after returning our rental 3 days early we received a call asking where the rental was and what our late fee would cost even though we already returned days before. U-haul is full of unprofessional and unorganized employees and the corporate structure is set up to SCAM you ! please be careful and check your email they will take advantage of you !

Extremely poor customer service. We booked a tow dolly to tow a car behind a truck rented from budget. We made it clear that it is a budget truck and the customer service said it is fine. However the uhaul location rep said he will not attach it to a competitors truck. They made us drive all the way and then he says that the customer service doesnt know this because they are sitting in an AC office and not in the field.

I was late delivering my last big truck and they didnt give me a hard time. In fact the manager made the experience even better by correcting a mistake with the milage calculation (it was impossible that I had traveled that far). More than fair. Big hub center with lots of trucks opens early and closes late. Thank you!😃

Charged us $125 for a scratch on a trailer we rented that was already there upon picking up the trailer. Terrible service and really disappointing after renting from this location regularly over the last 10 years.

My experience with UHaul storage and rental in Beaverton OR was beyond belief!!! I have never had to rent a storage unit before and I can only hope that if I ever do again it is in Beaverton. The staff is phenomenal!! Customer service takes on a whole new meaning when dealing with everyone at that location.Long story short---we moved 3000 sq ft of belongings from Boise ID to a 1000 sq ft condo in Beaverton. Most of it went to the storage unit and we were treated like the most important customers they have. I had a great deal of anxiety when making the move and Beaverton UHaul eliminated ALL of it.We always had access, the staff made sure all of our concerns were met, the truck we rented to move out was clean and nice and ready right on time!I could write a book about how great everything went for the last year with this establishment!KUDOS!!!!!!

Ive always had a good experience here. Like all rentals, you end up paying more fees than you want, but theyve been very helpful, and their prices for towing accessories seem very reasonable. Getting there early on a Sat morning probably helped, before they get annoyed by impatient customers.

Other people say they have had bad experiences in the past, but mine could not have gone smoother. The guy was awesome and even took money off my bill when I decided to return it to them, rather than in Portland like I planned.Tip: Reserve your truck online in advance for best service. Their phones and front counter are always busy.

Normal u-haul. Most of them are the same. Trust me. I rent a lot. Employees get min wage and dont have any reason to be exited when they see you...:( Make sure you reserve what you need online and call to check they indeed do have it 30 min before you pick it up. Take it or leave it. When I need a trailer I go and get it. I dont have a choice. Do you?

Made a reservation 5 days in advance to make sure I was able to get the trailer I needed at the location near me, When I arrived I was told that I had made the reservation at another U-Haul location not at Beaverton but at Tualitan several miles away. When I pulled up my confirmation email that listed Beaverton as pick up location the story changed....”oh it says here that U-Haul called at 2:30pm today at the number you have on the reservation (my cell) and talked with you about the change” it was 4:30pm, so....the nice thing about a smart phone is that it keeps a record of all calls even those you don’t answer, so after I showed that I had not received any calls from U-Haul today they then told me that the trailer I was going to pick up had a fender bender earlier and that is why they do not have a trailer for me today. So the ONLY option offered was to drive across town during rush hour traffic to pick up and turn around and drive clear back across town to where I needed it to begin with! Also found out that I ALSO have to return it to the same location across town or I would pay 3X the rental cost for penalty of not returning to same location I rented it from. NOT HAPPY at all with U-Haul’s customer service and flat out lying and making up excuses! Not a premium Brand customer experience, Home Depot will get my next rental business. Happy to talk again with U-Haul representative, unfortunately the Beaverton staff did not offer any incentive or adjustment for their mistake.

Slow outdated computer systems and lack of rental equipment made for a frustrating and long wait. Eventually went to uhaul on TV Hwy and they were fast, pulled the vehicle up and checked me out quickly! Ill go to the uhaul down the street for any future rentals.

These guys are great at doing hitch installing. They know their stuff and can deal with more atypical stuff such as putting a hitch and wiring harness on a VW Golf. Knowledgeable and friendly.
