EDIT: Ive reduced my rating to 2 stars due to their coercive retention policies. The service itself is great, but they dont want to let you leave if you need to take some months off. Be prepared to be billed an extra month, have to talk to a manager, and fill out a bunch of forms...just to cancel.Original review: Awesome staff and very streamlined onboarding. They got me up to speed quickly and never made me feel pressured or singled out (unlike a lot of other gyms / fitness groups Ive experienced.) I felt encouraged/pushed to give my best without being overwhelmed. Great stuff!

Way too expensive, in my opinion. I was a first time client and decided to join a free class to see what all the hype was about. While the music was great, I felt bored with the workout. In the class, only 3 options were available: rower, treadmill, & cardio. (Not enough variety for me) With the cardio, the trainer never truly assisted with showing how to properly do the cardio; instead we were told to look up at a monitor & watch how the woman did it on the tv. It was quite irritating and frustrating. I ultimately decided to not continue b/c for what they offer, it’s not worth a $110/$169 per month membership.

We were attending this OTF from out of town and loved it! Madi was awesome and kept encouraging the entire class to do more. This will be our go to OTF on our future trips to PDX.

Not since I was a collegiate athlete, have I been pushed in a way in which an OTF class does. I thrive on competing against myself earning those coveted splat points. Seeing real time how specific moves and exercises impacts my body is so satisfying. After each class ends, I am already looking forward to the next one!

I wasn’t even sure what Orange theory was about, but was excited when I learned it was all scheduled HIIT classes. I need somebody there to push me, especially in a group setting, and that’s exactly what I got. Everybody there is nice and welcoming, They didn’t make me feel bad about not working out in so long, or that I was slower than others. The nice thing is you do the best for you and the coach is there to encourage you to keep pushing through. It’s great for people like me that need the motivation and accountability. Can’t wait to include these classes into my weekly routine!

Best work-out & consistently challenging! It’s like having a personal trainer but not having to talk to them (in that awkward “friends” way). You can also be competitive with yourself or others, which I like. The Manger Rachel is also great!

I would never exercise without Orange Theory! The workout is fun, challenging, vigorous, and short. Signing up for classes makes me show up without questioning whether I want to work out, and Im always glad I did. Every class/workout routine is different, so it never gets boring. The staff and fellow members are friendly and supportive, so it feels like a community. I recommend Orange Theory to everyone I can.

Being able to see my heart rate, and having that number be color-coded based on effort, really helps me hold myself accountable during the workout. Sometimes you feel like youre working hard, but knowing my *actual* heart rate helps me determine whether Im pushing myself hard enough or whether Ive got more to give. And though Im a very reserved person, I appreciate how welcoming both the staff and all the members are. It feels like Ive joined an emotionally intelligent tribe that knows how to encourage me while also accepting me for wherever I am in my fitness and health journey.

The engagement and camaraderie of the members and trainers is amazing. If you want a place where you want to feel you are part of something, this it. The feeling of being part of a group allows me to engage more and feel more energized which allows me to push my self more. The work out was revitalizing to me and made a huge difference on how my body felt with one class. I am looking forward to my next class

LOVE OTF! Amazing and super friendly staff members. Because it makes you happy, makes your life easier and you feel fresh. And Being stronger, leaner, happier, and more capable can make for a better life. Youll feel awesome after you exercise. Immediately. Intensely. Unequivocally. An early morning walk is a blessing for the whole day, Training increases your capabilities. Thats the law of progressive overload--lift something a little bit heavier each day, get a little bit stronger. Run a little faster each day, get a little bit, faster. Because it helps you win at life! Setting and achieving fitness goals helps you set and achieve goals in every other aspect of your life.

Everyone here is super friendly and I always feel great after my workout! The trainers are very helpful and are always there for you if you need anything. I love the group setting because it pushes you to do your best but the heart rate monitor allows you to stick to your personal and individual goals as well. You can try your first class for free!!

I had an awesome workout! It was an inviting space that let me feel comfortable. (How often can one say that going into a gym for The first time?) The trainer Melody made it a great experience. They are thorough in getting you up to speed and help correct form in a non pretentious way.

Friendly and clean environment. Great workout - different every day and I feel awesome afterwards with the right amount of sore and tired. I really love the tech side of things and the reports you get after your workout. I still consider myself a newbie but Ive really enjoyed my time with Orangetheory so far. Only thing I have yet to get used to is classes being waitlisted on weekends days in advance.

OTF has a team feel to it. Kind of like a spin class only more engaging. Its hard to motivate myself to do core work and you guys get me on that floor every time! I am seeing results and literally feeling better than I have in years.

This branch is fabulous! Very clean and I normally book classes with aubree after work and she is such a pleasure to have as a coach! She is extremely nice and hands on so youre not doing the exercises wrong! The front desk staff is also extremely knowledgable and really helpful! thank you guys so much :)

My husband and I just started back at Orange Theory in Beaverton. We definitely missed it. Love the workouts and high energy of The trainers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient with lots of parking, I could probably walk there-just worried about making it back home after the workout..lol🤣🤣

Been to about 10 classes total so far. I love all the trainers that I’ve met so far, and I love the front desk people as well. Always so friendly and caring. I do wish it were more affordable, and I wish that classes you didn’t use one month carried over into the next since you’re paying for them either way. But besides all that, it’s great! I always wanna push myself to get myself into the orange zone and get more splat points and burn more calories. I enjoy how class is split into part weights and part cardio and the exercises and routines are always different! It’s worth going to a free class to check it out. You’ll feel great after!

OTC changed my life... I used to run outside and never believed in treads but the instructors motived me to up my performance, strengthen my core, endurance, and feel better about myself. I lost weight, gained muscle, and leaned up. First month I could start seeing a difference, second month people started noticing, and every month afterwards it become more and more noticeable. Trick is sticking with it... I started twice a week then up to 6 days... Make sport a daily habit.

It is a fun, supportive, and energetic environment where people of all fitness levels and abilities are welcome. I love spending an hour of my day here and after over 300 workouts Im not bored yet.

I’m fairly new to OTF and was very nervous to start because I have been sedentary due to injuries. The staff and coaches have been incredibly welcoming and supportive. They provide good modifications when you can’t do an excercise as demonstrated. The other clients are supportive and encouraging as well! I highly recommend this location!

Orange Theory has gotten me in the best shape of my life. Im over 50 and a non-athlete. My resting heart rate is now at 61 and I feel great!

Out of all of the OTFs I have been to, this one is my favorite - it’s all about the people!Members = Super welcoming! Lots of of high-fives and cheering each other on. Definitely a camaraderie feeling.Staff = Very responsive, super helpful and very welcoming.Coaches = Definitely top tier! These coaches are super positive and really take the time to individually check on you and speak directly to you during the workout. Very motivating and helpful. The price point of OTF is partially to have this group “personal training”, so I’m glad they are delivering on this.Keep it up!

I absolutely LOVE Orangetheory Fitness (especially the Beaverton one). Growing up, I was a high level competitive gymnast so I endured rigorous workouts that pushed me to my limits. Since quitting 11 years ago, I have been struggling with keeping a workout routine, pushing myself and not giving up when I get tired, and a lack of knowledge when it comes to weight exercises. Orangetheory has literally fixed all of those problems for me! Looking up at the screen and seeing myself in the Orange or Red zone makes me push even harder to earn more splat points. Im held accountable to my workouts because if I dont show up I get charged. AND, having a trainer there telling you what to do is so helpful because I dont have to plan anything! Honestly, if youre new to working out or a veteran, I would definitely recommend Orangetheory! Especially the Beaverton one because everyone who works there is incredible and its like a small community.

The staff is great, they watch to make sure youre staying on track but not pushing yourself to the point of being unsafe. I like the variety of class times. I feel like I got a good workout but not to the point of feeling sick!

I love being able to just show up and leave after 1 hour knowing that I gave my body and overall health a hefty dose of what it needs. Coach Tae is also one of the BEST OTF coaches Ive had over several OTF studios (both in and out of state), and I highly recommend taking one of his sessions to new and old members alike!

OTF BEAVERTON has been my home for just over two months and it feels like just that, HOME. The front desk, management, and trainers greet you like Family... push you like siblings... and are there with advice and encouragement along the way like the gym-parents you’ve always wanted. I look forward to my 5 workouts each week and the respect and love that come with them. You asked our fitness goals when we started but OTF serves more than just fitness; it serves Family.
